A-1 rocks! We took our motorhome in for some repair/upgrade work. They were very pleasant to work with, as we called in a couple times to add upgrades. They lubed and adjusted our slides as well, and I’m amazed at the difference. Al was super to work with, and he brought Kenny out to talk to us about specifically what we wanted. Kenny did a great job. They are on the high $ide, but we’ve been victims of lower-priced repairs on our motorhome enough to say A-1 is well-worth the cost.Having said that, I do wish they would have put down some floor protection, and I also wish I hadn’t paid $350 for Stanley Steamer for a thorough carpet clean BEFORE I had A-1 do work inside. 🥴 My bad.

Ask for Cam. Cam will not disappoint you. As for service and the people. From the front desk the lovely Ms.Sam to the back in the shop. I have no complaints. A great team of people with a can do personality. 5🌟s for sure.Dont forget ask for Cam he is the man!!!!

I was involved in a major accident with my RV and truck in may of 2020 in Texas. A close friend of mine who works in the auto body industry in Reno committed to fixing my truck and recommended A1body shop to fix the RV.I called A1 and spoke to Al. I thoroughly explained our situation and location. Al took down all of my information and said they could definitely fix me up so he made an appointment for me to bring the RV in to start the process. I brought my RV in on 6/22 at 10am and Al held it until 5pm that afternoon to inspect, take notes and pictures. When I picked the RV up Al told me that he would call in a couple days once he finished the estimate. 5 days later and no word I called Al and left a message. 4 days after my message and still no word I called again and spoke to Al. Al rushed me off the phone and told me he would call me back when the estimate was done. 2 weeks after my RV was inspected by the shop my insurance company started to call Al - they left 3 messages and never received one call back. 3 weeks after my initial appointment and no phone call from Al I decided I would be taking my RV somewhere else. I never once received a phone call from this body shop after driving half way across the country to this specific shop. 5 weeks later I spoke to a manager and he apologized and said Al just got overwhelmed with the amount of work he had - this does not excuse the lack of a phone call and explanation to me over the prior 5 weeks.I would highly recommend anyone stay away from this shop or at the least from the disrespectful Al.

RV WHEEL BEARINGS. On the final leg of our 6000 mile journey across the country, we found ourselves at an RV Park in Sparks, NV. Preparing to depart on a Sunday morning for home, my wife pointed to the right front wheel of our 5th wheel trailer and said whats that. There was a hole in the dust cap. I jacked up the axle, pulled the dust cap and wiggled the wheel. Not good! 1/2 of in/out play on the axle. Serious wheel bearing problem. I looked for a couple of places to have the trailer at their shop at 8:00 Monday morning. The first place said they could look at it maybe Wednesday but more likely Friday. OMG!! I called A1 Body Shop & RV Repair and spoke to Lonny. I explained our predicament and he stated he understood how RV breakdowns are just horrible. He said to bring it over and they would check it out. Within a few hours, Lonny called and yes, the wheel bearing was shot but they couldnt the parts until the next day. We got a hotel room for the night with a late check out time and waited for the phone call saying parts were in and wed be out the door that day. While it was a slight inconvenience to have to wait for parts, Lonny and A1 Body Shop & RV Repair went above and beyond to get the right parts and get us back on the road as quickly as they could. They were professional and committed to their customers. Great Service!

Did a great job on my trailer 3 years ago.

This place is the best RV repair shop in the area. Had to bring in mine twice for repairs. One was major damage the second with minor damage. Not only did they do a great job but brought it in under budget as well as had it done when they promised. I hate to say that I dont want to use them again because usually that means youve been in an accident but if I have to, this is the only place I will go

My son’s 3 day old car was close to totaled by someone running a red light back in November, over 10k in damage on a Honda Civic. Our insurance was going to tow the car to a different body shop, but we asked around and got a referral to A1, so we changed the destination of the car and took it to A1. Van did a fantastic job of keeping us informed of what was going on and fighting the Insurance company for all OEM parts since the car was only 3 days old. When my son got the car back it looked perfect, there was one issue with the side cameras not being calibrated and he called Van and Van made an appointment at the dealership to get that Calibrated and took care of the payment and billing to our insurance. The car is perfect and we are so pleased that we went to A1 and got great service and quality work!

A1 did a great job with the warranty work we needed done on our trailer! They were courteous upfront with potential issues and costs AND fast! I dropped it off Tuesday and they had both our issues approved by the warranty company, all fixed and ready for us to pick up that Friday. Great job!

I want to thank Al and the team at A1 body shop. I had front fender damage. They had my 2017 Jeep for 10 days. In that time, they did the estimate, filed a suplimate to my claim and did the repairs. They did a great job using official jeep parts. My Jeep looks perfect again. Thanks again Al for all of your work. I highly recommend this shop for body work.

A1 specializes in RV bodywork as well as cars. We dropped in with no notice on the way to Burning Man because part of our dump valve plumbing had been knocked off. They improvised a fix in two hours and couldnt have been more helpful. Its a clean, well organized shop with a very comfortable waiting room and a good selection of parts and supplies. A1 lives up to its name—excellent.

Ive regrettably been rear-ended a few times, and each time, A1 did incredible work making the vehicle look as good as new and, more importantly, working seamlessly with the insurance company to make the process as hassle-free as possible. Top notch professionals. I highly recommend them.

Simply lazy. I had work done there in the past and use there Rv store on a regular basis and they would not give me an estimate. Do yourself a favor and go to Paramount

I brought my 2011 Mustang to be detailed by them . They did a horribly bad job I asked if it was going to be polished by hand and waxed . The sales person lied to me and said yes when I dropped off my car .When I picked up my car it looked the same as when I dropped it off no polishing took place a very bad wax job is all I got . They blamed it on a miss understanding on my part . If there willing to lie to me about a detail job and take my money and time god only knows what they can do if you need real repair work done .

I was rear end and had my car towed to A1 they kept in contact with me the whole time and although the insurance company totaled my car. They helped me communicate with my insurance company so I would know what steps to expect next. Hopefully I will not need them but it’s great to know they are there if I do.

After our accidents we took our vehicles toA-1 Body Shop. They did the job right the first time. They restored our vehicles to original brand new condition! ...And they detailed it-bonus! Totally unexpected.

Good bunch of guys at this store worked on my RV little high price but got everything done will go again if I ever get back to Reno.

Very unprofessional. Pushed back the pick up date of my car various times, made excuses for why the work “wasn’t done yet” each time. Untrustworthy, unprofessional. Only take your car here if you plan on leaving it there for more than a month.

My first impression is the Left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. I was told I needed a pre-inspection for my RV damage, waited over an hour to find out that isnt the process and had to leave with nothing to be done for over a week. Bill is awesome and I highly recommend him and his customer service has been amazing! Im disappointed that no one informed me they wont be able to begin working on it until sometime in August; however, I can only assume its because they are in such high demand. Ill report again after the work is done. We have a pre-paid RV trip planned mid August so we are hopeful they can get it done before then.

This place is awful. Customer service is non existent. They had my motorhome for almost three months. Most of this time they werent even working on it. Got my motorhome back filthy with grease streaked down the side. The only redeeming value of the place was Too the mechanic. He at least apologized for the extensive length of time it took. No one else including the front office staff swelled too care about the inconvenience and l loss of time camping. Dont take your vehicles there.

Went in to get a quote for some bodywork so they took down my info and never called me back. I went in acouple days later to ask about my quote and the guy that was doing my quote was on lunch so i ask them to have him call me. Three days later im stoll waiting. Very crappy customer service!

Tiffin maintenance managers (you know who you are), if you need help in the Reno area, dont be fooled by the fancy names. I recently had a slide-out issue, called Tiffin, refered us to Sierra RV. Called them and they said they were too busy to help. Then asked if we bought the rig there. I said no; but, they referred me to A-1 Body and Paint. What? Called them anyway, got me in right away (on a Friday), fixed me and the problem, and sent me off to Sacramento. They were all fantastic, especially Joel Weiss.

Terrible experience. Gave us the run around, we wasted a whole day trying to get a repair done. Looks like recent reviews are mostly bad. Save your money and time and go else where.

It took them 8 weeks to get an estimate written on my truck.Van promised me after 2. Weeks he would get a copy to my lawyer, he didnt. I lost the chance for a lawsuit to fix my truck. It did not seem to matter to him. I am still driving a broken messed up truck

We took our camper here they overpriced us then took longer than scheduled. They did a horrible job on the new rubber seals and even worse on the caulking. We had to take it back to get it recaulked and then we put it away for the winter. We take it out all looks good start driving and I noticed the same spot they recaulked was being purged open by the wind...which immediatly now started the delamination process on the front if our camper and they wont take any responsibility for it.

Very disappointed with the customer service. We needed to get an estimate and waited at the front desk for over 10 minutes and nobody even asked if they could help us. At least 4 employees looked at us and totally ignored us. We are never coming back.

I walked in to purchase a part for my 5th wheel and I couldnt get one person in this shop to look up from their desk to assist me. So I went over to see if I could find what I needed and took my selection up to the counter.....had a few questions and the gentleman behind that counter could care less if I got the information I needed. I will not bother these folks with my business in the future.

I had a terrible experience here, took me over a month to even get my car appraised then I never received a call back after being told it would take 3-4 weeks to get my car in. Would not recommend
