As a first time buyer, i was extremely nervous and was turned down by many banks. This was kinda my last resort and i ended up getting exactly what i wanted! Fernando was awesome and very thorough. I purchased a “cash car” aka “trade in liquidation” because it was exactly what I had been looking for & at an affordable price for me. Leo Shivers was the salesman who assisted me. I had no experience at all with this kind of purchase. Leo was very friendly & helpful! He kept in constant communication with me regarding the condition of the car & purchasing process; helped arranged for me to speak to the service dept manager. They were familiar with the car, having done all the oil changes, etc for the previous 8 years. Helped me feel as good (as possible!) about the purchase. Paperwork back & forth was a problem mostly because I couldn’t take care of it in person. I love the car & am satisfied with my purchase!!

I’ve been using LB Sales for 15 years to get my truck repaired and for inspections. I have found them to be honest, quick, SMART specialists that always charged me a fair price.I know what a fair price would be because I have worked on trucks, boats and heavy equipment my whole life. The reason I’m using them is I’m too old to do the work, even on my own truck.They even have a soft drink and coffee machine to ensure the customer wait will be pleasant. 👍

Went in for some warranty work as I am experiencing transmission issues. They wanted a test drive to verify before getting the dealer involved. They couldn’t hear or feel the noise and shudder but focused on other repairs and service. Tone deaf experience. I don’t know how to proceed now for the warranty work.

Have had nothing but good experiences with the Low Book service department. They have consistently went out of their way to explain everything and make sure everything is right. By far the least expensive, best place to get state emissions done.
I had my mind on two dealerships, this one and another one(O.K Auto Sales) a few blocks down for sporty cars, and knew the cars I wanted(Nissan 350z and Mitsubishi Spyder).I visited Low Book Sales first, I told Nick(salesperson) I was interested in the Mitsubishi Spyder, and they said it was a trade-in from another owner and came AS-IS, and since it did, they said they cant finance it(through any bank).I didnt mention I wanted finance, but asked about (me) calling my bank to see if they will approve.I took the Spyder for a test drive, checked for leaks and checked fluids, shifted good, drove even better(could use a tune-up which I can do!), has oil leak but its from the valve cover gaskets which I can fix.Only thing that bothered me was it had NO OIL in it...still ran great tho.I let the salesperson(Nick) know about the NO OIL issue, he was shocked kind of.And since he said they cant finance it, I told him theres another dealership a few blocks away.Thats when Nick asked his boss if the car can be financed, and so they called the bank Im with(America First), had me fill out some paperwork and I got approved!They wanted to do 36 months, but I asked them to make it 48 months, and they did without any pushback.I should have left, went to the other dealership, came back with an offer from that 2nd dealership, perhaps Low Book Sales would have REDUCED the price of the Spyder..but oh well.Low Book Sales says:We dont negotiate the posted price.But I bet they will if youre about to lean more into another dealership.Anyway, Im paying $100/month for the Mitsubishi Spyder.Btw they cleaned up the car, put oil into for me, drove it home 92 miles and it was still good!👍.I will shop with them again if need be.Doing an tune-up right now on the car, and its has been kept well by the previous owners(except for the valve covers that leak oil, easy fix!)Thank you Nick for negotiating to your manager for me! I was afraid I was gonna get a bunch of NOs..but you made it happen brother!
We found what we were looking for and Nick was great. When we got home we discovered a problem with the exhaust pipe and and we talked to Nick and hes taking care of the problem, at least he says, waiting to hear from manager. Would have been nice if when they detailed it they would have topped off fluids as there is no washer fluid.Kudos to Nick Cable.

I am in sales myself and these guys did it right. I desperately needed a new car and have been looking for about a month. I went in to look at a car listed online. II really didnt like it and was about to leave. Nick came over and we started talking. He asked the right questions and then had me test drive another car which did match what I was looking for. This was all after the store closed at 7:00. I liked the car a lot and with the current market I knew if I waited it would be gone. I have some special circumstances that needed to be worked around and they were happy to oblige. They treated me with respect and dignity. Most cars Ive owned Ive bought from private individuals. In fact this is only the 2nd car that Ive bought from a dealer. They made it a very pleasant experience.

Barely lifted a finger to get me financed, then blew me out. Their advertising and claims of financing are not honest or accurate. In the 6 months prior to visiting Low Book Sales I had obtained 2 auto loans from my Credit Union with no problems. I have 45 years of experience working for dealers and have never seen a dealer so uninterested in selling a car. They did not even try their in house lending arm which claims We can finance anyone. They told me I had to get rid of one of my current loans, I made several suggestions that are commonly used in the auto industry to handle this situation (trade in with me repurchasing the car was one) and was told: We dont do that here. Very unimpressed, they talk big but didnt deliver, I guess I will stick with my Credit Union financing in the future and go elsewhere to purchase.
I went here after my car was totaled by someone who ran a stop sign. Neither me or my fiancé have good credit nor do we make a lot of money so I was fully expecting to be denied a loan. Not only did they approve me but they also got me in a 2019 vehicle! I’ve never had a car so new! They will do everything in their power to help you out and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Going to recommend them to everyone I know!

No discounts to Military, Police, or Fire Fighters. That was the first thing that came out of the salesman’s mouth. The second was how they were taking advantage of everyone by raising the price by 8%. I am not joking or kidding that she said this to me. Any dealer that is taking advantage of our short comings in the United States Of America should not go unheard. I did not serve this country for over 24 years for these kind of people. ALL VETERANS UNITE TO NOT BUY!!!

I was looking for a new car, cheap!! I was so discouraged when I began looking, it seemed that even if a car didnt start they wanted an arm and a leg. So I started looking at the car lots. I found the same thing there!! I thought Id just check and see as I knew my credit would not do me any favors. The sales person happened to know of a car that had just came in on a trade. It looked like someone had a food fight 10 years ago in it but I took it for a ride. It wasnt too bad so we asked for it to be cleaned and the cooling system to be fixed if need be. Ill have to do a continue on this one because I still dont have it but hopefully very soon I will. tbc... okay I got the car back the service guy said they had to give me a tire as the one on it went flat and would not hold air but guess what: this one wont hold air either! oh well I am now on the lookout for 4 new/used tires. for some reason they did not have the title and I asked 3 different people about it. I was told someone would call me about that and its been 6 days and still no call. I sincerely hope there is no problems with it as this purchase is beginning to feel a lot like something that is turning into problems. tbc

I took a drive in a death trap. The lifted suspension on their as-is turbo truck was jacked up and when I hit 70 mph while merging on the free way, it nearly whipped me off the road. It was very unstable at 50 mph the whole way back. I told the saleswoman Tasha that it was a disaster waiting to happen, and her response was Thanks for taking the time to come look at it. Have a good rest of your day. She didnt seem to care that it nearly killed me, nor the little cars around me or for my colorful language that followed. Her response was your number will now be blocked... I will let my GM know of the current issues. I checked their listing on KSL, and not only did they upload the pictures to it, but they paid for a spotlight to sell it to an unsuspecting victim a little faster. These guys need their license pulled, what they are doing is completely irresponsible.

I didnt feel any pressure or salesy tactics like you do at most other dealers. He was up front and was able to get us into a great vehicle at a great price.
Good job at the oil change. It took a bit longer than expected especially with just one car before me and the technicians never reset my oil settings in my car to show its at 100%, thats super annoying. Overall nice crew and the front desk dude was great!

Anthony,I just wanted to write you a quick note to let you know about my buying experience with Low Book Auto Sales in SLC. First things first is that Leo Shivers did a great job on following up with me to schedule my appointment and he was very attentive to my questions as we communicated thru text message. I arrived a day earlier than my scheduled appointment as my schedule freed up. Leo was very professional as we discussed the buying process with Low Book. It was kind of comical to see him trying to climb into the back seat. of the 2 door jeep wrangler. When we returned from the test drive I had some concerns on what appeared to be an oil leak and a missing bolt as Leo pointed out that your service team spends 8 hours on every vehicle performing the used car check over. I was introduced to a gal from your service department I cant recall her name but she was very professional and she assured me that the vehicle was in great working order and what I thought was an oil leak was just residual oil from the filter housing. I questioned this as I thought the oil filter was under the vehicle like my previous Jeep. I was not sure if that was correct but she right and I wish I wish I would have had a chance to speak with her when I was leaving on Friday to tell her thanks. Leo and this young lady did a great job.JOB WELL DONE!Update: on 8/26/21 I had to take my vehicle back to the dealership because the radiator was leaking. This was brought to the attention of James my Service Advisor and to say he was very accommodating is an understatement. He was great, he walked me thru the process and kept me updated as to the status of the service procedure. The Service Manager Melissa was amazing as the vehicle was returned to me in the time promised and its running perfectly. I would like to say thank you to the service department for keeping me on the road.

This place is a joke. Theyve tricked me so many times over the years. Promised me they can get me financed and even though my credit isnt that bad and I make $20 per hour, they always say I need a cosigner. Every time they tell me that, Im able to buy a car at another dealership without one. Go figure but dont waste your time here. Just dont!!

I went in to get some extended warranty that I purchased through them done! My vehicle was the 2015 Jeep Trail Hawk that has the bad Transmission in it. Also there was a problem with my front end and asked for an oil change. Well low book sales said as far as the transmission it hasnt completely failed yet so they dont have a code to read to fix it! Even though the Gears are slamming! They took it for only 4 miles test run! With the front end problem they said oh we can hear it and felt it but we cant find anything wrong with it lol. So that didnt get fixed the only thing they did was change my oil. Then they said my oil hadnt been changed for 25.000 miles! I have proof and records from Ken Garff that it was changed regularly. So anyways low book look at my new vehicle from Ken Garff! Jeep gone! I told you I didnt trust it now! Oh and I forgot to mention on there 4 mile test drive they managed to get a huge screw in my drivers side sidewall tire.
