I am so pleased to have found Holden’s Automotive years ago! It’s great to have a trustworthy mechanic who gives you honest answers and fabulous service with fair prices! Mike and his guys have been servicing our vehicles for many years now. They have always been very honest and provide a thorough explanation of the need for any repair or service they recommend, as well as the pros and cons of postponing the particular repair or maintenance. They have been extremely pleasant to work with, and I have never felt like they were too busy to take the time to answer any questions, or to explain something I didn’t understand. I have become so used to their assistance that I find myself taking them for granted— but when I remember how difficult (and stressful) it can be to find someone reliable to work on our vehicles, I am reminded of how much more pleasant this aspect of our lives has been in the years since we have been going to Holden’s! I am very grateful for their service and highly recommend them to all.

I live 20 miles from Holdens but it was recommended by a friend so I took my car there. I had spent 2 months trying to track down some electrical problems with no success. Mike solved the mystery in one day. He truly takes care of you and your car. You will like this place. You no longer need to fear going to a mechanic. Friends wont let friends use anyone but Holdens.

Ive taken 3 different trucks to Mike starting in 2015. He is honest about what needs to be done and when, charges much less than most other shops, and gives a quick turnaround on repairs. Its hard to find a reputable and honest mechanic, but Mike and his guys are top notch.

Fuel pump went out on the wife and kid, and I havent lived in Snellville in years. A tow back to Buford would cost an arm and leg. Called around for a quote and got a great estimate from Holden. Mike was fantastic! Dropped off late in the afternoon, car was diagnosed and repaired within 24 hours. I plan on making a special trip for another vehicle of mine. Great service!

Holden is very professional, they did only the work that was needed and gave me as much advice as I needed before doing the work, and did it in a timely manner. Everyone seemed friendly. I would definitely bring my car, my wifes car. and suggest to other people that this is a good place for their work as well for their car.

Great experience at Holdens. Mike Holden did great work and was a very honest mechanic. I was told by another mechanic that both of my front wheel bearings were most likely bad, but they couldnt be sure until it got worse. He checked both and said that only one was going bad - he could have easily scammed me and told me I needed both so my price was doubled. I was very impressed with this and the quality of his work. I called around before choosing a mechanic for quotes, and he wasnt the lowest but he wasnt the highest either; and hey, the price was fair.On another note, I had an alignment done at Pep Boys a year ago. My car still pulled to the right after the alignment so I took it to another Pep Boys location to have it redone. This did not resolve the problem. Holden Automotive did an alignment and magically, my car drives straight again!!Id rather pay a few dollars more to know Im really being taken care of - my family will continue to use Holdens for all of our car repairs going forward.

I cant speak highly enough about the customer service that we received! My daughter was traveling home from college and noticed that her brakes were not working efficiently. I told her to go straight to Holdens Automotive where we have had her car worked on previously. She explained to Mike what was going on with her car and he knew exactly what was wrong and said that he could fix the problem. She proceeded to tell him that she had class the next day and needed to be back at college on time if possible. I told her that she might have to miss class, but safety came first. Not only did Holdens Automotive fix her car the next morning first thing, they did not charge us a penny. Mike continues to explain to us that the brakes were under warranty. Then I asked him if we owed him for labor cost. He proceeded to tell me that that was also covered. Honesty is huge and rare these days. I was so appreciative as a mom that he first treated my daughter with urgency and respect. Then fixed her car on time and no charge! He cared about her schedule and made it work. He did not have to take any of those considerations into account, but he did! That is EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am so appreciative that my daughter is driving safely to and from college now and that there is still an honest place to take our cars for service. Have taken 3 different vehicles to Holdens. Each time they did only the work necessary and at a reasonable price. Was told by a dealer that my 11-year-old car would need $2,200 in repairs immediately. Holdens was able to break the job down into four sections and made the two largest repairs for less than 1/2 that amount, which allowed me to make the other repairs at a later date as they were not a threat to the car continuing to operate effectively. Friendly, fair and honest with their customers. I will continue to take all my vehicles to them.

So far, so good. Only one day now, so a little early to really judge on the service performed. Only time will tell. RE, the shop: The shop was clean and neat (which indicates professionalism and competence), the staff seemed competent and the work was performed in less time than I was expecting, and Mike, the owner, seemed honest and knowledgeable. This shop was recommended to me, and so far, I would definitely recommend to others.

Holdens Automotive Service in Snellville is amazing. They get the work done when factory train service representatives could not. Holdens staff of employee are super people. His prices for his work are really fair and you pay only for the work completed and done. He is honest and he has helped out many of people who were in need.

These guys at this shop are the real deal! I came in with a stripped spark plug cylinder from the previous owner! They fixed me up in about 1 1/2 hours, cleared the misfire code for me and did it without removing the head which was a huge concern$. Did this at a VERY reasonable price. They will be seeing me again for any more issues. 2010 GTI.

From Michael Plante -I meant to write this sooner, but better late than never...back in April, I had a problem with my 2001 toyota 4runner transmission. Hard shifts, and I was sure it was toast. The last thing I needed was a $3800 transmission repair, and I took the vehicle to Holden, who has done work for me on both of my automobiles. Mike looked at the trans, and told me that there was one option, short of a new transmission, and that was to do a flush. He knows these 4runners, and I told him to give it a shot. So, here we are, almost 3 months later, and the trans is still holding up, and I escaped with only the $225 bill for the flush. No more hard shifts, and I get back and forth to work every day, as planned. Thanks for the save Holden Automotive!!!
