Typical Starbucks with indoor and outdoor seating areas. No drive through. Very friendly and courteous staff. Located in large shopping center. Parking not an issue. As in all Starbucks wifi is free and fast.

Coffee was really good apple crisp veti, and the smoke bacon eeg sandwich was delicious

Great place tucked in just off the road as you got towards stateline.

Good news is that it opens at 5am.The bad news for this early-rising coffee junkie is that they dont make dark roast until 7am - WHAT? The coffee equivalent of a fast food chain is usually better than this. Barista, if you want to call her that, insisted on calling a medium coffee a grande - so pretentious of Starbucks to invent their own names for sizes, but most Starbucks employees dont beat you over the head with it. Tomorrow Ill wait until 6am and go to Black Cabin Coffee instead.

We didn’t know the closing times, our fault, but thankfully we were still able to get in and then we had a cashier with the most impolite attitude! We get it, it’s closing time, but they were so impolite, she had a rainbow mask, and she made us feel REALLY unwelcome. Really unwelcome! Nice location, ample parking. Variety of stores around. 2 bathrooms at this location and there is outdoor seating. They do have Lake Tahoe mugs so go get em!

Worst Latte and worst Mocha Ive ever got in Starbucks. The Mocha tasted like kids chocolate milk and the Latte... it was just milk. Check your order before pick up or even better, go across the street to the other Starbucks.

A very good Starbucks branch. I’m not a big Starbucks fan but the staff here were very good with the orders. Came regularly during my trip to Tahoe and the staff was always very friendly and almost never messed up the orders. It’s also the best coffee shop I found in the South Tahoe area, so do have to give it 5 stars easily

I came here to get something warm to eat and drink. My cravings were definitely taken care of and my belly comforted :). I had an almond milk hot chocolate which was not overly sweet and very enjoyable. I also ordered an oatmeal which was really good. I love that the oatmeal here is a decent amount (probably 3/4 to a whole cup) with healthy toppings. The traditional oatmeal is my fav. If there were dried strawberries on the side it would even make it better! Yum!

Love this Starbucks. In the Raley’s parking lot which is convenient to pop in and out before skiing at Heavenly. Baristas are so nice and manage the crowds really well. Five stars for service, products, cleanliness and accessibility. I just didn’t give 5 stars becauseThey didn’t have good indoor seating even before the lock down. And it’s usually freezing and snowing 6 months out of the year.

We had a big order and the barista working around 8:45am made every drink perfectly from adding that extra scoop of strawberries to making sure the coffee’s had the perfect about of syrup! i wanted to tip him but he was making sure everyone else’s drinks were perfection.

Not sure if because I was speaking Spanish but it seems like did not like my Spanish group! We politely greet them thank you as we left but they completely ignore us !I am going to believe that it was a misunderstanding and the coffee is great !

Worth the walk to another coffee shop. Trash coustomer service. I understand your busy. But if someone gets oatmeal they need a fork or spoon, if someone has two coffees and 2 baked goods they might need a tray or a bag. Its so busy here cause its managed poorly. Bad layout. They make all the bake goods and let them stack up then being about 10 out at once

No no no no, drive a bit more and take yourself to the Starbucks inside of Safeway just a few mins away. Rude service, some red head starbucks worker with attitude can ruin your day instantly. Save your mood and day and get your coffee fix elsewhere, you wont regret it. Had to endure that attitude for 1 reason only, i had promised a friend a mug and it was the absolute the last top we could do on our way back to socal. Smh

They fill the mobile drinks first and they sit there either going flat or getting cold. They had about 30 mobile drinks while I waited 45 minutes for mine. One person who ordered after me, in line, was given his beverage before me. They dont call out the names at all as the in-house orders come out.I asked the barista if any of the venti drinks could be mine and she told me that they were all mobile. Fifteen minutes go by and a guy barista asked me for my name. I told him and he gave me my Americano from the ones that had been sitting with the mobile orders. It was now luke warm. They didnt even asked me if I wanted sugar or creamer. Just handed it to me, turned around and went about his business.Not cool at all. They need one person to call out names and deliver the beverages. The manager needs to tweak the system a bit. Yes, they are jamming, but the flow needs work because they are causing customers to be upset. Ill just go elsewhere. Theres another Starbucks right behind my hotel, less than a block away.

So sad because I’m local and I really like this location but today I came in for my morning coffee (my favorite cold brew) and was met with poor service. I placed a mobile order at 9:06am. It said prep was 3-7 minutes. At 9:17am I asked if it was ready. They said they were “still working on it”. I figured they were busy so I sat back and waited. I asked again at 9:27am, same answer. 9:31am coffee came out. 25 minutes to poor a cold brew!! And everyone walked by and looked at that mobile ticket. So should the prep time be updated for mobile orders? Disappointed in you Starbucks.

This was a very pleasant experience. Our wait was really short, and the drink was perfect. Thats not always been the case, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Extremely busy. With that, its built as a standard Starbucks so they are only as efficient as the quantity of equipment. With so much business, they should relocate and expand in order to keep up with the pace of business. Otherwise, the customer service was great. I had a large order that was filled without mistake. Just plan to stay a while to receive your drinks.

Nice visit this afternoon. Cheerful employees enjoying doing their jobs. Was able to decompress with a Grande Cold Brew and Classic Coffee Cake. Everything was great! I’ll be back.

This is probably the best Starbucks in town out of the few that we have. It does however usually have a Queue. Drinks are good and consistent. Remember to bring your own reusable cup!

Went in this morning. Quite busy but only a handful of people ahead in line, 5 mins to order. What I didnt realize is how many people where milling around waiting for drinks. Between the mobile orders and the people ahead of me it took over 26 minutes to get a cappuccino and a latte. Ironically I had just run the Tahoe 5k and it took me less time to get across the finish line than to get my coffee. I get that stores can be busy but if the cashier had told me Id be waiting close to a half hour for my drink I would have gone elsewhere. A hostess at just about any restaurant can do that, why not here? Disappointing.

Have fun paying the $55 parking ticket if you stay in the lot for over 2 hours. Itd be nice if Starbucks made an attempt to inform their customers that the city if South Lake WILL give you a ticket.

They moved pretty quick but I visited on a holiday weekend and the wait was about 30 mins. The staff quality and fast its just too busy a place when events are going on. Only rating a 4 to tell folks to visit one of the other less busy Starbucks or (preferably) some place local.

So the starbucks was ok, they had someone new who was training. I found out they charge me extra for an out of season drink that has 1 fewer ingredient and takes no extra time to make. I also saw a sign posted for carcinogenic ingredients in their coffee and not going to be ordering anytime soon. I posted the sign and dont know why this wouldnt be at other coffee shops unless Starbucks has specific ingredients that other places dont use. Still love their snacks, baked goods, etc. Now Im curios how many things that they sell have those ingredients though.

Okay honestly Starbucks is hit or miss with me when it comes to their products and Im usually not the type of person to ask for a different drink. That being said I really hate the taste of mocha (you can tell me its just chocolate but it tastes different it does NOT taste like chocolate) and I ordered a drink that I didnt know had mocha in it and when I asked for the same drink without mocha in it youd think I was a complete idiot the way the girl asked me so what do you want? Starbucks employees act like we should just know whats inside all the drinks and then act rude when we dont instead of trying to help solve the issue and its really frustrating.

Customer service here is definitely lacking, also it’s Starbucks, so I usually expect the consistency to be pretty balanced out, this last time I came here the people at the counter gave me so much attitude, so I should have known they were going to mess up my coffee, super disappointed & wont be back.

Store seems nice enough. However I think this location gets too much tourist traffic. The few times Ive gone there, there must have been 20 or 30 people waiting. It only works if you have a mobile order.Staff seems nice but under the gun due to the large number of people that can show up.
