Prices are affordable and worth the excellent services. There is ample and secure parking. The location of this supermarket is accessible and convenient from the town. Great large, well-stocked supermarket. Great customer services.

Its extremely average, but its conveniently placed. Its quite literally a small stop and shop (they own it) with less stuff.

You can find all things produce here. They have deals all the time, so if you know when to shop, you can get some nice discounts. All the checkouts are self-checkouts, so you never have to wait long in line. The quality of their products is good.

I couldnt find a lot of my favorites..... I guess they dont have that much of variety in goods......

It’s a little small and crammed in. They offer a good variety but are often out of things, particularly in the produce department. Definitely nice to have for the convenience factor.

Its a good idea to come here and mark which items are cheaper than at other grocery stores and buy only those, because generally sales are pretty scarce here. Produce can often be cheaper, especially when its on sale.

Its part of Stop & Shop so it has the same or higher prices. Its a 5 minute walk so I go once in a while. Sometimes I find mark downs though. Its not exorbitant but its not Market Basket.

Made a huge mistake choosing to go to bfresh tonight. I know it’s a smaller store but I figured by this point they had found a way to deal with covid precautions. I was totally wrong. It was as busy as ever so they’re clearly not restricting the amount of people in store at a time, employees are not social distancing when moving around so it’s really hard to maneuver through people safely especially since they were doing a bunch of stocking, and they’re not doing anything to sanitize carts or baskets (literally watched one person put their basket away only to be grabbed by another person a few seconds later, all with no sanitary precautions). I also watched an employee stand directly next to someone who was having an issue at self checkout. While I know it’s not just employees at bfresh who aren’t adhering to restrictions and there were definitely customers who were getting too close for comfort too, I feel like the employees need to be much more responsible just like as part of the work they’re doing. I feel bad being so critical but we’re still in a pandemic and it just do not seem like that was the case by how people were acting in this store. If you can avoid bfresh right now, don’t go. It’s just not worth the risk.

I when to buy some cherrys today.i was wondering why all the bags were open when I was looking I didn’t see any bags closed but anyway I got home and I started to eat them there so good then realized there was a hole in it I was like gross what is that and i told my boyfriend he said that it was worms. I googled it he was right. The cherry in this store has worms in them. And when I ate more there’s wasn’t just one like that there was a hole bunch and I paid a lot for them please don’t buy the cherries there’s worms in them.And when I was in the store there was customer come into the store with masks on and the employees didn’t say nothing to customer about it.

Disgusting place. I was in the Somerville location this evening and three employees weren’t wearing face masks. One of them was the evening supervisor. Also, as I was checking out a female employee came and stood directly next to me, began pushing buttons on the debit machine that I was using, and then walked off. I’m not sure what her reason was for such bizarre behavior. I immediately called after leaving the store to report these complaints and was hung up on. I will be contacting your corporate office and the Department of Health to file complaints.

Expensive af, but convenient.

All the staff are helpful an friendly but the young manager (I think he was) is magical and kind. Very good experience. I am elderly and somewhat limited physically and he was a prince among men to me.

I shop here on a regular basis. The location is fantastic, right on Davis Square under the spaces office buildings. They have fresh herbs and a good selection of locally sourced baked bread.The downside, however is overall price and selection. Its pretty pricey overall, and other than the bakery and a few other select items, the variety is lacking.

This is an amazing food market located right in the square. There are tons of meat being grilled which was pretty cool and even though it is a smaller grocery store concept by stop and shop, there is still everything you need form a grocery store, from fresh veggies to prepared foods. Overall, nice little but good market.

I would like to see a bfresh in the suburbs. Its big enough but not overwhelming. Prices are not sky high and they have good sales on some items. I bought 10 Yoplait yogurts for .50 each. Theres bulk and takeaway items and readymade food and ethnic food and shampoo. Veggies and fruits look fresh.Great place.

Inexpensive sushi! This is a great addition to Davis. It is long overdue. Your could do all your essential shopping here. It has a good edgy industrial look.

Amazing place to go for shopping. I definitely recommended this place because they sell organic and fresh vegetables in good deal, friendly customer service and also they do have 5 percent discount for the college students. We can eat fresh foods like whole food and can shop fresh vegetables. I really like this place.

Very nice selection and a convenient location

Nicely organized and compact little grocery store. I love going here because it isnt huge and overwhelming, you can go in and out with little fuss. They have a good mix of organic/healthy and your basic familiar brands.

Not long ago a quality neighborhood-sized store. Increasingly poor selection and customer service has taken its toll; what were once convenient and largely fresh options are gone, now mostly a place to grab a few staple items. Star Market in Porter is the better bet, or McKinnons across the street for many deli and produce items.

The New New grocery store with fresh produce and wide variety of modern foods; gluten free, non-dairy milk product, vegan protein, worldly condiments, fermented foods, and the next new food. Prices are cheaper than anything else in walking distance but recommend market basket for serious grocery shopping.Don’t overlook the fresh bread sold here from local bakeries!

Last time I was there, it felt like the staff throughout were watching me the whole time. I thought “Damn, don’t you have something better to do?” Didn’t appreciate that at all.For people thinking about pricing, freshness, etc... not sure if this place holds up. The point of robots taking over is allowing some price decreases but this place is the opposite. You’re better off going to the star market down the street. Also the checkout station and machines were not very ergonomic.

Good selection of foods ranging from dry to fresh foods. There is also a self serve food bar. Checkout is mostly self-checkout. Items can be fairly overpriced for the quality. The store is smaller than most grocery stores too, so the selection can be limited.

Came here for the first time today. Was rung up by the NICEST cashier ever, he had me download the app so I could get the cute free bag and then politely asked to see my phone and clicked off all the coupons I could use including one from the circular. He saved me like $15! So nice, loved the offerings and the service. Lucky you, Davis Sq!

Even though this is an offshoot of Stop &Shop, a majority of the products here are organic or natural. The fruit and produce are very fresh and theres plenty to choose from. Deli is great and the hot food bar is small but tasty.

Definitely a new gem in the Davis square/Somerville neighborhood. Its like a better cheaper wholefoods. The customer service at checkout couldve been a little nicer.

Decent little supermarket. Carries a small but, good/useful selection of groceries and ready-made foods. Nice and close to the T. Prices are slightly higher than competition but, the convenience is worth it.

Convenient market located near Davis Square. People can buy a quick already made meal and eat at the tables inside the store. The aisles are really narrow and hard to move around.

At first I kind of rolled my eyes at the idea of a hipster Stop and Shop, but hey, it works. Big selection for an urban location like this, and the prices are pretty reasonable. There’s a variety of prepared foods and desserts as well as groceries. You can also by some things package-free. The entrance is small and the store can feel a tad cramped, but that’s the price we pay for a real grocery store in this location.

Owned by the Stop & Shop company so the prices arent that some things are really excellent. one can construct a sandwich that is much cheaper than the other places in Davis Square and it is exactly what one wants. a great addition to Davis Square

Very inviting atmosphere. Went for the bulk food items, but couscous was mislabeled. Lots of sale items that you dont need a card for which was nice. If you show a valid student ID you get 5% off your order!

Produce here is often old and spoiled, the overall selection of products and level of service are poor. The only reason to shop here is convenience. From pricing to quality, bfresh delivers a substandard experience, but its a bit easier to get to from Davis than the (better) Star Market in Porter Square.

Convenient with decent selection though heavy on Stop & Shop branded items. The reason for 3 stars is the aisles are always blocked with carts and boxes for restocking making it very hard to maneuver my carriage through. The only time the aisles were clear was when there were B Fresh corporate people present. I visit this market almost daily because its convenient but I wish they had a bit more variety and the restocking didnt take up so much of the already small space.

Convenient market in David Square. Since it is a Stop and Shop company store carries Natures Promise chicken. There is a lot of prepared food if you dont want to cook.

New supermarket in the area, with accessible prices and occasionally sales. It has everything from fruit and vegetables to already prepared meals. The staff is incredibly helpful and even international bank cards are accepted.

A suprising amount of variety for such a small supermarket. You can pretty much get everything you need from prepared foods, produce, and grocery store staples. Also has a small bakery and deli and self checkout.

Hissho sushi at sushi bar. They have a salad bar to create your own salad. Add any toppings before you pay. Many bus stops and subway routes. Wi-fi connection took too long to respond so I use Dunkin Donuts instead.

Its in a great location and the store is modern and clean. Surprisingly the prices were decent. The problem for me was seeing several packages of extremely moldy sandwich rolls/bread-like science experiment mold with growth. That tells me that the bread had been there for months. Another problem guys preparing hot foods were not wearing gloves. Other than that, not a bad experience.

The selection can be hit or miss(or placed oddly) but the prices compare favorably to any walkable market from my location. There are frequent sales on clearly marked items. This makes saving money even easier.The staff is friendly and eager to help. Ive recieved lots of help in picking cheese at the deli, making sense of the registers and near immediate help when a machine ate my money.Keep in mind that all but a few check out lines are self check out. This is fine if you have normal items, but if you are buying produce or an odd sale item wait for a human checkout line. Some produce arent in the system and some sales are impossible to get without human intervention.Im usually quite happy here, with a few exceptions that take that one star off my rating. The problems are nothing compared to the benefits and I often recommend this market to people.

Pretty solid range of fresh food for how small they are. I love the fresh ground nut butters. Wish they had larger quantities of things to buy, such as multi-pack yogurt boxes, but this is a small branch.

The store looks and feels cluttered. There is barely any room to fit two people never mind there respective carts down most of the aisles. And there seems to be at least 10 employees standing around talking getting in the customers way at any given time. Front shelves, look like your cleaning get on a cash register. Why are you getting paid if you are in the way? Never once has any of the bored employees asked if I needed something. Every time I go in to bfresh there is stock not yet put away just laying in the already tiny aisles. Stop and Shop should be ashamed that their name is in association with bfresh. I dont see how this place isnt bleeding money? It is never busy.

Great to have a grocery store right in Davis square. Good quality food. Great prices. Very tight in the store so beware if you come with a stroller or even a backpack.

Its a step up from S&S but that does really say much.The interior is much different and everythings so bright you get the feeling that theyre over-compensating for the fact that its just S&S under a different brand. Its nice though.

Good selection and fair prices, much like a European grocery but much more frustrating to find the codes or look up the entry for produce by weight. Some of the produce is withered or has moths, etc. That said, I like the bulk offerings. Very convenient salad bar, hot bar, prepared foods packaged to go... Im very glad to have a grocery in Davis Square, so Im happy enough resolving to be more patient finding codes for ringing up stuff thats not pre-packaged.

An excellent addition to David Sq.!! Its surprisingly large for the space. In addition to the staples, they have lots of unique groceries such as a large bulk foods section and packages of meal ingredients to cook at home like Blue Apron.

Exceptionally convenient, easy self checkout (except produce or backery to things), and has most of what I would usually need for basic daily meals. Some vegetables even have good portion sizes for cooking for one, though sadly still not leafy greens.

It was fine until I went to buy milk. The Stop n shop milk was priced at $2.69. At the Stop n shop the whole milk per half gallon is only $1.69. Why? The other foods were about the same price. So it was fine.

I have been in this grocery store a few times a month on my own and have enjoyed grabbing some sushi or something from the food bar while doing some work in Somerville and shopping for dinner. Today, I brought my two older kids with me to pick up a few things. My older son was followed around the whole store by three employees. I find this extremely demeaning. If the backpack was an issue I would have preferred to have them say it wasnt allowed in the store than to follow him all over the store like he was a criminal. I will take my 100.00 and wont be shopping here anymore.

Customer service representative near cash registers impatient with and condescending toward customers who have questions. Not the least bit helpful and quick to blame customers.

Make sure if you have a debit card that you know your pin otherwise it wont work. I did all my shopping, everything was rung up then debit card wouldnt go through without a pin. They made me move to two different registers to see if it would work and after 20 min I had to leave all my food there because they could not figure out how to run the card as credit which i do all the time at other stores.

Its honestly the best mix of products for the sq footage available to it. Good selection of prepared foods; today chickens, sushi, and deli. Even some pre-packaged ingredients for meals. The fresh produce section is respectable, and so is the cheese section. Dry goods too. They also sell gains and nuts in bulk.Basically, they have everything that a full sized grocery store would, but a more narrow brand selection.I still plan on going to McKinnons across the street for my fresh meats though.

Fancy grocer. Their touch screen system for weighing and labelling produce and bulk items is frustrating. Theyll work it out eventually. The checkout here is mostly self service and it works well enough.

Very innovative modern and a wide selection of foods. just a FYI it is owned by stop and shop a large regional food market here in the area but it is branded/marketed as a competitor to whole foods. The prices were fair compared to the local competition. I will shop here again

I like the bulk foods and array of fake meat/cheese, but the organic produce selection was really lacking. I thought this was going to be an organic market. Probably very convenient for people living around the corner, but thats not me so I dont think Ill be coming back.

Love having a grocery store in Davis. The prices are little higher than the porter sq. Market but its really nice to grab something so close to where I live.

Its a great store though weird place for a grocery to be in but the place has friendly workers who always ready to help of course the best way they can to make sure you are satisfied and come for more.
