It was really fun to watch the ladies make the rolled ice cream! Very tasty and unique from your average ice cream shop. I recommend getting the junior size (plenty of ice cream!) And eating this dessert fast as it is very thin and melts faster than usual. :)

I called ahead and ordered for curbside pick up. I had a great conversation with the owner too. Saffron is from a family farm in Iran, dried roses are also imported....the Saffron Special was INCREDIBLE. He also kept his team during the pandemic and paid them as much as he could. Great people great place. Highly recommend!!!

A fun way to get a mediocre bowl of ice cream. I would certainly go here at least once for the novelty.The concept of how the ice cream is made is awesome and its a ton of fun to watch be executed but the results are ultimately sub-par.Unfortunately, the rolling technique makes the ice cream so cold that you cant really taste subtle flavors like matcha (pictured) or mango. Strong flavors like Chocolate are able to shine through however, so stick with these.For this reason, i feel the $7 price tag is too steep for what you end up.The staff is friendly and helpful. And you also end up with an Instagram worthy picture of your dish.

I watched as 6 workers inefficiently make our order. With 4 stations, 1 person was making 2 orders ahead of us while the other 4 looked on and seemed lost. So this was not a case of slow service due to lack of workers!The mere fact that the workers with long hair didn’t have their hair back or at least in a cap and a young man making an order kept pushing his hair back from his eyes with the back of his gloves hands while he made other people’s order was definitely unsanitary.If I could give them zero stars, I would but the system doesn’t allow it. I was extremely disappointed!Needless to say this is the first and last time my family and I will be coming to this establishment.

Interesting selection of flavors, the saffron ice cream can be ordered with rose leaves, the texture, the flavor was a unique experience, it is definitely a place that you must visit.

Loved the experience, the fact that you may ask the very kind person who attend this ice cream shop to mix your favorite fruit and they do it in just seconds, in front of your eyes and then rolled it up and serve it topped with cream and more delicious toppings... we tried #8 and #10 you cant miss those!

5/28- The girl at counter was incredibly RUDE. The coffee was burnt and disgusting, the dog cupcake was hard as a rock, and the ice cream bar on display had MOLD on it. When we told the counter girl, she snarned and walked away.

The girl working the counter was rude and they were out of the flavor I wanted but my second choice tasted good

I absolutely loved the roll ice cream! You could either get just the rolled ice cream or get toppings with it for about $7. The chocolate/nutella/banana rolled ice cream that I got was extremely rich. That said, the portions are a bit large so I recommend sharing.The guy was also nice enough to give my cousin a free oreo rolled ice cream after my aunt messed up the order.

Love the rolled over cream from this place. The prices were beyond reasonable for what you get and how many ingredients and toppings you get with your order (regular you get 2 ingredients in your rolled ice cream and 3 toppings). The place is a must if you are stopping at Old Orchard Mall. The employees were patient, kind, and provided astounding service. I know I will be returning in the near future!

Attempted to go there and the place was closed at 2pm in the afternoon on a weekday. According to the hours posted it said it would be open. Looks really dirty from the outside, especially the glass Windows. Out of place at the mall. Waste of time

This place customer service is bad. We made an order they said it will 15 to 20 min. So instead of sitting outside in the cold we walked around and come back and walked in asked our rolled ice creams and the girl with green hair was very rude saying the ice cream wasnt ready because we werent outside It would have melted so she literally skipped us its a ice cream place for Gods sake and we didnt even take so long instead of nicely or politely answer she started yelling saying we shouldnt have left if we wanted our ice creams really like we are paying for ittttt....

This is my first time having saffron ice cream and WOW, packed with a nice aroma. I also tried the pumpkin and it is just the right spice. The ice cream was smooth and silky. Definitely will want to try all of their favors which they have lots to choose from.

Took forever told us 25 mins actually took 45, ice cream wasn’t even that good totally not worth the wait. And finally the only thing worth it was the spoon.

Got the pistachio, was a little pricey but you get a lot of ice cream. Tasted really fresh too.

The taste is not worth the price you are paying. Its a mediocre ice cream in a fancy shape. It looks like the employees are forced to work there. The cashier went out the store to smoke so all guests that were sitting outside enjoyed” their ice cream with extra smoke aroma.

This place was very nice. There were no lines when I was there on Wednesday. They worked quickly to get our stuff ready. My guys seemed to like the frozen stuff. (I dont know if I can trust them on this. they say anything that they dont pay for is good.)

Ice cream was good of course. But wouldnt come back for the service. Didnt seem like a happy environment. Cool to watch the cold ice cream be rolled. But when asking the lady what does the Saffron taste like, is it strong? all she responds is I dont know in a bored way, doesnt really make me want to go back. Especially for such expensive prices. Wouldnt you want your employees to know how to answer a simple question about what your Saffron tastes like? Its in the name of your store. Not a very pleasant experience.

I really like smoothies. Specially of banana and pistachios. When ever I be there for shopping will try it.

The ice cream is perfect but employees are very slow and like they don’t know what they are doing!!!! It took 10 minutes for saffron ice cream with carrot juice! After 10 mins they were like “oh sorry we are low on carrots!!!!!

This ice cream is super good! You get to add in 2 things to the ice cream and put on 3 toppings (if you get the regular size), which is really nice because it is not a little bit either. They have kids size, too. It is really cool to watch the people make the rolled ice cream! The place was really clean and the decorations were really nice. They offer other things besides rolled ice cream, like smoothies and fancy stuff with saffron in it. I cant judge on those though because I havent had them. The only negative comment I have about this place is that it is kind of expensive. At the end of the day, I would totally recommend this place! (unless, of course you are on a tight budget😂) Also if you are reading this please like this review!!! Thx!😁🙌💝

I asked for them to remake or refund my money because it was the wrong flavor and many people in the store... neither was done! But had an attitude telling me to repay! Very unprofessional and one needs more practice on blending the fruit..

Saffron offers rolled ice cream, and a bit more- ice cream, fresh juice, Persian desserts, etc... The service is great, but the rolling process is somewhat timely.

Great service loved the workers (Esther and Chandlyr) were very welcoming and were great at explaining how everything worked to me. I would definitely want to come back again, and even be a part of the workforce here.

Ive been meaning to right this review for 3 days now but this establishment was very dirty tables were not cleaned and ice cream was spilled on the floor and when I went to order the manager shanda had a nasty attitude that ruined the vibe of the entire store she talked to me like she didnt want to take my order and she was very rude to her staff this place needs to be shut down also the place where they do toppings looked very nasty and unkept they even left ice creams out if u are planning on coming here dont the manager is very rude and not good with customer service and doesnt know how to run a store prices are outrages and the desserts in the clear thing looked old and disgusting

We waited 25 minutes for just a smoothie because there were orders of Rolled ice cream ahead of us and it takes time to make them. They should manage so that the orders that take less time should be attended in parallel rather following the order number. On top of this, smoothie didnt taste well and had to throw it. Never gonna stop again.
