This establishment provides some nice treats as well as good drinks. The decor is very nice. The presentation of the dishes was very professional. Im glad I had visited this place and I invite you to do the same .

A lovely open air cafe with delicious food and excellent coffee. Get there in the morning, before all of the mall stores open, for a quiet breakfast in the mall’s beautiful outdoor plaza.We will definitely be back next time we’re coming through Evanston. 👌👌🥞☕️

The service was quick, the quality of coffee, pineapple special and pastries where great. The outdoor tables couldve been cleaner it wasnt dust was kind of paint ( same color as tables). I like their little cute table sets outside.

There arent too many of these locations around and this is possibly the closest to my house in Beach Park up in NE Lake County.Anytime my family and I come down to Old Orchard to browse, we always stop in at SIP 22 being the crepes are well worth it.Their coffee beverages whether hot or iced are always a tasty & quenching addition to their delicious crepes.Venue is kept clean & sanitized, prices are reasonable and the staff are always super friendly.Wanna take a break from Starbucks? I highly recommend SIP 22 to anyone!☕😎👍

A great coffee shop in Old Orchard mall. Really fast service and coffee that is not overly bitter. They make both sweet and savory crepes as well (we didnt try those though). A good place to sit and relax if youre spending time at the mall.

A unique niche menu offering facilitated by a happy and willing staff of 2. Espresso grade was really good, I could tell their espresso machine was dialed in for a proportional extraction and just right acidity.Prices are high, but I imagine so is the fixed cost of operation at that location.

One of my favorite cafes, very quite and variety of drinks…. Their Nutella late is highly recommended.

Their small greenhouse in the cold of November made them winner over other cafe and ice cream shops in Old Orchard.Their little greenhouse was warm enough even without a heater to sit and have ice cream & there is no extra charge to use them.Coffee, cake and ice cream were all good.

I have tried many coffee places and Crepes around Chicago but not as delicious as these. Great coffe flavor, chai Latte was awesome and the crepes are so Yummy 😋🤤

Sip 22 has great quality coffees, teas and treats. The baristas are very nice and they have an amazing indoor seating area as well as a outdoor one. I definitely recommend coming to Sip 22!!

Good place to refuel yourself while shopping at the mall. Its a new store so it was busy and our order sort of got messed up. But the owner and staff members noticed and gave us a few treats to hold us over as we waited. They were very kind and accommodating, letting us know what the issue was and being sincere in wanting us to have a good experience. Its interior design is cozy and the owner was very knowledgeable about the coffee!

I like the ambiance and the fact that they have nice covered small tables outside. Their crepes are delicious too. However, my only issue is that we asked for the crepe to have very little euro cream, yet it was smothered in it.

Glad i didnt have to go to Starbucks for coffee. They use dark matter coffee roasted in Chicago.. my iced Americano was great

I loved this place. Their Nutella latte is the best! & the pastries and crepes are always so good. The staff is also super nice and with such positive attitudes.

I went in around 6 to grab some coffee and as I was looking around, the danishes/muffins looked an awful lot like Costco’s. Being a small coffee shop, I would assume they baked their own goods. Coffee wasnt anything special, service was horrible. I did not want to cause a scene, but I will not be coming back and neither will anyone I associate with.

I only had coffee, which was nice. Next time I hope I will try crepes.

I was in Chicago for 3 weeks and had the BEST cup of coffee here! I ordered a half-caf mocha with coconut milk and it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is hip and cozy and the gentlemen that were working there were very nice. Great service. Excellent coffee!

The crepes are so delicious and have a variety of choices so you can make your perfect meal. It’s hard to pick a favorite coffee because they’re all so good, but if I had to pick I would recommend the Nutella Latte or the Whiskey Mocha!

Great place. I had the Caffecito that combines Horchata Mocha Espresso coffee and iced (pictured). Traditional and specialty coffee drinks using Dark Matter coffee. Highly recommend exploring the creative options served like the Caffecito I had. Next time, I am trying the Sea Salt Caramel Mocha. Definitely now one of my favorite coffee places.

I’ve been in here a couple of times when they first opened up. Decided to stop in on Sunday while doing some shopping, and the mistake I made. The women at the register was incredibly rude with lack of any acknowledgement towards me (she was a brunette). Gave such an attitude towards me when I asked for my drink. The drink was okay, I was a little bit hesitant to drink it looking at the amount of bugs in the store. It happens, though. Wouldn’t consider coming in here again after all these years with this kind of customer service.

Crepes are delicious. Cashier girl was not nice. No smile, no thank you. Not very inviting atmosphere all together. They are empty, not a lot of business now. I don’t think their rudeness helps too.

Interesting place - has a great location with great scenery and nice little Covid-proof areas to sit down. But if you’re coming here for their drinks, it’s not the place for it. I ordered the S’mores latte, and it didn’t taste like s’mores at all just a sweet, chocolate-ty flavored drink. I came with my cousins and their drinks all tasted watered down. Three stars for the vibes but don’t come for the drinks...even though that’s what this place supposedly specializes in.

All I have to say is..Ew. I have never been more disgusted with a coffee shop. The place is swarming with bugs, but I did not want to judge the drinks based on the disgusting atmosphere. HOWEVER, as I got my drink and left, I took off the lid to drink my coffee, and of course, what am I presented with? A FLY. I was already so disgusted with the atmosphere, that I just didn’t even want to walk back in. This restaurant has a major fly infestation and needs to be shut down or at least have this issue taken care of. Very disappointed with the outcome.

The best place to get coffee or a crepe! Anytime I’m at old orchard I always stop in and sometimes go solely to old orchard for sip22! Coffees are perfect for everyone, crepes are addicting and the place itself is beautiful and clean. Staff is super friendly and always accommodating.

I dont know where to begin with this place. The amazing coffee, the delicious crepes, or the super friendly and helpful staff. I have a nut allergy and they were super helpful with pointing out of anything was made out of Nutella (which has hazelnuts in it) versus what has chocolate. I ended up getting a savory crepe with spinach which was perfectly delicious.

Awesome spot for coffee while you are shopping at the Old orchard Mall in Skokie area. The cafe delivers which is a big plus. I order online for delivery at least 3-4 times a month. Their build your own crepe option is awesome for vegetarians. Only qualm would be the gourmet coffee drinks which are slightly on the sweeter side. I usually end up changing some of the syrup or flavor portions to suit my taste. Definitely better than Starbucks! They should open more locations in and around Chicago area.

I personally don’t have any pictures for this coffee shop, but I personally love it. I have to stop by it every single time I’m in or around Old Orchard. It is a beautiful, whole-in-the-wall vibe with great coffee from all over the world, and while I would like to see it expand, you feel like when you’re in a booth with a friend you can talk about whatever and no one will hear. It’s a great place to meet someone, to start off a date, to end off a date, or to simply be there to work. It’s Starbucks 2.0, and I want to see it grow. 11/10 would coffee again.
