I was in the market for an F-150 with most of the bells and whistles. I walked into Five Star Ford and was greeted by Justin Johnson. We sat down and got to work on finding a truck that fit my budget. My budget was not ideal for the type of truck I desired. Justin allowed me to test drive a couple of trucks but it became apparent that they were ultimately out of my price range. I left that day unsatisfied. Most dealers would realize they have lost a sale and focus elsewhere but Justin never gave up. Throughout the weeks (2 Weeks) he continued to text me when he found a vehicle that might fit my budget. He emailed me a video of a Ford F-150 that had just arrived, the truck wasnt even in the system yet! He video recorded himself in and around the vehicle to show the specs. I was immediately interested. Came back to the dealership two days later. He was with another customer so, in an effort to not have me waiting, he had another salesman (Jacob) get started on a test drive and paperwork. Jacob was equally accommodating. The numbers on the vehicle were within my budget (at the very top). I ended up driving out with a Ford F-150 King Ranch! Thanks Justin!
This is my third time buying a car with this dealership, and my experience is always top tier. My latest experience this week was nothing short of outstanding. I made an inquiry about a few vehicles online and my sales rep Justin Johnson was very prompt in responding to my emails and listening to my car buying needs and financing concerns. I walked into the dealership at noon on Thursday, did a test drive, financing and paperwork, and was driving home in my brand new 2021 Ford Escape in under two hours. It was a very seamless process and everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Justin and the entire Five Star team for all your car buying needs.
I purchased a Nissan Sentra 2017 and I love this car so much Rodney Chrisp and the Five Star Ford made my visit very welcoming and helpful. I Enjoyed it very much . This is a great company, I had not problems at all. Rodney was a great help, making sure I understood everything and was completely comfortable with the car and paper work . I highly recommend this company.
May 2021: We dropped off a Ford Focus for an air conditioning repair as well as a new gasket and oil leak on a Tuesday. We were told the car might be ready by that Friday, but more likely Monday. Monday came and went and we werent contacted about the status of the vehicle at all. After a few voice messages and emails to no avail, we finally received a call from a maintenance manager late the following week, letting us know the car should be ready by that Friday. Once again, without any replies or updates, the day came and went. The following week, we called and emailed multiple times and did not get a response. We were eventually told the car would be ready by the end of the week, and again, the day came and went with no update. The following Tuesday, 3 weeks after what was originally quoted as a 3-4 day job, the service rep called to let us know that the car was ready to pick up and ask how we preferred to pay.We picked up the car and notices the hood was left open, and the wiper fluid cap had been left off, as well as an AUX cable cover missing from the dashboard. The next morning, after driving a mile or two, the car showed a very high temperature and was overheating badly. So, I took it back in. I was told that it was a completely different issue causing the overheating and had nothing to do with the fact that theyd been working on the car for 3 weeks and this had never happened before. At my wits end, I spoke with the shop manager, a very nice guy, who had the new issue fixed within a couple of days. This might have been a different review had our expectations for when the car would be ready been even in the ballpark of accurate, or if wed been given a courtesy message of what was going on with the delay, or even the offer of a loaner vehicle while we went weeks without ours. None of that happened. The repairs do seem to have been made, at long last, and at a price that beat the estimate of a competitor, although I might have paid a little more for less trouble. We are in the market for a new SUV, and were strongly considering the Bronco Sport, but after this experience, I find I am reevaluating what brand to go with.
My mother in law B. Bailey, my husband and I, bout a 2021 Ford F-150 and 2021 Mustang this past Saturday. I highly HIGHLY recommend Justin Johnson. We have been dealing with him for our previous Eco Sport and the 2 current cars that we bought. This guy jumps through hoops of fire for his customers for sure! The whole staff there is so friendly and dedicated as well! Thanks to our finance guy who made magic happen last weekend. We love you guys!
Willie and the rest of the Five Star family made my experience FANTASTIC! Everything was done in a timely and very professional manner. Willie answered questions and was very knowledgeable. He made the experience feel personable and not like a disconnected business transaction. I highly recommend asking for Willie if you find yourself in the market to buy a vehicle.
I purchased a 2020 explorer two days ago from five star Ford . Micheal Allen had the explorer waiting out front . We drove from Alabama to look at this vehicle. It was the best buying experience I’ve had with dealerships . Definitely would recommend Micheal Allen he had everything done within an hour and 30 mins . Which helps a lot with a having a 1 year old with you. While trying to get paperwork signed .
You all were great.!Thanks for working with me to be able to get my car repaired by Five Star Ford. I brought it in for a cranking issue. While my car was there for repairs, I was also able to get my recall done regarding my brake fluid.Hunter Klein and Josh were the most respectful, caring, helpful and pleasant people to work with!Thank my mechanic as well.. I appreciate all his hard work..
This Place should be called One Star Ford. Initially, when the I bought the vehicle from here, everything was excellent. The last year, this place has gone to the garbage. Every single time I schedule a service appointment, they tell me it will still be a 3 to 4 hour wait. Every single time for the last 4 service appointments, this has happened. What is the point of having a service appointment if it will be the same amount of time walking in? The service advisor named John was excellent, however even he was overwhelmed at what upper management is doing in service department. This is no longer the excellent Ford dealership it once used to be in town. Look elsewhere, no one here cares about anything.
Sean is an above and beyond salesman in every aspect of my experience. To start I called and asked him to make a detailed video of a used car and asked him to point out any imperfections in the paint. He was very transparent with everything inside and outside of this car.Sean drove his personal vehicle and came in 2 hours early to pick me up from the airport that was 45 minutes away. Sean offered to pick me up without hesitation. Sean made grate conversation on the 45 minute drive and offered several time to get food or drinks to ensure I was taken care of. He helped ensure the process of the paperwork was fast and stress free.If you are looking for a great car buying experience that you don’t feel pressured from call Sean.
They are the best, I used the doc sign method online and made all arrangements. When my son Josh got there Justin the salesman had the vehicle all ready and within a short time was back on the road to Tennessee! Trucks are hard to find but be careful we recently had a bad experience with a Ford dealer in Tampa Florida. Stone Mtn is a smaller dealership but will take care of you!
Stop ripping people off. Dealership are a joke and not economically sound for people. Its ridiculous. They charge $200 per hour in labor and say it takes 4 hours to do a job that probably takes about an hour. That’s charging me $800 to put on a $78 part. Its a known truth and cars are built for the greedy. Its sad for employees such as Brandi. She have to be the one who deals with the public and its out of her control. She just work there and can be a good person that need their job.m. In order to keep her job she have to be numb to it and not take it personal and dont get attached to public and move on with her life. She will eventually get tired of being apart of a company that rips people off with extreme cost. Start telling customers the labor cost up front so they can decide if they want to move forward.
I had an appointment for service at 9 am. I was told they were able to get to me as early as 7:30. When I arrived they told me to leave the truck and they would be about a week to get to it. No mention when I made the appointment of the backlog.
**Please read all the bad service reviews before you use this company. This is indeed how they operate. Unfortunately, my experience is very very normal for 5 Star Ford!!**Super unhappy. Dropped off my Edge 2 days ago. Still havent heard what is wrong with it. Other mechanic said it was a warranty issue, and now Im stuck waiting on this dealer. Do they provide a rental? NO! Therefore they have no reason to care how long it takes.Edited to add: 48 hours for a diagnosis that the engine is being replaced under warranty. Why am I having to pay for a rental on a warranty issue? Its not my fault the engine design is bad. Warranty issue means the manufacturer takes responsibility for the repair. Doesnt that mean the customer is made whole, which includes the cost of a rental car?Edited to add: Ive contacted Jon by email as he suggested in his comment. 2 days later, I havent heard a word from him.Edited to add: I was contacted by Jon. I was told the best he could do is $35 a day for a max of 10 days. Thats not even half the cost of a rental for a small economy car in July. Seriously, thats the best you can do? And that was getting Ford to reimburse me, not the dealership. Basically, the dealership will NOT take responsibility for a rental if you need warranty work. Ill update IF I get reimbursed anything at all. Do NOT count on this dealership.
Thanks to Five Star Ford Stone Mountain, my 2008 Ford Edge continues to drive like its new! Their competitive pricing in the Service Center help me afford to take advantage of getting authentic Ford parts & expert technicians. I bring my Edge here for ALL maintenance, tires, and the very few repairs needed over the life of my car. The service is CONSISTANTLY fantastic- personalized, efficient, and friendly with great communication. They are really good about letting me know about upcoming maintenance allowing me to plan. I always drive away feeling confident my car is in excellent condition. Also I never have to worry about getting home or back to my car before/ after servicing thanks to their shuttle service. Thank you, Cedric J., for providing me with another great experience with Five star Ford Stone Mountain!
Do not bring your car into the service department if youre in need of a timely repair, ESPECIALLY if its a recall!! They will not provide you with a loaner vehicle and take their sweet time (over 5 days) to even begin to work on your vehicle since is isnt a priority to the service sales people. Ive called and asked to speak to a service manager twice but they just said he would call me back... The manager never called back and instead they just avoided the telephone until close of business Saturday afternoon. What a shady way to do business and definitely not a place I would recommend to anyone !
I went to get my car serviced and Hunter was amazing! He really made me feel better about the possible wait and in the end it wasn’t bad at all! Hunger made sure I was fully taken care of for this visit and let me know what I will need for my next visit so I’m prepared. I’ll definitely be coming back!
They were very anxious to sell my husband a used truck out the door for 60k but when he got it home I looked through it and found that the electric sliding back window had a piece of wood shimmied in it to keep it closed! The two back tires were missing the Ford center cap, the bumper was damaged along with some minor issues. My husband gave them 15k out of a 20k down payment. They wanted the other 5 K immediately, I said I would pay it after the truck was correctly fixed. We were told that if we were going to keep the rest of the down payment hostage, we need to return the truck so they could sell it to someone else.I paid the rest of the down payment with the promise from them that we will get excellent service and all of the issues would be fixed! Two weeks later my husband was told to be there this morning to have all of the issues fixed, the part for the window had come in.We live an hour and a half from the dealership, he took off work which is not easy for him on a Monday! After arriving at 8:30, he sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes before the truck was taken to the shop then an hour and a half later was told that the service guy that’s going to fix the window doesn’t come in until 1.And to top that off, the bumper and wheel caps have to be ordered so he’ll have to come back again! They don’t have courtesy cars to lend and said nothing accept they were sorry for the inconvenience but at least the window will be fixed. The service department needs a better understanding of how to treat clients as they would themselves like to be treated!Get your ducks in a row before you promise something to someone that has not been verified and confirmed!!My husband is still sitting there in the waiting area!I am very dissatisfied with our service at this dealership!!People’s time is valuable and should be treated as such!!!
The team at Five Star Ford made the purchase of my car the most pleasurable experience in my 30 years of purchasing vehicles. Justin Johnson (salesperson) and Michael Haywood (manager) were friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the purchase of my vehicle. There was a no pressure approach which was very refreshing. Justin and Michael were amazing at answering all my questions with patience and care. Justin provided me with a video of the car within minutes of calling. I never experience such care, thoughtfulness, and professionalism when purchasing a vehicle. I highly recommend the team at Five Star Ford. The name says it all!! Thank you Justin and Michael, it was such a pleasure working with you both.
SECOND UPDATE:The service I received at 5 Star Ford was far above what I’ve received at any dealership in a long time. Google would not let me do a second review based on the actual service visit. For that service visit I’d give the dealership a 4.5 (only because I had to make multiple visits to resolve some issues) Thank you Jon and Brandi for all your help, answering questions, and keeping me up to date on the progress. These two would definitely get 5 Stars from me if I could do an additional review.UPDATED: After posting my honest and sincere review I got the response below.Since then I have emailed back and forth and received the info I was requesting. I really appreciate that and after the treatment from another popular dealer in the area I am considering giving 5 Star a try. It just makes me sad that it’s hard to trust any auto repair place anymore. I upped my review to 3 stars which is my usual starting point and I prefer upping the stars than taking away. Still waiting to see how this one plays out.I just wanted to update my original review because they did reach out to me after my original post. (Others have not done that or have shared my info without my permission)If I do in fact take my car to 5 Star Ford, I will then give that review separately but will do a quick update here too. (My goal is to be fair in my reviews as much as I want to be treated fairly and with respect from the dealership)I do wish they could explain all the secrecy that prompted my original review in the first place, but I guess some things we will never know.ORIGINAL POST STARTS HERE:How can I trust a dealership that will not give me the email address of the service director. I had a list of services I might need on my vehicle and trying to find a dealership I can trust.Considering the online chat person will not give out any info, but continued to ask for my personal info was the first turn off. Then when calling the dealership I was told I would have to call back and they would not give me an email address either.I have a list of things I want to address and an email assures I get all the questions answered but since this dealership is so secretive, I have trust issues with that.I will look for a different dealership that doesn’t seem to be so secretive. I’d say beware of any dealership that won’t communicate by email. I suppose they are trying to avoid a paper trail so they can answer questions based on how they see you as a person. Just feels shady in some way.
Came in for an oil change where I had an appointment at 10:30. Convinced to get 30k workup and told time was 2 hrs. My vehicle wasnt done until after 3. This is ridiculous and I will never come back to this location. They need staff, new mgmt, and a STOP LYING TO THE CUSTOMER!!
A special thank you to Frankie Mercardante for being THE best salesperson I’ve ever had when buying a vehicle. Friendliest and easiest buying process I’ve ever experienced. Thank you, and the rest of the team at Five Star Ford for your great service!
I would buy another car from Michael, the Sales Manager wherever he sold cars, except five star. He and Mark did an outstanding job, even finance was good to work with. However, the service department has completely forgotten what it means to provide any semblance of Customer Service. I last visited in December to have my new car serviced and have been patiently waiting for a call so that they may fix a recall on my car. I have heard absolutely nothing. When I was there in December, I described other issues with my car that needed to be addressed only to be told there was nothing they could do for it. Once i returned to pick up my car from the oil change, the service manger, who had not been kind, told me he researched one of the issues and in fact there was a repair for it. They told me they would call me when they could provide a loaner, that they only had 7 available, in the height of the pandemic i could wait my turner. I supposed the waiting list was extremely long as I am still waiting for the recall and the other issues to be repaired, I will NEVER recommend this dealer to anyone. I will, again, recommend Michael and Mark, but only if they work for another dealer. It is sad that a company such has Ford appears to have lost sight of whats most important, their customers. I even provided a stellar review for my service tech in hopes that would help change the way things had been going. But once that had been done, and I followed up to find out when my car would be fixed, even he had forgotten to be kind. Customer service is the single most important quality to ensure customers return, clearly Five Star Ford service department has forgotten this. Ford, please do better for the next customer!
Wahid Khaleqdad was amazing. He helped us through the entire process. We love our truck. Thanks for your service and hospitality!!
My 2020 Explorer has been at Five Star Ford with an oil leak for almost five days and I have not received an update on its service. I had to call on Saturday to get new information about my car. Unfortunately, I was told that they wont have a diagnostic until Oct. 8th. I tried calling twice today, but the line was busy. The employees in the service center are kind; they just seem really overworked. Their shop is also very behind.
Drove over 3 hours to check out a used car. Granted, this is a Ford dealership with many nice Fords, but I came for a Chevy! Handled 90% of the transaction over the phone and the other 10% went a smooth as silk. So excited to get my new car ( new to me ), I left my garage opener in my old car. Mike was nice enough to mail it to me saving me the purchase of a new one. Very happy with our purchase!
We were recommended to five star by a family member. Specifically we were recommended to salesman, Michael T. Allen Jr. Mike helped 5 members of my family get new cars within the last 6 months (5 different cars).Mike helped my husband and I purchase a white lifted 2020 F-150 4x4. It is an awesome truck!! And came with a 6in lift and all terrain tires!! Mike was responsive, easy to talk to, and took the time to work with us trading in our old truck. He showed excellent customer service throughout our experience.Highly recommend Five Star Ford in Stone Mountain.
Jacob did an amazing job! Help me get the truck I wanted and great customer service! When you come to Five Ford ask for Jacob!
I want to tell about my experience at FIVE STAR FORD STONE MOUNTAIN with Service Man Dustin Acklin. I came in for service on my 2020 Ford F-150 about a steering problem . He explained to me how I needed to leave my truck for 3 to 5 days and other points of interest. Well I live over 60 miles from FIVE STAR FORD one way and just could not do that. Then asked him if he could go for a test ride to let him see what was happening. Afterwards he got into the truck and I drove away. Upon riding a short trip he ask me to let the steering wheel go while we were riding in a curve and he saw the steering trying to correct it self and a few minutes later told me my steering assist was on. Plus showed me how to turn it on or off. And that cleared all my problems about the steering, saving me a hole lot of time and money. With this act alone I thought it highly necessary to commend this Service Man for a job well do, along with kindness, friendliness, care and concern for me a customer. Yes I did purchase my 2020 FORD F-150 at FIVE STAR FORD October 2020 of which I enjoy so very very much.
Great experience my sales person was Mark Ridolfi he was very knowledgeable and professional. I went in to buy a vehicle I was in and out financed and drove off there yard all within 2 hours the whole team worked together and was a overall great experience no games unlike some dealers they were very professional and listened what I wanted and made it happen. When finishing up the deal the finance guy worked with me to make sure I got what I wanted on extended warranty coverage and payment terms and explained everything to me. I will definitely go back to this dealer when I need another vehicle. The next day Mark called me as I ordered some equipment with the sale that they were going to have to order he wanted to make sure I knew when it would be in and has already scheduled my truck in to have it installed. Im hoping the install of the ordered equipment goes as smooth as everything else did as I must have truck back to go out of town I have faith all will go as planed thanks Mark and Five Star for everything.
Five Star Ford has always treated me like I was the most important person to walk into the showroom. Thats why Ive been a return customer three times! And thats why Ill always come back again and recommend to my friends and family. My salesperson, Michael Allen is the best! Hands down! At the end of the day, I got my new dream car, a 2021 gorgeous Mach 1 in fighter jet grey, for the price I wanted. Its just different at Five Star, no pressure and they treat folks right. Its always been the best experience and three times, Ive driven out with biggest smile!
Wonderful experience at this Ford store. Mike B and the sales manager Mike were great to deal with. They stood open late just for us coming over a hour away. Put very good numbers in my trade and a heck of a discount on the new F250. Buying and financing experience was done in 30 minutes. Definitely the easiest, fastest and greatest time buying a new car. Thanks guys!
Brought my Ford fiesta here to be repaired in the body shop after the car had been side swiped by another car on the interstate. The car was fixed in just under 2 weeks which I was surprised by especially with it being the week of Christmas....we had rental car that the at fault parties insurance covered which had to be returned within one day after my car was fixed otherwise wed be charged. We get a call the night before Christmas eve ONE HOUR before they close saying our car is fixed and ready to be picked up. So knowing that its a holiday and they would be closed and we would be charged for the rental car if we didnt return it on time, we had to drop everything we were doing to go out in the pouring rain in the dark and pick up the car and return our rental car. When I dropped off the car TWO WEEKS earlier I asked if they would change the oil and rotate the tires while it was there since it was due for one and they said they would. When we got there to pick up the car, we were told that they were TOO BUSY during the TWO weeks that they had my car to get around to it.......so now we have a car past due its oil change and its time to go out of town to see family for the holidays. So frustrating. How dare they call me the night before a holiday to come pick up my car and not even have done a simple oil change that takes like 5 minutes to do when they had 2 weeks. How convenient theyd call me to come pick my car up in the dark because the next day when I actually got to look at the repairs they did in daylight I see they got white paint all over my tire. That definitely wasnt there before....so, today we finally brought the car back in to get the oil change were told wed be charged for the tire rotation. The other Fords always rotate them for FREE when they change the oil. I required State farm to fix my car AT A FORD dealership because I wanted it done properly. What a disappointment!
Brought my ford mustang in for 2 recalls. What I expected to be a 2-3 day job at the most turned into a horrible 5 day experience of phone tag with the folks that work here. After 5 days they only completed 1 recall on my vehicle, hopefully my ford focus doesnt blow up on me. I will either be paying my mechanic out of pocket to fix the issue or taking it to a more professional dealership to fix the remaining recall. What a disappointment and more importantly waste of my time as a first time and last time customer at this place.
I dont understand how this dealership is unable to deal with recall issues for their vehicles. I have spoken to every department from service to customer service. I have spoken to 10 different people over the span of a month. Someone in customer service finally figured out what they were supposed to do with my truck and told me to show up at the service center at 8am on Thursday (4 days in advance). I show up and not only do they not know what Im talking about for 20 minutes, but after being told to call another department through the automated main number while Im waiting there (for the 30th time), they finally figure it out and apparently the service department didnt call who they were supposed to and I have to leave and get the joy of coming back and experiencing this again. Guys, I have a job and this interupts my schedule as well as my husbands (as both of us have to rearrange work for this). Please, for my sanity, work on the communication between your departments or at least have a game plan for what to do with recalls. Its not like they are a surprise...especially since I have called in about this problem at the dealership for over a month now. They didnt even have any record of me in their computer system at all. Figure it out.
I worked with Jacob to find a pre-owned truck. He was super helpful, knowledgeable and honest. Five Star offered the best prices I found in the metro area. Very happy with them and would use again.
A wonderful easy experience for my first time buying a car all thanks to Wahid Khaleqdad. If I were to purchase again I would definitely come back again!
We bought a car from them Sunday. Worked on it for more than a week over email and text. At closing, They tried to go back on their promised deal after they had our trade. Suddenly it was only worth $1500 less than we agreed. We started to walk away and they backed off so we got our deal but it felt like a sleazy move. Count your fingers when you shake their hands.
Five Star Stone Mountain Ford and Jacob Jonson helped make finding and purchasing our new Ford Explorer easy. Five Star Stone Mountain Ford helped us shop for our Explorer from the comfort of our home since we have a new baby, and at the end of the day, all we had to do was go in for about an hour to look the Explorer over with Jacob Johnson and sign the paperwork. We were home with our new baby in no time! Thank you for making our experience car shopping an easy one!
Very good experience. Always great service from Tim Sykes. Brandi worked with me and was extremely helpful. BrandI went the extra mile even to getting my car back to me with help of a very pleasant porter. You all do an outstanding job.Wayne De Gray
My experience started off initially rough. My car brakes went out and it was recalled that that very thing would happen. So because the recall was new, the part was not being manufactured regularly. The dealership had no curtesy vehicles at all. So I was out of a car with no replacement. I worked with Dustin who went over and beyond to get the part for my vehicle. He was always so pleasant and kind. When he finally was able to get the part from another dealership it was fixed the same day! Dustin provided great customer care and was available when I needed to speak with him.
Rodney Chrisp was an amazing sells person he was very professional and knowledgeable with products and services I will definitely be back the whole team was amazing Rodney is the best ask for him when you come
Went in on Dec 30 purchased my 5ft vehicle purchased from them but this time they really dropped the ball. Sales Men its great but the detailing and the service on vehicle was not done.First left dealer right away light for low air on tires.Went back and they put air. Second opened hood when i got home and engine was so dirty that it was really disappointed. had to go back the next day to have it clean. Third opened hood again and found extra parts on engine. Sorry but this time i have to give 1 star .
I had a positive experience at this location, its been a while since I took my car to a actual dealership however I was pleased with the work done on my vehicle. As expected Im fully aware that prices cost more at a dealership but I have peace of mind knowing professional mechanics are working on my vehicle, the employees I dealt with were very professional and friendly.
April 1st: I recently purchased a used vehicle (Not From Five Star Ford) and brought the vehicle in for a “used car inspection” which simply means that’s they are going to do a full inspection from the Engine to the Transmission to the Electrical components. I paid exactly $297.10 for this service which wasn’t the issue . They gave me the inspection report and I thanked my adviser and took my list to my local mechanic because I just wanted a full diagnostics done before I invested more time and money into my vehicle. While at my mechanics office I hand him the list that Five Star Ford Provided me and he began double checking what they said was wrong with the vehicle. He was able to name common issues that could be easily seen (I’m no car person so I didn’t notice) but their technicians didn’t even say or write anything done. An example was the front rotors and pads but they labeled the rear rotors and pads. They also didn’t look at the Control Arms but labeled sway bars on the form I was provided. The control arms both need to be replaced as well as the ball joints this was also causing the tires to thin on the inside but their solution was new tires. Overall, from this my main point was I paid $300 for a diagnostics and they missed several things. Then on April 2nd I attempt to contact whoever the manager was at the moment to voice my concerns and I waited for over 20 minutes on the phone and didn’t have a response I was just put on hold. I called back in the afternoon and no one answered the phones. I left a message but wasn’t contacted. The Customer service from Hunter (Service Adviser) and Mr.Dave (Shuttle Driver) was phenomenal however the work done by the technician wasn’t!
Id like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Reggie Sullivan and the Five Star ⭐Ford Family for going as beyond ensuring I was 💯% satisfied. For all your automobile needs ITS FIVE STAR ⭐ FORD SNELLVILLE ❤️
Left them our truck in December. Didnt get it back until February. Charged us $1300 to fix a wire and for the 2 diagnostics test they did. Now the truck doesnt wanna start because something is draining the battery. Before we brought our truck in, it started perfectly fine. This is the reason why some people dont like to bring their cars to the dealership. But you want us to buy a vehicle from you!!
I always bring my truck here for servicing and I am always treated fair but this last time the service and kindness was impeccable. I am grateful to the team for the understanding and eager to help me repair my truck during this pandemic. I had a heavy mechanic repair and to my surprise of a franchise dealership they stepped in quickly to reduce pricing and helped me repair my vehicle. I am forever grateful for all the help especially with it being the month of Christmas and during a pandemic. Brandi you are an amazing technician and deserve more credit than any review I could ever post, it is because of your dedication to help others is the reason I come here. The general manager over the shop, he has done my family a great service! Thank you Karen for the follow up call to make sure all was well with my truck. You have earned my loyalty and a forever customer. Great job!!!!
Browsed online finding several trucks to see at this dealership. Met by Jacob Johnson who showed us several options and guided us professionally through the process. His knowledge of product and pleasant attitude helped us purchase a new vehicle with our requirements fulfilled. Good experience with knowledgeable sales staff. One of our best truck buying experiences to date. Thank you
Definitely not a five star experience at this 1 star dealership. Upon arriving I wasnt even acknowledged as a customer. Our service sales person Tatiana seemed either new or just poorly trained by Management in customer service. A meet and greet is standard in any customer service/sales industry.
I just purchased my new F-150 and had it lifted and aftermarket rims and tires put on it. All of this was taken care of BEFORE I purchased it by Jacob Johnson and Michael Haywood. This is the best experience that I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Michael and Jacob were easy to work with, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me out with this purchase. I live an hour and a half from the dealership but will definitely go there next time I am looking for a vehicle. Ive already recommended them to friends and family and its rare that I ever feel comfortable recommending anyone so kudos Jacob Johnson and Michael Haywood and thanks again for all of your hard work. It was a pleasure doing business with you and Five Star Ford!!!
Today I had my truck towed to five star Ford. It started out very pleasant, I spoke with the service operator, she was very nice and lacked real time knowledge of pricing and time frames. I get there after having to tow there and nothing matched her quotes. I was prepared to for that. But then I get there speaking with Cedric the service rep and this dude talking to me like he just did me a favor and as I am explaining he tells me that he will be off and my truck will sit until he returns to work, after his off day. As I start to explain I can’t wait two to three days just to be looked at and he tells me I can take it some where else. I hate when a man talks down to women,, then when checked or called out he get humble. It was so condescending and dismissive I dismissed me and my vehicle and left. Going to another Ford dealer tomorrow. It won’t change Cedric but I appreciate Hunter k. for his kind service and acting as if my business was important to Ford.If not for hunter k I would have given a 0.
I took my car in on a steering recall. The manager talked me into changing the spark plugs and my car is running rough and the check engine light is on.Im very disappointed in the service. Hopefully they will make this right this Saturday.Ill keep let everyone know.
Terrible Customer Service. Once you buy a vehicle you’ll never hear back from them. You need something? Forget about it they will never call you back. Mike Shey my salesman was supposed to provide a $50 Ford gift card based on the purchase, well that never happened. Still waiting two years later. Emailed several times and no response no action. No accountability no follow up for service.
STAY AWAY FROM SERVICE!I’ve visited many dealerships across the southeast and midwest while traveling on the road for work & this has been the worst dealership.Almost 5 hour wait for an 8am weekday appointment to diagnose a check engine light. I needed to see if warranty would cover it.The staff were awful at greeting customers and keeping me updated throughout the nearly 5 hour wait!!!!I DON’T recommend at all.
I decided to replace my loyal ‘08 F150 XLT for a new one and Michael Allen (Five Star Stone Mountain Sales Person) just got me the new one I was looking for. He is a very knowledgeable and professional salesman, courteous and friendly. He deserves five stars for the sales process as well as for the product. Now I drive a beautiful Lariat that performs awesome!
Worst service ever as usual! I used this dealership years ago and they tried to sell me a motor for a truck that another dealership repaired for $350.00. Since it had been a while I figured we would give them another shot since they are close by. This time was almost as bad. They kept my van for almost 3 weeks in the middle of summer. They kept feeding me lines about calling the hotline when they werent even working on it. We are an HVAC business so this was very difficult and costly in our busy season.I even approved the replacement of a light they had in stock for almost $700 and they didnt do that work either. I ended up towing it to Loganville Ford to get it fixed by real dealership. Josh and the rest of the service department are terrible. Save your money and go somewhere else!
I purchased and have continually had my 2018 F150 serviced at Five Star Ford Stone Mountain with overall exceptional service.I recently took in in for service as well as to have the Bluetooth repaired via warranty. Advisor told me that per procedure they have to reset the system before replacing it. This in turn made it worse. I was close enough that I took it back to let him know. AFTER I left he wanted me to bring it back in for 1/2 hour to an hour to get a number off the unit for order the replacement., This should have been done while they had it the first time since he also told me that 9/10 times they have to replace it. I have called and left voicemails, texted, and even spoken with someone in the office to have someone contact me to schedule an appointment to bring it back and no one has bothered to contact me. I called to complain twice and no one has contacted me. The service rep called me back once but didnt leave a message. I had preciously told him to leave me a message as I was going to be away from my phone. If I ignore my customers they go somewhere else.VERY DISSATTISFIED
This is a nice franchise to do business with. I have had my car for 2 years and brought it in today for a routine tune up, oil change, and other minor inspections. I was told to leave my car with them so they could take care of it. Mr.Dave (the shuttle driver) went beyond expected and gave me a lift home. Even though it was about 12 miles over the limit. I felt safe inside the vehicle. He is very humble and cared for my safety upon arriving home.
I give them 4 stars for Karla alone. She (and Brandi) are the only honest technicians as well as the only ones I trust with my car. With them, I know how much my service will cost-beforehand- and be updated on the timing as my visit proceeds. If it werent for these two I would not continue to get my vehicle serviced by 5 star Ford; this is coming from someone whos family bought 4 cars from them.Until their service technicians learn how to communicate with their customers (Im talking to Hunter and Sebastian) they will never receive 5 stars from me.If youre buying a car I highly recommend Axel. Hes great and actually cares about and remembers his customers.
First time going here for service and I did not buy my car here. So I had called in adv and booked an apt for 11:30am I got to service at 1125am and wait 10 min before actually getting out of my vehicle to ask where the service advisor is as I have an appoint for the works oil change. I was told immediately its going to take 2-3 hrs. Im like its a simple service and I have an appointment plus I have waited for 15 min where no one has approached me yet. So I was told that I would ask to go to advisor desk. This was completely brand new as I have had several make vehicle and no one does that. So not sure how thats service.but I was still stuck on 2-3 hrs time I was told. And they sad its more first come...well then why wasnt I told that on the ph and you have appointments list everywhere else. So I left after wasting 30min of my time and advise to come back mid week and first thing. This is just ridiculous and clearly not the service I expect or anyone else.
I was looking at buying a truck from here. While working on my deal they came back with a insulting low offer for trade. About 15k below trade value, verified by two different appraisals. They became argumentative afterwords. I will not be coming back to Five Star Ford.
This is a great dealership!!! The sales rep was great. Very knowledgeable about the car I was buying and made the whole process very simple. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my family and friends.
I had an appointment for a recall on my Ranger. I waited several minutes to find someone to help me. I was told that they only had one shuttle driver and said it would be a big help to them if someone could pick me up. I was willing to wait but that was discouraged. I waited till the afternoon to check on the status of my truck and could not get anyone to answer the phone. I texted the number that they gave me to keep in touch with them. Did I mention I had an appointment for 9am. I sent at least 2 text message and messages and left my number 2 time on the voicemail because they didn’t answer. The message said that they would call me, it never happened. I call the operator around 5:30 and explained my issue and she switched me to some customer service representative and you guessed it no answer I had to leave a voicemail. The woman never called me. Next day 24 hours after my appointment I get a text message that my truck was being looked at and about 45 minutes later I get a message my truck is ready and didn’t need the airbags replaced. I went up a got my key and paperwork and when I looked at the paperwork it belonged to someone else and not even a Ranger or for a recall. I would recommend going somewhere where else for service.
Thank you Mike Allen and staff for the amazing car buying experience!
Incredible dealership. Ive bought a few vehicles, and most future vehicles from them. I live over an hour away depending on 285 traffic could be 2 hours but they are so much better than the other 6 ? closer Ford dealers. The price they quote online is the price you get.... You wait for the scamming to begin, but it never comes.... Huh, off to the finance guy.... This must be where they get you? Ha! The guy is so nice you almost feel like hes gonna get fired for being so nice. Then you just leave.... Vehicle you wanted, price you wanted, no finance games.... This is how it should be. Honestly its confusing how they can be so much better.... Service dept? Gheez... It might be even better.... Straight forward, no games folks.... I tell everyone to go there (sad its so far) because it is so refreshing not to be treated the way most car dealerships do
If I could give their service department less than a 1 I would. My car has been at Five Star Ford for now 8 days and I have yet to get one call updating me on the status of my repairs. every time I called to speak with the mechanic I was sent to someones voicemail or told that they would text him. When I finally reached him on Tuesday I was told the repair to my car would take two additional days as the part would need to be ordered. It is now Friday and I have tried but failed to reach the mechanic after four attempts. this is my only form of transportation so not having a car for this long or even knowing when it will be ready is crazy and completely unprofessional. Please take your car elsewhere unless you have time and money to waste.
Well, when you read my review, let me know how you would rate your dealership. When I saw a listing for a Copper Head Ram 1500 in Stone Mountain, I was excited. I was there bright and early at 9am Friday morning, the day after Thanksgiving. I was extremely pleased with Justin Johnson, who made it look easy to get me into my truck. But here are some of my concerns. Its 12/26 by the way. First I test drove the truck and I thought, why is it sputtering. Maybe bad bumpy road, bad gas; Justin said the 24 rims were off balance and the didnt have the proper tools to deal with 24s, okay. Plus the check engine light is on. I asked if that could be checked out. He told me that I would have to take it to a Dodge dealership, because you folks are Ford. Next is I received ONE key to start my truck, which did not lock or unlock my truck. I had to buy actually two, because you should always have a spare. Now when I had a friend check out the codes on my truck, it was saying misfire. I went to Summit Racing and bought 16 spark plugs and 8 coil packs. My buddy installed them and you know, it fixed the sputtering and misfires; my truck runs like a beast. And the final thing is I went to get an oil change and the place wouldnt do it because the drain plug was rounded off. I understand the truck wasnt on your lot but maybe a day or so but did you guys inspect the truck at all? I would given you all the time you needed to check the truck out. Dont get me wrong I wanted this truck, because as Justin and I were doing paperwork other folks were wanting to look at this vehicle as well. Ive already added my personality to this truck. Im very pleased with my Copper Head Ram. But I dont think it was buy as is. I took care of all these issues. How would you feel, that its a month later and I sent invoices for my tune up parts and one key. I havent received a check or a response from Five Star Ford. Im not asking you to knock thousands off the truck, but making amends and some sort of response from management would have been nice...
I’m happy because I find a good f150 for me and my family. Willie wells is a patient and professional agent.thanks so much, totally recommended
We worked with Hunter! Hunter was the absolute best. His customer service skills are excellent. He definitely goes above and beyond. I wasn’t excited to get work done on my car, but having Hunter made the process so much better!
Made an appointment two weeks in advance only to show up and say I had to drop it off for 3 days as they don’t know when they’ll be able to look at it. I wonder how this provider would work in any other business and be ok.
I Had A Recall And Had The Welcoming Awesome Time As I Waited. Their Afford You Something To Snack On And Drinks. Their Attitude Was Just Beautiful And I Will Be Going To Trade And Purchase A Car Soon I Pray.
Mike allen salesman and Aaron finance manager are the best
Although the service department resolved my drive belt issue and I am thankful as I was out of town and trying to get home, I was grossly overcharged in labor rate. When I returned home to Florida, I called my local dealer, Bozard Ford, and they informed me the labor to install the drive belt is approximately $78. Five Star Ford charged me $500 in labor!! Drive out for the labor and service was $687.73. This is unacceptable and I will be taking this up the management chain. Lets hope they make it right by refunding me at least $400.
My First thought was to NOT Write anything and simply let my last entry speak for itself, but that wouldnt be fair particularly to Brandi Statham the Service manager I usually deal worth. While I was displeased with how things were going up to the point I wrote my last journal Brandi Once again Came through like a person who KNOWS HER BUSINESS ‼️ Problem Solved, got my Vehicle back and let me say...Thank you once again Brandi for restoring my faith in Five Star Ford!!My first few visits to the service department things were okay though I did notice something in prior visits that shouldve raised a flag, now unfortunately I know exactly what it is, after you leave your vehicle to be serviced the lines of communication between You (customer) and said department becomes almost Non Existent. This has to improve as the last two services I had on My vehicle lasted upwards of 4 days minimum w/o sufficient Communication, and THEY DO KNOW, THATS MY ONLY VEHICLE AND I AM THE ONLY CAREGIVER FOR MY PERMANENTLY DISABLED WIFE ‼️ Unfortunately I am considering speaking with the service dept manager WHEN I GET MY VEHICLE BACK, When will that be? YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE ‼️😢
Hunter, our service writer was excellent and very helpful over a couple of day. I was very pleased with the courtesy driver who was very very nice Im very helpful. All in all we had a great service. I recommend five star to anyone needing service
Will never visit this place again, I was there almost 5 hours for a oil change and they for got to flush the transmission. Worst customer service.
Willie treat me very well and every thing I want on my car I got. This Ford company is excellent.
Loved it here! I came to look at a GT Mustang that I fell in love with online. At first it seemed like I may have not been able to get it but Wahid and his manager went above and beyond to get me approved for a loan and a reasonable monthly payment! I am so happy with my new car and so grateful to the staff at this dealership. Thank you so much for helping me get my dream car. Highly, HIGHLY recommend Wahid as a salesperson. You WILL NOT be disappointed
I had a great experience. My rep, Hunter was knowledgeable and very helpful in service. He also gave me great payment options to take care of my service. I would recommend anyone to Five Star Ford Stone Mountain and my rep Hunter.
I have enough confidence in these guys that I will drive 7 hours AGAIN if I need another vehicle. They were very fair, polite, and transparent throughout the entire process. The truck was ready for me when I got there. I traded a truck, bought a truck, and signed the papers all within 2 hours, and I am absolutely not an easy customer. I cant say enough about how easy and enjoyable they made the transaction.
I dont love going to dealerships in general, however, my experience with five star Ford was Exceptional from the excellent customer service from Brandi, to speed and efficiency of them working in my 2012 Ford Escape and closing out my work order. If I have to go back to a Ford dealership again, I will definitely return to five star Ford!
Dropped my vehicle off on Tuesday 3/23/21, got a call about trading my vehicle. No correspondence from service department, I call today for a update. I was informed they will be looking at it tomorrow 3/30/21. This is ridiculous, it was only a parking brake light issue . Thissucks.Correction, actually it was a misunderstanding. Someone named Cedric from service contacted me several times today with updates about my vehicle. I have to say I was wrong...this dude is A-1 and he got my work approved with my warranty company ✌🏾👍🏾.I highly recommend 5 Star Ford and Cedric in service.
They have great service, my experience was the best.
I called this dealership to make an appointment to get my car repaired, after being in an accident. It looks like my car will be worth more to fix then its worth. Since i am not sure which company is going to pay for the claim I was asked to get a quote so when they figure it out whos responsible nothing will hold up the process of getting my car fixed. When I called the manager at the body shop said that I would be charged 80ish dollars for the quote if i didnt get the repair done there. I explained that it was out of my control on who decides where is gets fixed. Asking the auto body shop manager to be flexible he did not budge. I was planning on buying a new or used care there if the repairs were costly, but now I will now be doing business with this dealership. They have made my life just a little more difficult.
I had a beautiful buying experience at FiveStar Ford. Justin Johnson is excellent salesperson and very knowledgeable about the cars he sells. He was organized, efficient and completed the paperwork in a timely manner. He even delivered the car! I would definitely buy again from FiveStar.
I had missed out on a vehicle I was interested in - so using the internet I did a search for the vehicle type I was looking for. I found the exact one- and inquired. I first received a thank you email from them. Shortly after another came- this time from Jacob Johnson- who sent a detailed video of the car that he went out and made. Since I live 4 hours away- that was awesome. Within the next few hours we talked on the phone, I sent him pictures of my trade, we talked numbers - and made a deal. A very awesome experience. I drove up the next morning and Jacob had the car ready - since we had taken care of all the business part electronically the day before - I arrived about 9:45 am and was on my way back in an hour tops- the process there was great- and instead of getting a portfolio with tons of paper in it- it was all recorded on a thumb drive which is very awesome. Everyone I was lucky enough to interact with there were very helpful and amazing. I drove back home the next 4 hours with the top down and a smile on my face. Thank you Five Star Ford - and especially Jacob Johnson!!i
My experiences with Five Star Ford has always been exceptional. Hunter Kline was my representative both times my vehicle was serviced and he was aways very helpful, courteous and professional.
Frankie was awesome! Best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I live 2 hours away but was well worth the drive! Highly recommend working with the team at Five Star Ford!!
Hunter was exceptional in the way he arranged a driver to take me home after he made sure all my service concerns were understood. When I picked up my new 2021 Lariot from the trucks first service, Hunter had the truck cleaned up.I definitely felt taken care of and recommend the service department- ask for Hunter Fikes!
Thank you guys for supporting the high school walnut grove marching band
Ive been to this location three times now and have had a great experience each time. The employees are friendly and helpful.
Found a very nice f350 on auto trader I liked from this location, went to look one afternoon and loved that I had to approach them to see it, no salesman chasing me down through the lot. Ended up purchasing from Michael, who was awesome and professional, would highly recommend. If you want a good deal done right and quick without a hassle this is the place to go.
Excellent experience at Five Star Ford! Mike Allen was very attentive and helpful. Found the car I wanted and it was the easiest buying experience Ive had to date. Thanks!
I purchased Ford F150 from Five Stars, from my first contact on the phone until the truck deliver everything went smooth. Jacob J. made sure I got the right vehicle, no pressure at all, I’m really happy with my truck. Anyone looking for friendly staff and great customer service I recommend Jacob J.and his colleagues at Stone Mountain Five Stars Ford. Great people!
Had a bad deal from Jim Tidwell Ford buying a 2006 Ford Expedition. Didnt want to wait and get the brakes fixed so I slowly drove the truck home and went to 5 Star to get them to fix, since its close to my home. What a big mistake. I asked for them to inspect the vehicle to let me know what I should get fixed, that didnt happen. I mentioned that the brakes werent feeling to great and explained about the other dealership issue of forgetting to replace some clips for the brakes. They seemed only interested in fixing that, but was finally told that the rotors needed to be machined as well. After having truck for 3 weeks was driving on the highway and someone cut me off and a applied the brakes and the steering wheel was jumping so badly it was hard to control to stop. I dont know what has happened to service at dealerships but I would be remiss if I didnt say something. Took a week to order a mster cylinder and replace to not have done anything to the rotors. Im looking for someone to rell me theres some problems, because I need the truck to be as tip top as possible, bought for our business, and nothing. No updates, even when I called to find out the timeline for repairs. Should have listened. because while I eas dropping off vehicle, overheard another customer saying that his car had been there over a week without any update or reason why its taking so long to get back to. Finally found out that the car was done but no one had said anything or entered it into their system to contact customer for picking up. Be weary having service performed at this location. No perfessionalism at all. Had someone calling me to see if I wanted to se the truck I just more than once. I still dont know how they got my number.
Got my car fixed at the collision center after getting in an accident. They finished it a week before they said it would be fixed which I was very excited about. My car looks great and is running smoothly. So no problems here! Jorge and his crew were very professional, kind, and helpful throughout entire process. Getting the renter car was easy too! Thanks for help guys!
I had a terrible experience with this dealership. I think people need to know what happened before they bring their vehicles here. I have a 2018 Ford F-150 XLT that had harsh shifting problem with 10 speed transmission. I brought it to this dealership 1-16-21 and didn’t get it back until 3-16-21 over 8 weeks. It sat there for 5 weeks before anyone ever looked at it. It took 2 weeks to get a loaner vehicle. Also, it only had 38,000 miles. I was told many times that they were doing diagnostic but the truck never move the parking spot. They kept telling me that they only had one transmission technician. They tried three different things to correct the problem but nothing worked. Then Ford sent engineer which couldn’t fix the problem. So he gave the ok for them to order a transmission which this dealership installed.
