Absolutely fantastic! Our group did the Paris Heist and the host was an absolute gem. The puzzles were very well designed and super satisfying to solve... despite our failure to actually escape. Well definitely be coming back!

Great rooms, fun themes! The room my group played today was a Paris heist theme. We almost made it out!

For those that love working with friends and the challenge of puzzles and riddles, you will have a great time. There are 9 different rooms with varying themes and difficulty levels. The rooms are very well constructed, clever and aided with cameras and TV for hints. We travel all around for escape rooms and found these to be the best weve tried. We did 2 rooms and cant wait to do the others

First time escape room for all of our group. 4 14/15 year olds and one adult. For the most part the kids led the clue solving. We did the camping room and it went well. Most of the puzzles led themselves along. The staff member was friendly. Clean place. We will be back. I would definitely recommend to others.

Great escape rooms, did the 60 to life was marked as the hardest and was a good challenge for me and my friends.

Brought my 11 year old and 7 year old for some girl-time to the Camped Out Escape Room. Brian was AWESOME! He was super friendly and helped us stay on track if we were completely lost. Highly recommend!

Very fun and the staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was clean and they made sure to wipe everything down. They want you to succeed and so they give many hints but they make you work for it. Would definitely come back and recommend to a friend!

My husband and I went here for the first time. We had so much fun in the first room that we went to another one that same night! Such a fun experience for someone who loves puzzles and mystery. Loved the staff and the room set ups. It was an amazing experience. We will be finishing all them soon 🙃

Do not book with Escapades. They do not adhere to their own contracts, and if you call or email to change your times, you will be ignored and hung up on. Yes, Kari, I have proof.We emailed and called two days before our booking to change it, and were ignored. When the original day came, we were counted as a no show, despite us making the efforts to change it. The employee said it was no problem to change the date, and promised to waive the fee as management failed on their end.Ive since been told my changed date was never rebooked, and I wont be given a refund or have a new date booked because thats simply not something theyll even consider - despite breaking their own contract. When I called and emailed again to have it resolved, I was told it was harassment.I wont be using or recommending their services ever again. Keep the $100. You clearly need it more than me.

Horrible experience! Not from this area and thought rooms were at same location. Got bad directions and was lost so we were late. Instead of trying to be understanding, the owner was really rude about it and charged us another $35, despite the fact that there was no one else there and there were other rooms available still. We planned on doing another room directly after but they lost our business and we will advise all our Minnesota people to avoid this place! There are other places to do the same thing and we will do just that!

It was a great experience staff was nice and friendly and tells you detailed information to help you solve for clues. It was also very clean and everything was organized and ready.

This is such a fun escape room place. The staff is uber friendly and helpful. The room we did kept us thinking and puzzled the entire time. Totally worth it in Sioux falls.

We went here as a gift for our two oldest who turned 11 & 12 that week. We did the Camped Out one which is recommended for beginners & had a blast. We had no idea what to expect & thought it would be the only time we would go most likely with the price, only to be talking about when we could go again after we were done. The fun & memories were worth it! We escaped with 8-9 minutes left & the staff was great as well. :)

This was a great experience for our family. We really had to work together to get out. It was a good experience for our kids, although maybe a little much for our 5 year old. We did the Camped Out room and it was a good choice with kids. We will definitely be back!

We played Pirate Shipwreck last summer on our way to Yellowstone, and liked it so much that we decided to try a couple more rooms during our latest trip to Sioux Falls. Long story short - we ended up playing 5 rooms and even attempted axe throwing. Thank you, Beckahh, for being an amazing gamemaster!

Came here yesterday 6/10/20 for the Smash Room! We loved it! Clean facility and helpful staff! They offer axe throwing, smash rooms, escape rooms and also a banquette room for gatherings! We plan to book an event in the future! Highly recommend this place for a fun day/night out with a group of friends. Oh, they also serve a variety of beer/wine.

This was my first experience in an escape room and it was super fun! Loved all the challenges and puzzles! there were some clues where you least expected it and some that were so obvious that you almost missed it! Had a great time and will definitely come again.

Smash rooms overpriced and lame. Dishes and bottles. That’s it and in a small tote. Lame lame lame. I was so disappointed that I payed so much for something I could have done at home. Make sure to read the website before purchase.

Had a really great experience doing the camped out room with my 13 year old. This was our 1st time ever doing an escape room and I think that room was a great choice for beginners (not that I’m saying it was too easy as we used pretty much all of our clues!). The attendant was great and very helpful. We will definitely be back

I had so much fun! Id always heard of escape rooms, but never thought it would be something I was good at. I had the best time and laughed so much and enjoyed working together with everyone! You dont even realize how fast time goes! I recommend this place to everyone for a good time!

One of the best Escape Rooms Ive ever been to, and I try to visit different rooms every time I travel. I cant say enough about Selda, who ran our two rooms for us. She was inviting and witty and absolutely hilarious. The rooms were great, and Selda put the experience over the top. Thank you again!

Now this is entertainment you must indulge in! We had a group of about 10--young (30,s 40s) and old (60s, 70s). The camping escape room was a blast! Lots of problem solving, guessing, searching for clues. Black light included. The supervisors lock you in and you have an hr. to get out. They also give you clues when you are stuck. I plan to go back to try the reading room and the pirate ship:) Unique, challenging fun!!!!

Our group had an incredible time at Escapades! The staff were incredibly friendly and make it a great experience. The room was very well designed with great teamwork and problem solving as well as a consistent theme throughout to really make you feel like a part of the story. The puzzles were appropriately challenging making it satisfying once each was solved. Overall, an excellent experience and look forward to returning for more!

Tried our hand at our first escape room in South Dakota (we have done a few in Minnesota). Had a great time escaping with just the hubby and I on the Shipwreaked room. This is not a room you want to try for your first time! Even with experience we barely made it in time. Thanks to the staff for a great experience, we cant wait till we come back to the Sioux Falls area to try another one.

We were looking for something fun to do in Sioux Falls and we came across this place. What a great activity! We did the Rapunzel room and it was challenging and fun. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Recommend highly!

We did the pirate room here with two adults and one child as we were passing through Sioux falls. Weve done almost 100 rooms now and this one ranks pretty high on the list. All the puzzles are logical and super fun. The huge pirate ship and digging in the sand were two super unique aspects. This will test your scavenging and puzzle skills. Note that they discourage cheating with a time penalty that weve never seen before. I highly recommend this room to anyone new or experienced with escape rooms.

I went here with 3 friends after receiving coupons from my parents and it was one of the best experiences ever! As soon as we finished, we wanted to do another one! We are DEFINITELY going back and keeping it on our list as one of our favorite places to go! If you love puzzles and problem solving, I highly recommend this as an incredibly fun outing for any group!

I had an excellent experience! 7 of us tested the pirate room and narrowly managed an escape. The staff is as inviting as they are friendly, and the room was a very welcome challenge. We all offered a different perspective to the puzzles, and every one of us walked out excited about what wed achieved. I wont offer specific details, but I heavily recommend it.

Had a great time over Christmas trying to steal the pirate treasure.. alas we walked the plank.. glad we could swim.. One Family was new and never did any escape rooms before. They really enjoyed it. Hope to do more in the future. Staff was great and overall was a fun escape during the holidays.

Really fun group experience, and a welcome break from more couch-based recreation. We did the 60 to Life scenario, which provided a lot of opportunity for two groups to cooperate at the beginning and continues to reward cooperation throughout. Every bit what I expected.

Went here for my Birthday and was not disappointed. I had a blast. This was my second escape room experience (first with Escapades) and we got down to 22 seconds left! The puzzles all made sense but there was a lot more searching that had to be done compaired to my first room. Highly recommend this place for an hour of puzzling fun.

Our varsity volleyball team did a room here and it was nothing but smiles all around! It was the first escape room for many of us, and we all fell in love. The staff was friendly and the room had many surprising steps. I am definitely planning on returning! Thank you for a wonderful night!

I WOULDNT RECOMMEND this place. We had a HORRIBLE experience with the staff. My husband and I had won a package of 10 tickets through the Sioux Empire Wedding Showcase and had booked the Paris Heist room with our wedding party. I had to call and ask them to extend our tickets for a week since one of our wedding party members lived out of town and I wanted to make sure they had the option to participate. They gladly did this extension for us which was greatly appreciated. I had went online to see the different rooms and to book a room that could include most our wedding party but had to come back to book after making sure the time would work for everyone in our group. Once I left the booking the first time I got an email that said I would get a discount on my tickets if I booked within a certain time and I had heard back from our group members and was able to book. I went back into my booking from the email I had gotten and we purchased an extra two tickets so that everyone we invited could participate. Everything was completed and ready to go for FRIDAY August 8, 2019 at 8:30. When we showed up to do our escape room the employee told me that we still owed money our booking and no one would be able to do the escape room if we didnt pay it. I told her that I paid for the tickets we bought extra online and that everything should be paid for in full. She proceeded to tell me that the discount from the email took money off of the tickets we had gotten for free as well, so we got a bigger discount than we were supposed to. I told her that I had already paid for them and I couldnt pay any extra since I was already under the impression that it was paid for. She told me NO ONE would be able to do the escape room unless we paid the remaining total. The employee called the owner and both of them were AWFUL and RUDE to us in person and over the phone. They ACCUSED me of multiple things... wanting to get more free things since I already had 10 free tickets, getting an extension twice on the free tickets when we only did once and apparently they tried to contact us to tell us that the payment and discount went through incorrectly when I recieved no phone call/email or any other form of communication on the issue before we arrived to our booking.They were very RUDE and I had a total of 12 people that witnessed them being this way. They wouldnt allow ANYONE to participate in the escape room unless we paid so we ended up putting the rest on a credit card which was not ideal for us since we were paying for our wedding expenses. After we paid and thought we were over the whole ordeal, the employee was explaining rules and other information to our whole group and while she did this she proceeded to make RUDE comments towards me and the situation to the other members in our group. The other thing I could compain about was that the room was not big enough for the amount of people that were allowed to participate. I will never be going to this place again because of the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and DISRESPECT. A company should take into consideration that their website had a mistake on it and give the discount. Then proceed to fix it. There was no reason for these people to be so RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL in front of multiple people who they have lost any possible future business with. They made it seem like the extra discount I received was something they couldnt afford to give and that because I had most of my tickets already free they were going to be RUDE and refuse service if it wasnt paid for. Super UNPROFESSIONAL for this business...

Ive done escape rooms in Omaha and San Diego, and this one is just as too notch as those one were. The unique clues and interesting hiding places definitely keeps you on your toes. Been back 2 times now, we will definitely be back.

2nd time going here our room monitor left her post to answer the door for 5 minutes while we asked for a clue and we had to wait for them to get back to continue. Someone else typed on the screen that they had left and they would pause the time. It took some of the fun out of it, considering we paid $75 for the room. You give me 75 bucks an hour, I would stay seated. The room was okay, its very challenging, so if you arent asking for clues, it would be quite difficult to finish in the hour, but I think that is their intention.

Can not recommend this place enough! Great people, great rooms, and dont force you to play with strangers like the other escape room in town.

Awesome Escape Rooms! I’ve played them ALL! Very clever unique rooms, great staff!I’ve played with Family Friends Co-Workers & even my Nieces Soccer team! We may not have escaped all of the rooms but we did have a Great time playing them all. Rapunzels is the 1st room we played and it’s still my favorite!

A fun time for the whole family. We had a blast. Fun puzzles that are kind of techy too. The outside of the building isn’t all the great but the inside is very nice.

I have been to Esapades twice and had great experiences both times. I went with a group of 8 for a bachelorette party and again with a group of 5 friends. There are a variety of themes and difficulties which makes each experience unique. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
