BUYER BEWARE... Purchased a brand new 2021 Challenger GT from this dealership only to experience awful customer service and damage to my vehicle after signing. They wanted to take no ownership and proceeded to tell me that brand new cars come with scratches. The car returned with the whole entire body covered in scratches looking worse then when it was given to them. The service manager tried to make me feel wrong for pointing out damage they caused and hoped he would never hear from me again. Dealership does not care about the customer or their happiness whatsoever. Update: Because I posted this review telling the truth Tri City now canceled my appointment and refuses to provide accessories that were promised upon purchase. They dont want me near them and wont service my vehicle it is childish games honestly. They did address the first concern but upon damaging the car at the shop after purchase they refused to fix the damage that was caused and left me in a situation where I need to spend thousands to fix the damage.

I bought a used CR-V here last weekend. Brian was incredibly helpful and kind. I always find car buying stressful. Not only is it a big purchase, but also, based on past experiences I always expect to feel condescended to, pressured, or generally uncomfortable with the sales people but Brian was the exact opposite of all that. Zack was great, too. Overall it was a great experience and I’m really, really happy with the car.

Tri City has been servicing my Ram vehicles about 15 years. The ability to stop by for an oil change without an appointment is one of the reasons. Another is that the 5th oil change is free. I am not aware of any other Ram dealer offering that amenity. Finally, David Smith is the personable service rep that treats me as a valued customer. He keeps notes of my preferences for tire rotation, tire pressure checks, etc. I trust that the recent change in dealer ownership will allow their fine service practices to continue unchanged.

I purchased a new JGCL and in the first day the L ended up with a problem. I called the service department and was very upset. The whole time they worked on keeping me calm and had their people run me out a car as I needed to pick my children up.They couldn’t really figure out the problem at first and worked none-stop with Jeep till they figured it out. It ended up being a software glitch and needed a flash. They got the fix in Saturday just in time for our driving vacation.The service manager and Crystal kept me calm. Greg the service manager went above and beyond and had many options if my vehicle was not fixed in time so we could still go on our vacation. Thank you all!

I was at the dealership the other day to swap out the soft to for the hard top as well as having TriCity take care of a couple odds and ends.I had an appointment which made the intake process very efficient. Since they were taking care of my only available car, they dropped me off at my office in Portsmouth and agreed to pick me up when the car was done which makes it very convenient.I’ve been working with TriCity for the past four years. This is more of a general thought for the management, and for those business owners thinking about purchasing a vehicle from this dealership As a business owner I’m generally always on the go and my 2020 jeep Already has 30,000 miles on it. Needing an oil change I dropped in early this morning and was told sure I can have an oil change but it would be around two hours before my car will make it to a lift. I then asked if I could make an appointment for around 3 o’clock and was told by counter staff that “we don’t take appointments for oil changes” and I would have to call in before to figure out how many people were waiting at that time. Not convenient at all. Guess I’ll pass, the Ford bronco sounds better every day.

The day I had independently put on my brand new soft top, a major bar had bent completely in half later at about 5:15pm. Not only was I in a panic because there was rain on the forecast for the next week and I didn’t have a garage, but also because I was working the following 3 days at the hospital which didn’t allow me to be without a car. After hearing my panic, Greg offered to stay behind after closing time for me to arrive with the car, found the replacement part the following morning in another town and had it fixed by the following afternoon. When I went in to pick up the car and was thanking him countlessly, his humble response was, “it takes a village”. 10/10 best experience I have EVER had and I will recommend Greg to all friends and family. BUYER BEWARE... girlfriend purchased a brand new 2021 Challenger GT from Tri City. The challenger had damage that was fixed. While in the process of being fixed they buffed the car and completely scratched the clear coat with spirals swilling scratches. They wanted to take no ownership and proceeded to tell us that brand new cars come with these clear coat scratches. The service manager tried to make me feel wrong for pointing out damage they caused at the same time as saying it normal. If you look on the top middle of the roof where they can’t reach there isn’t scratches. Dealership does not care about the customer or their happiness whatsoever. Told us what they did do was all they are going to do. They refused to fix the scratches that were caused by them in the process of getting other stuff fixed. Highly recommended a different dealership for new cars. if you don’t want them scratched and told that’s how it came.

I took my Jeep in because it was hesitating when going uphill. They had it for a total of 4 days from beginning to end for a $900 fix. When I got it back it is worse than when I took it in. Now it is chugging & hesitating almost all the time and even stalling when trying to start moving.On a plus not TJ is very nice and helpful. Also they gave me a loaner car while they had mine.

My Jeep Grand Cherokee was damaged by mice chewing through the wiring harness and had to be towed to Tri-City Dodge. I was told it would take over a week because they were booked up. I was in a panic because I need my car and rental cars were unavailable. TJ Bill had my car looked at that day to tell was the damage was and went the extra mile and had my car fixed the next day. The folks at the service department have always been professional and caring when I’ve been there. I highly recommend doing business with Tri-City Dodge.

Well I can say that my overall experience at Tri-City was great. COVID makes things hard but I got to say buying a vehicle mostly online and over the phone might be easier. Dan, my sales man was quick to answer my questions and make things go smoothly. Even after my purchase having a small issue with one of my taillights being the wrong color, was quick to fix my issue and send me a new one (led taillights are not cheep).

I recently purchased a used 2018 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and I am very pleased. Salesman Brock Kerr was great through the whole process. An issue with the quadra-lift air suspension was identified during the test drive. Brock and the Service Team worked to replace the required parts and ensure it was operating correctly before I completed the purchase. It took several days, but I was very happy to have it fixed properly before taking it home. Brock kept me updated on the repair status. Although offered, I did not feel pressured to purchase every extra. I would recommend Tri-City and Brock.

I bought a new Ram 2019, 2500 in August 2019. After a little while the clock spring had to be replaced. Last New-years eve truck wouldn’t start had it tow in for repair, I was told loose cable on the starter must be to much vibration I guess. Now it turns over will not fire. They can get to me or my truck until the 18th that would have been over a week away. No loaner available so I guess they don’t care after the sale. I also bought an extended warranty through them doesn’t seem to matter. So it less than to years three time in the shop. Sounds like a Ford to me. I have already loss Five Hundred dollars last winter because I couldn’t plow. Now that I am on vacation I can take my boat out because I have no truck. Should have bought a Chevy that was my last truck had it 12 years never seen the shop. Hope I get transportation soon.

I called in search of a Dodge Ram 2500 diesel pickup truck. I spoke to a woman named Diane who told me they had 3 2020 Ram 2500 diesels in stock for $44,000. Wow! What a deal right? I put a deposit down over the phone by credit card to secure a dark grey model. I made an appointment for noon. Come to find out, this price was for a gasoline 6.4 engine, not a diesel. Classic bait and switch scheme! To add insult to injury, they tried to sell me a $62,000 truck and only offered a $1000 trade in on my current vehicle. My advice to anybody would be not to do business with this shady, bait and switch business. Go to a reputable dealership who is honest and up front about pricing.

They Sent out over 8 Credit inquires that seriously damaged my husbands score.They were all denied because address could not be verifiedhe had an 800 score and as a business owner has obtained several loans in the past year without any address change or issues.Unacceptable that they would keep sending out inquiries without checking to see why they were denied, ( probably due to a typo on there part).I wont be back, i dont recommend.
