I generally like visiting this particular Whole Foods and they do have a lot of fresh produce and have a decent selection for being such a small Whole Foods in itself. The staff has always been friendly and helpful but this past Sunday trip I experience something I believe is more of a new normal post Pandemic And that was the sheer amount of Whole Foods shoppers rushing around in their carts and what is already a very limited space and I can’t tell you how many times I found myself just standing in the aisle looking for my favorite item or perhaps a new item to try and I could all of a sudden feel a cart rushing towards me… and then slow down very abruptly to say excuse me in a tense tone…. Finally I got good at just moving out of the way.. I don’t know if they’re accepting too many orders for delivery for that size Whole Foods, or perhaps because it was a Sunday but either way I have vowed not to do my leisurely and enjoyable Whole Foods shopping trip on a Sunday and in such a small store again.

Small store but well kept, I only return here because of the service. Kameron was very helpful and even helped me w my groceries after a surgery. welcoming vibe

Mothers Day special, 20 tulips for $10 for prime members

It was extremely crowded and check-out was very slow. Selection of items was average. Maybe it was just that day. Will have to try again sometime.They allow children with umbrellas (see picture). So Ive upped their rating. It was 8 pm and it was not raining. My real-life choices were limited.

This whole foods store is not as large as fair lakes. But it has most of popular organics. Prices and quality are far superior for organics IMO than conventional vegetables at local Giant stores. Check out for yourself. If you are amazon prime you get extra discounts too. Prices were lowered a year or two ago. Organic Fruits are high quality and fresh. Taste is good

Really enjoyed going to whole foods. They had plenty of carts outside, there wasnt a lot of people, and they had everything we needed.

Went in for amazon return and got few things I needed along the way. This is a smaller store and not shiny amd new but it does the job and easy to get around in.

They carry slightly different inventory than the Old Town Whole Foods. Staff are helpful. I dont like how corporate constantly discontinues my favorite products in favor of their 365 brand knock offs. And the prices didnt stay cheaper when Amazon bought them. Otherwise, I love the selection of organic produce. They are my favorite local grocery store. And you get 5% back if you pay with an Amazon Prime credit card.

I bought three cakes from the bakery on this visit. The staff in the bakery were polite and caring. They also carried out a conversation with me and whoever passed through the area. It seems like normal day considering all the precautions. The store was clean as always and the cashiers were very professional and respectful while making your purchase.

They have good fresh meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables but everything else is over priced. Go across the street to Gaint & youll find the exact same thing for much less. Makes you wonder....

We are feeling out numbered by the “Amazon shoppers”. They out number the regular customers. There is a disregard for social distancing. They leave their carts blocking aisles and dash around you grabbing what they need. It’s difficult to shop safely. This is true during the one remaining designated senior hour as well as other times like last Friday around 10 am as well as Sunday.I don’t understand why this small store seems to be designated for Amazon Shoppers- when you’d be better served by a warehouse or one of the larger stores for these professional shoppers.

I went to Whole Foods in Springfield, Virginia to buy some groceries. Ellie, a cashier, was extremely rude and hasty. Not only did she break two eggs in packing, but also she screamed in front of my daughter and me to exit on a different side. There is a level of respect that one should have in the customer industry, especially with a company like Amazon. Next time, if this experience happens again, my family and I will have to shop elsewhere.

Checking out took a long time. Cashiers could use some help bagging the groceries on very busy days.

Great that you can return Amazon items here. Wish the store wasnt so compact, its easy to feel claustrophobic in there.

April 2021 Edit: WHY DONT YOUR CASHIERS BAG?! I just had a cashier stare at me as I bagged. Didn’t speak to me, just continued to turn on the belt to push the groceries to me as I tried to hurry up because I felt like I was being hurried out. At least she did not start the next customer but still. If there is a no bagging policy you need to tell people. If I knew I’d be less upset. This experience Confirms that I will NEVER shop at this store again. I’ll drive the extra time to the Alexandria store.During a pandemic it would be helpful to limit your Amazon shoppers at peak shopping hours. Most are there to work and are not considerate of personal space. I am also very disappointed with the register staff. I understand that people need to keep the line moving and I am fine bagging my own groceries but the cashier should not take another customer and have them paying right next to me while I still have two bags left to pack. I shouldn’t have to ask for the person to give me a minute to finish up. Also I have had it happen on countless occasions that the bagger leaves when I have my own bags. Is there a COVID rule about not bagging reusable bags?

My 6th time this year. I truly enjoy the rare foods. However the prices have gone up on the Lakewood Juice products. Restroom floors are extremely shiny and clean.

Wonderful bakery! I ordered 4 round cakes to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our Pastor and his wife. I added some berries & a cake topper and they were beautiful & very delicious. Whole Foods bakery is the best!

WF does a splendid job of social distancing, disinfecting, and wearing masks. Also, they offer 0700-0800 hours just for those over 60. Update: no mask enforcement, ailes crowded with Amazon grocery delivery shoppers, clerks standing around at returns counter not helping customers with only a few items. Still, great quality sections--just need to recognize pandemic is currently getting more serious.

Had a great experience at whole foods, lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Checkout was fast and the worker who helped us, Thea, was extremely nice and welcoming. Thanks to her, Ill definitely be back!

Worst Whole foods Ive ever been to. Every employee was unhappy and on edge. At the pastry counter they made me wait, were very unfriendly, the cashier didnt have a single word to say except that I was af too close to the next person. Never smiled, never said hello, never said have a nice day. It was pretty grim. Will definitely never go to this one again. Luckily the one in Ashburn is super friendly.

Seafood dept is getting better and better...especially midweek. Friendly folks too, including the Amazon shoppers!

Amazon has ruined Whole Foods!

I love this Whole Foods! Its on the smaller side but covers my needs. The ceilings are a bit lower than in your typical Whole Foods store and somehow that helps make the produce section smell amazing.

Great place to get what I cant find where I live. But, I felt really disappointed when an old lady came to my husband and ask what he was waiting for because my kids were walking around the fruits area. He was waiting for me to find a GF bread...she looked mad at them so I was even more. She practically walked us to the cashier like waiting for us to leave the place. So disreapectful!!!!

This is one of the smallest WFMs Ive been to. I was surprised they would make them this small. At least there is one near by. Still a nice place with nice people working there.

This store is so boring. Im a loyal WFM shopper but this location has low morale. Could be due to poor leadership. Location is clean, the products are fresh but the floor set up is clunky and not pleasing to the eye.

Went to buy a pizza at 7:20 something and the chef, a guy about 27 or so, told me to wait for 30 min to pick up. I got back there after 30 min and the pizza is already in the warmer. I felt very hungry and ate a slice as soon as i got on my car, but found the pizza is almost cold and very hard to bite. This is definitely not possible if the guy fresh made the pizza at or around 30 minutes. One possible explanation is he used the left over slices and re-made a pizza for me. I request the manager check the surveillance video to make sure he did not cheat the customers.

Cheese samples, get your growler refilled, and very high quality meets. When they lose the snobbish hipster attitude itll be a great place to shop. Feels like it would make a nice corner market. They should reduce the health and beauty part, and provide more of the 365 products.

This store is a joke at how small it is. I love whole foods, but I always hate coming here due to the fact that I cant find anything. Always end up going to another location.At least its clean and the staff is friendly.

Love Whole Foods pizza, but this Whole Foods cant get it right. They tend to be out of ingredients every time we order. They dont know what a white pizza is even though we order it at every other Whole Foods (now we just tell them no red sauce and with ricotta). Yesterday they took the order and then when we got there they said oh, we didnt have ricotta so we just didnt cook your pizza. Sounds like another Whole Foods is in our future. Ordering pizza shouldnt be this frustrating.

My Mother lives in assisted living in Springfield and we live in Columbus OH so I ordered a Christmas dinner with a pie to take to my Moms. When we opened the dinner the pie was not there even though we paid for it ($14!). I was told that I would have to go back to the store in Springfield with a receipt and could only get store credit. So disappointed in this level of customer service from such an overpriced specialty store. Thanks Whole Foods!

Quality and selection have both gone WAY down since Amazon took over. We go there only when absolutely necessary now.

So beyond disappointed in this whole foods. We drove over 40 minutes expecting a true to size whole foods with their normal wide variety. Instead we were met with a small, cramped, overcrowded building. Definitely not worth the drive.

If you want top quality food including great fresh and produce, tons of organic foods and fresh meat and fish, youll definitely be happy at whole Foods Market. The only downside is that the prices are high. Its not our everyday grocery store but if youre in the mood to splurge - its a fun place to go.

This is by far the smallest WF with the worst selection Ive ever seen. What they do have is of course generally very good and now with the Amazon Prime discounts there is even one more reason to shop at WF (just not this one). Store is always clean and well stocked (with the little they do carry) and everyone is always very nice, just wish they had a better location

Great that Whole Foods brought back the “All American” potato salad, but whoever prepared it missed the mark. Way to much mustard that actually made it “hot tasting”. Go back to the original recipe. Big disappointment.

Great selection in the prepped food section that is ready to eat. And, a nice bakery and deli with fresh handsome meats.it is a pleasure to browse this store. Subtracted one star because of high prices. Am hoping prices will drop with Amazon ownership.
