Very friendly and patient sales people. We were greeted as soon as we entered the store. We made our way to the bikes and a young man named Dalton came over and asked if we needed assistance. We told him what we were looking for and why (mountain bikes for casual trail riding to get healthier) and he was very helpful.Dalton answered all of our questions (even answered questions about bikes that his company didnt carry) and he was very respectful and polite.We ended up buying a Cannondale bike on the spot and had a solid plan for a second bike based on our conversation with Dalton.I cannot say enough good things about this store. A+ top notch experience and I am EXTREMELY picky about customer service. We will definitely be back to purchase all of our biking and outdoor needs.Job well done!

My wife and I decided to purchase bikes in order to expand on our exercise routine. We were at a neighboring business when we saw the bike sign on the local Sun & Ski Sports building and decided to go in and look around. When we entered the store we were immediately greeted by someone at the check out register. They asked if we needed assistance and pointed us to the bike department. Once in the bike department we were greeted by Shane. We told him our plans for the bike and he began showing us some different models and options. During this time he fielded our questions and offered us insight on the different models and types of bikes. In this process of looking for bikes we made a couple of trips back to the shop, speaking with Shane both times. We purchased my wifes bike and a Saris Freedom 2 bike rack from Shane. Our experience with the store and Shane were top notch. I would definitely recommend going by and Visiting with Shane if you are in the market for a new bike.

Not the cheapest, but always a good buy. Ive bought four bikes here and have never regretted it for a minute. If you are looking for quality service and knowledgeable people, this is the place.

Came in with questions on a new bike, guy with long beard at the front greated me immediately entering. Made my way to the bike section spent 20min looking at their selection, the guys saw me and no one offered help, the two gentlemen walk in and immediately the guys ask what can they help them with and got to helping the gentlemen. I was standing there like i was invisible, came in with the intention of purchasing a new bike, but not any more i will take my business where all customers are welcome.

Both Joe and Jeff in the bike department were friendly, knowledgeable and patient with me, as Im new to cycling. I bought a really nice hybrid style bike and I love it. They make sure to take good care of you there. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for bicycles, maintenance services or nice outdoor apparel.

Just wanna say Im definitely a customer and look forward to buying more bikes from them in the near future. Ive had to return for a couple adjustments on my bike and they tend to me very well and promptly. Both thumbs up 👍👍

I purchased a blke recently from Sun an Ski, Mark A. was the salesman helping me. He was very helpful and courteous. He took time to explain features of the bike I bought as well as letting me take it for a test ride in front of the store. I have dealt with this store in the past for skiing equipment and have always had a good experience with the staff. Good place with good people.

I have never been skiing before (husband has), and we’re going in March. I had no clue what I needed. The workers here were very helpful answering my million questions! Yes, it’s a little pricier, but you get what you pay for (as my husband likes to say!) I’d much rather spend a little more, be warm, and have stuff that’ll last for years. Can’t wait for our trip!

My boyfriend and I came in right when the store opened at 10:00 am on a Saturday. We had been to this location before multiple times checking to see if they had the bikes we had been looking for in stock, hence us coming in early. There were a couple sales associates talking amongst each other. We both saw 2 hybrid bikes and were looking at them for about 5 mins. However, not once did anyone come up to us or ask for help despite us waiting for assistance. Then, a lady came in and seemed to not know much about bikes, and a sales associate went up to her immediately. Within 2 mins, the SALES ASSOCIATE took the bike my boyfriend was interested in out of his hands because this lady was taller and needed a XL. She wasn’t interested in a mountain bike, so he said this is a hybrid. We could not believe the audacity. We immediately decided to leave and as we were walking out, the same sales associate proceeds to ask if we had any questions about the bikes. My boyfriend did said we were about to buy 2 bikes, but now we’re going else where. We bought 2 Specialized bikes for less than what we would’ve paid for there and got the best customer service from John at Bike Land off 45!

Don’t ever write reviews but I felt like this is needed. I was about to buy two bikes until a sales rep basically took a bike from my hands and gave it to another customer...That being said I went to BikeBarn and got 2 great Specialized bikes that were cheaper than the bikes they had at sun and ski. John at bikebarn got me and my girlfriend hooked up and gave us 10% off. Glad I didn’t buy anything from Sun and ski bike shop.

So far so good. They are half the price of bike shops around the woodlands.

In this day in retail, getting customers in the door is the hard part, closing the sale is the next hardest. Have never purchased from Sun and Ski, but went tonight with the intention of purchasing at least 1 new bike, and possibly a second. You may not care, but thought I would let you know that you guys lost a customer tonight.My wife and I drove over to Sun and Ski in Spring, TX tonight to check out the bike tent sale.The store is open till 9pm, so we drove 25min over there, arrived about 8.15. Walked over to the tent area and looked at some bikes. The 2 guys outside were busy cabling up the bikes for the night. Neither acknowledged us till they got close enough and I asked a couple of questions and told the guy that we were looking for a new bike for my wife and possibly myself. His reply was we closed the tent at 8 so that we can get it locked up for closing time. you can come back tomorrow. We told him that wasnt going to work and he just shrugged and turned around.We walked across the parking lot to the store, thinking that there might be some additional bikes in the store since they closed the tent an hour ahead of store closing time. Only thing in there were the $5K Orbea rigs. Nobody in the store ever even acknowledged out presence in the building. We walked in the door. A female staff member looked at us and looked back down at the shoes in her hand. We walked to the right made a counter-clockwise loop around the store, past the bike area and back to the front, once again passing the staff member in the shoes. We looked at each other, smiled and said oh well... guess they dont care... Walked back to the truck and left.

Bought my Santa Cruz mountain bike here. Love the bike but love the service even more. Great experience. Michael at the bike shop knows everything about all types of bikes and treats you great and can answer absolutely every question imagined. This is my spot for tune ups and repairs and gear. Also I’m a snow boarder and get my waxes here before each winter. Awesome vibes all around in the shop. Bunch of cool dudes that treat you like a friend. 10 thumbs up all around. Recommend 👍🏻

I’ve visited this location several times and I’ve really never been disappointed. I was there this past winter for ski clothes and the gentleman did a fantastic job helping me get what I needed knowing this was my first trip. He was very helpful telling me what I need and getting me the right stuff. My most recent visit was an online purchase that I had shipped to that location to pick up. It was very easy and convenient and even though I really was feeling too lazy to try the items on the gentleman asked me if I would like to and I went ahead and did. Everything fit and I was happy. Also my friend and I looked at bikes while there, bike shop people there are always very friendly and let us test ride a couple outside. Still on the fence regarding the bike situation but we’ve purchased bikes from them in the past and will not hesitate to buy again. Keep up the good work guys!

We had a wonderful experience when purchasing bikes at this location after we had visited other bike stores around the area. Michael was very thorough in reviewing all details. He scoured their system for bikes that were perfect for us, adjusting them for us once they arrived, and reviewed maintenance tips so we are as comfortable with them as possible. I highly recommend visiting this location should you need anything bike related.

Just had a terrible experience with online order on sun and ski site, the payment went through, and I was sure my order is being processed. After I didn’t see any email about it within the next 24 hrs I called customer service and they told me my order got cancelled because they do not accept international cards, I asked why I didn’t receive any notification right away and why the payment was not rejected but went through instead and they could not give a clear explanation. Now I’m without a Xmas gift to my husband and without money as it hasn’t been returned back to me card and my bank now will need to contact sun and ski and ask their confirmation which is not a fast process . Very frustrated and very disappointed with sun and ski online experience .

He was very patient, gave excellent advice, and found us awesome bikes and accessories within our budget. We were very happy with the prices and quality, and left the store feeling excited about riding again!

Very limited. Especially with tune ups. Small list of stuff they will work on. Say its liability but really just want to sell you overpriced goods. Go to S. Bernard or other outfits. Its a drive, but SO much more worth it. This outfit scoffs at a discount and refuses to sell old stock just to make margin.

Me and all of my friends shop at sun and ski for one reason and one reason only COSTUMER SERVICE....their employees are simply the best in business and very friendly, trust me they will take care of you!I had a situation when Harvey hurricane flooded their store at Stubner and my bike was there to be fixed!! Was passing by on Thursday and saw them cleaning the store and guess what My bike was flooded to!!!Guy that I spoke to Cody which by the way is a great guy told me that they will send all costumer bikes to a Woodland location....on Friday went to that location and met Michael (bike section manager), he understood my situation and since my bike was almost new he offered me many options (by the way I was there for two hours), I ended up with a better brand new bike for a same price that I paid couple of months ago!!!!Thanks Mike and kudos to a team that are doing a awesome work, Micah, Cody, Steve, Jeff....

Just bought two bikes from this location and very pleased with our customer service we received and of course our new bikes. Not only did Josh set my brothers board up backwards, but he cross threaded one of the bolts on the boards, ruining one of the holes on his brand new board. On top of that, the screws that were put in correctly, were completely loose and the binding would have fallen off in the first use. I took the board home and redid it myself

Not once approached and asked for help. Waited almost 10 min to get checked out, wouldnt price match online retailer, only brick and mortar. They could only name one competitor they price match. Its 2020 take care of your customers before you become obsolete.

Searched for a new mountain bike for the past year. I came in frequently to Sun and Ski to test ride mountain bikes. This store has a great selection of bikes, particularly their Santa Cruz and Orbea line. I ended up purchasing a 2017 Orbea Alma 29, which was exactly what I was looking for. Michael was great to talk to and he always gives good info on bikes and equipment. Highly recommend this place!

Jeff at the Spring, TX store took care of me in helping me to purchase a new mountain bike. He was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and getting me fit correctly on the bike.

I went to the Sun and Ski Thursday night, and I didnt expect the high level of customer service found at the store. I met Travis who gave me expert recommendations about winter shoes since Im heading up to Canada, and he shared valuable tips about tying knots, what socks to wear, and the different strengths of the boots. Defiantly will come here again to shop.

I went in 3 weeks ago with my board to get it tuned. A long haired guy told me it would take about a week to get done at another store. Two weeks later and it still wasnt back. When it finally came back there was rust all over it as well as wax caked over everything. None of the gouges I asked to be filled were taken care of. It almost looked worse than when I dropped it.THANKFULLY there was a younger looking kid with glasses who offered to take the board home with him and clean it up. When it came back it looked GREAT. There was no rust on it all of the gouges were filled in and smoothed over; it looked beautiful. Supremely disappointed that a ski shop couldnt do for me what a kid in his living room could do. Not only that, but he refunded my tune as well even though I said I didnt mind paying and refused a tip. He simply seemed happy to do it. Thanks so much to John/Josh, I believe one of those was his name, for helping me with my board and giving me good Breckenridge bar suggestions. Very disappointed with the company (which is the only reason Im not giving 5 stars) but I am extremely thankful for this young man and the rest of the team at his store. Will only be coming back to this store in the future!

Terrible service, I brought in my brand new board to have my bindings set up for regular footing. Josh set it up goofy and stripped one of the screws leaving it ruined. He also left all the other screws loose. I would hate to work under Josh, he treats all the employees under his management with disrespect. Every time he talked to one he bossed them around and demanded that they do petty tasks he could have easily done. I have never left a google review before in my life but strongly felt the need to do so.

Michael was super helpful getting me set up with my first road bike and all the essentials.

My girlfriend and I showed up about 30 mins to closing Michael was the only one there at that point and despite helping the poeple in front of us and as close to closing as they where he took his time and answered all our questions with genuine enthusiasm. He helped us pick out bikes, although we where not able to purchase at that time when I do bite the bullet and buy a bike it will be from these guys. You may be able to find the bike your looking for a little cheaper elsewhere but here with Michael and his crew you get something money cannot buy, a genuine enthusiasm and customer care 2nd to none! Looked at five jackets and non of them available in XL. Large was the biggest size they had in everything i looked at. Staff said they had non other sizes.

My sons bike flooded at their Stubner location. They called us and offered to replace his bike for free with a brand new bike. His bike was bought in 2014, and they gave us 2017 mountain bike for free as a replacement. This is above and beyond what we expected. We will be customers for life!

We planned to buy shoes and jacket for our trip, but there were no staff to help us. 2 of them were in the office and one guy at the bicycle repair stand and none of them care to help. So we just left, not going there again.

My husband I went in to purchase two bikes. Michael did an exceptional job explaining to us the best bikes to purchase as beginner cyclists.

My friends and I stopped into this place to get a few things and the service was nonexistent and after my girlfriend bought a shirt she asked if she could go put it on and the employee said no problem. Not even 5 minutes later we get asked if we paid for it. She was embarrassed to say the least. I will not be back.

I walked up to the register and stood for at least a minute while the employee logged on to the computer. He didn’t say “hi” “ how are you” or any kind of greeting. He checked me out and as he handed me my bag I said “ thanks”. He didn’t say a word to me. That’s why I won’t shop here again
