Good product fair price fast ship couldnt be better
I got a good price on a Dunlop tire. But it took 30 days to ship. Just glad I was home and not on a trip waiting in a hotel for a new tire.
Placed an order for a photochromatic face shield. Site said in stock, so I paid for expedited 2-day shipping. Called in on day 3, as the item hasnt been shipped. Found out it is backordered despite being listed as in-stock on site... and the parts guy I spoke to got a bit of an attitude with me about refunding the expedited shipping charge. Ended up not refunding shipping. Not a huge deal, but a bit frustrating that I paid for expedited shipping for a supposedly in-stock item, just to find out Im 13th on the list to get the shield.UPDATE: Still do not have my $200 face shield and no real update on when it will arrive. I was originally told end of August. Then September. Now we are nearing October and they have my money but I have no product or timeframe for arrival.
We are a couple from Germany and we travelled the US on our BMW motorcycles. The day we rode from SF to Reno the rear wheel bearing broke on our F800GS while we where riding down from Lake Tahoe to Carson City. We where lucky that we where close to Reno and to find Sierra BMW to help us out. These guys are top notch! Scott took care of us and managed the whole thing in time. When we asked to also change the front wheel bearings they managed to dismount them carefully and without damaging them. So we took them with us and we where able to reuse them later on my R1200GS. Great job! You guys really kept us going! We made it back to Germany but we miss you guys. We made many friends in the Us and it was a blast! We hope to come back soon. Very impressed with the customer service (again.) I could have bought these parts from my local BMW Motorrad dealer but the service is below my expectations. So, I am willing to pay a bit extra for shipping to the East Coast. Each part I received was in its own bag with the product code - seems like this should always be the case but often when I shop locally, everything was thrown into a generic or the same bag.
I have ordered several parts from Sierra BMW and always had a great experience. I recently had to return an order (due to my mistake of ordering the wrong part) and their staff helped me find the correct item and sent it out quickly. The return was seamless, too. Great service.
