Recently moved to New Jersey and this place was highly recommended by my insurance provider. Was pleasantly surprised to get an appointment the very next day due to a cancellation.The place itself was super clean, people wore masks the entire time. Dr. Koppel was very friendly, respectful and made me feel at ease.They also went through my insurance plan in detail and suggested which frames/lens would be best suited for me. At the end of the day, I knew exactly what I paid for which is not the case in a lot of places.This is definitely going to be my go-to spot for my vision care!

Everyone was very nice, the store was clean and I was seen on time. The eye dr was super friendly and interactive, she gave good information.My only issue was when I proceeded to the desk to pick out glasses, the woman automatically directed me to a section of a certain price level when there were obviously other lower level prices. Didnt care for that. Otherwise, Id go back as well as recommend this place.

Excellent experience at EyeKrafters on June 26, 2021, re: my husband’s eye exam and re: my eye exam on July 1, 2021, both with Dr. Bonnie Rosenberg. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and thorough. We had not had our eyes checked for about two years, due to our long-term eye doctor’s retirement just before the pandemic. We had some anxiety about slight changes in our vision - and Dr. Rosenberg gave us peace of mind with her explanation and her prescriptions during the exam. Everyone on the staff is very professional and so considerate of patients. The optical shop is immaculate and the opticians are so knowledgeable and helpful with working with you concerning insurance and eyewear selection. Impressive array of designer and standard frame styles! They also give you the option of updating your lens prescription in a pair of beloved older frames if you’re willing to sign a waiver on breakage.I chose two pairs of prescription sunglasses (see photos of 1 pair - Guess frames - love the animal print on the temples - and chose to update the prescription lenses In my favorite tortoise shell Polo Ralph Lauren frames (signed the waiver). I need my annual eye exam and heard great things about this place. They were kind and attentive. Service was great. Nina did a great job explaining my options. Dr Rosenberg was efficient and thorough. Very affordable too. Whole staff was upbeat which is nice to see these days.

My visit was great as usual but this time I had the pleasure to meet Polina. She took her time going through my insurance to make sure I was getting the best deal! She had recommendations for me and she was honest to me in regards to the looks of the frames on me :) I ended up getting these beautiful glasses thanks to her patience with me. Dr. Koppel must be really wonderful - but I never got to experience an appointment at EyeKrafters because the staff was so rude on the phone. I could barely say two sentences without having been put on hold, transferred, or cut off. Having a friendly staff office is just as important as being a great optometrist.

I have been going to Dr. Koppel ever since I was a teenager. He prescribed me my first set of eye glasses and his staff taught me how to wear my contact lenses. I need to say they are the friendliest and most caring Dr office I have been too. I didnt come for four years and they still remembered me and gently reminded me about the importance of yearly eye exams. The office is clean and following all covid protocols. The opticians take the time to explain every test to the patient. They even have good taste in eye glasses and make sure to follow up with insurance. I definitely recommend this place.

My daughter and I have been seeing Dr.Kapal for years she is 12 🤗🤗 Marylynn is great and the rest of the staff are very patient and kind also. Pet friendly but very clean environment. I don’t have a pet but it’s cool how they have it🤗

I have been coming here for many years. I honestly was not pleased when I made my appointment and said this may be my last time (being put on hold, waiting and being hung up on, felt like I was a burden by making an appointment). I work in medical so I understand we all have bad days and I am happy to say our appointment made up for it. I have never had the provider I had and she was so personable and informative. She answered all of our questions, we didn’t feel rushed and she was so sweet. My daughter opted for contacts and Marilyn was so helpful that it made the process less stressful than I anticipated. Everyone in the office was pleasant and I’m happy I didn’t let a call deter me from the good care I’ve been getting all these years !

Rudest place ever. They treat the customers as they want to treat. With some they are nice and with some they are rude. No sense of customer service.I am going here from two days. Once they kicked me out when there lunch timings was written wrong on the door. When I pointed the person didn’t even knowledge that the window says two times.Then went there second day but same attitude. I thought day 1 maybe things didn’t go well but day 2 was same. The guy in blue uniform keeps complaining “low employees” but he himself is sitting or just moving around clueless.One of lady who with glasses is still doing work attending people. Other lady I think is the most rudest of all. She keeps saying I am helping other but those who are waiting will do what. They’re are 5 employees in store and two customers and one is waiting.How many people they need to cater to 3 customers.Worst place to go ever.

The doctor Patel is very good 5 stars for the doctor but the agents outside are very rude and very very unprofessional . Just walked out because of their behavior please learn some customer service .Guys I hope u guys are not working for free . Right from the time u enter u can feel the same . This is second time for me and they argue with customers too, please doctor look into this, the guy who examines is good rest all are very very rude right from the receptionist to particularly the young lady who shows the glasses . Dr. Patel is fantastic. Very sweet and walks you through every step of the visit. The front desk/sales employees are definitely less than pleasant at times, not only towards the patients but towards members of clinical staff as well. I can’t imagine being rude to the doctor in front of patients as a front desk employee. I was afraid to leave without purchasing glasses from them after seeing one lady get screamed at for simply walking in with a coupon. Dr. Patel was so sweet that even her scary front desk staff will not prevent me from coming back! Highly recommend the doctors at this location, I had seen Dr. Koppel in the past. Maybe it was just a rough Saturday morning for the front of house.

It was a wonderful visit. I was not there since 2016 and they were even better . They made me feel at home by the way I was treated and the Doctor was wonderful. I was nervous going but she made me feel so comfortable. I recommend them to everyone .

I made my first appointment with EyeKrafters. It was with Dr. Koppel. EyeKrafters sent me an incredible number of confirmation texts and emails for weeks before, and even a call the day before, the scheduled appointment with Dr. Koppel. They were so numerous it was actually annoying. However, when I actually got there to the office a Dr. Patel examined me - not Dr. Koppel. So I was sort of really ticked off because there was not any mention whatsoever of the change beforehand.However, Dr. Patel was GREAT. She was very professional and thorough. Moreover, she was exceedingly friendly and explained everything she was doing. She took time to completely answer all of my questions. In fact. In her responses she took the time and made the effort to find diagrams, photos and other materials to help me understand the technical aspects of her explanations.I am 74 years old and have been to a wide variety of medical specialists in my life. Definitely, Dr. Patel is one who clearly stands out as a highly caring and expert physician. Few reached her level of enthusiasm to make certain I understood what she was telling me.Dr. Patel is just great!

Dr. Rosenberg did an outstanding job. A tribute to the medical profession. I had a horrible pain in my eye. By chance I also had to get a Covid test in the same mall. When I parked my car, I looked up and saw the Koppel Rosenberg practice in Eyekrafters. I walked in they were very kind and professional and set me up with an appointment immediately that day. Dr. Rosenberg carefully diagnosed the problem after checking my eyes, assured me of the course of treatment and allayed my concerns. I will go back for a follow up and am confident that her diagnosis and prescribed treatment will be successful and rapid. Thanks again!!!

EyeKrafters. You have so many reviews telling you that your front desk personnel are rude. Please listen and do something about it.This one-star reflects the fact that theyve been such a weak point in your service. Possibly the only weak point, but a forefront, damaging weak point. Your front desk personnel are the first interaction with potential new customers, and theyve just driven off another one before even getting to the appointment.

The Dr was absolutely great! The office staff was horrible. Was not greeted when I first walked in. I went up to the desk to check in and the woman sat there with her head down. Waited a few minutes and finally had to speak up for her to even acknowledge I was standing there. Once I finished with the Dr I was rushed through picking out frames so that they could leave for lunch. I wound up leaving my glasses with them because I became so frustrated with how rude they all were. Very unprofessional, rude, and unpleasant office staff. Some people do not belong working in customer service.

I appreciate the cleanliness and taking Covid seriously. The appointment reminder calls are great. Dr. Koppel has helped me with my dry eye issues and they have improved significantly.I can always buy reliable eye care products here as well, instead of hoping a product works from the usual store(s).

I absolutely adore this place. My son has ADHD and Autism. He is so afraid when going to any doctor. This office not only makes him comfortable and happy but they also have a fur baby that my son absolutely melts over. I am very lucky to have found this place. Such an amazing and fun staff. EyeKrafters staff is very friendly and accommodating. I felt I was in good hands and the pre-tests and exam were handled with expert care. They strictly followed a code of conduct for Covid-19 which was comforting. My only regret was not being able to try on glasses without a mask; I decided to wait or probably look elsewhere for frames; its hard to know how a pair is going to look when youre wearing a mask.

My Father and I went in for an eye exam. Everything was great. the front staff was really great and helpful. However the issue was when we went inside for our eye exam. Dr.Patel insisted on having us use the eye drops for checking the eye pressure, inspite of letting her know our family doctor had advised against this and ESPECIALLY SINCE MY FATHER WAS UNCOMFORTABLE WITH HAVING ANYTHING PUT INSIDE HIS EYES. She went ahead and called the Head Doctor,I suppose, and at one point we were really made to feel bad and guilty for choosing not to put the eye drops. I THINK A REGULAR EYE CHECK UP HAS A LOT TO DO WITH MAKING THE CUSTOMER FEEL COMFORTABLE AND THIS WAS DEFINITELY A VERY BIZZARE UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATION. I would not recommend anyone come in here, it was a very unpleasant experience. The 2 stars is only because the admin staff was really nice and helpful, if not for them I would have given this 1 star or maybe even a negative. !

I came here for my contacts and Marilyn was very patient with me while I learned to put them in and take them out. She encouraged me the entire time until I finally became comfortable with my contacts, the staff here is very friendly I really recommend it!

We would like to say a huge thank you to the doctors and especially to Doctor Lior Koppel for the care and super professional help to my husband. We arrived with a severe chemical burn to the eye and we were first met by Polina, very professional, friendly and besides she speaks Russian, which made us very happy. Immediately my husband received the help of doctors and prescribed good treatment. Several days have passed and my husbands eyes no longer hurt and can see well. Thank you very much Polina for being our translator and assistant. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted with what kindness they treated us. In addition, the prices are very pleasant here. Never would recommend. The doctor was too much salesy. She wanted my doctor to have two pair of glasses with different powers! We already had a pair which was recent one and I wouldnt have bought a new pair rather change the lenses. They said they have pediatric specialist, but didnt even have the chair or devices that would fit for kids.

Very clean and positive environment. Easy to tell that all the employees like to be there and made it very welcoming for all the clients. Wait time was extremely fast since it was by appointment only and there is a friendly and ADORABLE dog that was in there! I came in for an eye exam that went by very quickly and Dr. Koppel made me feel comfortable throughout the whole test. I even picked out an awesome pair of glasses with the help of one of the employees.

Had a very bitter experience with a old receptionist lady. Being respectful for her age, I do not want to add more details here and willing to blame the pandemic stress for her attitude. We immediately walked out complaining about her behavior. But a very polite professional staff Polina, apologized for the receptionist behavior and helped us in choosing the frame and also contacts. Appreciate and thanks to Polina!!. She made EyeKrafters not loose our business that day. They do have very nice collection of frames and I have purchased frames from them before.

I wish the gentleman who conducts my eye exam was pleasant. He always seems a speck annoyed, it doesn’t hurt to be friendly or ask throughout the process if I am well. Though, he is not my problem. The people at the front desk are not welcoming. Eye Crafters are conveniently located near my home, but I hope to seek a place where I feel welcomed and appreciated by all the staff. However, Dr. Rosenberg and the sweet lady who exhibited my choices in glasses were very considerate and polite. It is such a shame the entire staff does not reflect their ways of being. Every-time I depart the building, I feel disdained. I hope that things change and service will improve their poor, subpar norms. I pay generous money and believe I deserve a more kind approach.

Today was my first visit and experience here and i have to say it was the best experience I had seeing an eye doctor. First the receptionist Marilyn was more than accommodating and helpful with helping me get an appointment. She was patient and very welcoming, protect this woman at all costs!! She was the best. Eye Kraft Medical Optic is highly recommended for family eye care. Dr. Lior Koppel is the original founder. My family and I have known him for many years. I have my eye examination and eyeglasses made here. Dr. Bonnie Rosenberg is an excellent eye doctor. She was very patient with me during my eye examination. The technician(Mike) who did screening tests of my eyes was great. Paulina and Patrick were very helpful in assisting me to select my eyeglass frame. The whole staff were very helpful and nice.

The staff was friendly and very organized. I called when I arrived. Following guidelines there were limited amounted of people in the office. My visit lasted about an hour which is quick. My doctor explained everything she was doing and encouraged me to ask her any questions.

Dr. Patel was so friendly and sweet! They did a great job in making me feel comfortable. I was in and out, no time was wasted. Great costumer services, followed great health guidelines due to covid and great time management.

Ive been going here for years, my experience here has always been great. I just had a training session here yesterday for putting on contacts. Marilyn was incredibly patient with me. It took me about an hour to get them in my eyes. Her tips helped me out a lot, it only took me 15 minutes to put them on today. Thanks Marilyn!

Great doctors but extremely rude staff. I had an appointment for 12:45, arrived on time, due to Covid you are supposed to wait outside, staff doesnt pick up the phone for 15 minutes and then says your appointment will be canceled. I showed them their own calendar, however still didnt get any apology. Will take my business elsewhere after being a customer for 10 years.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Koppel for our eye care needs since moving to South Plainfield. Hes very patient, professional, takes time to explain things and answering our questions. The staff at Dr. Koppels office are also courteous and helpful. I just had my appointment with Dr. Koppel last week, and the extra caution his office took during this pandemic really made me feel comfortable and at ease visiting his office.
