I went in and did business with Next Level. Very cool inventory. And they just acquired a beautiful and blue Fender Jazz Bass from yours truly. Its definitely roadworn, yet it has been with me for almost 14 years. Just needed to clear up my instrument inventory and while I am sad to part with it, its new owner will be very happy! Great staff, great products, great business!

Next level is my one stop shop for everything collectable. If they dont have it they will do their best to get it for you and at a fair price. I have been going to them for over 2 years and have become friends with them due to frequent visits and shared interest in collecting. In addition, they have a ton of toys for toy collectors, and they have even started working with pawns, for those who need some money.Overall, a great store!

I wouldnt suggest trading anything in here. Was told that store credit is not real money, and that it wouldnt work on any specials or even most of the regular merchandise. To top it off, they push the store credit down your throat as they never have cash to buy product because the havent been to the bank yet, or nobody has been in to buy anything yet. Will be taking my business ANYWHERE else.

Took my sons PlayStation in to get repaired one afternoon. I figured it would be a few days before we got it back, but to my surprise they called about 2 hours later and said it was ready to be picked up. :) prices and good customer service and very fast service.

They were friendly and understanding. We discovered a controller was broke, so we got a new one right away. Bought a n64 and was told we could return after Christmas if something was wrong, hopefully everything goes smoothly. But, well definitely be returning.

Changling Games is my favorite place to go for Magic the Gathering. Joe, the owner, Is the reason to come. He is very reasonable and always does his best to help you. Fair prices and fair trade ins are what keep me coming back.

I havent actually been to the store yet. I called because I was looking for Half-Life Orange Box Edition for the 360. The man I spoke with checked for me, and even made a little conversation on the phone. They didnt have the game in stock, but he actually thanked me for at least checking with them to see if they did. This is obviously a business that appreciates its customers, and potential customers. If nothing else, their customer service is top-notch. I will visit the store soon, simply based on this phone conversation.

This store is great! They have a lot of games for retro systems and I was surprised to find a ton of OG xbox games for awesome unbeatable prices! It would be awesome if they had some games for Nintendo Switch, but its understandable given how it is killing it in the videogame war between Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft. Deffinitely worth checking out! They sometimes do buy 2 get 1 free just like gamestop!!! Winning! Lol.

This store is trash. I was returning a $30 Xbox 360 controller. He gave me one worth about $7 and a cord priced at $5. Id like my money back. I will continue to tell friends not to spend their money here until they either pay me back or close.

This store is one of the best game shops Ive been in. They have a decent selection of video games, especially older games for ps, xbox. They also have the next gen games. As others have said, the price for games is very reasonable. I got a couple ps2 games and the discs were in great condition and it looks like they clean the game cases and cartriges. Overall great shop.

My X-box 360 went on the fritz right after Christmas this past year. I was bummed because I got some great new games (from Next-Level). I took It in and within minutes I was told what was wrong with it, what it needed and told they needed to order the part. I even got the game back I left inside by mistake.I got my X-box 360 back and Ive been using it (almost abusively) for 4 months now. It runs quieter, It doesnt bog and it works fine. As far as other people posting there is a shady repair man...the only reason there is shade is because he is so tall. LONG STORY SHORT:The Staff at next-level have been trading/buying/and taking my money for 2 years almost and I have NEVER and I do mean NEVER beenbeeneven messed around with. I wish this establishment the best in the future and you bet your butt Ill be using their repair services every time my Xbox bites it due to my horrible usage habits.MUCH LOVE NEXT-LEVEL GAMES!

I would like to mention that Ive been a customer here for a few years now and have been coming in very frequent this year especially. Just this year alone I have spent over $200 cash at this store and I have my account information to prove it through the rewards program. The last few months I have noticed that they havent been giving out cash for people bringing in stuff to sell. They always have an excuse ready such as we havent been to the bank yet today to get cash or we have already used our spending money today, but we can give store credit. Which I understand they are a smaller business and would rather sell their items than give out cash all day to people selling their items. However, I have been getting store credit for some of my items the last two months because I am a collector and have gained many duplicates of items that I dont need and would like to get some credit to put towards other items I dont have. It seems to me that they have gotten sick of me coming in to try and get store credit because the last couple times I brought something in they gave me little to no reason why they couldnt accept it. The last time I went in, and it will be the last time Im in their store, I brought in a ps2 slim that I wanted credit for. At first the woman who was helping me, which only three people work their including the owner, mentioned that since I brought a psone model dualshock controller to give with the ps2, I wouldnt get the full amount of credit. Keep in mind the psone controller does have rumble packs and joysticks and is almost identical to a ps2 controller, the only difference being it says psone on the controller and the connector looks slightly different. Nevertheless, it works in any ps2 with the exact functionality as a ps2 controller. It didnt Really upset because I got the ps2 for next to nothing and I have three more consoles at home. So she continues to plug it in to test it. She was NOT being careful with my property. She was forcing the wires for audio video and power into the back. She didnt properly plug in the controller into the port so it didnt work at first. She eventually realized it wasnt plugged in all the way and tried again. So at this point she finds a disc to test it out. I had tested it out myself before I had left with both types of discs (cd-r and dvd-r) to make sure there wouldnt be any issue. Of course the discs she chooses will not read in the ps2. So she tells me she cant take the system. At this point I am very irritated but I just say ok and Im ready to be on my way. This is where I get actually mad. She doesnt know how to turn off the system correctly. She keeps pressing the power/reset button over and over. All you have to do is hold down the button. As Im telling her how to turn it off she just gets mad and unplugs it from the wall. If she knows anything about ps2s first she would know how to turn it off. Secondly, she would know that if you unplug the unit while its still on theres a chance you can blow the internal fuse. To me it is very obvious she is sick of me coming in to get store credit and doesnt care about my property. I ended up taking the ps2 to vintage stock and they tested it and bought it without issue. If next level games doesnt want to give out cash and/or store credit they need to stop advertising that they will. I am not going back to this business and they will never see another penny from me. It really bothers me that she treated my property carelessly and she doesnt even know how to turn off a ps2 yet she works at a game store.

I first heard about GameWerks when my roommates Xbox red ringed. He brought it to the shop and they got him all sorted out in a fraction of the time Microsoft quoted.Ive since brought my Xbox here twice, first when the laser when out and it couldnt read disks and the second time for the dreaded red ring of death. Both times service was done before the estimated date and the prices were more than reasonable.The only issue we had was that they swap out the fan to keep the unit cooled better, to help prevent future red ringing but neither of us were warned about that until we got the machine back. If were both playing Xbox is sounds like a freaking jet taking off in our living room. BUT, neither unit has red ringed since the fan upgrade so well take the little extra noise for the extended life span.They also ask for a portion of the labor fees up front, which is non-refundable, but I thought that was perfectly reasonable. If they cant fix your unit then what incentive do you have to pay them for their time? I felt that $30 to find out if my Xbox could be saved or not was more than a fair price.

BEWARE OF THESE THEIFS!!! Me and my boyfriend brought our game systems in for repair the ps3 needed drive repair and the 360 had the red light. After almost a month wait waiting for parts he has his shady repair guy hand me a ps3 that seemed more scratched then the one I had brought in, mine was in great condition on the outside. Well anyway brought the ps3 and the 360 home to realize that the serial number didnt match my ps3!! the xbox was mine, however did work only for a couple of days!! They refuse to tell me what happened to my ps3 and within 2 weeks of having the ps3 it got a yellow light and wont do anything!! MINE never had this!! They refuse to give me MY PS3 back!! I think they repaired my drive on my ps3 and sold it and trying to give me their crap!! Im going to the BBB for sure!! PLEASE dont ever deal with these crooks youll be sorry and get the wrong stuff back and pay out the butt for it!! I heard their tech guy is the guy that went out of business for stealing and crooking people at this place called game works!! SPRINGFIELD BEWARE!!!
