We passed by Free Bird and could smell the heavenly chai from outside. My fiancé was dying to try the chai tea after eating at the Greek restaurant next door, and boy we were not disappointed!! Hands down the best chai tea we have ever had! The barista was super kind and attentive. He wanted to make sure the chai was to our liking. My fiancé wanted the chai to be just a tad sweeter and asked for a little sugar. The barista actually told us that he does not use sugar to sweeten his drinks, but uses vanilla. Even the bottle of vanilla looked like a premium product. We were so glad we stopped by Free Bird. We will definitely be back.We were lucky to get one of these chai bottles to go, and be able to make at home. All you do is add your choice of milk at a 1:1 ratio. You will not be disappointed!

Their chai is spicy and not overly sweet. I got the dirty chai and it was delicious. I also got the hummus bagel and it was perfect.

Very much a local love kind of vibe. 2 locations. friendly super on point staff. Roots chai is my favorite and their smoothies are always a really great treat. About 5-10 to heavenly shops well worth the short drive or on the way to camp Richardson or emerald bay

Hands down the best cafe in South Lake! Forget Whole Foods and Jamba Juice....if you want a delicious smoothie, coffee or tea with quality organic nourishing ingredients, this is your jam. Sumo the owner and his team are awesome. Its not a trip to South lake without a stop at Free Bird! Try the cacao bliss....youll thank me later :)

These guys have the best chai in town! I usually go to the location closer to my house, but whenever Im in the neighborhood I pop in for some good eats and some great drinks (I love their dirty chai, made with a shot of espresso)!

Oh my dear their bagels are celestial and coffee is tasty too. The customer service is like a warm and comforting hug.

Ordered a dirty chai with almond milk. Tasted like they subbed water for the milk. Definitely disappointed after reading all the good reviews. Cannot recommend.

Dont be turned away by the fact that its Not a grab-and-go place, because its busy enough for a 15min wait - we ordered 2 bagels, a cold brew, and roots chai. The roots chai is definitely the most insteresting chai Ive ever had, not exagerating. Numerous roots balance out the whole milk I chose, very textured sip. The black cold coffee was surprisingly yummy, with 2 out of 2 votes here. Dont really count on sitting there to eat
