Found nearly all the items I was looking for and a few new ones to try. The best selection of asian food items I’ve seen out here so far. I will be back!

I had to change my 5 star rating to a 4 star after today. Every aisle I went to the younger girl that works there was standing there just standing there with her eyes glued to me. As soon as I would turned to notice she would run away. I loathe being stared at. Not sure if she was just shocked about my appearance or if she thought I was gonna take the entire store with me. I love your store. Its organized well and you carry great products but please teach your employees manners.

Each time we shop here owner Sangyeal Lee makes sure we find every item we need. He even suggests items weve never tried and we come to love it. I buy Aloe juices from this store. And on occasion Korean beer.Wouldnt shop anywhere else for Asia foods.

Friendly, lots of options, but the frozen items were very freezer burnt. Got some ice cream and a couple other freezer items, and we are unable to eat them for fear of it making us sick from the build up of ice and discoloration.

I attempted to return a bamboo steamer that I used a few times and it fell apart. I was told all sales were final, offered a smaller steamer as a replacement or nothing else, and then was told never to return to the store. Not that I ever would but this at a minimum was totally unacceptable.

Nice variety. Friendly staff. Some things are overpriced but you can get large bulk packages of spices for affordable prices. I was the only person in the store with whom I presume was the owner. I asked him to help me find a quality fish sauce. He told me he doesnt eat fish and continued stocking. After I found the brand I was searching for, 3 crabs fish sauce, he told me at checkout that that was a popular one restaurant owners choose. It would have been nice to be assisted but obviously he was busy. I would return in the future if I dont need assistance in finding anything. He was pleasant.

I love this place, they have a great selection and good prices. The staff is always kind and helpful. I went in today to pick up a few things and the cashier informed me that they are trying to open a restaurant. They offered me a sample and it was awesome. I really hope they get to open the restaurant as I would be a frequent customer.

No matter where Ive lived in town, biking or driving (theres a bike rack btw), this store has been closest Asian market, for a while after Dillons closed it was the closest of any grocery (minus Homegrown Food$, R.I.P.), and their inventory satisfies my needs and wants. Cooler in back has a range of fresh vegetables that varies somewhat, with some seasonal selection like spring garlic scapes in. Always the cheapest place I visit to pick up garlic and ginger. Theyre my go-to for kimchi, rice, kitchen hardware, butane stove equipment, herbal drinks, snacks like that Meiji black chocolate Im digging right now, curry paste, frozen mackerel, etc. Ive always had pleasant interactions with staff, the francophone guy there lately is cute. I could do with a larger selection of the non-m.s.g. versions of the kimchi jars. I basically only ever buy the cut napa and the chives varieties anyways and 95% of the time they have some of the napa cabbage non-m.s.g. jars. Ive worked small grocery before so I understand that things run out. By the way if youve not yet paired kimchi and avocado together, please do yourself a favor and do so!

I came here after donating plasma at CSL Plasma just up the street and after a short and pleasant conversation with the attendant she gave me a bottle of Aloe Vera juice for free! It was very good and refreshing of course and besides the fact that she offered that to me the store really is incredibly interesting with all the new food and product options available. Ive been back several times now and am constantly finding awesome new things to try and they are always very happy and helpful.

Extremely rude cashier, I cannot believe how rude that girl was to me and my girlfriend. Prying into our personal lives and getting mad and calling us rude customers because we didnt answer all of her questions. Well im sorry girl, but you arent the cops you have NO RIGHT to pry into my personal life. I come here for food not for drama and rude employees. I was a regular customer, but screw this place.

The best Asian shop Ive been to. Good selection of pre-packaged frozen seafood and other Japanese necessities. The Mochi bean cakes are insanely good and they have a good selection (several shelves) of sake. One notable thing that they didnt have was Hi-Chew from Japan, although they do have the Taiwanese version which is IMHO just not the same and inferior.

Used to be one of my favorite Asian food markets to get stuff from because of their variety. Today, had the worst customer service I have ever gotten in my life. I’m a server.. so I’ve dealt with rude people for a living. This is a story that will amaze you. This cashier is a younger girl with red hair and glasses. She was Skyping someone else at 7pm very loudly on her phone. When my boyfriend and I are ready to check out, she sighs and tells her friend that she has to help us. Her phone is awkwardly put on the table so the friend is in plain sight and listening to everything. We were kind of like “whatever she is on her phone I don’t care what she does” UNTIL this happened. I tell her politely that I want to split up the basket of goods to pay for my things separately. She asks if I want to equally split the bill and I declined very politely saying “no thanks I got way more than him and it wouldn’t be fair” she then asks with this kind of amused look “are you two just friends?” And we both say “no we are dating” and she asks “for how long” And we say “a few years”. She exclaims to her friend “WOWWWW A FEW YEARS!!! This should be on one account!!” And her friend says “wow a few years yes that should be on one account what’s up with that?!” And we are just shocked at how rude and outright that statement was. What does it matter.. We just kind of looked at her like why is she telling me how to pay for things? She knows nothing about my life and situation. SHE CONTINUES. she says “so are you planning on getting married soon?” And we say “that’s none of your business. None of this is. Can we just buy our things now?” And she says “ok. You two must be young. How rude.” And her friend yells in the phone “WHAT RUDE ASS CUSTOMERS!” At that point we are just completely stunned and upset that we said “Ok. You know what. We are leaving.” And we left. I REFUSE to have someone stating how I SHOULD pay for MY THINGS. It is MY business. If I paid for the entire bill THAT IS MY BUSINESS. If my boyfriend paid for the entire bill THAT IS HIS BUSINESS. IF WE SPLIT IT UP that is our business. In no way shape or form were we rude this cashier. I was absolutely done talking to her and listening to her opinions and wanted my groceries. Sadly she didn’t stop talking and now this store has lost a valuable customer. I have had Very wonderful interactions with the owner of this store and I am very confused as to why they would allow an employee to work for them that acts like that. I would have gone straight to the owner with this situation but she was the only one working the store today. I wish I could have talked to her manager. This is why she was on her phone and saying things like this: she thought her manager wouldn’t know and she knows that we couldn’t go to him today.
