Used this business for the first time today. Very happy as my sisters van had several trouble lights showing on the dash. It was quickly diagnosed as being a bad ignition coil, which they replaced. What made my visit special, however, was that after the repair they took it for a long enough drive to get rid of the trouble lights to be able to do an emissions so the car could be registered. I was shocked that they did that and I was able to pay for the vans registration at the same time. So thoughtful of the other persons time, in this case, my time! Highly recommended!

I was also able to go over the all the options, requirements, and expenses of adding an additional CNG tank to increase my range. Took a used Toyota Rav4 in for a pre-purchase check up at Lancer. The mechanics found a bunch of things wrong with the car immediately and advised me not to buy it. They also didnt charge me since the car was so bad off. Since then, I purchased a different Rav4 and took it to Lancer for new breaks and to fix a broken AC knob. They did all the work for about $400 which was much less than I was expecting, especially since the dealer wanted to charge me $150 for the AC knob fix alone. These guys are very trustworthy and professional. Ill definitely be going back!

Great mechanic and highly recommended. Most of the time when I go to a mechanic I feel that they are laying to me and I feel they make the car worst so I can comeback. Well, that is not the case here. I never feel that way, I feel they care about customer satisfaction and they really know how to fix a car. We came in before the 4th of July weekend. They were busy and booked until the following Tuesday. When we told Josh we were just in SLC one day to look at a possible vehicle purchase and wanted an independent mechanics opinion they said they would work us in. Within one hour they took us inWe brought in a 2018 Prius Prime at 10:00 am and they were thorough and knowledgeable about our Prius Prime and the one we will now be selling a 2003 Prius. Best hybrid mechanics in town. I work on my car and theyre extremely helpful with parts and suggestions if youre stuck. One time I couldnt get my car to start after reinstalling my battery. I just called these guys up and the mechanic knew exactly what Id done wrong right away, and it took 2 minutes to fix. And when you do need a big repair, their prices are very good.

Shane was so great to help me understand what my warning lights meant w/o charging me for his time or the equipment he used. Was really grateful for the peace of mind and for someone explaining what to expect and recommendations for what to fix.

Lancer always come through for me. I have them work on my Ford escape hybrid and my F150. They are never afriad to tell me when I would be better off taking my car to the dealer for highly specific repairs or helping me save money. I took my truck in a few weeks ago telling them I needed a $2,000 timing kit replacement. After looking at my told truck they convinced me I was wrong and that it would be a fraction of that price to fix the problem. They could have taken advantage of my ignorance, but instead they did the job right and saved me a lot of money. I have nothing but total trust in lancer with all of my vehicles.

Lancer is hands down one of the most honest and trustworthy establishments Ive ever worked with. I am the nephew of one of the owners, and have always received first-class service on every single visit. So this last time I went in, I decided I would put them to the test. The gentleman who checked me in wasnt my uncle, and I decided not to tell anyone that I was related, just to see if I got similar service. Long story short, the car was done days sooner than other shops quoted, and for less money. Not only that, but they fixed other things they had found for a fraction of the price. Lancer is truly the only mechanic I truly trust, and now know without a doubt that, family or not, you will receive the best care there is to offer.

So all of my brake fluid leaked out of my wheel well and I could not drive. Justin organized a tow for a very reasonable price and then accurately diagnosed the problem. I told him I had the same issue fixed a couple months ago and he even recommended I go back to them to get it fixed on warranty. Justin is a great guy, I will be coming back here due to the perceived honesty.

I have really appreciated the caring approach they have at Lancer. I wasnt real excited when my van started having enough problems that I needed to get on a first-name basis with my mechanic, but they were able to make it run to the point that I didnt need to get anything other than maintenance done for a while. Then I blew the engine going up the canyon on a hot summer day, and was surprised that they still remembered me after all that time! They have stood by their work with guarantees and warranties and helped me make decisions about what needs to be done -- giving me information but no pressure. I trust them and am grateful for their help over the years!

Since Im sitting in the shop getting my truck fixed Ill leave this review.This is the only shop I got to, and pretty much the rest of my family as well. Ive been going to this workshop for quite a while. Taylor has always been upfront about issues, what they can/cant do, and try to make sure you get the best price around and the best work. Im in there quite a bit since I like to break things off-road, but I dont even worry cause I know they fix everything. The Auto mechanics at this shop are smart guys, they know their cars and what to look for. Ive saved thousands going to these guys instead of a dealer and I get much better workmanship.

My dad has taken multiple cars here and highly recommended them, which is why when my car broke down on the side of the freeway I had it towed to them. I do not recommend them for a couple of reasons. They said my car came in with no oil in it. Which is suspicious because when we pulled the dipstick on the side of the road it had oil on it and the level was ok. Now they want 3.5 k from me for a new engine because it has a bad knock. How did I get that knock? Well my car blew a engine seal. They claim they didnt run my car before checking the oil first. My car never had a knock before or on the side of the road. I feel like they just want to see how much money they can pull out of me for their screw up because they ran my car. I paid them for their time diagnosing it and they told me it was drivable. Ya drivable two hundred feet. I had to have my car towed to my house. I WILL NEVER bring any of my cars to them again.

I was initially happy with their service, I needed my natural gas hose removed and the tank depressurized, charged me $90. I come to find out a year later that the tank was never depressurized. When I called to ask if I could resell my tank, they said they would drill a hole in it for $80 so I could scrap it. Called another place and they said they would drill it for free and Lancer was messing with me. They will not be getting my business anymore.

I found out my hybrid battery was failing. I talked to Toyota in Salt lake and they quoted me $3500 to install a new one. I spoke to Taylor at Lancer Automotive group and he was able to install one for half that price plus some other needed maintenance on the car. They were very honest and fast repair. Totally recommend them to anyone.

Lancer has been my family mechanic shop for years. They have wonderful customer service and prices are very acceptable.

Lancer Automotive used to be my go to automotive repair for both mine and my wifes vehicles. They were always the best price and did great work. It seems like a little over a year ago they changed around the structure of the store and hired all new mechanics. Now whenever I call them they are the highest priced and the repair work is barely average. I have questioned their pricing on multiple occasions due to them being more expensive than the dealership and I was told Then I guess you should take your car to the dealership.It is sad to see a great small shop change so much. Maybe they are much more profitable now with this new approach to business but it has cost them me and my family as long time customers.

These guys are quick and great to work with. Theyre honest when explaining the problems or issues my car has, and they explain what needs to be fixed vs. what can wait until later.

This shop replaced my entire timing kit less than a year ago due to a specific code. My truck started throwing the same code and I asked if they could take a look to tell me what was going on. Because it was a couple hundred miles over warranty they wouldnt even look at it for free and didnt provide any tips on what I should even check. The job they did and the parts they put in should last way longer than a year. Very disappointed in the lack of pride in their work and their unwillingness to help out a customer who already spent thousands at their shop.

This the first time in years Ive taken a vehicle to a professional mechanic . Was forced to because of my new to me CNG F-150 . I was geared up for a huge bill but was pleasantly surprised when it came back %80 cheaper than I had budgeted . Even though they were swapmed with holiday work and didnt get to my car for an extra day or two they totally took care of me and didnt charge me for a few extra bits of maintenance that would have added $$$ anywhere else . Super happy and will definitely be taking my CNG Ford truck back for any future needs.

I had scheduled to have a valve adjustment check done as a recommended part of my vehicles 90k service. They had checked out this car for me before I bought it used and given me the thumbs up noting that it would be coming up for its 90k service soon. They gave me a list of items that would be included in that service, of which I was able to handle all but the valve clearance check on my own. I had scheduled to drop the car off on a friday night for them to work on saturday since for this valve check the car has to be sitting completely cooled. I completely missed dropping off the car on a busy friday night, so un-announced, dropped it off sunday to be worked on monday. Justin let me know that they were very busy that day but would do his best to work my car in. As promised, he called with the total, which was paid for over the phone so I could pick the car up after they closed making it so I didnt have to miss even a minute of my normal work schedule to do this.Thanks again Lancer and Justin!I and several other family members have been using and trusting Lancer for years, they have always been upfront, honest and done great work for us.
