I came in here based on the reviews but was disappointed. At first I thought they were closed bc there was damage to a window, but was able to walk in and order. Having a neon open sign would help. Only one choice of alternative milk: oat, and they don’t have whipped cream. Picky, I know, but if I’m gonna drop $5+ dollars on a coffee, well, at least have the basics.Also, they should have an alert system on the door to alert the employee behind the counter that someone has walked in.Employee was friendly, the murals are cool, they even have Yalitza hanging on the wall, but the bathroom was a bit of a clutter. Maybe Covid hit them hard? I don’t know. Here’s to hoping things change.Parking is also a bit challenging.

Very friendly and the coffee was delicious 😋 very aesthetic and very close to home for me. I’m definitely coming back soon and taking an iced “Mocha Mexicano”. If you’re in the area you should definitely add El Cielito Café to your next stop. Support local business, which also gives back to the community in any way they can.

Today was the first time I stopped at this nice and cute coffee shop but I had a bad experience the cafe de olla was the worst cafe de olla I ever had theflavor was too bitter no taste and not sweet at all the nice guy behind the counter said no refund fine lol I asked for the refund instead he switch it for a different coffee a latte but Im sorry to tell u that it was horrible and over pricey Starbucks never goes wrong sorry I always want to be honest

This cute hole in the wall coffee shop is a gem! The actual shop is incredibly decorated. Their art is amazing (also for sale)! Their artisan coffee is exceptional. Move-over-Starbuck, good! The staff is very helpful and friendly. It seems like the kind of place a Mexican version of Friends would actually take place in. Loved the atmosphere. Recommend to everyone!

Great coffee! In house and their ground coffee to make at home. My fave is El Salvador. Friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Try the Mocha Mexicano its delicious, as well as the mazapan frap, and horchata! I love this place as much as I love starbucks, it’s really chill at el cielito café they have WiFi and your able to do your hw with out any loudness it’s nice and peaceful here!

This place has the most delicious horchata fraps. The people who work here are not only amazing and great but very friendly to everyone that comes in. Has a homey feeling when you step inside the little cafe and theme of the cafe is awesome. They play some awesome jams as you enjoy either a beverage or some tasty treats. I would recommend this place for a hangout or just simply to do some work on a laptop or something. Nice calming and quiet place.

Best coffee house in the city! Never been disappointed with any of my drinks or with the staff. Love that they have alternative milks. A very chilled and welcoming environments. Amazing art displays and a community library if you need something to read. Bathroom is available for customers but parking is limited. In my opinion, frappes need to be a bit improved, I would suggest to get an ice drink, way better.

I really liked this spot. The champulatte was great and the hot chocolates were also great. They werent too sweet like at other places. Nice place to study because its not as loud as other places. Its probably South Gates best kept coffee shop secret.

Very cool spot! A lot open space to do some work quietly. I highly recommend the Maza Pan Latte. I love the artwork on the walls and the two coffee guys behind the counter were friendly and helpful.Parking here can be tough, limited street parking and their parking lot is shared with other businesses which makes it hard to find a spot.

Great place to pick up lunch. Everything is good. I especially like the chicken sandwich, potato balls, and everything in the bakery. The lines are long but worth the wait. I have never eaten there but have always taken out.

Here you can try different coffee varieties and are bound to find one you like! This isnt your commercial coffee that tastes burnt or overly bitter. The coffee is roasted in house and the care that is taken to do this properly really brings out different notes in the coffee. The owner imports coffee from Latin America that you cant get anywhere else and by doing so also supports small farmers. As a coffee connoisseur Ive tried all their coffees and they are so different and delicious! They also serve latin inspired iced drinks and teas. On this occasion I tried the pan dulce which another local bakery makes and it was so fluffly and tasty. We need more businesses like this so go support.

Garden Cafe is our go to most times. The food is excellent and the wait staff make you feel like they know you. Great outdoor seating with heat lamps in the cooler evenings. Favorites are the asian wings, pizzas amd the grilled cheese...yummy. Would be a great place to have a singer outside on summer nights for entertainment.

Went in today, it was expensive and not good. Their staff was rude . Also saw one of the employees yelling at some painters who were working there, how rude.

Great service and interesting menu. I tried the Mazapán Latte and it was great. Perfect place to adventure into a modern world crashed with traditional Latin flavors. P.S. I came from Denver and gave it a tried to add to my LA experice.

On a busy main street and parking may be hard to find at times but overall a cute place for some good coffee. We have had their dulce de leche latte and some of their frapps, horchatta and mazapan and caramel. Very tasty! Service can be slow sometimes when only one barista is there taking the orders and making the drinks.

Cool little spot, great atmosphere, classy design in the inside with awesome Latin American decor. Mocha mexicano is good, mazapán frappe is delicious and cafe de Hoya(back, no milk or creamer)is the best and my all time favorite.Only downside is they closed at 10p.m. Please extend to midnight or at least 11p.m. On Fridays

Coffee is good. Tables are available with outlets. Only problem is, baristas see have no end in their loud conversation and incessant laughing.

If youre not a fan of coffee they also have this drink called a steamer, and its like milk but tastes like what you order. For example, i usually get the caramel steamer and that drink is amazzzing!

Coffee, was good better. Customer service, could have been better. We told them we came all the way from Fresno and it was our Friends birthday and they could care less. Just saying. I showed them the picture on Instagram that I wanted as my drink. On Instagram, it showed cinnamon sticks, coconut and whipped cream. My coffee did not have that. They said it was for pictures only. Those items were a choking hazard SMH. Their menu online looks like an amazing place to have coffee and hang out. There were no chairs or tables set up. They had three bakery items and it was a big disappointment. For our trip.
