Used car purchaseSales guy was amazing and that was about it. Received the car no gas in it neither license plate lights worked. Two tires had nails in them in non patchable spots. Oil was pitch black and low like nobody changed it before my purchase. I saw the car before it was cleaned up the detail shop buffed the car and destroyed the paint buffer trails everywhere, swirled paint and spots where they burnt straight through the paint to the metal as well as melted a marker light the car is most likely going to need a paint job at this point. When I originally looked at the car the battery was weak they told us it was because the detailer was listening to music that they would charge it and the battery would be fine it wasn’t and had to be replaced.
Unfortunately i will not be buying my next car from here. It would take a mind blowing deal to get me to come back. The reason I am going with 3 stars is because My sales guy was great. If it was not for him, it would be a 2. Pricing i think could be better, service department needs alot of work. Way to slow, even before Covid. Customers should be updated daily on the status of there vehicle whether by phone, text, email, or by App.
I wanted to reach out to you on behalf of my wife and myself about one of your Sales Associates Nick Fugate. Nick sold my and I a car yesterday at your Jeep dealership.My situation was quite unique in my standards, I have been going through a bankruptcy, waiting for approval from my trustee, waiting on confirmation etc. This process almost took two months all on my end. Nick remained patient and professional and kept contacted with me almost every day just let me know he has not forgotten about us and that he was continue to checking to see if confirmation has gone through. If I had any questions at all throughout this process Nick was always there to answer them. Nick dealt with my timeline and really catered to every one of our needs, never complaining or ignoring even though the sale wasn’t going to happen until the confirmation.Yesterday my wife was actually having an episode of Vertigo, while we were purchasing the vehicle and Nick was extremely patient and sympathetic to her needs. We had to leave in the middle of the process and then come back, and he had everything ready for quick signatures and to keep the process moving in order to get my wife back in a timely manner. Nick is absolutely the Associate that we have ever dealt with and now you guys have clients for life. I have been with Marriott Int. for over 20 years and Nick is a keeper!! People watch your paper work before you sign . I didnt realize they added3 more months to my loan and raised the MSRP by 530 dollars . I know its my fault and lessen learned . Just be careful read everything. Dont trust what you are told. They only care about the sale.And how much they can get you for.Also dont fall for any paint warranty it dont cover nothing read it and you will see. Dont give them your keys unless you have a second set once they appraise your vehicleits hard to get them back and they will pressure you in a conversation to buy from them. They play the same old tricks like always. Like stain guard for your seats what a joke. Be careful of up charges. Jake the Snake. They are not 4.6 rated, look them up, its more like 2.6 on other sites.
My sales person Deontae was great. Helped find the car I wanted for the payment I wanted as well. He was very patient and worked to advocate for me. Highly recommend. Will be back when it’s time for an upgrade.

First time truck buyer. Eric Fuss was a friendly salesman who helped me purchase my new vehicle. Very attentive, asked questions and did his best to meet my needs. I wished finance discussed pricing and went through the break down with me since I said this was my first time buying a brand new vehicle. I didn’t realize how expensive extended warranties along with other expenses could be. However, they were very nice and did explain what the added were and what they did for me. Besides that a very pleasant experience!

My husband & I were in Cincinnati visiting family over Labor Day weekend when our Grand Cherokee battery light came on. The engine was smoking. It was Friday night and we knew we would be hard pressed to find someone that could fix it in time for us to get back to St Louis on Monday. My husband called Jake Sweeney service for help Saturday morning and talked to Robby Madrid. He and his staff were very understanding of out situation and had it done that day. I was in the mood for some time to upgrade my Dodge hot rod for a new one. I met salesman Hunter Leighton. Very nice young man. He made the buying experience very laid back and easy. Easier than going grocery shopping. We built a number of hot rods on Dodge website and I picked my favorite. With a small down payment the car was ordered and we were off and running. He kept me posted on the progress of the car like he promised and it came in a little sooner than expected. He called about a week after it was in paint and said your awesome looking car came in today, would you like to pick it up this evening? I said, HECK YEAH I DO ! lol. I get compliments EVERY time Im out and about in it just like my last Dodge. If you need a new vehicle give Hunter a chance. You wont regret it. Jake Sweeney Service is a joke. I bought some New Brakes and Rotors for almost $2,000. That come with 12,000mile/12month warranty. Couple months later I’m having issues, I call in for a service. I get there, they diagnose the car and tell me the issue is from my rotors basically. I tell them I have the warranty, I just came in not to long ago. The service manager tell me they declining my warranty because of the performance of how I drive my car?! What sense does that make? It haven’t been 12 months or 12,000 miles. Never spend money there. Chris Owens is not a good Service manager.

Kaitlin K. had the unfortunate task of bringing me not one, but two pieces of unwelcome news while I waited to have my car serviced. First, that the process was going to be more expensive than I first thought, then later - after having already been waiting more than 2 hours - that it wasnt able to be completed due to an equipment malfunction. Rather than asking me to return another time, however, she went above and beyond, finding a solution with a neighboring dealership. Yes, it was an extremely long, expensive day, but I walked out with a repaired (and clean) car, and as pleasant an experience as I couldve had, under the circumstances. Thats a level of customer service I dont see much any more, and I appreciate it very much.

Dropped off my Jeep a couple times to service, and they have never failed to meet a return deadline.One time dropped off Jeep to get radio issues fixed. Not cheap to fix but, they replaced the FM/AM radio.Month or so later, I get a UPS package with my high school favorite CD that I left inside the radio that was removed. Completely forgot about it, returned to me unprompted. Made my day, good luck finding customer service like that anywhere else.

I’m calling this review “3 or 4” it could have been more. I’m referring to the number of stars. If you look at my other reviews I have a tendency to lean toward the high end of the positivity spectrum when leaving reviews. The one thing that I take seriously is customer service or lack thereof.I don’t believe that the customer is always right but they should always be respected. I recently had my Dodge Grand Caravan serviced and it needed a new starter, front and back rotors and pads, new emergency brake cables and all 4 new tires. Over $2500 in services. It’s a 2014 and I won’t question those services because I believe they were necessary. What I found on my bill that I didn’t request or view as necessary were new wipers.This may seem trivial but the price on the other services already stressed my budget and I wasn’t informed about the wipers. Valvoline had changed my front wipers close to four months ago and because of that I asked them to call me and tell me why that charge was on my bill. I missed the call and received a message in my voice mail that said,”sorry I forgot to tell you that we changed your wipers, I don’t know who did them for you but they were falling apart so we did that for you.” Yeah, you did...but you charged me so I should have been given a choice, especially considering the wipers weren’t that old and I wasn’t having issues with them that I knew of. I would have requested Valvoline fix them. Also, apologizing and then saying deal with it over voice mail sucks, no matter how you phrase it!Now to be fair the woman accepting the payments had excellent customer service and the employee who left me the message did tell me on Thursday that he would try to get my car finished before Saturday so I could take my daughter to her ACT testing and he called me on Friday to pick it up. Even though I was unable to get it that evening, he got it done and I appreciate that!As of today my brakes are functioning excellently, it starts like it should, and I do feel a difference with the new tires on.Maybe next time let me know about any service big or small before performing it. It may seem minor to you but any additional cost could be major to the customer! Also, if something like that happens in the future avoid the condescending voice mail and speak to the person.This visit should have been a four or more but due to the response on my question about an unauthorized service...it’s a three for me.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee L has a far superior the look, feel, and features of our previous expensive imported SUV at a lower lease payment. Todd Ohnmeis in finance explained everything to me in detail. We purchased the Image Guard Protection plan which covers any damage inside and out, lost keys, and emergency assistance. I schedule my 2011 Ram truck for service. A recall, oil change and new key fob. The parts were ordered a week ahead of my appointment date. I dropped off my truck on the scheduled date. That afternoon, the service department called and stated they needed another day. The following day, I left a message asking for an update. No call back. I called again and spoke with someone in service. They informed me, over the two days, no work was completed on my truck. They cited employee shortage and parts. I knew the part line, didnt apply in my case. They offered no loaner car. I pointed out, that I couldve been driving my truck the last two days and when they were ready, call me. The service representative stated, that be like going to Kings Island and cutting in line. I told her to have my keys ready and I picked up my truck and left with zero service.

Poorly ran service department. Chris and Robbie the managers run a department that does the bare minimum for customers. Avoid this service center if you can. I have had multiple transmission shops tell me I got a patchwork low quality job from this location.
Got connected with Hunter to help my friend purchase a new wrangler and ended up trading my Wrangler in for a newer model. My father came in to get a new jeep and had a trade in. Let our sales person know credit was no issue for him but wanted to see what the payments would be. Without signing a disclaimer saying it was fine to run his credit, they did so anyway without his consent. Ironically when we go next door to the Chevrolet store and tell them they could not believe that it happened. The Blazer RS has more for less money than a semi 4 cylinder jeep. Will never ever go back and anyone we know we will make sure to divert any husiness we can to anyone but this place!! If I could give zero stars I would.

Original plan was oil change & service for my Jeep. Todd (advisor) in the service department was professional and I was in/out quickly for what was being done to my vehicle. I then decided I wanted to purchase a new car! I had a great experience purchasing my 2nd vehicle from the Jake Sweeney Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM dealership and my families 5th purchase from them. The salesman Kenny was professional with good customer service and very transparent through the entire process. He helped (me) a very indecisive customer narrow down my choices of vehicles from my long list of wants and helped me remain within my budget. I requested a price for a vehicle through TrueCar from this dealership on Thursday, May 27th. The price I received was in line with those I received from other dealerships and was stated to be good until June 1st. I was contacted by Kenneth Haro regarding this vehicle. We spoke on Thursday and then again on Friday. I agreed to provide a deposit for him to hold the vehicle until I could come see it the following day. Ken was nice enough to go in on his day off to take care of this for me.After making the 5 hour drive to see the vehicle Saturday morning, I took it for a test drive, and then sat down with Ken to discuss the deal. When reviewing the paperwork, I noticed that the sales price was not what I received from them on Thursday. When I questioned it, Ken went to talk to his sales manager. When he came back, they had made only a slight adjustment to the price, but it was still significantly higher than the price they had previously given me. After a couple more trips to speak with the sales manager, Ken said there was nothing more he could do and I would need to speak with the sales manager directly.A little while later, the sales manager came over and sat down. He rudely stated they would not honor the price I had received. I asked him why, and all he had to say is things change. I pointed out that the price I was given was supposed to be good until June 1st. He again just refused to meet the price without any further justification. I was finally fed up and left without the vehicle.I know the reason why they wouldnt sale me the vehicle for the quoted price was because the vehicle was hard to find and they knew they had several other people interested in it and that they could get more money from them. I ended up wasting more than 12 hours of my day, with 10 of those being driving. Despite the fact that Ken was very kind and seemed genuinely upset about the situation, I will NEVER do business with any Jake Sweeney dealership in the future and would urge anyone thinking of doing so to use caution and be aware that this dealership is dishonest and cant be trusted.One additional note, they also refused to offer what my trade-in was worth, despite me having offers in hand from other dealerships.

I would recommend buying a car here as my salesman was fantastic and the ability to help with financing was super superb BUT if you have to have service done for whatever reason, I wouldn’t recommend dealing with that. After purchasing my car, I was told there was something wrong with the back hatch on 2020 Dodge Journey. After some back and forth on making an appointment, once I arrived they had no idea why I was there. I was then asked, there’s only 3k miles on this car, what did you do to the hatch? To which I told her, I didn’t do this, I purchased the car with this issue and was told I would receive a full tank of gas for having to come back in. Which I did not receive because the lady at the service desk did not believe my salesman promised that. This is the third dodge we have purchased since 2015 and I am highly disappointed so far this time. So make sure you get everything in writing and good luck with the service department who does not communicate well with anyone else.
