No one ever attempted to deliver my package that I ordered express. I took a day off work and waited all day in my living room because I needed this package.Only to get a message at 8:30pm saying no one was home to receive the package. I was sitting on my couch 3 feet from the door at that time.When I called they preceded to suggest I was lying. And that since it was my fault they couldn’t do anything about it. I could poke it up if I wanted. But I did not have a car.After getting a ride out there. The woman working the front desk was so overwhelmed by the exact same types of complaints. And a line full of people waiting. No one around to help her. So of course she came off a bit rude. But I can’t blame her.Get it together out there.

Can the delivery drive attempt to really deliver the package. Like seriously. I get a slip that I missed an important delivery, but they didn’t ring the bell! I woke from home and could have easily come down and sign for it. I’ve also had to get on a delivery driver twice about now allowing time for people to respond to the bell. By it took me all of 6 seconds to get to my bell from the couch and I asked who it was, no respond. Then I go downstairs to see my package leftOutside the apartment complex at the front door for anyone to grab. So when my packages are always missing, FedEx has a lot to do with this. Why do I pay to ship merchandise if it’s going to get stolen orI have to drive and come pick it up. Y’all have to do better. Seriously.

Of course they didn’t ring my doorbell even though I was home waiting for my package, that also came late. I needed this package to start an internship and now I’ll be behind because my package that had important tools wasn’t delivered. Not the first time they’ve messed up my package delivery either.

Quick and efficient pick up experience after a missed delivery.

Watched the useless driver drive off with my new phone after not even knocking. Now I’m going to my aunts funeral across the country in a city I’ve never been to, with no cell phone. When I tried to pick it up at the ship center I was forced to deal with a horrible monster woman named Sandra. They don’t care about ANYTHING at this Skokie location. Especially dental hygiene, apparently. Get that mouth together, Sandra. You work with the public.

Waiting for my Cell phone to be delivered and Fedexs delivery drivers do a terrible job getting in contact with their customers. I came to my mailbox 30 minutes after it was supposedly delivered and they told me it was my fault because I didnt sign off. Complete joke of a courier service.

I love coming here when I have a lot of free time to kill. They only have 3 registers but I have never seen all of them being used. Usually have only one super slow employee working here everytime I come here. Gave 2 stars because they are super friendly and nice, great customer service. Also nice and cool in the summer time and you have plenty of time to cool off while waiting in line.

Staff were very helpful. After two failed deliveries. The staff helped me know that if I came back later after the drivers returned everything. I would get my package.

Later night drop off (9pm) since it is a distribution hub. Covid friendly, social distance spacing, plexi glass. Friendly staff, parking available. Quick in and out for me at 7:00pm on a Thursday! My go to location if I missed the earlier pickup windows at other locations closer to home.

After a terrible experience with an online rug retailer I ended up having to return 9 rugs with only 6 labels sent. I was already beat down with frustration I dont think I could stand any more. Thankfully I was helped by Tyrone. He helped me above and beyond what was expected of him. He helped me sort the rugs and even dug out a left behind roll of super strong duct tape so I could tape some of the rugs together. He didnt have to help me as much as he did. He even helped me transfer the rugs to a dolly and brought them inside. I arrived 20 minutes before closing. I had all the ingredients for a total failure but instead Tyrone helped me and I wish he knew how much that meant to me. Seriously such a good man! Thank you Tyrone for being so nice and helpful!!!

I was pleasantly surprised how easy, convenient and helpful the whole experience was. I had a large and fairly heavy package, (66lbs), and so I was worried that it would be a hassle getting it inside and prepared for mailing. All my worry was quickly eliminated first by the automated entry door and, most importantly, how pleasant and helpful the attendant was in assisting me. I was in and out of there in no time, feeling far better upon leaving than arriving.

Terrible. If you see a really thin, curly haired woman working there stay waiting in line for anyone else, trust me, shes terrible.

Horrible customer service - driver came to the house and didn’t ring the doorbell just left a sticker on the door and left - didn’t receive my package on time - they told me to come to the Howard location to pick up the package after 6 - went after six said my package is still not there and probably won’t be there until after 7 - told them I spoke with someone on the phone and they told to come after 6 - lady at the desk said “ well it’s not Notated in the system you spoke with anyone so you just have to wait there’s nothing I can do” and said I can’t contact the driver at all then said they could but won’t because it’s pointless ! Just horrible service!

Smaller, quiet, and less busy center than the city ones. Thus, I would recommend coming here if youre shipping a lot of items or just want faster service without the lines. Nice, friendly counter employees as well.

I gave it 2 stars because The staffs are nice.I am a regular customer on this location but every time when I walk in about 5 or 6 people are standing on the line and only one person working in behind the desk.

They make it very clear that they dont care about you and you have to figure out the packing/sealing all by yourself.Only positive I can say about it is that being a ship center, next day delivery is guaranteed even if you drop it off late in the afternoon.

Terrible. I came to pick up a package and stood in line for over 20 minutes with a huge line behind me. Only one employee in the front while the other ones leaves through the back door. They don’t care about customers waiting or satisfaction. The front desk employee has no regard for people waiting while he’s making small talk with the customer. I will really try to avoid this location.

If I could give them a zero stars I would. My address as shown is correct and they did not attempt delivery. It was my debit card I paid to have overnighted here. And now its being returned to sender. I have no money to eat and the customer service could care less about their mistake.

I dont know why it has to be so remote, but aside from being too far from the city for me, it is a nice shipping center. I was picking up a package and it was fast enough for a week day early evening.

Gave a package of a kids coat weighting 4lbs and they claimed it was12 lbs ! 12 lbs for a kids coat and charged me $31 shipping instead of $12NEVER will I ship FEDEX again NEVER Never Never!!!!!There is something wrong with that Office on Howard !

Its not pretty but its a FedEx counter. Sometimes you need supplies or want a secure drop off. Never had a problem getting in and out of here relatively quick. Parking is always available out front.

Honestly i never had a problem at this location but today i spoke to their customer service center and all they did was give me the run around about my package i specifically called to let them know i will be coming to pick up my package i get there they resend my first class mail back without notice so i was basically send on a blank mission. I call back to ask why they would resend it back and they offered no real answer but lies on how i was misinformed this is unacceptable fedex doesnt offer transportation reimbursement for the inconvenience i had to go through the whole entire day!

I had to go here to ship something and there were 2 employees working that evening and I was the only customer. By the time I left all 3 of us were laughing and having a good time. They were super friendly and professional.

Not sure why there are all these bad reviews. Went here to ship three very large boxes. They were a little short staffed that morning, and we needed to repack one of the boxes, but the employee was very nice and patient and also went very thoroughly through the different shipping options and arrival times. I had a very smooth experience here

The driver pulled up to my house with the sorry we missed you sticker ready in his hand, he didnt ring the doorbell and ran to his truck and took off before u could get to the door. I called FedEx to request pick up for the following day, I get here and my package is out for delivery. Amazing service as always.

Took off from work to wait for an important package today. I put a large sign on the door for FedEx to ring the doorbell but of course they lied and said they came and that no one was home. Route 428 on July 20 just do your job, I wont put your name out there but horrible work ethic. By the way you didnt even leave a tag stating that you had come.

OMG!! This place is HUGE! I had to pick up a package that their FedEx drivers claim they had tried to deliver to me with no success. And because this package was one Id been waiting for for quite some time, I took the drive out there to pick it up before it was to be returned to the sender. But when going in, be prepared to go through metal detectors and screening. I felt like I was at OHare airport! So be prepared when visiting this facility and pack your patience too.

Im waiting to have a very important document to be delivered, stood diligently next to my buzzer, which never went off, only to go downstairs to find that your delivery guy didnt even bother to buzz my apartment and left an attempted delivery sticker there. Pretty terrible service when your one job is to literally deliver a package. You guys are a joke.

Poor service. The young lady at the counter seemed like she didnt want to. E there working for FEDEX. She was rude and not helpful.

Stores have nothing to with bad drivers. This place is usually quiet and fast to be in and out. Its simply a drop center so you wont find many services, but for dropping off packages, especially prepaid, this is a great place. Its much better than going to busy locations in shopping plazas.

Polish lady that works here is super awesome very friendly.

They were a little short staffed in the morning but the person behind the counter was able to manage everybody at the same time very effectively and the facility even noted my mistake on the address and still held my package at the facility as I had requested. Im very pleased with the customer service.

The automatic electric door is wonderful upon entering. Ups in Evanston does not have an automatic door. Super friendly crew.

Past 3years they never made any deliveries to my house. Today I was waiting at home and he left sticker and got a message from FEDEX app. No one was at home what they said. The Delivery man left FedEx sticker right next to my A4 size note about i am at home and please buzz my bell And I have no reason to go picking up my package in different city. Every single time, I always have to check is this FEDEX Ground or Express. this place is worst. True nightmare.

2 signs on my door saying delivery was attempted for signature required delivery. First time, they rang bell but didnt wait for me to open door. Second time I was at work. The notice says I must pick it up at 3747 W. Howard. It will take me 2 buses and half a day to do this. Since I am not expecting anything, I dont know if I will be able to carry it back on 2 buses and a long walk. Fed Ex is quite expensive. One would expe t much better service. All those who say they love the service at this location might ask the recipient what kind of delivery service they got. OR PERHAPS IT IS JUST THE LAZY, CARELESS DRIVERS FRIM THIS LOCATION. I may never get the item.

Awesome service and easy to work with. Probably the most reliable branch in the area for Skokie. I go out of my way to drive here to ship all my stuff. Because I know it will be done right the first time.

Shipped a package from here they lost it at one of there distribution center. When I attempted to get my money back for it they gave me the run around and lied they clearly stole my item and refuse to refund me. (It never left there distribution center they are thieves)

Clean and organized, thorough and professional with pleasant service. Theres only 1 person working there usually so wait time depends on your luck.

A lot faster than most places; the automatic sliding door makes it way easier to wheel packages in and out.

If FedEx leaves a note at someones home saying the package will be at the shop center between 4-7pm then it should actually be there at 4pm. If 4pm is an estimated time then let your customer know it’s an estimate.

Service is incredibly slow and condescending. Which might have passed for barely tolerable had they provided exceptional service but NOT when my reason for coming here was that THEY screwed up my delivery in the first place.

Great service not accurate timing when driver is going to come. But they are tjere when you are. Need to upgrade the track app to know where the person is located.

When matters what, when and how an item gets delivered I trust this main shipping center. They do not pack it for you, unlike a local FedEx store or Kinkos, but If its too late for next day locally then I know I can come here because its open later. Not the most convenient location, Howard Ave is one slow lane either way. Small parking lot. It does seem like they get slow sometimes but I notice its when Im in a hurry or the customer in front of me seems clueless, so its my issue. I have to separate the center from the guy who delivers and does not ring the bell so I know a package arrived. Packages arrive on time, undamaged most of the time (Upstate NY has issues with ground drivers). FedEx listens, cant say the same for others.

I WAS HOME!The delivery person did not bother to ring the buzzer and left a Door Tag informing me that For a successful delivery I must Be present for delivery.Excuse me!? Do you expect me to wait on the doorstep between your hours of operation?Not only has this happened MULTIPLE times, but each time I had specifically paid EXTRA for rush delivery.To say that I am livid is an understatement. If they can go through the trouble of getting out of the van and putting a sticker on my door, you would THINK it wouldnt be too much for them to RING A DOORBELL!

I cant believe how lazy these delivery drivers are. I was home for two days in a row when they attempted to deliver my package, a very expensive package mind you. They didnt bother to leave a door tag. I called and they said the driver rang the bell and even knocked. I highly doubt that seeing as I was in the front room all morning when said attempt happened. Sure my street was blocked off because of a festival but I live 4 houses from the corner. I guess they couldnt be bothered to walk. I will surely avoid using fedex in the future and would also tell people to avoid them.
