Always a good place for things...
Didnt have my wifes prescription ready although they said the doctor had called a few days ago and they just didnt fill it yet (tried to say something about us having to call and confirm afterwards which they later said wasnt actually the case and it should have been ready when we got there), and then only filled the prescription for one month instead of three months, straight up refused to fill the rest of the prescription despite the fact that we waited almost an hour for it to be done when it was supposed to be done when we got there. Asked multiple times to have the rest of it filled, they just would not do it. Would have talked with management on the spot but we had somewhere to be (since we had to wait an unexpected hour). We now have to go back in 3 weeks to get the prescription filled properly, but it sure as hell wont be here. Dont bother with this pharmacy, we are never going back.
Horrible service. Long wait times. I called to explain we had changed insurance levels which meant our prescriptions were to be cheaper. The first lady I spoke with was rude and the second explained things to me like I had no idea what I was talking about. I spoke with our insurance rep and explained it the way I was told too. I moved pharmacies after this. Learn to speed pick up times and be nicer to your customers.
I was treated poor with bad customer service here by a pharmacy technician Donald Shaw. I have talked to numerous pharmacies before never been treated so rudely over the phone or in person as a patient at a pharmacy. Was pretty unfriendly like he wanted to fight me got my heart rate from under 90 to 128 on my fitbit watch while i was sitting on the phone talking to Mr. Shaw. I am always respectful especially since I have worked inside a busy pharmacy years ago before where I was the only tech with one pharmacist on a Saturday so I dont believe I deserved the argumentation with him not wanting to tranfer my meds back to pharmacy to fill it. Pharmacist the night before said they were out of stock on a pretty common medication so I would have to drive to another walmart In the opposite direction(extra 20 mile trip on top of what i drove) for the medication or wait until the next day. I do not live in sioux falls or very close to another pharmacy. Because I was having health problems couldnt make it all the way to the east store after driving over 40 miles to sioux falls in the first place. The next day today pharmacy tech Mr Shaw was very extremely rude arguing with me over the phone telling me I should just go drive to the other pharmacy instead of moving the script back to Mr. Shaws Walmart pharmacy. As if I even have the extra gas money or as if I was even able too? I know if i ever spoke to anyone the way Mr. Shaw spoke to me I would be fired from my job almost immediately. I used to work at Meijers in Indianapolis where a pharmacist had me drive to another store to get a medication for a patient so I think its poor customer service to demand on someone they drive over 10 miles for total of a 20 mile round trip to another store for medicine act like they dont want to transfer the prescription back when they arent able to drive there (arguing and making a lengthy wasteful conversation-why not just transfer without argumentation?) and I want to point out the fact that just because a patient might appear well to a pharmacist or technician at a pharmacy or seem that way over the phone does not always mean they are feeling well in addition maybe they might not have anyone else with a car to run errands for them nor the extra gas money. Not all medical problems are visible to the naked eye and just because someone can smile or walk or drive does not mean they never have pain or medical complications from doing those types of activities even when they might appear to look young and healthy. I also want to point out the fact I am wearing a fitbit watch and this individual got my heart rate from under 90 to 128ish with the rude way he acted towards me over the phone is probably not healthy in my present condition in addition to the fact people have been overall pretty rude in sioux falls towards me at the walmart stores there where I have worked In the past 2009-2010 had another employee run into my stomach with a grocery cart while working at east side walmart when I thought I was pregnant started bleeding the next day several years ago. They never apologized. And so this is the store where the Sioux Falls Louise pharmacy wanted me to drive to pick up medicine December 2018 for an extra 20 miles on a round trip already well over 80 miles. Have not had a good employment experience in sioux falls area walmart store in addition to customer experiences.
Unreliable, continually makes mistakes and messes up the prescription. Took 1 hour and 15 minutes to fill prescription. They finally filled it correctly the 3rd time
They bvb ever have protein shakes on hand.
Very polite and helpful
