Four Star Auto Body and Repair stands alone.A couple of weeks ago, I needs to have some body work done after a bit of a dust up with another car. My brothers told me to go see Joe at Four Star Auto Body and Repair. They swore by his shop so I rang him up. I went in the next day with an estimate from my insurance company. He did an inspection of the damage according to the report, and noticed there were other things missed by the insurance company. I went by what the report said, but Joe caught things they overlooked. He called them up and settled with them. His shop was busy so he honestly said the car would be ready in 2 to 3 weeks. I left my car and let him do his thing.Forward a couple of weeks later, and the car was ready for pickup. When I saw the car, it practically looked brand new. It was like nothing ever touched it. Deep dents and scratches were completely gone and the paint job was perfect. They even went as far as to clean the inside of the car. I have three kids so you can imagine how trashed it looked inside. It was like the car got detailed. This was without a doubt the best auto repair experience Ive ever had. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! My daughter had a serious crash in my 3-year-old minivan - front bumper and front right fender totally trashed, right front wheel broken off of axle, right front door caved in - it was bad enough that the insurance company thought about totaling it, but Joe and his team fixed it right up in less time than they initially estimated it would take. They even fixed a couple of dents and scratches that werent caused by the crash. They cleaned the whole thing inside and out. It looks and drives like a brand new car! I had never been in an accident before and Joe was patient and kind with me - even though Im sure I asked the same questions several times. Thank you Joe and the whole 4 Star team! This place is great! I was not excited at having to seek repairs after the recent bizarre wind storm decided to drop a basketball hoop on the hood of my car. Scheduling service was easy. The owner, Joe, was nice and friendly. He kept me updated on the work and communicated with me a few times through the process. Everything was done quickly. And the work was great. Joe and his team made my car look brand new! I brought in my Volkswagon Jetta to have bodywork and paint done. It had a lot of exterior dents/scratches throughout the doors, back bumper, and the side panels of my trunk were pushed in. One dent near my back drivers side wheel was pretty severe and looked like it had been crimped. They replaced my back bumper and fixed every dent, scratch and imperfection. The blending they did with the paint looks seamless. I would never take my car anywhere else, if your looking to have body work done this is THE best place to go to!

Joe and his crew did a phenomenal job repairing a number of door dings and scratches on our Acura MDX. My sister is a teacher at a local school and her doors have taken a beating in the parking lot, with a number of door dings and scratches at the least ideal places such as body lines. Joe was very transparent and understood we were trying to address the eye sores without paying a ton out of pocket. He recommended a paintless dent removal process with buffing and touch up painting to get the car back in shape at a dramatically lower price than what other body shops recommended. Everytime we see the car now, my whole family is amazed at what they were able to do at such an affordable price. Did I mention it was a 4 hour turn around?I wont hesitate to recommend them to any friends looking for body work.

First time dealing with car accident repairs and Four Star Auto Body made it a walk in the park. Joe was extremely helpful, patient and understanding of my schedule and worked to get my car repaired and back on the road. Even though Four Star was not apart of my insurances repair network they worked with them to resolve any issues and it made my life so much easier. When it came to time, cost, and quality, Joes auto body shop beat the competition and my expectations. I was in an accident where my car got side swiped. See the pictures. The damages went from the front bumper all the way to the back tire. I first took my car to Gerber and they wanted to keep my car 2 weeks+ and the cost was higher than I anticipated. I took my car to Joes shop and he was able to beat the estimate by at least $650, & finish the car in under 2 weeks. When I went to pick up my car, it was almost like a new car. There was no damage left from the accident at all. It looked beautiful again. They also fixed some scuffs and marks on my car that needed attention and fixing & gave me a brand new back bumper too. I was impressed by the amount of effort & attention they put into my car to go above & beyond the regular damage repair. I am more than satisfied with the work and the final results. Joe was also really attentive in explaining what they did and answered all my questions thoroughly. He made the entire process so smooth from beginning to the end. I know I will be talking about this experience for a while. If I should need anymore car work in the future, I know who to trust.

I was recently rear ended by someone and they refused to use anyone except 4 star auto body to fix it. I fought them on it because I had never heard of them After a while I caved in and accepted to use them for the work. I am so happy I caved in. Joel the owner was awesome. He explained everything they were going to do and made me feel comfortable and confident that the work would be done to MY satisfaction and that I would not be disappointed. They repaired my bumper in about a day and a half and it looks great. Even though I did not pay for the repair, he told me how much it was and it was below other estimates I had gotten from three other places. I will definitely use them for any future repairs.

Joe and his team are outstanding and his prices cant be beat. I stopped in on Saturday afternoon for an estimate to have my damaged car door replaced and before I knew it the parts were ordered for delivery Monday morning, and his team completed the work by 10am Tuesday. I only intended on getting my door replaced but his prices were so low I also asked him to replace my trunk (the paint was noticeably faded) and repair a broken door handle. These were all cosmetic issues that I had been avoiding knowing it would be costly, especially without an insurance claim. Joe’s estimate for all of the above was less than half the price I was quoted at another Skokie auto body shop for only the door repair. I couldn’t be happier and recommend his services without hesitation.

They charge half of the price of labor, they ordered the piece based on phone description without taking any deposit, they fixed our car without the need to replace and they were honest and compare to other places they could have 1. I recently had 2 cars worked on here. When I brought the first car in it was pretty messed up. The hood and front bumper were smashed from me rear ending someone.
