Dont bother with this place. All about supporting brick and mortar but you are better off ordering online and not wasting time at this place. I came to make a quick purchase and the dude was just like, wait outside while he yakked it up with some dude. No reason to limit browsing/shopping/capacity to this extreme. Its still stuck in pandemic week 1 nobody knows whats going on mode a year in. Forget about it.

Went here last summer to get back into the hobby after 15 years. Staff was friendly and when I went to get an 8th Ed. Codex they told me to hold off and wait for the 9th rather than trying to sell me on both. Highly recommended for customer experience.

I am a new player who stopped in to get some game information and modeling tips. Walker was extremely personable and well spoken, he was more than happy to answer my basic questions and was encouraging! Absolutely will return for painting and modeling tips and tricks!

Infinitely preferable to the Fairfax store, especially for anyone who plays non-human factions.Every visit has been straight forward, theres been no aggressive attempt to push indomitus boxes in lieu of the discontinued start-collecting sets. The two folks that work the counter here have always been quick to answer questions, and theyre actually good at following Covid precautions which is a huge bonus. You folks are great!

My first time visiting this place as I just got into mini painting but not the actual table top game. The rep who helped me was an incredibly kind person! With COVID restrictions, we were only able to come in to a limited area, which is of course is understandable. Theyre letting in 1 party/household, so my husband and I were able to go in together. I purchased 1 Age of Sigmsr model and luckily he said I can order from the website and pickup in store. Will definitely be coming back!

These guys helped kick off my hobby binge three years ago and open a whole new world of creativity and enjoyment. Robert and Walker were welcoming and helpful - as they should be for hawking such intimidating merchandise! However, I really feel like, as enthusiasts themselves, they put the customers and games first over simply pushing product. Do yourself a favor - if youre in any way intrigued by the Games Workshop offerings, or are just drawn to tabletop wargaming in general, hit this place up. Its really a great little shop.

Robert and Walker are awesome! They are always helpful, happy and ready to answer any possible question you may have. I love coming here for their knowledge and the community.

Great place for a game or two, decent crowd, helpful staff, and full of Games Workshop products. Great for both casual and competitive 40k/Sigmar. Mr. Walker does a great job in introducing new players to the hobby.

Incredibly helpful staff, great atmosphere, and a wide variety of everything Warhammer. Robert helped us, and gave great recommendations on less expensive alternatives for miscellaneous supplies, like brushes and primers. Very kind and willing to help newcomers. They also welcome people to sit in on painting classes. No renting of space is required to run a game.

A smaller games workshop. I happened to visit during some 40k gameplay, which was expected. The store employee, (who forgot deodorant) was overly excited to see a new customer. Immediately honed in and started asking me questions and tried to maintain a conversation when all I wanted to do was just wanted to look around the store, watch the game for a bit and be on my way. I get it you want to make people feel welcomed and engage, but it was to much for me. I did buy something and left, but Ill probably not return.

Great place to see some awesome little models. The staff is very friendly and approachable. They were very accommodating for my kids.

If you love the hobby and all things associated with it. You wont be upset you visited here. Very helpful staff who know pretty much everything you ask them.

Never played miniature games before but the store helped me to understand the game and get a nice nice look at what items look like after theyve been painted. The people who worked there were really helpful as well, the board they had that listed the events coming up was useful as well.

Its a warhammer game store, but their experts on painting minis and terrain. Extremely friendly and welcoming environment with attentive staff. I 3d print, so we were looking for a starting place on how to paint the things Ive made myself and they had all the answers. They even host painting classes for a reasonable price. If I would have taken the time to remeber the gentlemans name that helped me I would write it in, but he told me to bring in pics of the builds and prints I am working on because he likes to see progress pics. Im not even a warhammer fan, but this place is solid.

Walker is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the minis and paints are top of the line.

You know, this place has the friendliest staff Ive met.

The customer service here is phenomenal! When I walked in, the employee was in the middle of a table top game but he immediately stopped to greet me and offered his help and advice. When I told him I was new and looking to learn he asked around the other customers for me and set me up with an introductory game! He answered every question of had and really made what was going to be a nervous experience a great one. THANK YOU!

The guy named Walker working at this store is super friendly and helpful every time I stop in even to purchase the most mundane of items.

Great place. I agree with the last poster. People dont really know whats going on here. One guy does it all. And a lot of models have become web store exclusives. The fact they dont have them is based in the uk. Not that store. I would really recommend everyone go give this place a look. Its 2 hours away but I still make the drive

The customer service here is awesome. They know their stuff and are really helpful. The players that come here are great to. So if you have an army or need an army get on down to this store.

Standard gw. There is usually no problem with getting space to play most days, but it can get a bit tight on Saturday. Also watch out for the 30 minute lunch closure because its usually a single man store.

Great store! Customer service was outstanding. I purchased a Tau Devilfish from another Games Workshop location and started putting it together at home, realized halfway through that it was missing a piece. With no receipt the staff went above and beyond! They opened another box from the store, clipped it out and gave it to me at no charge. They then went through the rest of my parts to make sure there wasn’t any other pieces missing. Five stars!

The guy working here is always helpful, truely loves the game, and will help when you need or leave you be when you dont. Theres never any pressure, the atmosphere is relaxed, and overall its a fantastic place and far better than the typical GW store.

Love this GW location. Dave is great at cultivating a community of players with an emphasis on fun and building each up to paint and model thier best work. All to often gaming clubs and stores form a tight knit circle of players and dont allow anyone to enter their little universe. This store and the people who frequent it have made me (new to the store not the hobby) feel more welcome then any other gaming club I have ever been around. Dave is at the forefront of this accepting, inviting and all around great atmosphere.

Since new management: Very friendly, open community. Very friendly and helpful management (Dave). Great place for warhammer, warhammer 40k and the hobbit table top players or curious newbies to learn. Also Miniature painting class on sundays @3pm. They sell the miniatures, novels, paints and kits. If you more into painting and art this is also a great place to see great miniature paint jobs. Only wish the place was bigger.

GW Tower Center compared to other Wargames stores in the Northern VA area, is out of this world. I have been to this location over the years and so far its been the best Ive seen under Daves management at this location. The store had been cleaned up and reorganized so its more roomy and the atmosphere is more enjoyable. Daves service compared to previous managers, is top notch. He is knowledgeable, will get you what you need and will make recommendations on the GW product line. His Painting expertise is also very helpful. If you are looking to start a new hobby, get your kids started in a new hobby, or, like myself, coming back to an old hobby and need to catch up. This is the place to be.

Very helpful staff!

Just started playing and had lots of questions. The guy working helped me out as well as the guys there playing on the tables. They even offered me to swing by and hangout for a game and if I needed help painting they would show me how.I will be back.
