Submitted an online form requesting a test ride and within minutes Marcia answered we were welcome to come over. On arrival Ric patiently explained options and had already set up a test bike to accommodate us—two seniors with very different heights and weights. Within 10 min we were test biking on the quiet neighborhood streets. What fun! We bought the used model Ric had set up for us oldsters and are having a lot of fun getting out in our neighborhood. Nice people, awesome shop.

Be sure to call ahead since this place operates by appointment only. The owner was nice and knowledgeable, with the parts I needed for my wheel build on hand at a low cost. Ill definitely keep House of Tandems in mind for my next parts purchase. Also, where else are you going to find a bunch of tandem bicycles that you can try out before committing to a purchase?

These people are amazing. Right before a big trip with my daughter we found a major technical problem with our ride. The local shop really had no idea what to do. I called Ric and explained the situation. He knew exactly what was going on and how to fix it. He even got on the phone to explain it to the local shop and then we Fedexed them the parts. I wish Ric had done the work but at least we can ride. Those of us who love tandems know there are subtleties and complexities. Knowledgeable professionals make all the difference. (And they are ultra nice)
