I bought a dog safety vest four years ago. It remains in great shape, the Velcro is as strong as it was on day one, and I’ve not needed to make any stitching repairs. Some of my dog training clients purchased no fly zone items for themselves and were very pleased, which encouraged me pick up a no fly zone hat at the local feed store. Bright and effective!! The bandanas have been a life saver as far as ticks. We were pulling 30 off a day and now will see one occasionally. I bought the gators, hat and vest for myself and it has helped tremendously and now can still enjoy my walks in the woods. Thank you for this wonderful product!

Well, step mother in law brought home a brochure, I was interested, tried to find the site with product I could buy.... you would think down at the bottom, hard to find, that the word catalog would have what Im looking for?.... nope. I bought Dog Not Gone tick repelling gaiters last spring. They work great! I wear them every time I go hiking and they protect me quite well. Highly recommend them.

I just purchased your extra large hunter orange dog vest and was so surprised it fit my English Mastiff, so I went and purchased 2 more for my other 2 Mastiffs. I was so amazed that I was able to find a vest that fit my super sized breed. I was also excited to learn that the company was located in Maine and also produced in the U.S.A. Thanks for making something super sized but also thanks for keeping the production in the U.S.A. I am definitely going to spread the word about your product.

I purchased the No Fly Zone Gators for myself and my landscape crew this spring. I have only pulled 1 tick off since I started wearing them (compared to 1-3 daily last year). They really do work! I just leave them by my boots so I remember to put them on each morning, tucking them up my legs under my work pants - they are light and breathable so I dont even remember I am wearing them. I highly recommend these for those that are outdoors!

I love the Dog Not Gone products!!! They work extremely well. My dog has not had even 1 flea on her. She has had a few ticks, but no one flea!!!! I love that I do not have to put any other chemicals on her, and she does not have to ingest anything, to control fleas!!!Thank you for inventing these wonderful products! !

I purchased a pair of both men’s and women’s gaters for my husband and myself a couple of months ago. We spend much of our free time outdoors in our woodsy neighborhood walking the dog, hiking and doing yard work. The gaters have been great! Such can easy way to repel ticks and so nice to not have to use a chemical spray!

Fabulous product. Atticus wears the kerchief at home and the jacket for hikes into the woods. Ticks have all but gone, finding only ONE with the kerchief since our purchase in April - NO ticks at all when wearing the jacket. With a camouflage Vizlsa - the orange is also so easy to find from a distance. Brilliant product ~ highly recommended. Many thanks to you all at Dog Not Gone. Might you consider making a Fly Mask for horses?

The product did not fit my dog. However the customer service and instant response from Julie to resolve the issue was more than i expected or could ask for. Their product is great. But their customer service is all you need for a reason to deal with this company.

My cat who has been leash trained loves to sit outside connected to a 30 foot lead so she can canvas her estate in the woods of Western Maine. Solutions to protect her from Ticks has been difficult as Cats groom themselves and any product put on them directly is likely harmful. (especially if its effective). I have purchased other cat jacket type harnesses and treated them with with a spray on product, that once dried is supposedly safe. It had to be done every few weeks. I called about this dog vest and found that they had not sold it before for cats. So, I ordered the size appropriate for the weight/ dimensions of my Maine Coon cat and from the first time I put it on her I realized I had found something FANTASTIC!!!!..or should I say fantas-tick? The fit under the chin is narrow enough that it allows full head movement. The belly closure is not so wide that it interferes with her front legs. Putting it on and removing it is so easy..... other vests have had so much velcro the cat fur is caught and pulls then builds up on the velcro. For my long haired cat this vest does not cause that problem. These are all great, but the fact that the chemical is embedded in the fabric and lasts so very long means I am not having to reapply, and the ticks are done in! The reflective strip is just a bonus. I leave the vest on her for an hour after she comes in just in case any ticks are still crawling elsewhere and havent touched the vest yet. If she is likely to go back out again I just leave it on until the last exploration. She sleeps on my bed and I have had Lyme Disease so I am extremely careful. She really doesnt mind the vest at all, but from the time she was a kitten I had put harnesses or vests on her to train her to walk on a leash, so if you would be doing any similar restraint for the first time dont expect full cooperation and acceptance. A couple of times she got out without it and when she returned I put it on her and tied her out as a precaution to kill any hitchhikers. If you do give this a try I suggest writing your phone number on the visible side and any other information you wish on the underside just in case. As a last comment....I like how visible it makes her otherwise brown perfectly camouflaged coat.Kineo says to thank you as well, because she gets to be out more frequently and has had not one tick attach that has caused us both considerable stress while trying to remove it. There have been ticks on the lip, eyelid, ear, and armpit before and now we are both tick led......Thanks, Tris & Kineo

I have used the Gaiters and the Hat. I was in a well known tick zone and had no ticks on my pants or my shoes. I was with other people that were complaining about the ticks. Also the hat - no mosquitos or ticks and I have long hair - it was great to not have to shower myself with Deet.

This is a great company that makes good products and has tremendous customer service.
