ManPasand is a place I prefer for vegitables, cocunut milk and powder, all spices and masala powders, milk, rotis, oils, rice and frozen foods. Cosmtic department gives wide selection. Really good.

Check for expiry date when you buy food items..The snack (cutlet) one time I bought from there was not good at all....shop is clean and nice..

Large store with good variety of Indian spices and snacks.I had high expectations when the store opened, but it has become just like every other Indian store.There is a general lack of cleanliness and an atmosphere that is appealing to a customer.To put it simply its will serve the need of Indians in the US without being memorable.

The selection is all low quality in the store and a lot of the brands that I use are not carried here (Everyday good quality brands ) and the inevntory seemed old. Disappointed.

Large selection of Indian foods. The spices are of a high quality and inexpensive and the produce is fresh. The attached meat market is phenomenal with great prices as well!

Man Pasand has really cleaned up after buying out the old ownership. It’s well lit, well organized and staff very friendly. Products are labeled and priced too. I don’t hate shopping for Indian groceries anymore. Highly recommended!

I spilled some coffee on the floor and an old grandpa asked a guy to clean it up. The guy told the grandpa to do it himself. As someone who works in retail, that is very disrespectful. The store overall is very unclean.

The customer service which I experienced from one of the girl at the cash counter (skinny girl) is the worst. She has an arrogant attitude and very rude way of replying to the customers quires. This will only bring down the name of this super market which was once very customer friendly.

So I bought a 20lb royal basmati rice bag and opened it after a few days and the inside bag was already opened so my wife called and told the manager he said if you have the receipt then we can change it that’s our store policy. I threw the receipt away not thinking something like this will happen But I still went in to the store because I was a regular customer there but the same thing store policy I understand there’s a store policy but sometimes you have to make a consideration for the customer I felt like he was thinking I was lying but I was not. I left the rice bag at the store and told him to keep I don’t want it. I left the bag there without getting it changed or a refund. I went to Bombay bazaar close to my house and bought the same Rice for $2 cheaper. I’m never going back there again and will tell all my friends and family about my experience there. I don’t recommend manpasand they won’t take of you even if you’re a regular customer there...

The place reeks of fish and meat right when entering. Were not against meat and fish, but its a problem if all produce and groceries smell of fish and we are not able to breathe!! With so many Indian grocery stores in the city to choose from, this is one nobody would miss if they dont take care of the smell.

This is a very good Indian grocery store that even has free tea which is fresh brewed daily available for everyone. Employees are nice, genuine and helpful. This store has a fairly large selection of products as well as a fish market. Recommended!

The place has been renovated and has a nice open feel to it. Its also quite clean and well organised. The staff is friendly, helpful and informative.

Great place to get great spices.

We used to go this store when this was Desi Discount Grocers. But now management has changed.At first, we were excited because we thought in one shop, nice vegetables, reasonable items and our weekly meats and fish. But, they are the rudest, meanest people that is there. They wont help you out at all. I asked for the Daily Delight coconuts, she said no. I asked for the Malabar porotta, she said no. I asked break the coconuts, she said no. Vegetables are very, very bad.And now we are very, very sad. :(

This place is awesome. Extremely low prices on halal meat where can you buy halal chicken for $0.69/lb. Free chai everyday, free samosas on weekends and extremely friendly staff. Thank you

NEVER BUY BABY GOAT MEAT FROM THIS PLACE! I have bought goat meat 3 times from this store and he baby goat this guys sells is no way tender and juicy which is what a real baby goat meat will be. This by no means is a baby goat meat and this is completely wrong and unacceptable. Last week also, I got a pack of baby goat meat(took a chance) and got highly disappointed with my decision. I am NEVER buying any meat from this store again and neither should anyone. Stop cheating customers. Goodbye Desi Discount Grocers!

Ive only shopped there about 5 or 6 times but the last time I went, my mother and I went to the fish market part of the store and asked the butcher to give us 2 lbs of fresh salmon. When he cut the salmon, he gave us 3.5 lbs and I told him that was too much. I asked to cut us 2 lbs from the same fish and he wouldnt do that. We told him we didnt want the 3.5 lbs fish and he got mad and cursed us under his breath. The customer service in that department was terrible and I hope the owners will read to help.improve that area.
