We really like MMM Subaru but todays experience was just Meh. Brought our 2018 Outback in for an oil change. Made an appt and it still took over 2.5 hours. They tried to upswell a 30k service with full diff oil change, etc, charged over $80 for the oil change ($37 for oil and close to $40 for an oil change kit???), chose not to rotate the tires as requested saying we need to think about tires before winter so they chose not to do the work. We bought our car there and appreciate MM but the latest service was so middling that we will get service elsewhere.
If you want your car to be ruined take it here. I took my car in for an oil change and they forgot to add oil back into my car. It had a perfectly clean title and never any issues until I took it to Mark Miller Midtown. Now I’m out of a car for the foreseeable future. Save yourself the inconvenience and go somewhere else.
Got in and got out with no surprises. I imagine a 3.5 hour visit is typical for this kind of purchase, but we were kept comfortable. Max was great and even paid for our lunch while all the paperwork got completed. Thanks, guys~
I had to pick up my car before leaving town the next morning, and I came in just after they were closing, fortunately, Damien was an absolute bro and still got me checked out and back on the road regardless. Major props to him as well as the rest of the Mark Miller team. Thanks a million!
Quick express service without an appointment even though they service department looked very busy. Waiting area was full of people. Reasonable pricing consistent with my local shop in Washington state.
Im about 5 months late posting, but credit should go where it is due. I was very impressed with my experience buying a car at Mark Miller Subaru Midtown. I contacted many dealerships last year and many options but this one, by far, gave me the best deal. No one else was competitive.I got a nicer vehicle than I had planned. I tried a 2017 Forester at a local Mazda dealer, it was nice, but then I asked Mark Miller what they could find me.They found me a 2019 Forester, low miles, for a lower total than the other option. It was even a nicer trim: leather interior, moonroof, etc, and the financing was 7% better than the other dealership offered. If all that isnt enough, I appreciate the way they handled the issue with the plates. They had trouble getting plates from some bank in Arizona bc of the pandemic, but they overnighted me an extra temporary registration just to ensure that I never had to drive with expired registration. It gave me peace of mind to work with an honest, responsible dealership, especially because I have had bad experiences in the past with other places. Its the best customer experience Ive had in recent memory. I recommend working with Cassidy. She worked hard to find me what I wanted, and shes honest and decent. I got none of the sneaky, pushy BS that turned me off from working with so many other places.
I was given the run-around when I showed up for my appointment and ended up waiting 13 minutes just to get checked in. During the13 minutes, 2 people acknowledged me, even though the place was swarming with your employees. Once they checked me in I was told it was going to be a 40 minute wait. I waited for 90 minutes, watching others come and go in the meantime. I was furious. When I asked the kid who went over the paperwork with me why I had to wait so long, he just said, I dont know. I just work on the cars they give me. No effort to apologize or get a supervisor. Whats the point of making an appointment when I still have to wait? Terrible. I used to love this dealership. Now I refuse to go back.
Ive owned four Subarus over the years and Mark Miller Subaru Midtown has been my goto service center for them.On my last visit they missed one of the items I had made an appointment for. It was a little annoying so I responded to the survey they send out after youve brought your car in. I was contacted shortly afterwards by one of the service managers, Tony. He got me set up to get that forgotten item taken care of and gave me a credit for the trouble. I really appreciate that. That was only one small issue after years of excellent professional service from them and they more than made up for it immediately.
They were amazing and was able to get the work done sooner than expected. When Im in the market for new vehicle I will definitely come in to this dealership.
Took my Forester in for its one year service. I had a great experience. The staff were super nice and answered all of my questions!
Great crew and prompt attention to our inquiry and subsequent purchase! We also appreciate the fact that Mark Miller Subaru demonstrates a commitment to universal human rights and community engagement.
I tried thrice now to get in contact with this branch to file a complaint. I already find dealerships to be a capitalist agenda and signing a contract for a car can feel like Im signing up to be stolen from. This is the socio-economic climate we live in though. I am forced to take my car here due to its contract and I wish I could give my money to people that actually work hard and do professional work. I got my car back from a routine service totally trashed and gone through. All of the contents from my glove department and middle console were on the floor and passengers seat of my car. The ground was covered in muddy workman boot prints. I dont feel safe bringing my car here and leaving it anymore because I cant leave anything in the car if I dont want it gone through. I wish I didnt have time left on my contract so that I could actually go to a reputable private owned garage that actually knows how to conduct a local business. Aside from this I was never called when my car service was done, I had to call multiple times to get in contact with someone that knew anything about my car, and there is seldom someone behind the desk to help.
Carlos Rios is always informative and a joy to visit with and be around. The service done on the used car we bought was great and it came to us super clean. Doug was great in the finance chair.
Zach was extremely knowledgable, friendly and polite. He helped track down the exact vehicle I wanted really fast. It was a great experience
I was extremely impressed with staff and communication and that concerns about my vehicle were addressed, not only the recall but other needs to ensure my vehicles safety. Everyone was courteous, quick to respond, and took good care of my vehicle.
False advertising!!!!!! Went in to look at a vehicle they had listed online. When I got there they told me that an employee of the dealer was buying it.
Having used the services of the Mark Miller Service Department and the Mark Miller Collision Repair, and the Concierge in the past few weeks, I just want to say that I have found every single thing about Mark Miller Subaru Service to be extraordinary! Every person - from the service reps who answer the phone and book appointments to the updates on the work being done to the folks who have picked up and returned my car - everyone was been terrific! Friendly, professional, caring and Covid-19 safety-compliant.Ive owned Subarus for a few decades and have been doing business at other dealerships within the area. That all changed this summer when I went to get service at my previous location. It was in the height of the first big wave of covid infections. They would not come to my house to get my car (I am older and am immuno-compromised) and at the service center, they were not wearing masks or other respectful protection. That was the day I changed my mind about where to take my car! Not willing to put my life on the line to get oil changed and tires rotated, I called Mark Miller Service. Marty, in service, walked me through all that MM Service was/is doing to take care of cars and respect human lives. Never plan to go anywhere else now. Hoping the CrossTrek I own now will be my last one, however if its not, I know where Ill be getting a new car!The fact that MMS has a concierge service (that comes up Big Cottonwood Canyon) with such amazing folx (especially Adrian and Ryan and one more, whose name I cant recall) has really been a gift and a blessing in my life! They are beyond amazing! And, the fact that they wash & vacuum the car before they return it is a big plus! And, right now during Covid, the fact that the Mark Miller Service team shows respect for human lives by wearing masks and sanitizing everything means the world to me.appreciated and valuedThank you thank you thank you!!
Ridiculously poor service, even after spending $1500 on a variety of upkeep. Still had to bring my vehicle back in to address a low pressure light in the tires, which were just replaced at Mark Miller. Mark miller had my car for 5 days, but I still needed to return. Upon which a supposed 15 minute appt turned into 1.5 hours with contradictory information given. Btw, my car was not even taken in h til 1 hr post my appt time. The fix they emphasized was a $200 fix.Additionally, I was never given the tire rebate information, and the service technician did not call back after 4 separate messages.Mark Miller did however use my email to send me new auto deals and trade information. Seems that’s their focus, not service.Super disappointed at the lack of customer service from Mark Miller. It’s time for a new dealer and Subaru service in salt lake.
Wow they removed my unpleasant experience w
Nice service
Easy and organized. Everyone was helpful.
They took care of me quickly and efficiently and allowed me to change my appointment at the last minute due to a work conflict of mine that arose.
