Most of the time, a decent place to shop.They need to change their hours to closing at 10:50 pm. I got there within 10 minutes til close, had my two items ready to checkout, and the cashier rudely wouldnt allow me to purchase them. Plus the manager pretended like he didnt even notice. 🙄

Great as the people who worked here and selection of sales items I bought here and a few things I snuck into my cart 🙃 😅 Im such a lil child sometimes I cheat instead of none Ill buy 2 or 3 sweet items, everyone has a cheat item on grocery list. Not good to go shopping 😕 on empty stomach I always go over my amount. I check my list or circle things off so I 🤔 dont have to decide what to get. Im happy with their selections at all stop and shop supermarket and I go to my local pharmacy in the store and play occasionally a scratch ticket cant win if you dont buy 1 or 2 yes frugal when gambling 🙃 definitely 🙂 going again. If the store needs spokesperson here I am.

Great place to earn rewards and stack up your groceries especially in MA since, Walmart doesnt sell much of the produce.

This Stop and Shop location has some great deals on grocery items, as long as you use your Stop and Shop rewards card; and keep track of sales, as well. The people who work here are generally friendly and helpful. I still shop here on a regular basis, however, this particular location has a serious issue with panhandlers being allowed to panhandle on the grounds of the supermarket. A lot of times, the panhandlers are even allowed to actually panhandle in the store, particularly at the main entrance. I hope something is eventually done to address this serious issue. Customers should not have to be harassed for their money while attempting to shop.

Ive been shopping here for almost 14 years and this supermarket has great prices and quality products, along with friendly staff.However, over the course of the past six months, Ive been shopping elsewhere at times because this location has a really bad problem with aggressive panhandlers being allowed to loiter on the property. I hope something is eventually done about this.

I really love the price and qualities of the banananananas of Stop and Shop! Also Ice Cream has most flavors than other stores with great prices+varieties.

Well stocked. Neat and clearly labeled aisles. Sanitizing wipes were available to wipe down your cart. An employee was checking to make sure customers had masks on and probably counting how many customers entered on that time of the day. There were shields around the registers, but I dont quite remember if all the employees were wearing masks.

Very big seemed like things were there but not on my list like they were out probably because of either Covid 19 or maybe the holidays too. I must say my ham came out beautiful with brown sugar and maple syrup.

Went to buy a box of taco shells..Its taco Tuesday. When time came to toast the taco shells we noticed that they were all broke except for 2. This is unacceptable, we had to eat dinner with taco shells pieces. I will not be buying taco shells at Stop and Shop ever again. I also noticed the unhappy bagger, a older woman with glasses and eyes everywhere, a short buzz cut had a bad attitude as usual and was very aggressive with my groceries.

Pretty good. They had most of the things I needed. Doing self checkout there is less annoying than some other places. The machine doesnt get mad if you bag your groceries as you scan them. The way the juice is all at the far end of the store always trips me up.

Store was as expected, nothing special. However, I observed one employee with no mask behind a counter area and another out among customers on the sales floor with a mask around their neck. I wasnt even looking around for this type of behavior. Does not make me feel good about returning to shop there.Company website had no clear way to contact them about this issue.

Doesnt get too crowded unless its a holiday week. Lines go by fast and most of their shelves are stocked even in the pandemic. Also friendly cashiers and staff.

They seem to have defeated the coronavirus, poor mask and distance policy. No one monitoring the doors, poorly stocked. Its like a real life game of frogger. But at least I didnt pay 25 cents to play.

This grocery store fulfills the grocer deficit. A tad pricey, but I have not adjusted to thr east coast cost of living. I still shop their, so the prices are still quite reasonable.

Very clean nice big location. not crowded at all however prices arent the best. I guess you pay a little extra per item for the luxary of bigger isles less crowding quicker check out and paper bags with handles ;)

You should find almost everything at this store.

In October they were selling moldy pumpkins, we didnt buy any but when we came back 2 days later they cut off they moldy stems and were still selling them. I also bought a bag of potatoes the same day and when I went to cook them the following day found out they were also rotten. I have bought cheese from here and found that they didnt remove the plastic before they sliced and my fiance ended up choking on it (thats how we found out). They fail to remove tampered products from the shelves, ex. A container of cookies that had a few missing. Customer service is not that great, I really dislike this location its just gross.

The store was large and the things werent hard to find. They also had great costumer service! Would come again! :)

At this sensitive time the GM of this store should be managing the volume of people allowed in at one time. It was so overcrowded I went to the register after doing 1/2 of my shopping. The registers had no spacing requirements or spots on the floor to stand to allow for appropriate distance. I got through as quickly as possible and left. I felt badly for the workers who had no gloves or protection. Especially during the next two-four weeks. Please management, help protect those of us who have to buy groceries for our families. Use common sense measures so we can feel safe in your store and give your workers some minimal protection. Thank you.

Great place for shopping. I love it.

The store is cramped with too many shelves and items stacked up and around. It felt like a maze or obstacle course. It because so frustrating. The staff at customer service are very rude. They yell at customers. When I used the self checkout, I had a question so I called for the employee two registers down and she looked at me with a annoyed look on her face, sighed and rolled her eyes because I need help with that outdated machine. I dont prefer to return to that particular location again.

They are the worst. I was a loyal 15 year customer but no more. They are deliberately not restocking their shelves. They will give many excuses for not having food but it is all a lie. I spoke with many members of the stop and shop team and they secretly confided that the management was cutting their stock orders in half and not wanting to restock should they get shut down. So where does that leave us? S*** out of luck and they don’t care.GO TO MARKET BASKET!!!! They have everything! They obviously care more about the customer than profits.

Over priced and under staffed. I only come here when other places are closed. This place it clean and has good hours... Thats it. Finding someone to help us hard. So few check out lanes are open but there is a lot self check out lanes. All that money they save on not-self check out lanes is not going to other staff to help customers and not lowering the prices. Its really a model of what grocery shopping should not be like. But like I said, it is clean.

A perfect place where you can get everything you want. Theyve nice deals on different stuff occasionally. Fruits, vegetables and meat are fresh and clean. Next to Stop & Shop, theres a liquor store where you can buy alcohol as well. Free parking available, wheelchair accessible parking & entrance, strollers are available and theyve a robot who monitors the store. A bank and an ATM is inside it as well. Self-checkout is available. Its on the main road, can be noticed easily.

They are doing pretty well at staying stocked. I wish they had a bit more variety of spices though.

A well stocked and cheerful grocery store. They don’t toss their old bread and instead offer it up for sale at reduced prices the next day. They frequently have deals on seasonal produce and groceries. The only reason I don’t like going to the store is the absolutely dangerous highway crossing on the other side of the store that connects the store to Assembly row. Traffic never stops even at the light. A few months ago, a pedestrian was killed at these lights. I wish the store would argue for better pedestrian safety at these lights with the city office.

Great variety of products including organics and internationals. People are nice and always willing to help if you need them. I go every week and have never experienced anything negative. Prices are fairly good and if you have their card you can get some discounts as well.

Fairly good Stop and Shop. Good layout, has more healthy options than a few other Stop and Shops Ive been to. The lines usually move pretty quickly and the people at the registers are usually competent and the service desk moves quickly as well. However, the deli is usually slow and the fish counter is not always staffed. There is no hot bar and I believe the salad bar closes around 8pm. Other than that its pretty much your average Stop and Shop.

My favorite grocery store in the greater Boston area. Excellent produce, friendly employees, and good prices. Store is thoughtfully laid out and easy to navigate.On a side note, the middle stall in the womens restroom is well worth a visit if you need a pick-me-up. Really positive graffiti.

Well laid out chain grocery store. Deli fish and meat countess are each quit good. Self checkout lanes are fast and convenient as are the bar code scanners that you take with you as you shoot. I do like the app that lets you scan from your pen phone the best. Overall it is a good and generally uncrowded shopping experience.

I wanted to pick up some paper cups for a party... couldnt find a single paper option. Not one. All plastic or Styrofoam cups. Seriously, what year is this Stop and Shop? Its stuff like this that makes me realize, the earth is in serious trouble.

Great local one stop grocery store, with even a dunkin on site! The prices are always better then other grocery stores in the area, and the sales on produce that they run are always very good, like peppers and broccoli. The deli line is always very long and sometimes they only have one person working, if you get there early on the weekends this isn’t a problem. One nice plus is the gas rewards and very easy to use app for coupons.

Management needs to hire more people in the deli section, I used this store for a long time but stopped because of how bad the service is. I stopped by today out of convenience, but I was reminded why I avoid the store, it took over 40 minutes to get served. There was 1 person working, and you could tell she was new, she was by herself for 15+ minutes and then finally the other worker came over to help her after he was done cleaning, absolutely ridiculous.

Great Store, Good service. Would like to see hand sanitizer over by chicken. Cross contamination is not fun. Its essentially in this day and age to be health conscious. It should be implemented in all stores that sell chicken.

I went to the deli to order five items and I waited a over half an hour for the associate to be finished with my order. The both of them in the deli were moving incredibly slow.

This place has the crappiest produce and they often knowingly sell rotten or expired products. Markey Basket, Star Market and Big Y are so much better. I just go here when i absolutely have to.

Pretty good store layout. Well stocked. Outrageously high prices compared to Market Basket. I use it like a convenience store for select items only.

The produce and groceries here arent too bad but I will never again by raw meat here. Everytime I buy ground beef its nice and pretty on the outside but we all know that it is the inside that counts. The inside of the ground meat is brown and gross. They take the old meat and wrap the good meat around it and sell it. And by the time you realize it the meat is already in the pot stinking up the kitchen. This has happened to me way too many times and of course its when I am hungry it gets noticed. Nope never doing raw meat at Stop and Shop. Ever.

Not the cheapest but it definitely has a great selection of groceries. Lots of things on sale at any give time! Also, the Jamaican beef patties from the deli area have become a cheap staple of mine.

I come to this place almost everyday..i love that their products are nice and fresh.. but the staff are so rude and look upset all the time.some times i have two carriages.. and no one wants to help me..yet i have spent like 300$ in grocery..like i have to keep asking around.. to see who will come to help me move my carriage.

Stop and Shops grocery scanners are the best around! I love being able to just scan and bag all my groceries as I go along. Really makes checkout go much faster.For the most part, I like Stop and Shop. I think they have a pretty decent selection and prices are OK.My only 2 gripes are the number of times all the produce scales are down or only one is working. And secondly, the damn people who are in the scanner self checkout line and not using the self scanner. I like the speed of checkout and these people are just annoying. Be nice to have to use your scanner to activate these stations.Staff/employees at the Somerville store have always been helpful.

Stop n shop your usual grocery store, covers your basic. The works have no ideas where anything is. If you ask and they dont know then, theyll tell you the product is discontinued. You will find it later in the store in a random place. Although it is super convenient and the saving deals are nice, add some coupons and you got a good deal

I use this Stop & Shop for a considerable amount of party platter business. I love that they have curbside pickup service available. Although some basics may be more expensive via curbside pickup, pricing is decent for essentials that I need for meetings. The service is good, and it is fast enough to go through the self checkouts if the staffed lanes are busy.

Average Stop and Shop location. Ample parking available. Conveniently located off of McGrath Highway in Somerville. Friendly, professional staff who know how to answer the phone and they not only know what a water cooler is, but also whether or not they carry water cooler bottles -which is far more than what I can say for Star Market staff.
