My shopping experience at Surfside Casual was better than I expected considering how long it has been since I had been furniture shopping. I really needed a new bed and was excited by the selection they had once I got inside. The sales rep, Steve, answered all my questions about the Beds differences in build and pricing. The quality was great for the mattress and box. He made my decision of which bed I wanted much easier than I could have hoped for. The bed was exactly what I need for my back issues and shortly after picking out which bed I wanted, the process of paying was seamless and not clunky. The sales rep Steve also answered all my questions about the bed set and delivery, which they got to me 7 days later. I havent slept that well in a couple years, the bed is a serious upgrade for me! The delivery guys were also very professional and friend guys. I am very pleased with my shopping experience with Surfside Casual in Somers Point from the moment I walked in the door to purchase to delivery. I would recommend them and the Sales guy Steve to anyone!

Rob, our sales person is wonderful!! Been dealing with him for years and he is so accommodating. I always recommend him to all my friends. We had a bed delivered to my townhome with an adjustable frame that was super heavy . Roldan and his associate had a tough job getting it in my house and up the stairs but they did it and were very polite, helpful and actually moved other furniture for it to fit in the room.

Update: We received a 2nd delivery of furniture from Surfside Casual. Troy and Brandon were very professional and had the deck furniture assembled in 45 minutes. I would recommend Surfside for all shore furniture needs .Surfside Casual employees Joseph Sanders and John Mason delivered and set-up our new deck furniture and fire pit this afternoon.The men were professional, efficient, and very careful assembling the fire pit, igniter / gas line, and wind guard.We would like to request Joseph and John when our high-top tables and chairs are delivered in June.

My experience with Surfside Casual Furniture was excellent. I knew what I wanted when I went into the store and I knew it wasnt cheap, but you get what you pay for and Polywood Furniture is great stuff. My delivery went great. It was prompt and when I requested it even after I had to reschedule. The delivery men, Joe and Brione, couldnt have been nicer. They put everything together and placed it exactly where I wanted it. Im going back for another table soon.

Very poor customer service, delivered a piece that was damaged, took close to 4 weeks to get an answer from manufacturer for timing of replacement. No proactive calls on their part, I needed to reach out every time to get an update. Going on 3rd month and latest was they hope to get it in a few weeks. Thankful we didn’t order the other furniture we were considering from them.

What a great experience I had today with Surfside Casual! I called looking for polywood side tables, and Steve quickly texted me pictures, gave me a quote and completed the sale over the phone - no need for me to even drive there! I own three homes in Ocean City. My wife and I were shopping to update the living and dining areas. We were completely ignored by the three sales people. They were all feigning over one woman., and didnt even look at us. I hope that she was worth it. We went up to Platts where we were greeted and treated professionally. I will NEVER go back to Surfside. It was obvious that our business wasnt wanted. Thats okay, not my loss.

Love Surfside! There new store 7 Mile Design in Egg Harbor is amazing. I’m the process of doing my beach place, the designer has been outstanding ensuring I have design continuity throughout my place. So many options can be exhausting, but they get you through it with your aesthetic in mind. Thinking about using them for my main home since the quality of furniture is better and I can work with a designer on rainy beach days.

When it was delivered, the ottoman was too big for the room. Even the delivery men said it should be sent backAbsolutely no satisfaction. The ottoman is now in my bedroom where it is not needed and looks ridiculous

I purchased a Bernhart sofa, chair and two sets of bunk beds.I express that I need everything before Thanksgiving and it was delivered.I was not let down and everything was perfect, the delivery guys where excellent. If you are looking for great quality and promt service I highly recommend Surfside Casual Furniture.
Purchased a white kitchen table with six chairs and within a year the finish had completely yellowed everywhere (we are extremely clean and NOT smokers) despite minimal use and proper care. I have lots of other white furniture purchased elsewhere and have never experienced this problem. When I called they dismissed the problem as any issue with the product. Now I am left with a set that wasn’t cheap and looks horrible.
My wife and I have bought several pieces of furniture from Surfside Casual including a bedroom set, outdoor furniture, and various other furnishings. The prices are good, the delivery and delivery personal are professional, and the sales staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend them and shop there again should we need additional items.
Our experience with Surfside Casual was very positive from design to delivery. The designers were wonderful in helping us to put together the decor for many of our rooms in our new home. The delivery team was always punctual and great about putting everything together for us. I highly recommend Surfside Casual for all of your decorating needs. They strive to meet the needs of all types of tastes and styles.
Ordered furniture including two sets of bunk beds with mattresses. One mattress was very soft, in fact, defective. I called and asked to have it replaced with a better quality and said I would pay the difference. The mattress was only slept on one time (as it is in a beach house). I bought it in April and my granddaughter slept on it in June. They would not replace the mattress and the owner, Robert, would not return my phone call. I will never shop there again and would not recommend it to anyone.
Eddie and all sales personnel there are very informative and never do you feel pressured for them to make a sale. Now as far as their selection I could go broke in the store I want everything! Now that doesnt mean that theyre expensive it just means that I want everything!
I visited the store and preferred the furniture over other local providers. Placed an online request for furniture to fill a three bedroom condo. I followed up with a call to the store and was assured they had my requests and I would receive a quote so that I could come in in two days to choose fabrics. On the evening of the day I hoped to travel in to place my order, I received a quote on ONE end table. Needless to say, another furniture store will be getting my business.
STAY AWAY AS FAR AS TOU CAN.We ordered an entertainment center and the wrong one was ordered as it didn’t match the dining room furniture we ordered. The correct one was ordered but when it arrived the hutch was not included but prices of the hutch was delivered. We were told to keep the console until the correct hutch was delivered. This was after the summer so no one was living in the condo. On the hutch finally came in we went down the shore to meet them and when they took the hutch out of the box was completely damaged on the wrong color. We told them to take the hutch back and that we were no longer interested in the entertainment center is they couldn’t deliver the right product. They refused to take the consul back because they said it was used. However they told us to keep it until the hutch came in. So now we are out $692 an hour in the process of legal litigation with them. Their customer service is her Hotrendous and Elizabeth is a waste. STAY AWAY
I ordered furniture in June a sectional and two chairs I dealt with Debra, At the end of August the furniture arrived the two chairs were right, sectional was wrong. Had to wait another eight weeks for the right sectional that was supposed to be on a rush order. When I receive the call that the sectional was in I asked to be first delivery, when they called back they gave me a time between 12 to 3. After waiting four months. I will never deal with them again. What a nightmare dealing with Debra, Ed and Maryellen. We had asked what are you going to do for us after waiting 4 months the best they would do is give 50% of Tommy Bahama clothing. What a joke. Asked that Ed the Manager call me, but had Debra who knows nothing do his dirty work.If your looking to buy new furniture, go somewhere else, don’t deal with these clowns.

Stay away! We have been waiting two plus years to get our bunk beds fixed and surfside still can’t figure out how to schedule a repair appointment and actually show up. Oh and did I mention they damaged the beds during delivery!? Robert is a belligerent man and someone that should not be in a customer service role in any form or fashion. Surfside should thank its lucky stars that the store is located near people with disposable income because if they had to fight for wallet share in a normal location they would fail miserably.
Pricey everything. Must want you to pay for their renovation. They dont deal either. I had hoped if I bought a number of pieces there would be a price break. ANSWER: NOOO

I have ordered thousands of dollars of furniture from here and I am still missing pieces 2 months later!! Rob has failed to communicate with me throughout this entire process. Yes, its been an exhausting 2 month PROCESS!!! Surfside had sold the furniture (that I had already paid for) while it was waiting to be delievered to my house! When I call Surfside to check in on my order, as I am still awaiting the delievery, they decline my calls!! Unfortunately, I now have to use my daughters cell phones for anyone to pick up! Even the owner of Surfside Casual wont answer my emails!!!! SHOP ELSEWHERE!!
