Great selection but,like with a lot of people it seems, they followed us around the store the ENTIRE time like we were there to steal ... Not sure why, we had nothing to even hide stuff in....we stopped because it said local owned but it felt really uncomfortable being followed and whenever we made eye contact they asked if we needed help. Ten times In a visit is excessive and obvious. We needed up just purchasing what we had and leaving because they wouldnt stop. Coulda got more but they wouldnt allow us to look.....

Very rude employees I’ll never take my children there again. One of them smelt really bad so I guess personnel hygiene is not a requirement there.

My girlfriend and I went here to check out the store. It was pretty decent and the lady at the register was helpful.

Only place in town that had what I needed

We went in for a quick pick something up. BUT once we got inside, we couldnt rush right on through. There was so much to see. And the staff was very very friendly and helpful. I have a service dog, and the one employee I spoke with the most struck up a conversation by asking if I had seen the pets costume section. TOO FREAKING CUTE! Anyway, i will be going back every year. Great people, large selection, fun props, and fair prices.

The owner is very friendly and willing to track down a costume if he doesnt carry it in the store. I gave it a 3 star rating because we brought our 2 year old daughter here and theres some pretty creepy decorations not too far from the entrance and almost everywhere you turn was something scary looking. Maybe its my fault for not anticipating this but it wouldve been nice to bring our daughter in to look for her own costume without her being scared the whole time.

Halloween, whats not to love?;

We really liked that the employees are willing to help you around and give you ideas, also help you find the best deal. Seems like they follow you around but it really was very helpful. Went to 2 other stores before we got here and for a 6 year old and 9 year old Halloween Express had the most options, and had what we were looking for.I really liked organization of the store more than others and the prices are comparable. Green dot tag means half off!Im glad to find out it is locally owned and we will be coming back. I wish I could buy all the creepy decorations, I enjoy it all! Go here first.

Everyone was super friendly as usual, we went in and was helped right away easily found costumes for myself, my boyfriend, and my toddler. Each section was very clear which section it was and everything was super easy. 3 costumes, $60!! Look for the green tags. Just saying.

I actually jumped along with others when a prop jumped at us.We all thought it was off till i triggered it.My daughter and i had fun shopping.

Lots of stuff just found only one spiderman costume an it wasnt big enough no venom either

Fantastic selection of all kinds of decorations, costumes and animatronics. I like this establishment more than the Spirit store on Division as it has a more robust selection of Halloween related items. Its also locally owned and operated which I always enjoy supporting. They even have vintage Halloween cutouts from back in the day!

Lots of great Halloween goods. Really friendly staff. Not as big as some other Halloween stores, but I would definitely start here again next year.

Lots of costumes to choose from.

They have lots of fun looking decorations and the displays are fantastic. Otherwise this is a waste of time. I cant see spending 40 to 80 bucks for costumes that arent that much better quality than the 20 dollar walmart ones. Still we stop here every year to look at the decor

Today was our first time in your store, what a wonderful experience! Every sales person was extremely helpful with out being pushy. Got a great new addition to our carnival display, towering sweet dreams clown. We will definitely be back for more!

I took my 6 and 4 year old grandchildren to this Halloween Express and kids both got cool costumes they loved from the big selection. They were also fascinated and stood watching the floor crawling zombies for 10 minutes. Would definitely shop here again!

This store is the only place you need to go for anything Halloween. Whether you need to find the perfect costume or add to your scary decor collection you can get it all at this Halloween Express location. I love the fact that the owners are local (right here from Spokane.) and some of the nicest people you could ever meet. There staff is friendly from the moment you walk in the door until the very end of your experience. Their prices are better than all the other stores Ive shopped at. I visited Spokane from Montana, and stopped in to look around. The staff were very nice, and friendly. We met the owner, and found out it is a family owned business. The owner and staff are very honest, and kind people. I have to give a special THANK YOU to them all! I had accidentally left my wallet in the bathroom that had everything in it to get back home. We were staying in Coeur d Alene, and had got all the way back to our hotel when I realized it was gone. The owner Craig drove out to the valley to meet me, so thoughtful! He tried everything he could to track me down, and message me on Facebook to try to get my wallet back to me. The best part is that EVERYTHING WAS STILL IN IT ! Overpriced cheaply made halloween costumes. Hardly any decent clwtumes in plus sizes

I went to another Halloween store out North that has many different locations. Very poor service no one came and asked if I want to help. When I went to a clerk and asked a question I told to go talk to s clerk at the front.Totally different when I went to Halloween Express. Greater with candy as I walked in, two different people tried to find just what I wanted. They then go the store owner and he found just what I wanted.I checked price and it was no match. About 20% cheaper!!! I will search this store out again next year!!

Great selection of Costumes & Halloween decorations!Although the gentleman (i believe he is the owner or at least manager) made me (a PAYING CUSTOMER) feel so uncomfortable & very angry!By following me around like i was going to steal something. When he got busy he then told a female employee to follow me. She was behind my shoulder the whole time until I decided to take my money elsewhere.

This is a great Halloween Store. The staff is friendly, they have fitting rooms, and a lot of different stock. If you cant find it in the store they are more than happy to order it.

I was pretty excited to check out what was done with old Hastings building! But barley made it through the door when we got approached by an employee asking my wife to leave her tiny hand bag up front. I dont like anyone other then us being in possession of a bag that holds a lot of her and my life and personal info inside. I wasnt about to leave credit and debit cards, drivers licenses and cash in the hands of a person thats not part of my direct family and to ask someone you leave a tiny hand bag up front because of the possibility of theft? Sorry are you implying that were going to to steal? That is what is implied when that is the reason given to want to take a purse that could barley fit what was already in it. I have worked in retail for a very long time and telling people that have come to shop at your store that we want to take your tiny bag because weve had a lot of theft well thanks for making me feel really comfortable with my car parked outside, and wanting us to leave a purse with you or store it in my car? I would rather leave and go to Spirit where i have never been assumed to be a threat of being a thief. All Im saying and from the other reviews that Ive seen is if you want to make people feel better about your bag policy dont say its because of theft all youre doing is letting people who were wanting to come in and spend money on products from your store that you assume were all thieves. Thanks for nothing

Huge selections great prices

I didnt get to see much as within seconds of walking in I was asked to pass my small purse to an employee to keep behind the counter. I clarified my purse? and she said yes, theyve had issues with theft and was apologetic regarding the policy. I said no, but I would lock it in my car instead. However, once outside, I was rather irritated and my husband and I just decided to leave. So one star because of the policy and didnt stay to see the selection and pricing. I work retail so I absolutely understand prohibiting large bags/backpacks from your store. But a smaller sized, standard womens purse is ridiculous. Also, the place is huge and only saw the one employee, perhaps if theft is an issue, hire more staff to work the sales floor?

This was literally the worst Halloween store Ive ever encountered. The changing rooms are sketchy as ALL HELL. Its basically made of sheets. First of all. Second. Some of the sheets are spaced out. Meaning that people in the back of the shop can see IN. There was also no top on the room. My husband asked if I was in view of security cameras and the staff literally only said its a security precaution. They didnt deny that I was in view of a camera at all. Not to say they are illegally peeping. But it FELT shady as hell. Im never going back. Odds are none of the employees are peeping at all... but its disturbing theyre more concerned with shoplifters than the fact someone could easily have watched me getting changed.. seems like they only care about illegal activities going on that lose them money? Not the fact they actually put people at risk of being spied on while naked. Smh. So uncomfortable.
