One Stop Shop for all groceries! This store offers good variety of fresh vegetables, dairy, frozen stuffs are available at good prices. Staffs are friendly and fast!

We love the place. Sure its a but crowded and tight but you get very nice quality for an affordable price. Wouldnt buy fish here though, its expensive. They are quite nice and its big so you wont have issues getting all your stuff. Its the perfect store for your weekly groceries shopping!

The Hunger Games arena of Boston. 🤣😂 Its super busy, very cramped, and full of people wearing their masks under their nose like an NPC. But, the groceries are cheap! If you go here, just know that people can be aggressive. So, may the odds ever be in your favor

Worse place ever to go food shopping the some baggers don’t even know how to bag your groceries the right way. Whomever thought filling up someone’s grocery bags with all heavy sodas and drinks they do let’s just throw all the stuff in one bag. Let’s put the eggs on the bottom of the bag said no one.

I like this market basket more than walthams. I think this one is smaller but for some reason feel that it has more variation in products than Waltham.The shopping carts are sanitized, face mask is required and 6 feet away from each other.Everyone is friendly (at least in my experiences).Also have the idea is easier considering the location, to access to it than the walthams

Do different Market Baskets have different pricing? This one seemed more expensive than the other one Ive been to.Maybe this is a misperception.The kind of beef I was looking for was hard to find.This is a great family-run chain and Ive been told has the best prices for quality in the Boston area. I enjoy the shopping experience. Many unique food products and a great variety. I am impressed with the quality as well

Its one of the smaller market baskets, store is on the cleaner side for a city store thou it could use a facelift, its well stocked and there is always helpful clerks in the isles . Down side is outside parking can be a nightmare and can be almost impossible to find parking during rush hour

This place is absolutely disgusting. Today was my first time visiting and will definitely be my last. Most of the items I came to buy were not on the shelves, and those that were were damaged or filthy. Add to that the swarms of people in narrow and congested aisles and Ive found grocery store hell.

Well stocked store and a much better, reasonable, cost efficient option in comparison to Whole Foods. It was a little crowded but the check out lines moved swiftly.

Shoutouts to my man Louie in dairy and mi amigo Will in produce!You let customers put in product requests, and are actually able to fulfill them, which is partly how the cheese and yogurt section has grown to include all my little-known favorites.You have freshly baked baguettes and demis that make my morning warmer, literally and figuratively. :)You have SIX cashiers of express checkout to make those of us who cycle in and shop with baskets have an easy breezy checkout.You sell high quality Venus-equivalent razors for $4.39 for a box of FOUR which would cost over $20 in CVS.You carry the best bags of sprinkle-topped shortbread cookies at Christmas time, and those heavenly coconut- and almond-wrapped dates for Thanksgiving.You have all the weird wonderful international foods like bitter melon and jicama and yucca and lemongrass for when I want to get more creative with my meals.And you sell PPE (masks) for $.30. Theres nothing wrong with this place, but if you get overwhelmed easily avoid peak times. It gets very high traffic.

Love this place. The best place to shop grocery in the city. Market basket offers a wide variety of grocery items including halal meats in a very reasonable place and unlike Costco, here packs are in convenient size (remember the huge packets of Costco items that usually end up in trash as get spoiled before even could use half of it ;) ). Best is this place can be accessed by public transport in the city and has a good variety of Asian vegetables. Needless to say all vegetables are very fresh. If you are going on a weekend, prepare for a pretty long billing Q

For a MB this should really be 4 stars. Its small for how many people shop here but honestly it deserves an extra star for how well they operate. I suggest avoid going at peak times (3-7). Good price and selection of essentials

It was amazing. The only problem i have is that there was a lot of people in there (maybe to many for a pandemic).It was so big. Lots of variety on everything. I love how low the prices are there.

This store has its pluses and minuses, but overall I think its great. Because its relatively small, it has been crowded during the pandemic. However, theyve made the aisles one-way, which helps.Pluses: Their fresh fruit and vegetables are great and are definitely less expensive than, say, at Stop & Shop or Star Market or other higher-priced niche stores. They carry good sushi and varieties of fresh fish (also some frozen). Great selection of ice cream. Generally the employees are friendly and helpful.Minuses: The parking lot is too small for the number of customers they draw, so its a good idea to plan for your visit to be well timed.There are quite a few customers with children who sometimes run around in the aisles, adding to the congestion.Overall, I used to not shop here, but now it has become my #1 go-to store for most things. I try to go at times that its less crowded.

A really good store!

Forget social distancing at this store. They do not monitor the number of people entering the store or monitor the aisles for people grouping closely together. Narrow aisles with employees blocking 1/2 the space and congregating talking not 6ft apart. Great place to catch something seems to me.

Too small and conjested. Did not have the cornbeef and cabbage hot meal. Employees were helpful

Market Basket is by far the most affordable grocery store in the Somerville/Cambridge area, but man alive is this place crowded. Went in to grab a gallon of water and a few apples, and there were so many people (customers and employees) blocking the aisles it was hard to move around the store. Check out time in the express line was over 25 minutes. Amazing chain of grocery stores with great prices, but if youre in a rush, Id skip stopping at this particular location.

Very claustrophobic in most aisle and small

I have been coming to this Market Basket for years, and the employees have always ignored me or been helpful. You dont come here for friendly employees or good produce/meat, you come here because its cheap. However, my experience today has completely changed my opinion of the store. I was yelled at multiple times by a cashier because I got too close to the 6 feet line (I was three feet away), I put my items on the belt too early (there is no sign saying not to put items on the belt at a given time despite what he repeatedly said), and I put my card in the chip reader too early (It wasnt going to read until he continued the transaction). The cashier obviously did not know the rules and was lashing out at me for no reason. Market Basket needs to properly train their employees on the rules and on how to be kind to customers.

I went to two Market Basket this day and the one in NH the cashier was so rude it didnt make no sense. I called the supervisor over and he said he need to talk to the manager, so I called the corporate office and the corporate office told me they was going to call the manager Dave Webber and he will get back to me and I have yet to hear back from him. Some of the ppl in this store are so unprofessional, and I shop here one a week🤦🏾‍♀️

Good place for grocery shopping

Virtually the only place I will shop for groceries. While it is only a five or ten minute drive I have other grocery stores much closer but I still go to Market Basket at any opportunity. No one beats their prices.
