Don’t waste your time getting service for your phone through AT&T in South Lake Tahoe. GO TO VERIZON in South Lake Tahoe ! If you choose AT&T your service will never work, nobody can help you get the service you paid for to work, you can’t get a refund, you will be screwed. You will end up speaking to someone in Asia 3 times a week for 30 minutes at a time having them run troubleshooting that will never work ! You will get new SIM cards and your service will still not work ! You will get a new phone and your service will still not work. The only way your service will work is if you go to Verizon ! I’ve been a loyal customer with AT&T for 13 years and spent over $10,000 dollars with them not including all the phones I have bought through them. I have had such horrible service and customer service with AT&T. I am never going back to AT&T. Verizon is the way to go.

Trying to get a new phone was a total pain. I had to leave and come back since they could not add me as some bs to the account. The first guy was completely wrong about the inventory.
I want to give Gabrielle a 5 Star review for giving me straight up info on how I could replace my iPhone 6 battery thru Apple’s recall even though he gains no commission on it. He answered all my questions, so I could choose the best option. So refreshing to speak with a rep who has a clue‼️👍🏼😘
The store was very clean & I think his name was Max, he was very helpful with upgrading my phone. I was in and out in about 20 minutes.

This store did not do what they said they were going to do. They cancelled a line but never let ATT know they did. Caused issues on my bills. The store is a waste of time.
This place is great! The products on display are kept very neat which you can tell the employees put detailed attention to their potential sales. In addition, you can tell the staff does extensive research regarding the products in the store considering the knowledge they have and how fast and accurate they can answer all your question. I came here during black friday weekend and not even knowing they had great deals and it was immediately offered to me. I was helped by Gabriel, who was very patient with me considering I had to make two trips due to self inflicted funding issues (black friday, enough said) going back and forth to the bank. So far, I got two note 9s and a hydrogen one from this place at a great deal!
I had a long wait but then had great service. Coming from out of the country I needed a SIM card while in the Tahoe area and they set me up.
If I could give them zero stars I would. Worst customer service I have ever received. Completely lied to at the point of sale regarding the insurance policy for my phone and then the manager was unwilling to help in any way and even threatened me with police force after I told him it might be better for me to come talk to him in person. After all that he refused to give me his store number and was a complete smart-a##.
I would give them a lower rating if possible. These guys are scam artists. They charged $200 to my credit card and did not put it on my phones and refused to admit it because their receipt says it was applied to the phone. Also purchased a phone for a friend there and when we got home found that it didnt work. We took it back the next day and they refused to even exchange it for a new one or refund the money. I do business at a number of other AT&T stores and all of the others would have immediately resolved these issues. Save yourself a lot of grief and use a different store or a different carrier.
Geoff was awesome. He was patient, knowlegable, and a pleasure to work with. I will request him in the future for my cell phone needs.

Went to Tahoe for a holiday from Australia, my phone broke so I went to this store to buy a new phone, I made sure to check with them I was able to unlock it when I got back home to Australia and they assured me I would be fine to go into my providers store when I got home and they would be able to unlock it for me.. This is not the case.. Optus cannot unlock it as it is an American brand and when I got in contact with At&t they told me there was nothing I can do as they cannot give me a code to unlock my network until Ive had it and been using it for 6 months! Thats not fair as I only bought it so I could take it back home with meDo not buy phoness from this storeThey will con you into buying a phone
