The country style pork ribs were AMAZING. Entire family enjoyed it. Great quality!and price! Thanks Oscar! Oh yeah, the hot BBQ sauce was great as well.

The employee I met with was not friendly at all. He appeared to have an attitude. If you dont like your job find another one. The meats are overpriced for no good reason. This place has been in business for a long time, I dont know how, its not because of their customer service. They must have the best tasting meat in town. I sure will not return.

Honestly if I could give this place zero stars I would. To start off with I had a 100$ gift certificate to this meat market, that they will not honor even though there is no expiration date on the gift certificate. The owner, frank, was rude and argumentative when I tried to use the gift certificate saying they expire after a year. He was eager to pocket my uncles $100 and not honor the gift certificate. That being said the place smelled like old meat not anything fresh and all the meat also looked brown and old. A place run with that kind of morals will not last. I would not waste your money here, if that is how he treats his customers I can only imagine how he treats his employees. Very disappointed in this man and how he runs a business.

Bought 4 lbs of ground beef YESTERDAY and its already gone bad .... It was a little weird colored and smelled yesterday when I bought it and I didnt think anything of it because Ive bought ground beef at Kroger before with a little brown/smell and its been fine. But I just pulled a pound out of the fridge to cook its almost all the way brown and smells like death. Will not be going back. I had a weird feeling when I walked in and saw how run down it looks in there. The fridge cases the meat is in looked like it was having a hard time keeping up with the heat. It looked like it all was melting and the meat was sweating. $25 wasted and no refunds which is annoying because we didnt get to use it at all. Will not be going back. Tucker meat market it is.

Brought some ox tails that was beef and not real ox tails had a lil old smell to them big and fatty. Will not be buying nothing at all from this place old meat.

Purchased 4 lbs of freshly ground round for cookout for Mother’s Day/Birthday celebration. Upon patting up the burgers..hands covered in excess grease/fat from the raw meat. Additionally, it had a weird color pale pink. When we went to grill them...so much grease from the meat the grill looked like a BON FIRE!The completely fell apart. We had to abandon the hamburgers altogether out of 12 hamburgers could not salvage 3. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MEAT.$30.00 worth or ground meat given to the dogs. They had great dinner....ours was horrible and ruined the entire get together.SHAME ON THEM...for selling such subpar meat!

Not associated with the Wilkes family at all. They bought the store, not the name. Shame...

The minute I walked into the store, the older gentleman was extremely rude and rushing me to get out. I had never been in there before, so I wanted to browse for a bit to see the selection of meats. The gentleman just kept asking me what do I want, which was very rude! I will never visit this establishment ever again and I suggest that no one ever visit this establishment as well.

Ive been going to Wilks for 3yrs and I LUV it. The meat is fresh, the prices are very reasonable, my husband love the steaks. I LUV everything. The customer service. The cleanliness. I strongly recommend Wilks.

Was surprised that its not really the Wilkes family anymore. I bought some steak on sale for $33; enough for 2 meals and it was very tough! No way could we eat them medium rare from the grill as you couldnt chew the meat. I wont be going back. I had traded with Wilkes on & off for over 30 years.

Visited Wilkes for the first time today (Sunday). Jeremy was very nice to me and my family. The packages were a great deal. Excited to see how we save on our meat moving forward.

Needed a good pork shoulder for some pulled I was making for a contest for Hawaiian sweet rolls. They had just the cut and it was the best. The guy was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

Hidden treasure. I visited Wilkes Meat Market for the first time yesterday evening and purchased all beef hotdogs and boneless beef ribs. My daughter loved the hotdogs and the beef ribs were amazingly tender. I will definitely be back. Customer service was superb. If you’re looking for fresh cuts of meat, reasonably price this is the place to go.

This place has a good meat selection but more importantly the quality is so much higher than what you get at the grocery store you cant even compare them. He has deals equivalent to grocery store prices (not $2 a lb mind you but no wonder meat sucks at $2 a lb at Kroger) and the steaks are close to the same price as Kroger or Publix but so much better! Best steaks I have had in months with great help and a great selection on other meat products as well.

I purchase a package every month. The meat is top quality at a reasonable price. Nice people too!

A small shop. I expected to smell meat. But we smelled nothing. It seemed a little overwhelming at first. But after he explained everyhing. It was fine. He very friendly and was kind enough to give us a free sample his homemade BBQ SAUCE. ( when Im done with this jar Im coming to get some more)

This place is always very clean. The staff is always friendly, and they go out of their way to help. The meat is quality and the prices are very fair. I recommend the meat for a month package.

Would not accept their own coupon. Clerk said we must buy a whole side of the cow to get the advertised $5.99/lb for KC Sirloin Steaks.Lost my business.

Customer service is Good, the beef is great you can tell the difference in the beef flavors and how it cooks.

I buy meat here at least once a week, Its always fresh and they are always helpful. I refuse to buy ground beef that is massed produced like Walmart or Kroger which imports beef from Uganda and Canada and its expensive! Wilkes prices are less per pound and much fresher.

Business will not sell 2 filets afraid no one will buy the rest of the meat.....if you never sell two filets to start with, then you have missed the opportunity to sell to the next person! Poor business customer service!! The owner needs to know how employees are running the business.

I have been goong to this meat market since tge early nineties ehen the Wilkes family owned it. Since the new owner bought it the quality has gone down hill. In the past few months I have gone there a few times and found that Frank had over charged me. When asked why he played it off like it was a mistake. Today I went back in and looked over the selection and to be honest the steaks were dried up and I choose not to buy anything. As I left Frank followed me outside and told me not to come back. That I had hurt his feelings and then he flipped me off. Myadvise to abyone wanting quality meat with good customer service. Go anywhere else! If you must go gere then keep track of your weights and dobt let Frank rip you off.
