It is unfortunate that I have hired this moving company to move me (3) times within the last six months, and each delivery I received damage or missing items in each delivery. I recommend getting full coverage if you do, because they DO NOT care. I will submit a claim, but sadly I know I will never be get back the full value of my items as their system only gives you back a small percentage per unit. I tried explaining the situation to management, and they truly do not care. Poor poor customer service. I move every year, and this company has definitely lost my business.Lost: Bed frame slacks, coffee table legs, unique table screws etc. Now my bed sits on the floor, and I have no vanity or coffee table. My advice: pay for full replacement coverage (option 1 on the interstate bill of lading contract - valuation addendum) and/or get third-party coverage. The movers will come with the paperwork pre-filled (option 2, which waives coverage, was already checked on my form).

The experience was really smooth and easy. I worked with Martin for a cross country move, he was super responsive and accommodating. My stuff had to picked from a storage unit and the coordination was seamless. The item delivery was a lot earlier than expected as well. All in all great experience and would recommend them and use them again.

These guys are the best. If you want to work with authentic people who arent looking to nickel and dime you at every corner, this is the company. Nick in the office was great, walked me through the process, and his pricing was straight forward. Significantly less than a lot of the bigger companies (watch out for the add on prices, like $500 + for official Peloton movers, its not a car) and competitive with some of the smaller shops that compete on price. The huge difference was the day of the move. Id tried to self pack most of the property but fell far short. Their team was reactive, understanding, and the price increase was more than fair. I was shocked. Then to top it off, they got our stuff from Chicago to San Diego quicker than expected! Three days for a four bedroom house! This is the perfect sweet spot of a moving company. Big enough to be professional, reputable, and trustworthy but small enough for you to feel like they are family. I give them my highest recommendation.

Long distance moving experience!1. Picking up team is very prompt and professional2. Delivery is within the time window3. Custom service team follows through the whole process, great with providing update4. I did have a broken floor lamp at delivery. I was referred to STI contracted insurance company. The process is not difficult though take some time. And STI refunded me more than the weight based amount from their good will!In general, working with STI even for long distance is with minimal anxiety. I highly recommend them!

STI Movers are absolutely fantastic! I recently had a last minute move from Chicago to Dallas and had initially booked through a different company that cancelled the DAY OF my scheduled move. I was completely panicked as I had a tight window and was lucky enough to remember and reach out to STI from my initial search. They were absolutely incredible and took all my worries away. From the moment I spoke to Max he assured me they would handle everything and found an opening the very next day for a more than fair price. Adding to my wife’s review Natalie: We have had many damaged or missing items, and it keeps adding up as we settle into our new place.I finally got the time to assemble and turn on my (t.v) today from last weeks move, and it was obviously hit during the process (photos attached - left side). It was hit, and damaged internally. After turning it on a few times, it completely died ($2,000 value). Now, we also have to buy a new t.v. This company has lost us so much money. Horrible experience - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Initially I was using a different moving company, who were incredibly unprofessional and cancelled my move less than 24 hours from pick-up time. AMAZING MOVERS!!! Moving is such a stressful experience and worrying about the movers you hire just adds to the strife. NOT THIS MOVE! I have moved 18 times in 25 years and STI was hands-down the BEST. I had a move from a four bedroom house to a one bedroom apartment in addition to a storage unit at another location. Even with the two locations and a malfunctioning elevator in my new place, Luis and his team had me done in less than six hours. Each of them worked so hard - barely stopping to breathe much less take a break. They were friendly and didn’t break or scratch a thing. Thank you, STI! What could have been one of the worst days of 2021, you turned into a seamless process.

Working with STI Moving & Storage has been very satisfying. Our moving coordinator Adi was extremely responsive to changes with our inventory estimates and answered the many question we had. On the packing side, Renes crew (Colin, Javier, and Ben) arrived on time and were very courteous. We were amazed by their efficiency. Over all, the moving process on the shipping side has been stress-free. I hope the delivery side goes as smoothly.

These guys were very unprofessional and rude. They showed up in a bad mood and were short tempered. They had a hard time following simple instructions. They made lots of scratches and dents on our belongings. They were unwilling to assemble our treadmill, exercise bike and bikes which were disassembled. The guy said I dont fix these things like I dont mop your floor. After a very unpleasant exchange of words, they finally assembled the treadmill, exercise bike and bikes. It was a big unpleasant day dealing with the guys that showed up and their customer service.

Ive used STI Moving for two in town Chicago moves. Both moves have been efficient with the crews arriving promptly in the morning and completing within the estimated time. The crews made sure to treat my items with care and respect, especially anything labeled fragile included my partners record collection. I appreciated the confirmation calls the day before with the time to expect the movers, as well as the phone call from the crew chief when the truck was en route. Please listen to what I am saying. I have stated in every one of my emails that I should have been told in advance that your company does not move pianos up more than a few stairs, as confirmed by your driver and that point has never been acknowledged. You will tell your next victim the same thing when they ask.A piano mover uses a grand piano skid. I see the roadies move them up and down all the time.This has nothing to do with taking a window out and renting a crane or any of the other incomprehensible comments Sasha made in broken English. What a dope! The stairs are plenty wide and the turn at the top will not be a problem for whomever I hire to bring it up thirteen stairs from the basement and then the thirteen stairs you were supposed to traverse.I will contact the Better Business Bureau and leave a bad review, although I am certain that means nothing to you. I will be sure to let my real estate agent know what a bad experience I had, too.

This is the absolute worst experience ever. Zero stars. DO NOT waste your time and money on these people. Took them 36 days to move my stuff, then when they showed up, they didnt have all my stuff, including my $3000 mattress. To top it off they charged extra because I missed their phone call. Completely unprofessional, pathetic customer service. I wouldnt let them move my stuff again for free.

Excellent. STI handled my move from Illinois to California. Furniture disassembly and assembly was quick. I was easily able to get the status of my move with a phone call without waiting. Pickup was and delivery was fast and professional, they come with moving supplies to quickly wrap up packing. . Total price of move was ~$2700 which was a little over what I was quoted(~$2400) since they were some additional charges at pickup and delivery, but I would say they are all fair charges (moving supplies, shuttle service, walking distance over 150ft). Shoutout to Wilberto and Walter.

We had initially rated this as a 5 star service - this was due to the fact that prior to unboxing, the foreman stood over my shoulder ensuring/writing from my phone the 5-star review. Being that I was at the end location while my boyfriend was at the start, I was under the impression everything was up to code. Once we began unpacking, we saw all of our items, fragile, electronic, or otherwise were thrown into boxes with no rhyme or reason or care for their end condition.We had over estimated the amount of packing and when they saw there were less items, they took more time than necessary to haphazardly throw all of our things into boxes (including empty beer bottles surrounded in packing tape, taking up a third of a full size bankers box)I left a $300 tip, thinking everything was great. As we pull our items out of boxes, I am regretting this greatly. Nothing is packed as it should be, we cannot find half of our things, and we won’t know the full extent until we are finished but we are not pleased.

Our top priority for our out-of-state move was to protect our furnishings at a reasonable cost. Weve had several out-of-state and overseas moves with different movers, and STI was easily the best. Everyone was pleasant and professional, including the owner who came to the house for estimates, Kate, our very helpful liaison, the packing and loading crew, and drivers Roberto and Miguel. A number of items were crated and expertly handled from beginning to end. The only damage was very minor, for which we were quickly reimbursed. If we move again, wed choose STI.

I gave him a list of items that needed to moved and got a pretty accurate estimate.All my things were packages and ready to go, just needed the furnitures to be wrapped up.Oscar and his crew came early on the moving day, looked around the house and immediately started to move. This moving has zero morals or ethics. It does not stand by what it says. They moved half my home & said they were called to a different job because they couldnt spend more than 8hrs on one job (which made no sense) & that they would be back on Monday or Tuesday morning to finish job. They didnt put furniture back together or up. They broke an antique dresser thats going to cost me to be fixed. I offered them cold coca cola to drink they took it but then asked my son for a beer. My mom was taking her vitamins with energy & the minute she opened bottle they all had there hands out. There were 3 of them from what I seen & I was promised 4. They brought 1 truck when I was told after hearing the size of the move it wb 2. They loaded quickly but then took like 2 1/2 to 3 hours to unload..kept putting things in wrong rooms even though everything was marked & my husband was there to tell them were furniture & then as soon as my husband would turn his back theyd have things in wrong rooms & have to re move them. This was to date our worst move ever!! I got movers to make this a very easy move as my 78 yr old mother & handicapped sister were moving with us. When I called to see when they were coming back she said they werent obligated to.. its up to movers what they choose to move or not & if they were to come back it would cost me the original quote all over again & it wb like 3wks after our move date. My husband & my self & my son & handicapped sister & 78yr old mother had to rent a truck & move the rest of our stuff which took us over 12 hrs. They had the worst customer service Ive ever experienced..didnt care at all about not finishing job or breaking things or drinking on job or anything or try to resolve any of our problems we experienced with there company. They were actually rude about it. Originally they said that these movers would also help pack if we needed & then they said they dont do that. This move turned into one if hardest moves of our lives. When my parents moved here from AZ. There were 2 guys from Rat Pack storage that came..they were terrific. With only 2 guys they moved very heavy furniture 2 flights up..put things together..were extremely professional I had only wished I could booked them.. unfortunately I didnt have there information. This is an awful awful company. The worst Ive ever had to deal with. Dont hire them whatever u do..youll be disappointed!!
