By far the nicest grocery store I have ever been to. I could not believe the large selection of deli items I could choose from. The second floor seating area was a great place to relax and enjoy my lunch. Definitely will shop here a lot more often!

A great small market with plenty to offer. The store is clean and well organized. The Deli/Antipasti area has sandwiches, salads and entrees for purchase.I had a build your own sandwich which was really well prepared with fresh ingredients. They have pre made sandwiches too which they can modify based on preference or dietary needs. The three staff members I interacted with were very friendly and professional. The sandwich preparer was very accommodating and made a really good and full sandwich.All staff were compliant with health code and kept the ingredients chilled between preparations.A very good selection of fruits and vegetables. The cheese and antipasti selection were also excellent.A solid small grocery store that provides a better experience than most large ones

It’s a great store with lots of yummy food in their deli and bakery, but it is exceptionally overpriced. More expensive than PCC or Whole Foods for the exact same products.

Great produce. There is a wonderful little bakery as well as a deli that makes prepared foods. They have a great cheese selection. And skyrr! Only place I have found it in Spokane.

My Fresh Basket is our local grocery store and we really like it! Prices are a little high compared to Fred Meyer or Safeway, but we mainly go here for small things like coffee, pastries, pizza dough, etc. Their deli is great, particularly the Monroe Monster chocolate chip cookie (which may be the best cookie in Spokane). Easy to get by bike, car or walking and the employees are mostly friendly. Their wine and beer selection is also top-shelf!

Came in and ordered a #2 juice. I was impressed with the produce selection and pre-made food. If I wasn’t ordering a juice I would have definitely gotten the cinnamon rolls. Also like the information posted about each of the local growers.

Very cool. We wondered around, sampled the cookies, admired the produce and drooled over the meat and cheese. All fresh and wonderfully presented. Clean, open and airy space that welcomes you and says, hey grab some yummy fresh food, sit down and enjoy healthy. This place is awesome for every reason you wish your local grocery store was.

Fun to shop for entrees ready made for quick lunch when travelling.... Also some fresh fruits and vegetables if you have a place to cook when in town... The prices are a bit high but not unreasonable compared to other destination cities...We will look for the trade name in other towns in the future....

Good store overall, but there prices are higher than most places. Like Natural Grocers is cheaper on alot of stuff. It is nice they have places upstairs and outside if you want to eat.

I love this neighborhood grocery store, they have great food and snacks and people are always so nice! Prices are affordable, too. Great for organic, natural products as well as some other favorites.

This place is great and so organized..I only had a few minutes but will be going back. I need more time to check out all the unique items... workers are professional and sweet, at least the 2 gals I talked to.

Nice selection of food way over priced. People like to eat healthful and well but cant afford it at those prices. Reminds me of Heckleberrys on the South hill.

This store is expensive.The store vibe is pretty awesome. Everything is very clean, it has a very inviting atmosphere and modern feel. Staff are helpful and friendly and seeing a store supporting local farmers is awesome to see.Now for the bad. Products in here are overpriced. I understand paying a little more to support local farmers and other local businesses. I have no problem paying a little extra for those products.Its all the other products that are just simply non competitive. To sum it up if you want fruits, veggies and a decent selection of organic food it is an ok store. If you are buying meat, any dairy product, or anything out of a freezer you are far better off shopping elsewhere.

I like this store. My Fresh Basket offers a lot of fresh on the go options. It also offers a nice bakery. The store is clean. My only issue is this last time I was in the store at 7:00 am which is when they open and they were far from busy. I was not greeted by one person. When I choose to spend my time and my money in these neighborhood stores I expect the courtesy of being acknowledged.

Within walking distance of Downtown and Kendall Yards. They always have a good selection of fresh produce. The deli and meat department have great products with locally raised meats. Their bakery is my favorite, everything is delicious. A great little store with friendly employees.

Prices were ok, helpful staff. Too yuppy/hipster for my liking, worth visiting especially for the deli and low priced house plants 😊

The hired help(security guard) ruined my shopping experience. From the moment I walked in the store, the security guard posted himself by me as I was browsing for the perfect card to get a co-worker who was promoted. At first I thought maybe no way because I work in the area and am a frequent shopper. So, I walk more in the store because it has always been past traditions to pick up a dozen donuts, so thats what I did. Then I realized, I wanted a snack that I could actually eat so I proceeded towards the produce area where they also keep the little protein snacks, and guess who strolled past me, the hired help. At this point, Im now irritated. So, I walk around to grab a caffeine drink and low and behold guess who turns the corner? You guessed it, the hired help so Im sure you can imagine my frustration and I threw my hands up and told the guard behind my mask to go mind somebodys business besides mine. It was just a horrible and humiliating experience. Just because I am a minority, my money spends the same like everybody else.I left the store and shortly after decided to call and speak with management which is something I hardly do but this day just really got to me and made me cry. The representative I spoke with over the phone was pleasant, Apologized on the hired helps behalf and offered to purchase me a drink the next time I visit, but I kindly refused and just informed how I wanted them to just listen and be more mindful. If they were aware of my situation, it would have been nice for someone to speak up. Well, there you have it. Fresh Basket was not so fresh that day.

Again I dont shop here often however they have pre-packaged meals that are quite delightful

Wow, such amazing foods. High quality produce, lots of organic and vegan products. Breakfast burritos are on point but they go fast! Coffee Shop and prepared foods available. Large imported cheese section and theres an area upstairs to eat, drink coffee or read/ study.

Political workers, good range ... no one cleans carts at the same time, way to many shoppers in the store, tiny signs promote social distance. Really frustrated that Spokanes most progressive grocery store is not aware of health care during a global pandemic that is roiling in our city

MFB has over time become our favorite grocery store.They have a more upscale modern feel, but are still loaded with your favorite inexpensive choices. Before our first trip we were fully expecting inflated prices and only expensive brands, but honestly it’s a good balance of Safeway and Whole Foods. You can get your high end products off the shelf right next to your cheap options.Inside you’ll find more than your standard grocery store, a local coffee stand, a deli/bakery with more choices than any other grocery store in town, a bulk wall, a butcher corner with fresh meats, common and uncommon seafood, and even live lobster, and multiple seating areas should you want your deli item heated up for immediate enjoyment.Our personal favorite part is in-fact the butcher section. The quality and choices of the meat and seafood is simply unmatched. The sushi grade Atlantic Salmon is competitive in pricing and absolutely the best in town without going to a specialty shop. The Maui Chicken is incredible to boot.They also have a large array of Gluten Free, Vegan, and Vegetarian options if that’s your fancy.All of this on top of friendly and helpful staff.10/10 highly recommend a visit.

Very cool market! Close to my office and they have the best hot bar for lunch. The prime rib sandwich is amazing and so are the pretzels and cheese dip.

I really liked this place, they have by far the best deli/food court in Spokane hands down. I would, however prefer and expect with these type of varieties that they would offer more vegan options. They have an excellent wine selection, bakery and natural grocery. For those of you who like sushi, they have a awesome sushi bar as well. I would also say, they should offer more seating as during peak times theres not a large area and it fills up fast.

Beautiful top notch gourmet food store with a great wine selection, best cheese selection in Spokane, fabulous glazed pork, and beautiful prepared items. I wish Miami had a store as nice as this one!

Wonderfully bright and fresh food market in the heart of downtown Spokane in Kendall Yards! I often stop here when in the area to grab a quick bite to eat from their yummy deli. Love the upstairs eating area and outdoor patio with views of the city.

Custom interesting stuff definitely a little extra charge on prices but all in all some products arent even marked so youre constantly going back looking for prices that kind of p**** cramp in your day its okay but it is spendy

Delicious Bhan MI at the hot breakfast counter. I was a little surprised to pay 12 dollars for a head of cauliflower but if your looking for the organic stuff, here it is :EDIT: going back to look at the receipt I misread it, 8 dollars for the head of cauliflower.

Went in not knowing what to think/expect, my wife told me of the place and wasnt super impressed. We went got in and I was speechless. From the mushrooms to the bottled wine. Specifically I went for seafood, which as you know is a very questionable choice given our location but I was absolutely stunned. The scallops were fresh and firm, the lobster tail was expertly prepared for sale (raw) and of course fresh at an excellent price. Was very pleased and satisfied with my results. Highly recommend.

Its a pretty upscale place. It reminds me of the Food Coop in Moscow, but more like a conventional grocery store. It wasnt very busy there. The prices are high, but you dont shop at a place like that expecting discounts and loss leaders. The employees were very friendly.

This is the store I prefer to shop at, much better selection than most grocery stores in Spokane. The deli is really well stocked with excellent quality. The meat and fish counter is also well stocked. Also their baked goods are on point, better than any grocery store in the city.

This is a great store with lots of variety. I’ve found that it’s a good balance between a bigger store like Rosauers and smaller stores like Main Market. I thought the prices were fine, nothing out of the ordinary, the cold and hot cases are packed with a good variety of good looking food, and the meat selection looks good also. Produce has always been good, the beer selection is good, and the coffee stand is staffed by friendly people who serve good coffee. The indoor and outdoor seating areas are nice, the little bar, when it’s open, is great, there’s good bike parking and it’s on several frequent bus lines.

A little expensive, but convenient and during non-covid times I like their hot bar.

Great atmosphere. Love the coffee stand. 4 stars because I would appreciate the ability to tip the baristas electronically since I never carry cash and they do such an awesome job. The employees are always so kind and courteous.

Really interesting store. I have a family of 6 and do a lot of meal planning - grocery trips are a big deal in our house. This feels like a specialty store, but I can get 99% of my shopping done here without hitting one of the big chain stores. COVID has put a damper on, and Im looking forward to the salad bar and hot bar being opened again for lunch!

The lobster tank is so sad! I love all the organic and earth friendly products but to see the lobsters was really heartbreaking….

Great local store. Love the variety, place is a little more expensive but they carry many brands and items that I cant find elsewhere in Spokane at the bigger chain stores. The deli and fresh bar items are really good, I look forward to the covid rules eventually going away so the self-serve salad and hot bars can be a thing again.

I found Irish soda bread and a potted shamrock on the day I needed it most! I also found an incredible black bean brownie in the bakery, my favorite Nancys probiotic yogurt, cashey/almond milk with 10 mg protein, and much more! All that in a sterile store that wipes down surfaces and check-out screens regularly. Thanks!!

It is an adventure with a mix of natural organic and urban grocery. Bistro included. Interesting place with a lot of selection and nice employees.

Overpriced on everything, would recommend Natural grocers for produce. They do a cool little local jam section and bulk nuts and such though, yay!Also have good drink and vegan food selection.

Pleasantly bewildered by the chill atmosphere within. I imagined much more price inflation and self-righteousness than is present. Felt a bit like Safeway/Albertsons instead and is within the same price range. That they sell many local products such as produce and seafood is a welcome bonus. The store is well cleaned and the staff are polite and available, but not pushy.

Great grocery store for those who live in Kendall Yards. I feel its a bit expensive but I do like the variety they offer.

Shame on you for having a tank full of lobsters crammed in a tank, their legs shackled, waiting to be boiled alive. And shame to those who pay for this to happen.

This is a great place to meet, shop or browse. The staff are Awesome. If you have a chance, stop in and support and encourage their efforts.

I like coming in here to shop but not as much any more. Sometimes when I’ll come in a brown haired lady at the coffee station (if she is working) will give me a look & stare straight at me for a good 5 seconds or more until I walk past her station. I don’t know what her deal is but she should just not look at customers if she is going to give them looks them for no reason.

The location is a bit out of the way for us, but we were looking for a new option for fresh produce and meats. We were not disappointed! Great selection and clean store. Would recommend it to friends.

All the staff were very helpful. From the guy stocking shelves who was willing to reach a bottle off the top shelf for me, to the cashier who double bagged my order, to make sure that bottle didnt tear through the bag on my way home.

Holy guacamole - or should I say Poke Bar! I absolutely love this place for the ready to eat food selection. I can grab a bowl full of delicious Poke and have a seat upstairs! Its a cool idea and I enjoy it! Bonus - its super close to downtown yet there is always plenty of free parking!
