What can I say, never met a harder working bunch of girls. They are so sweet and always friendly. Its genuine and not the fake friendly you get at most stands. Always a pleasure

So I had a bad experience about a month or so ago that the last time I visited since Im an out of towner we skipped this stand & tried a different one... I went there today since I really do love this stand & the girls there & was like lets give them another try... I dont know the two girls who were there this morning (sun 10/17) names but theyre the ones who are there usually every time I go & know me & my drink which makes it more special to go there since Im from walla walla & only come to town every so often& to know both is really awesome & they really went above & beyond to make sure my drink was made right & double checked before I left & made sure my bfs drink was good also! Im really hoping the other girl who I had the bad experience with was possibly new or just having an off day because theyve definitely redeemed themselves, so once again Ill be back the next time I come to town ^_^

We went to Hold Your Grounds Espresso and they make amazing coffee drinks here! The staff was friendly and helpful as we are not from Spokane. I would highly recommend them for coffee and treats!

This place used to be my favorite. They always got our drinks spot on. But in the last six months every time I come here they get my drink wrong and the girls don’t want to remake it and find away to blame it on us. Our drinks are pretty simple mochas usually to. I really wish they would focus on accuracy this at shop. We used to come here everyday some time twice a day now instead we go to another shop instead that is more expensive and further away but they get our drinks right every single time.

Just left the stand, and were extremely pleased with customer service and comfortability of conversation with the barista. We are from out of state, visiting often, and we are more than willing to visit this stand again when we come back. We ordered the white chocolate mocha, with a little extra flavor, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I like their coffee and prices, but they arent friendly to LGBT couples. We always feel like we are interrupting their conversations when we pull up, and they make no effort to interact with us or make small talk like they do with other customers, etc. Very cold and uninviting for us personally.We just moved here, trying to find a coffee stand to frequent on the regular, and I didnt think much of it the first 10+ times, but its obviously a pattern, and it just sucks.We will go somewhere else where we feel more welcome. 😥

I have been coming here since 2013 and lately on the weekends mostly Sundays I order a mocha iced breve with flavor and it is not breve and very bad tasting like coffee sludge I couldnt ask to have it remade since my husband went and got it for me and usually enjoy coming for coffee but its getting old getting my drink messed up

I went here 2 times and loved both of them. The first time I asked for an blue raspberry Italian soda it was the BEST so I went back 2 days later and asked for a strawberry cream Italian soda it wasnt as good but I still liked it. I also asked for a hot strong coffee of her choice for my mother, she gave me a salted caramel marble, my mom LOVED it and finished it in 5 mins. We both definitely will be coming back more often.

Weve been customers for 5 years now and usually its a great experience. Prices are good, customer service is good and the product is really good.Every ten drinks you earn a free one if you have an account.This morning we went to redeem our free drink along side buying another with it and the lady who was serving us went to the computer and looked up our purchase history. She came back and told us that we cant use the free drink on a 32 oz frappe because we typically dont buy large enough drinks..... Sometimes we buy 24 oz hot chocolates, sometimes we buy 32 oz frappes and she actually denied us because in her view, we didnt spend enough money even though its their rules. You buy 10 drinks, you get one free. Theres no mention of sizes or rules or anything. She made this rule up on the spot for us only.I find that extremely insulting as a loyal and long time customer. I have recommended this place to many of my friends throughout the years and this feels like a slap in the face. To me, this isnt about the actual drink. Its about no appreciation for my business. Either that or this lady had something against us for whatever reason. Needless to say I wont be recommending Hold Your Grounds to anyone ever again.

This is my favorite coffee stand in West Central. Besides great friendly services there specials are more than just mocha. There coffee is amazing and there lavender lemonade is a delicious summertime favorite of mine.

Over the past few months I have become very disappointed in their coffee drinks. They get mine wrong all the time. And if I order a drink that should come with chocolate like a snickers I should be argued with by the barista about having them put it in my drink its a candy bar flavor of course it should have chocolate sauce in it. I use to love this place..

My everyday coffee shop. They have fair specials, excellent coffee and lotus energy drinks. Recently they seem to have switched muffin suppliers as the new muffins are way better! The baristas are always friendly and someone remember everyone’s names. It’s like their super power.

A friend recommended this place, and I think its a pretty good stand. The employees are all really friendly. I went in and asked for something with white coffee that didnt taste too much like coffee and the gal made me something delicious. Two days later I went back and ordered the same thing, this time I had to give the drink to a coworker because the coffee taste was too strong. So the consistency is lacking a little from employee to employee, but Ill still go once in a while

Great Customer Service and coffee is wonderful!

I tried an iced double shot white chocolate mocha and it was amazing!! This is my usual drink that I order at coffee places and I think that Hold Your Grounds made it the best. The flavor was great and concentrated, not watered down at all. Employees were friendly and the parking lot is pretty easy to get out of. Will be returning next time Im in Spokane.

Close to work makes it convenient, prices seem to vary from dad to day which I found odd. All in all a good place to get coffee

I have been a customer of Hold Your Grounds Espresso bar for 6 years and I have never been disappointed with there product or their super friendly service. I even watched them open the place.In my opinion they are the BEST in Spokane! And for those who enjoy fruit smoothies they have em.

Best coffee stand on the West side.

The best part about this stand is the employees,the ladies are all nice and friendly. You can order the same drink from various people and it may taste different each time, although not necessarily in a bad way... Prices are average, maybe slightly above-average. A 20 ounce iced white chocolate mocha costs $4.25, for example. they got rid of all paper Punch cards and now use an electronic system based on your phone number, it is pretty annoying and theres no way to know how close you are to a free drink unless you keep track of it on your own-- for every 11 drink purchases, you are given one free. Overall, would recommend.

They have a great selection of drinks my personal favorite is the sun rise tea. Average prices for drinks cheap filled bagels that are delicious. Only reason for the four is they can be inconsistent in drink taste depending on whose making it.

Trying to give them a chance because they are on my way to the work life. But every time they get my order wrong. I ask for my coffee iced and I get it hot. I love that they have daily specials. But when I tried it, it didnt even taste like it had coffee in it. It was already too late to turn around. So Id suggest trying your coffee before you leave their window.The outside looks clean. Its organized, I love it. They have daily specials. Awesome. But they dont have punch cards. boo.

One of the best stop and go coffee places around. My only complaint is that their are no small windows for people who are simply walking to the stop. Having to wait by a line of cars can be a tad nerve-racking, pretty much my only reason for dropping a star since most other stop and go places have them as well.

Love these girls! Me and my roommate go through in the morning on our way to school. They know our drinks and are always cheerful and caring. We order our peppermint mochas (which are better than Starbucks) being coffee addicts, this place is the only one we will go too! The prices are great and so is the timing. The only thing is its getting popular, so lines can form in the morning like Dutch bros sometimes. Other than that perfect! Thanks for being consistent girls! With you all, I dont think Id make it through some mornings.

When I need coffee on the go, I go here. Over the last 6 years their staff has become like family. They always greet you with a smile, and the coffee is fantastic. I can load money on my account with them and use it when my wife makes off with my credit card. Its so convenient. Swing on in and tell them Houdini sent you.

Two baristas there ( Hannah and an afternoon gal) make the BEST coffee, the rest of them (there are quite a few) make burnt / super acidic tasting coffee. I finally had to quit going there because I was getting 1 good coffee maybe every 6 times I would go and I would end up dumping it out or trying to doctor it up myself at work or home. Espresso is expensive and consistency is important to me in order to justify spending the money.

Very good customer service. They have a punch card in their computer so I dont have to keep track of it. All are very friendly but it is a hard place to get into due to traffic but most times Im able to get in. Love the banana bread

Best best coffee place ever!

Was having a rough day. Went there to get a pick me up. Asked how many shots was in a 24 oz americano... the answer 2... so you are paying for water!!! So i ask the barista so im paying for water?? And she answers well thats what youre paying for... um actually no im paying for coffee thanks... she was rude and tell me with an attitudewell thats how we do it here. The good coffee stands put 4 shots of coffee in a 24 oz americano because it is just coffee and hot water by the way... i will never be back. I would have considered getting a mocha if i hadnt have been talked to like that

Fast service & good coffee...while I listened to the employees inside complain about how their customers are just not smart enough. They continued to discuss how none of the people they serve understand things as they ran my card. Needless to say, I will be driving right past this place from now on. Only went there because Dutch Bros had a line. My mistake. Next time I will be more than happy to wait in line for a business who appreciates their customers!

I come here frequently and usually love the coffee and the friendly faces, but this morning I had the blonde girl and she wasn’t friendly whatsoever and made me feel like I was bothering them getting a coffee, don’t want to come back just in case I have to be served by her again, left a bad taste in my mouth.

Thier beverages r good. But I have had issues with them properly counting the punch card system thing. It rly would be 6000000000x easier to just do the regular punch cards like all the others.

Sexy staff

Wife asked to pay with cash and card. Manager just ran the card for full amount and kept the cash as a tip. Wont reverse the charge on the card and we dont live out that way. Keep the $2 dollars, we will take our business elsewhere.
