Pretty bad selection of books overall, it just for class books, has way too overpriced electronics all around, basically scalping/ripoff prices, but has some decent snacks, but overpriced jerky for the amount. Books are also overpriced and can be found online for free. Staff was good at doing their job.

It was downright the best shopping experience Ive ever had. I am going to start doing all my grocery shopping and clothes shopping here!

I love the bookstore so much, they have the best employees there. When I get stuck on finding items or books, the employees do not hesitate to help me. There is an employee named George that’s always taking care of new students that come in the bookstore, and he is very good at taking student pictures, so if you ever come across him, please have him take your picture for you.The bookstore sells all kinds of merchandise, so let’s say you want to grab a snack, wanting some new clothes or feeling a little down, the bookstore offers snacks clothes(with our OTC eagle on it) and all sorts of things! So if you ever have the chance please by the bookstore, you won’t regret walking there! They are the best!

Easy to find the books I needed for class. They also have computers, tech, and swag.

For the most part I’ve had good experiences here. However, I tried to return books that had not been used. I came in knowing that I would not get much back for the books, even though they had never been unwrapped, but the person who was “assisting” me told me that I would’ve received an email that stated I would not be able to return those particular books—I didn’t. She also told me I would’ve had to sign something before ever having purchased them—I did not. She even told me that there was no way that THEY could have made a mistake, or forgot to inform me first. The person helping me with my original purchase assured me that I could return them with no problem if I had to. They never told me there would be an issue; sent an email; or had me sign anything in advance. So, either they have problems with communication or they are flat liars.

I went to school briefly, was invited to church by 2 different teachers. This school isn’t capable of following their own rules. I shouldn’t have to pay for going to school here but I did. This tells me that they are mainly after money. I’ll pray for you disrespectful religious people. God Bless.

They do not give you cash back, if you purchased a book using cash, and need to return it, you WILL NOT get your money back, they just give you credit on your account. It says on the receipt that they can put credit onto a credit card if refunding a cash purchase, but many college students dont have a credit card. Also if you purchase a new book in its wrapping, DO NOT open it until you actually start the class. You cannot return opened books for full refund even if you never used it. My daughter bought a book she was told she needed for a class. On the first day of class she found out she didnt need the book afterall. Paid $100 for this one book, thank goodness she didnt open it yet. UPDATE, just bought more books and noticed at the bottom of the reciept it says only 3 DAYS to return items, except for course items-13 days. This doesnt give you much time to make a return.

I’ve never had a single good experience at this book store but everything elsewhere because they don’t know what they are doing they don’t send you any emails on where your stuff is. This place is such a mess

I give the store a 4 overall.If I could rate staff separately I’d give them a 5 but this is a review of the bookstore as a whole.The prices are WAY inflated, so pricing gets a 2.5 or 3. Accessibility gets a 4. Variety gets a 4.5.So overall 4 should suffice.

Would not recommend selling book back here. Over $400 worth of books bought and only received $91 for great condition books. Will be looking somewhere else to sell my book for next semester.

Im new to the OTC system. I went there three years ago and never received a smart card. They sent me back to the cashier to get info on getting the smart card. I didnt have a problem with that, but the women working there were incredibly rude to me. I explained to them that I thought the cashier was where I just was, and the woman stated, WELL WE DONT KNOW WHERE YOUVE BEEN. Then the other woman at the computer gave me a dirty look and handed my ID back to me. I dont know the building well at all. I was appalled that they were so rude to me for no reason. I just needed help, not a bad attitude.

Would not recommend buying your books from any college bookstore, very over priced. I would recommend Chegg or Amazon if you need books for class. However, classes usually just need the course code now a days. The people in the bookstore are very nice though. Very helpful if you are not sure where to go on campus and getting things ready for graduation. Had a very nice experience getting my college picture taken here as well. Only thing I wish was different was their return policy, which is 3 days.

DO NOT BUY YOUR BOOKS FROM HERE. You have THREE DAYS to return your books and after those three days, they wont buy it back for more than 1/3 of the original price even in the original packaging. Nearly anywhere online will have them cheaper and have a 30 day return policy which is how any, non-predatory business would work.

Honestly doesnt even deserve one star. People there were completely rude and not considerate towards customers at all. Have given my sister the wrong book for courses TWICE. Then refused to give a refund of any sorts to her because we were later than a week trying to return it even though the store was at faults of this mistake. Then upon trying to explain whats was going on to the manager he was rude and treated us like we were stupid and not worth their time. Then in order to compromise with her about it he gave a book of lesser value to her, would not give her back the difference, and left it at that. Completely horrible experince. Never going back there again. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to leave aggravated and out $200 that you will never get back.
