These folks are knowledgable, kind, professional, service-oriented, and their products are top notch. Their prices are very good. They made a customer out of me the morning I brought in a mandolin missing a string, and instead of making me buy a whole set of strings, she put one string on and charged me a dollar, and did it immediately! Great place.

Took a G&L s-500 in that had been less than loved by a previous owner for a setup. Very affordable and plays amazing. Saved this guitar totally. Glad to have this place in Spartanburg. Will be using them for future repairs.

I love having such a well-stocked, locally owned music store nearby. Ropers knowledge helped me make an informed choice, and my daughter is very pleased with her clarinet. They paired me with an excellent teacher for guitar. I was playing short rifts at the second lesson.

The sales associate Brett Lawson has No idea what hes doing. The other associate, Michael isnt far behind. I took my 10 yr old daughter with the list of supplies she needed. We did get the right instrument, however we left with the wrong reeds and book .One book was out of stock, Brett said hed call when it came in .I had to go back a month later because they forgotto call. They refused to honor my coupon from the Attractions book and wouldnt get a supervisor .What a terrible experience. I will be going to Music and Arts from now on and will encourage other parents in District 7 to do the same to avoid the hassle.

Overall a good music store in the area. The only thing I am not happy with is the repair service for instruments. No overly expensive but sloppy work. I rather pay a few dollars more and have it done properly.

Great service, awesome staff

Had some communication problem and delays when trying to check on my guitar repair status, however, in the end the owner called me, apologized, and made the situation right. No complaints.

Ive bought a Taylor, a consignment Martin, tons of strings, and accessories .Ive sold on consignment there,you name it.The only thing I hate about Roper Music is Im leaving the area in a few months and they wont come with me.I love that store and all the folks that work there !Richard Campbell
