Nice store excellent customer service Ive got to get back there again!

This is now my favorite store in Spokane. Mike was the sales person that helped me pick out a new Jet bandsaw. The service was excellent. Now I have sights on a table saw and wood lathe. If you would rather see what you are getting before you buy, this is the store for you. The store is very well stocked.The crew in shipping & receiving were friendly and very careful loading my new saw. Now if I could only get the saw away from my wife. Thanks Mike & see you soon.

Staff always helpful and pleasant. Wide selection of power tools and hand tools. Does not sell lumber, so not sure why Google labels as home improvement store. Took off one star because the owner recently ended the long time policy of free labor on repairs of electric power tools purchased here. That was a huge selling point for us. No longer an incentive to buy here if tools similarly-priced or even lower-priced elsewhere.

A bit pricey on some items but good deal on others. Know your tools. Band saws re great quality

Ive bought several items here and had several tools worked on. Theyve always been very helpful and courteous. The selection is incredible. Important to remember, theyre tool guys! This isnt Nordstroms. Theyre straight talking hard working folks that use the products they sell.

Have bought quite a number of tools here over the years. Mostly power tools (wood and metal work), but also bought my las chain saw here. Easy access from the freeway with good parking. Friendly/knowledgeable staff. Large inventory of items you need (bits, blades, and wheels) to keep using your tools.

So rude! Absolutely terrible customer service. Someone needs to teach some manners to their employees. Especially common courtesy on the phone. They used to be a good shop years ago but they obviously do not care who they hire anymore. I have never been treated so badly on the phone asking simple questions. Joseph you should learn some manners.

Better versions of (same name )tool compared to that orange box place, and they honor a warranty, I have bought so many great products from Spokane Power Tool & Equipment, and they always have in stock what you need . Better quality bit tips do better work, and they have them all and they carry so many specialty tools in stock. They have great selection of every hand tool you need as well. Whether you are a contractor or a home owner, they will get you the quality tool you need with alot of knowledge and wisdom to help you in your purchase.

If you cant find what you are looking for ask! If they can get it for you they will. Lots of knowledge there to figure out how to make stuff work. Couldnt find the OEM shear pins for my snow blower but they helped fond some that would work. Friendly helpful staff reasonable prices and great selection.

I like to try and support local business but this one is so in the stone ages it’s impossible to support them. I’ve had laughably bad service experiences with “one guy is on vacation so we can help” to terrible sales experiences with ancient computer systems that can’t pull receipts well.Unfortunately the hassle of their disfunction isn’t worth shopping here.

Great People with a great store. I was running in late right as they were about to close needing a tool. They helped me find it fast and let me know of the lifetime repair they have when you buy the tools from them!!!! I will not by from a local tool truck anymore these guys ROCK!!!

This place gets 1 star because less isnt possible. Rudest staff, takes an unbelievable amount of time and people to do a return on a simple item, WITH a receipt! Fill out a form and more!! Ridiculous on every level!!! Air Electric is 2 blocks away!! Then it took a week for my credit card to be refunded!!

I went to Spokane power tool today to find a drive belt for my German jointer/planer combo. I asked for help at the front desk, they directed me to the shop, who sent me back to the front desk. Neither employee acted like they wanted to help me find the belt. I will just order it off of eBay, there is a reason brick and mortar stores are going out of business.Also while I was in the store, there was a gentleman that had bought the wrong type of oil for his machine as directed by an employee. He was trying to return it for the right type and the guy behind the counter said in a very harsh tone “He didn’t buy that here”. Even if true, the way the employee said it to this customer was so demeaning.I would recommend working on customer service training for your employees. I don’t plan on going back to your store to buy anything as I can find things cheaper online anyway and then I don’t have to deal with rude employees.

I had a Dewalt buffer that was a few days past warranty when it decided not to work anymore, I had a car in the shop that had compound on it and needed to be finished ASAP. I took the buffer into Spokane Power Tool and in less than 10 minutes I was heading back to the shop with a brand-new buffer. Michael was the customer service rep that helped me, thank you Michael I really appreciate you and Spokane Power Tool.

We went in looking for a new lawnmower and were quickly helped to find the perfect one in our price range by a knowledgeable salesperson. While we paid, he serviced it, then ensured we knew how to use all the features and helped load it into our vehicle. Very good service.

After reading some of the reviews I almost decided to go somewhere else but i am glad I didnt. The salesman is an expert on the equipment which made my choice very eaaaaaasy. I dont remember his name but my granddaughter and I thank you for your patience.My granddaughter wanted a table saw for her hubbys birthday. We found a Skill saw that fit her budget..

This is my go-to tool store. Knowledgeable, great selection and friendly staff. I recently purchased a Honda lawnmower and even got a post sale walk through (like a car)! Every tool purchased comes with a free lifetime labor warranty.

I dont know if its due to covid or just plan horrible service, but noone at counter no one in store yo help customers. As a business owner that has bought thousands of dollars worth of tools from Spokane power took in beyound disappointed in there service lately. I went upto the counter to ask if they have any tear-off shovels lady had no clue what i was talking about anther guy piped up ya we have some believe on back wall. Well thanks for the help apparently to hard to go make sure customer finds product. Nope walked out never ever will I return. Sorry Spokane power took lost thousands of dollars. Ill go where they care....

This place is an amazing store. Better selection & prices on gas power tools than most of the bigger hardware stores. I found someone to help me with my purchase before the door had even closed. Their staff is an amazing group of individuals! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great deals on power tools.

Love the selection. has brands you wont find anywhere else unless you order it. but they are a little to involved in your shopping. literally had a worker follow me around like he was shopping with me. trying to push items on me .

Love that place

Took our new snow blower in to have the cable replaced after my husband broke reverse. For one snow season, without the reverse feature on the VERY heavy duty snow blower, i spent a bit of time on my butt after slipping n falling trying to pull that beast backwards. $35 later it was just like new. Thank you Spokane Power Tool for reliveing my aching backside😊

Not impressed with this outfit. I went in to look at a chainsaw and knew exactly what I was looking at as I had researched those saws plenty on the manufacturers website. They were either being deceptive in pricing or didnt know what they were doing but they had a special price on a saw and listed the part number, but that part number was NOT for that saw. They looked close, but it wasnt it. So the special price wasnt special at all, it was actually the normal suggested retail for that model of saw. The sales person tried to play me for stupid.Play at your own risk with these guys. If youre buying new, check prices.

Iv shopped here for years and the level of customer service is terrible sales people with smug attitude as much as I hate to say it homedepot employees are friendlier

Salesman said he would honor competitors price on a honda mower... got to the registerAnd the manager refused to honor the priceBecause it was listed for more on the other companies wed site..i had a picture of the sale tag from the other company which he wouldnt even look at. I told him to keep it and left....wont ever be back so I guess hes the winner.

Went to have a Makita item fixed because they are a Makita service center and thats what Makita told me to do when I called. I went in and the GM refused to eFix my item stating they are a private business and can do what they want. I am a general contractor and will never give them my business again.

Spokane Power Tools, is a great place to take your lawn equipment to get repaired, frienly staff. The only thing that was wrong is I took our small rototiller in two months before spring to get a tune up/repair and told them about it being hard to pull the starter rope. This repair cost me $46.00 had to take it back because it was doing it still so they suggested putting an easy pull on it which they did; and this cost me another $58.00 why didnt somwone suggest this in the first place?

This place is great for getting things right now instead of a few days from now on Amazon or Ebay but there is a bit of a premium for that.

Mr Bill and all had what I needed, everyone checking if Ive been helped while waiting. Great customer care.

As the Milwaukee service rep in Spokane I was expecting excellent customer service from SPT. I have two Milwaukee drills in need of service both less than a year old. I both called and came in in person and both times I was told they couldn’t help me. They claim they need a receipt to service Milwaukee tools even though the serial number gives the month and year they were manufactaured and continued to shove some stupid website down my throat for getting repairs. Saying even if I had a receipt it could be a month before their repairman even got to it. This is a blatant lack of customer service and complete laziness on their behalf. I never had this issue with dewalt or porter cable. I will never buy anything from them again nor should you.

I cannot believe these so called positive reviews. These reviews were more than likely generated by the employees. This place is not what it claims to be.

Just called to find out about generators and the salesman was very short and rude they just lost a sale on a pair of Honda generators I will buy from north 40 they are nice and very helpful I will never set foot back in this store

Purchased a High end DR Brush mower from Spokane Power Tool- Sept -2016. They claim to be the official DR Sales/Service Rep for Spokane. Went into the store service dept. the next spring to ask about availability of maintenance supplies (I.e. - air filter, oil filter, belts and spark plugs.) First response was - What is a DR. Then not only do they have no record of my purchase they also dont have a clue as to which make and model I purchased and if I need the filters and additional parts that I would have to contact DR directly. Yet they encouraged me to bring in the machine and they would try and guess which air and oil filter, spark plugs, belts, etc to service the machine even if they were the wrong ones. They further suggested that if this did not suit me - Well I should try Wal-Mart.

Knowledgeable staff for the most part and always thinking of that $3 material you forgot for that project, you will be glad they recommended for you too.

Spokane Power Tool rocks

I have done lots of business here spent thousands of dollars and would have spent lots more, but for the lack of some consideration on one transaction. I bought a product on the recommendations of the sales rep explaining my needs and what I would be doing with it and he said this should work great. It did not! And they will not take it back. I used it for a whole 2 min. Not happy at all with the way the manager/ owner handled it at all! saying its all muy fault and they absolutely will not take it back! Our work with me. They have lost my business, muy familys business, and out companys business all because they were unwilling to make things right and work with me.
