Very disorganized. The food its old and cold. And ther service was fatal. They really need to work and clean the store.

This place have a great clean store. Its Mexican decor looks great. Sadly they are some few things that they could change for a great store that deserves 5 stars. I personally think that they have great offers but they could have a limit of two or three because the limit is always 1. Another thing is that you always have to wait in line. They only have 2-3 cashiers open. Today I was in line for about 30 minutes. They should be a bit faster. The lines are really long

Come here for lunch several times and had a great. Currently, there is a special tacos deal 6 double corn with any meats for $4.99. I also got a large Tamarin drink for $3.99.Love the tacos and it is very cheap. Just open...this is a Grocery store used to be Randalls.

Really nice grocery store that centers on Latino (mainly, Mexican) goods. There are baked goods (conchas, etc), food and drinks for purchase (jamaica, fresh juices, etc), a cheese area and butcher. There are also various grocery-related items for sale. I tried the jamaica and various tacos the last time I came and they were pretty good (they were only $5 for 5.) Overall, I enjoy coming here and would recommend others to come as well.

Have bought a couple time from here fajitas to grill meat tastes old. Their cuts are huge for their beef ribs “tablitas” once cooked has grey markings on em. You get what you pay for. Never again.

Grocerant, for sure!!Last time here, was when it was Randalls. Wow, I am impressed. Fresh pastries in the front. Reminds me a bit of Arandas. W/birthday decor next to bakery, smart move. Near entrance is readily prepared food, fresh fruit juice station, backery, and tables to enjoy it. Biggest chicharrones I have ever seen. Store is very colorful, welcoming, clean, and has a variety of foods. Authenic foods that werent available before when it was Randalls. Has a meat market that I have yet to try. Their bananas are AWESOME, not brown or unripe like heb or fiesta. This store has so much to offer. Definitely the BEST mercado I have ever been to so far, hands down. Check this place out.

I love this store! I’m African American and I know this store is a Hispanic store. However it’s welcoming to all cultures, the music is loud to honor the Hispanic tradition (doesn’t bother me) the food is fresh the store is clean. Everyone seems busy (staff) working to have things in order. The prices are affordable and I simply love it!

I don’t understand the horrible review when this place legit has everything you’re looking for. And especially the review left by Doreen Huston (ignorance at it’s best) Obviously this is a Latin grocery mart, what the heck were you expecting?! Yes they can play their music, and they can represent their culture. Making a false claim like “illegals” wow. Stupidity does not look good on you. Actually it does, go shop somewhere else if you have such a problem with it. That really irks me.Enough about that ignorant fool. My first visit here with mum and it was awesome. There was a nice gentleman greeting at the door with the weekly ad in hand. Actually all the staff were wonderful and very helpful. They showed me where all the items I needed at and lots of free samples! Literally you can eat here, shop here and practically do everything else. It’s super convenient since my mum lives around the corner. The produces were plentiful and the variation of meats were a bit overwhelmingly I just didn’t know what to buy! Seafood were of great choices but not as fresh as I would like. Overall, I can’t wait until they open one in Katy. But for now, whenever I’m visiting the parents, I’ll stop by to grab my groceries here too!

What a hot mess this place is on the weekends. The quality of their meat is just hot gas.. I was very dissatisfied with the quality after spending $200 on 14 Lbs. of meat.

No permiten sacar la silla electrica para mi mama. Nunca eh visto que pongan esto a las sillas.We visit sometimes & this last visit was not good. I asked the guy that collects the shopping carts if this store had electric wheelchairs for customer use. He says he doesnt know what that is. Ok. I walk to the entrance to see if they have chairs, didnt find them. I found them in the entrance. I ask the guy in front for permission to use one because my mom needs one. He says yes and I was about to drive it out to the car when he says I cant take it outside. Im confused as to why and he says they have a bar to not allow them to be taken outside. I have never in my 24 years seen this. Every store we go to, I drive the cart to the car, my mom gets on and gets to go inside to do her shopping. Easy. I cannot believe it. So what am I supposed to do, make my mom get in her wheelchair from the car. I push her to the entrance & in front of everyone she has to struggle & be embarrassed to climb into the electric shopping cart. Then she still has to exit and find the entrance while I go put her chair back in the car. The funnier thing is having to make her get out the cart and into the wheelchair that Ill have to get out the car again so she can leave. What? You think were here to steal your wheelchair. She decided to just get in her wheelchair and we help her around. So much for independence. Good prices but now Ill never see it the same.

I’ve been a customer of El Rancho for YEARS! But very disappointed with the customer service provided by the manager. I mistakenly purchased meat LESS THAN 24 HRS ago (didn’t realize it had pork, problem is I no longer eat pork). Their Return Policy clearly states you have to return within 24 hours. Manager did not care for their own return policy, was not understanding of the situation. Manager just shrugged and said return was being refused. I stated their policy and still manager could have cared less. I ended up leaving the meat along with my receipt and I will no longer be returning to El Rancho. FIESTA here I cooome!

Love this place is the only place where there meat is juice n fresh

This place (which is where Randalls used to be at near the intersection of West Bellfort and Kirkwood) has a huge parking lot that I frequently weld in anytime that an 18 wheeler needs to be welded on if the customer is able to drive it to me and nobody including security ever complains about it or says anything to me about it. I am grateful for the opportunities that this company and every single other business in this parking lot gives to me when ever I need one. Thanks guys.

Worst experience Ive had in a grocery (or any other store) in a very long time. Was made to feel so out of place and uncomfortable that I almost left more than once. From the customers to the cashier I felt that since we didnt speak Spanish we didnt belong there. Skipped over by the deli and the butcher even though they knew that we were next. Prices were definitely not enough of a deal to make me ever return. From the bad attitudes to the fresh fish laying in with the chicken (even though a worker saw it, even moved it aside to add more chicken to the section

This supermarket blows. I bought there pre made guacamole and had to return it. It had way to much onion and was not good at all. That says alot cause there a Hispanic grocery store. Its very common for the lines to be long cause they never have enough registers open as well. Also there produce quality is sub par at best. Fiesta hands down beats this store in alot of aspects. One of them being prices. I for one quit going to this store and go to HEB or Fiesta instead. But hey dont take my word for it. Go shop there if you must.....

I normally shop here and I am happy. Today July 15 I was more than disappointed, I bought the Carne para Tacos (Fajita taco meat) and there was plastic on my meat. YESS PLASTIC!!! Very hazardous not only that I have small children and I am pregnant!! When I called to speak to the manager, the Assistant answered to tell me the manager wasnt there and then transferred me to the meat department. She did not even adress my issue or cared. So this lady at the meat department answers, to tell me she apologized and I could take the meat back and change it!!! I want my money back I dont want more plastic!!! Please be careful when you buy meat from here. Its absolutely careless and disgusting. I couldnt even see the plastic till after I started cooking the meat I saw these very small squarish white pieces.

Good grocery store, but they need more cashiers.

Milk and bottled water are $2. Easy to get in/out at 7pm with short lines. Beef is not cheap but plentiful. Their brand charcoal is cheap and good. Deli is good but totally Hispanic menu. They never missed a beat back when Wal-Marts shelves were bare. Overall its small but good place to shop. Dont expect to find everything in all sizes.

I would suggest to avoid weekends here. Usually only 3-4 cashiers and the lines are horrible.

The culture here is very thick and rich lot of the staff does not speak English very well. They got some really cool stuff here. Gas here is very cheap which makes me come back as well as their Delhis is very delicious. My wife love the lady who does the mendi, facial, and threading here. This is one of those underdog place that people needs to know about.

Love the variety. Watch the fine writing in the sales ads. Good meat sales but only on certain days. They do not carry chuck roast or any type of beef roast, which is a downfall in my opinion. You can get top round roast if you ask for it specifically from the butcher to be cut but it tends to be stringy even when cooked in a crock pot or pressure cooker. The pork chops are great! All other products are rather expensive. Stick to whats on sale.

ALWAYS BUSY AND ONLY 3 LANES OPEN!!!! Brand new store I was exited until today, so I came in and asked for a whole slice of salmon and they told me they couldnt cut it until the next day, they offered me the small sizes but I wanted the whole slide of salmon which it was worth probably more than the slices. Very disappointed that they cant give the customer what they ask for.

The staff is very friendly. But the parking lot is always insane. Otherwise its a good store.

1. A short handed super market (since it open)2. Most produces are in good prices. I bought 10 pcs Lime for only 50 cents, 2 lbs Tomato for only 94 cents.3. Chick and pork are at reasonable prices.4. All Beef items are expensive. Ox tail $7.17 while others like HEB $5.00 per lb.5. Some seafood items are cheap, 26/30 head on Shrimp for only $2.97. whole Strip Bass only $3.99 its 1 dollar cheaper than a regular price.on most Asian Market.I do not come here very often because theres all long lines to wait to pay.

We like going to el rancho but today we had a bad experience. The night crew of tonight 01/15/2020 around approximately around 9:40am 2 of the crews decided to make fun of a over weight person not knowing that her family member were standing right behind them. When confronting one of them about the situation he wants to catch an attitude. Manager was near by just listening and did not interfere to see what was going on. The staff and the manager have no type of respect nor any customers service.
