He was very nice, straight to the point and helped us get into a truck my husband wanted. He went above and beyond to help us stick within our budget a month as well. From the first call that I made miss Patty greeted me kindly. She helped me out to know exactly what I needed to bring in to be able to drive out with my truck. When I got there a few days later I went to the dealership and was greeted by Tiny, who helped me out picking out the right truck for my needs. Then the manager Richard has been great as well. Three days after I purchased my truck the check engine light came on. I was thinking the worse, I thought I bought a used car Im on my own, but I decided to give them a call. Richard told me to bring it right in they would check it out. I had already taken it to autozone to see what it was and they told me it was the thermostat. Easy fix, so then I took it to Richard they told me the same thing. He told me to bring it in the next day and change it out. So I go in the next day they have it ready to change out, and they call there mechanic Moon. When he comes back and tells me it was a small leak in the hose, but he fixed it and bought the new thermostat as well. All in all great dealership great people and friendly vibe. I will recommend all my family and friends to come see the great people at Lone Star Motors.

Purchased a vehicle 2 MONTHS AGO... We still havent received our new state inspection or license plates. We called - they couldnt tell us when they will be in saying theres a delay out of their hands. Now we have to drive 3 hours to get another temporary paper plate that they think will take us through another 45 days. No credit to us or reimbursing for the inconvenience - Just running around and wasted gas/time/miles- So our vehicle can stay on the road. Giving two stars because it was easy to purchase but will I ever get real plates? Or a clean title lol?

Complete bait and switch. I found a 2012 Acadia on Facebook with 119,000 miles, for $7,500. Drove across town to check it out they said they sold it a week ago, which was funny because the day before is when JOSE said they still had it. (According to the guy I spoke to Jose had done this before) they asked if Id like to see the older Acadia its the 2008 with 165,000 miles, I asked what the price on it would be and they said the same price as the newer one would have been with less miles!!! That I called them out on but I decided to just check it out because I was there. As I was looking at this 2008 Acadia I noticed the seat had a really familiar and particular crease in it, so I pulled up the ad that I had been looking at for days. Yep the EXACT. SAME. ONE. Because it was the exact same car. At that point I realized they were not trustworthy and I couldnt trust that anything in their lot would be anything what they said it would be.

Never buy a car from them. They repoed my car ... Yes that part is fully my fault.but... when I called to get my belongings from inside the car I was told nothing was in there... Keep giving me the run around and now wont return my calls. Asked to speak with the owner and they told me he doesnt speak customers.Someone stole all my stuff and now wont do anything about it. Crooks.

Absolute worst car buying experience ever!!! These people are devious thieves!!!!! I found the car I really wanted, called them, told them what kind of down payment I had and they told me to come in, that they could work with that to get me what I wanted. When I show up to purchase the car they tell me its not enough for that one but they can give me a second choice....so I chose another car. Make my down payment, and they tell me I need to pay the taxes within one month, which by the way are about a third of what they are asking me to pay. On the contract this is titled deferred downpayment taxes are also listed on this contract at a much lower amount. So now I need to come up with another $800 in 30 days but I also need to drive off in this car since I truly need it, so I agreed. Jump forward 30 days and I have half of this additional amount and ask the owner Richard for 2 more weeks to pay the remainder along with the first payment, because I can better afford to pay it then. He tells me he needs the full amount or hes picking up the car. Being I cant give him the full amount that day and hes not willing to work with me, I tell him hes going to have to pick up the car but I want my down payment back so that I can buy another car.....I need a car!!! He says sure, theyll bring you a check when they come pick up the car. He waits 2 days to pick it up and doesnt send a check. So if you want to buy a car from some lying thieves, these are your people.

They did my husband and i very good. They have the up most kind and respectful people working there. They work with you not against you. My husband has talked to Richard more then once over the phone and in person and he is the most understanding person and he will help you out.

I got a truck from this place and within 3 weeks the brakes where rubbing metal to metal and the engine blew...I paid for brakes and figured since i hadnt even paid my first car note or had the truck a month and the salesman told me hed cover the engine and transmission until the first car note that they would fix it but they wanted to finance half and i come up with half upfront. Long story short Im seeking legal counsel from a few prominent attorneys in Houston about this situation and have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. I WOULDNT SUGGEST THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY. UNTRUSTWORTHY AND SCAMMERS I WAS TOLD THE TRUCK I WANTED WAS SOLD THE DAY BEFORE I GOT THERE BUT FOUND IT IN A LOT DOWN THE STREET.

Lone star motors is one of the best car sales place. There extravagant on getting u into a car or truck of your choice, with minimal down payment. Tiny is very flexible on payments. Not a problem if ur a week late, as long as u catch up payments within the month or call and let them know your situation. I would definitely do buissness with these guys again.

Take a trusted mechanic if your buying a vehicle from them. Have had nothing but problems or truck and them and office personal on the phone are rude. You would think if you payed thousands of dollars down you would get better service. Going to a true dealership from now on!!

I bought a car from them in March 2017 they told me the car was fine but it wasnt soon I turn my a/c on it was knocking and my brakes was shaking too. So I called them to see if they will be able to fix it and they had there person who fix on cars. Then when I picked it up they said it was nothing wrong with the car. Then the car is too much they had it priced like it was a 2017 car but its a 2013 car. Now one of there sales person had known somebody that do car insurance we get the insurance without knowing that the VIN# that they sales person had gave to his friend was the wrong VIN# so I was paying for March thur June for somebody car insurance. And when I called yesterday 07/12/17 they said O the last 4 of the VIN# is wrong. Then the sales person friend messed up the insurance dating me and him was married . I NEVER seen this man in my life. So I advised to bring your own person who know how to fix on cars really well to help you so you wont be buying a messed up car.

My husband bought me a 2007 Escalade from here with in house financing came out to 27,282 we gave a 5000 down payment I live in Baytown which is about 30mins away it’s kind of hard to go out there every two weeks which is there policy, well I missed two payments due to having to put work in the truck check engine light was on since we bought it and was told it was nothing that couldn’t be fixed will we invested some money and still couldn’t get the light to come off, diff take a trusted mechanic, my husband did call to set up an arrangement to pay the full amount that was owed for Friday well as I’m at the doctors office with my 7month old daughter on that Thursday I’m walking out with my daughter in my arms and I see them taking the truck as I try to get the guys attention being that my car seat and belongings were in there, he did stop just to leave me on the side of the road with all my stuff I couldn’t believe my eyes. as I’m calling my husband to let him know what was going on he called lone star and the guy that he had spoken too did not relay the message about the arrangement for payment to the financial lady that sits in the front, moral of the story i would give no stars

I purchased a vehicle from Lone Star Motors the owner (Richard Felty) gave me a 2 week warranty on the engine and transmission. The car caught on fire 2 days before the warranty would expire and now he is wanting more money down to get into another vehicle but Im out of 700.00 cash and no car. The car was paid off by my insurance company for the blue book value but hes telling me that hes willing to put me in another car but I have to come up with more money down...THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!! HE IS NOT HONORING HIS WARRANTY...his salesman Tiny is also full of game and gimmick. BEWARE OF LONE STAR MOTORS -

My boyfriend purchased a truck from this location. We understand buying a used truck will come with some draw back however they completely ripped us off. The truck has two different back lights the stereo didnt work after a few days. After a week with the truck it turned off on us on our back from grocery shopping. We called Lonestar and turns out they new it needed a new pump or hose but they still let us drive off like this. The trucks mufflers fell off on the highway one day when my boyfriend was driving home from work. I could go on and on and on. They suck! Do not purchase anything from this dealership.

This place is a scam The Fat manager Tiny trues to use his size as an intimidation tactic since he lacks any true intelligence. They are scammers they dont do any types of checks on their cars. I spoke with a guy who had to change his brakes and rotors 2 weeks after getting a car and a day after they returned the car, THE ENGINE LOCKED UP...THEY WANTED HIM TO PAY FOR IT ALL APPARENTLY, before he even made a first car payment.

Went there a couple days ago, bought a chevy tahoe. I have to say the sales people and management were awesome. They worked with us on the down payment and the monthly payment I wanted to be at to get into the car I wanted.

Good looking vehicles but they do not check suspension drive train bought a truck drove great for a few weeks and the whole front end needs replacing the brakes were shot it would have costed them 700 dollars to fix it now I gotta spend 1400 to get it fixed upper and lower ball joint tie rods and steering arm basicly whole front end the reason for a 3 is be cause the customer service is great as for mechanics I give them 0 stars unless management is telling them not to fix things I no used cars and trucks have there problems but people would pay off more cars if used car dealerships put a couple of more dollars into there vehicles

One of the WORST WORST place to buy a car, CUSTOMER SERVICE TO THE BRINK of disaster. Got two work cars so we would not put miles on our trucks, we dont like to pay every 2 weeks which makes no sense doing that, so we told the sales person we wanted a monthly payment and they said that was fine, but the contract says every two weeks, they have no online system, or pay over the phone. My 2 last payments were deliver to the car lot in front of them, and that car lot was nice enough to called them and advice them that the checks were there, nobody ever went for them, then like 4 weeks later, Chuck and Jack start calling our cell phones and leaving threaten voicemail messages about if we did not call them by 6:00 pm they would have to cars repo. Sorry CHUCK AND JACK, theres Federal and State Laws to protect consumers with these type of mama and papa car dealers. Chuck was being recorded and threaten me about the repo and I dare him to pick up the cars, he said I will pick them up when I want to. So I contacted our Attorney and send them a certified letter and a email to them and they have refuse to send a copy of payments on the accounts, and the certified letter came back to us as Refusal. Next step is just to go to court on harassment and threaten voicemails and we pay our bills every month, we have the ledger from our bank with payments sent to them and they have cashed them. Yea Chuck will see what a judge says...THATS WHY I SAID WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, WHEN YOUR ON THE LOT LOOKING THERE YOUR BEST FRIEND BUT ONCE THAT CONTRACT IS SIGN MOVE OVER CUASE YOUR NOTHING TO THEM.AND I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PUT ONE STAR ON THIS...BUT I GIVE THEM NONE WHAT SO EVER.
