ShopRite is usually all around a good place to shop but this location is the best customer service is on point people there are nice friendly helpful its ran very well and they have everything you need at the right price there is a Stop & Shop across the street I commonly joke that the things on sale at Stop & Shop are still more expensive then the regular price items at ShopRite and the ShopRite stuff is usually fresher I tried to find a raft for my son on Amazon the cheapest one I found was $27 the exact same raft I bought at this location for $7. Theyve got everything you need from 50 inch TVs on sale right now for $289 all the way to a fresh cooked cheeseburger with french fries for $5.25 cooked in the cafeteria you cant beat it go to this place literally five to six times a day

I love it at ShopRite of Commerce.They have excellent service & management.I have a walker & when I go there,I can use the wheelchair shopping cart & they go all out to help me, hold my walker for me while I shop.If I need assistance in locating something & ask, they go the extra mile in finding what I need or giving me assistanceThey are well mannered & I feel good when I go there at this location 1990 Maine Street in Stamford.They have so much selection also.JESUS Loves You All!Alisa

Not the most updated ShopRite. But they have a lot they carry. Produce was good. Many cashiers available and they bag your food unlike NY 😲

I grew up in Stamford and stop and shop was always the store to go to ( i remember when it was Finest!) But these days, shoprite is the place to be. whether for the variety, the freshness or the cleanliness, they win hands down. I love going to the store, though my wallet doesnt. thats partly their fault b/c they are for sure not economical with their prices, but partly my fault b/c they have such good stuff I go in for 1 item and come out with 1 cartful. The shopping center has lots of other good stores and gyms. Overall its a hot spot. oh, and the fresh bakery donuts are amazing!

Excellent values. Kind and helpful staff. Newly expanded fish department. They will even steam lobsters for you. Always a busy store due to prices, assortment and staff. Been shopping there for decades. The owner and manager even called me once when I left my good gloves in my cart. They were returned of course.

This is one of those great stores that caterers to locals by having a great grill inside the store Ive never seen such a selection or ease of picking up a bite especially when youre hungry. Get breakfast you can get lunch you can get a few other things I was very surprised I like this a lot.

A great spot for your everyday needs. It also has a good amount of cooked foods. I had a soup and it was okay.

Amazing layout, spotless, the best selection Ive seen most anywhere. Freshness is paramount. Prices are all right. Parking is plentiful. If you havent been here, as yet, you will be impressed. A best example Shoprite, a real credit to the chain.

Horrible experience with this supermarket. I placed my order online. The number was incorrect on the app. I fixed my number before entering the order. The order still went through with the wrong number again.shoprite re delivered my order. Left everything downstairs in the lobby. After I told the lady I spoke with from shoprite that I couldnt lift heavy objects i just had surgery and in alot of pain . I will never order from this supermarket again.

The store is well laid out, sensibly stocked, as well as extensively, with some thoughtful considerations to quite a lot of cultures.Someone has a colorful flair!!The store is clean!!There are sanitizing wipes and the staff wear masks.However no one is washing down the shopping carts you are expected to do that yourself, and some of the cashiers could smile a little more but hey I’m not shopping there for them I’m there for the selection.Overall I’m impressed and I’ll keep coming back.They even have lamb, live lobsters and some really big Clams and quite a big selection of dried fruits and Nuts!!!Go get it!!

Best grocery store in area for standard groceries.

They are only letting a limited number of people in at a time. Had to wait outside for 15 or 20 minutes in long line standing six feet apart. Blue arrows on floor indicating direction of travel. They had tissue and toilet paper in stock decent supply of meats and Dairy.

I have been shopping here for several years. AlthoughThere is good selection and good prices, your grocery cashiers/ check out staff is frequently poor. Prepared foods mixed in bags with various supplies, yesterday the check out person ripped the ONLY bag of an itembecause he dragged it across the metal instead of lifting it, heavy cans are sometimes packed on top of things like yoghurt, etc. Proper supervision would be great and a nice change. And the conveyor belts are frequently filthy, covered in who knows what type of liquids and granules which I would prefer not to import into my home. I am tired of it and am going elsewhere.

I always feel at home when I am in a Grade A ShopRite. My home store is Danbury. I came here for lunch while at work. The store was very busy, I got excellent service from the deli counter and self check out was quick and easy.Another great store run by the Cingari family.

I am a Culinary Arts teacher and a Chef, ShopRite of Commerce is my preferred choice, I am there at least 3 to 4 times a week for the last years. All their meats are far better and better priced. I dont even go across the street to S&S. The staff are friendly and produce are fresh and fantastic.

Great variety of items to choose from. Very well signed which is a great help to new customers. However, cashiers are not very focused. I understand its a fast pace work environment, however it does not take much to smile and greet your customers and then thank them for choosing ShopRite to do their shopping. Remember customers have other options.

This shoprite is bigger than the one near cove and has a better selection of groceries. The staff can sometimes be unfriendly. However you can usually find what youre looking for, and get in and out really fast depending on the time you go.

I love going here, when the time comes. The prices are amazingly affordable. They always have a discount and the employees are always willing to use their discount cards for you, in order to get the discounts you deserve. I highly recommend coming here to do your weekly shopping. Its just amazing. The produce is fresh, the pies are incredibly delicious and the meats/ sandwich meats are fresh.

What a great grocery store, its huge inside. They have a nice area to sit and eat food they make at the store. The prices are very reasonable.

Hands down the only place to shop. This is a store that absolutely carries everything for every ethnic heritage. Prices are good and help is abundant. Ample parking. Fresh produce and everything else. Shopping here makes grocery shopping exciting and something tho which you can look forward. I LOVE this place!

Fresh produce (maybe due to high turnover?). Good selection of high end products and ethnic foods scattered through the store. Good bakery. Excellent specials and good overall prices as youd expect from this chain.

It is in a big shopping mall with plenty of parking space. The shelves are full of various foods and daily stuff. Prices are reasonable for many of them with some on sale and others expensive. The price tag is a myth to me which is too busy to tell the final price. That is a feature of all the shop rites, though. At check out some customers use coupons which I dont know where they get. I was here for a couple of times only but it is crowded so I guess its popular in the local community.

Wonderful place to shop good prices

The store is beautiful, but some items are just put anywhere. Usually not as anywhere related to other items that they should be placed with. Its like an open space is available, so they just put something in it whether it belongs there or not. And the cuts of meat have a lot to be desired.The last couple of times I bought steaks they just werent very good.I guess Ill have to use the butcher shop from now on. And the pork chops are cut so sloppily it isnt even funny.You see one side of the chop fairly thick then it tapers down to paper thin.Who cuts things like that.?

Nice, big and clean grocery store. Always packed, checkout lines are always busy for good reason. Has almost everything you need, wish they can add more variety to the Asian goods.

Really nice folks at the customer service desk. Generous with allowing coupons and gracious when accepting returns.It is a large store with lots of choices including buffet style/ to go selections.Managers and staff can usually help you find something. They sell accessories such as lightbulbs and cookware, school supplies, pillows!, but youd be better off asking to locate exactly where .

Love bread from there. We take several lofts of great Italian bread when we travel back to Panhandle area. We cannot find bread like that anywhere. Even the bread that my sister in law brings from Middletown CT ShopRite to Chipley does not compare to this one. Besides, nice service, good prices, and fresh product does it all. And I forgot to add free turkey for Thanksgiving!!

I came to this store in hopes of buying prepackaged snow crab legs as I wasnt able to get there before 8 (8pm is when the seafood department closes). Unfortunately they didnt have any prepackaged crab legs. Initially I was a bit disappointed, but wasnt upset as I shouldve gotten there before 8. To my surprise an employee from the deli department helped me get a couple pounds of crab legs. God bless him as he didnt have to help me, but Im glad he did. That employee went above and beyond for me.and I was so appreciative for it.

Generally the price leader. Great assortment but always busy. The good news is that they seem to expand the number of cashiers to match the crowds. Store service desk is very helpful. Never a problem with returned items.

One of the better Shop Rites in the area. Its a huge store. Still, the organic produce selection is poor but the regular produce selection is very good and often you can find great sales. There its one aisle devoted to organic packaged goods such as cereal and snacks, and you can find meats and poultry that antibiotic and hormone free.

Best supermarket selection of national brands in the area (think every flavor Oreo available). Excellent special diet selections (gluten-free, dairy-free etc). Best in class customer service (eg bagger on every aisle).I don’t love the produce, but it’s fine and there is a great variety at least. Parking is copious but parking lot is challenging (par for the course for this area).Can’t emphasize enough the superior selection vs other markets.

Ive shopped at this store many time because its near my home in CT. Today may be the last time. The merchandise and prices are decent but the staff is terrible. They act like they hate the store, their jobs and the customers. I suspect they are paid minimum wage, which is more than theyre worth, and they take it out on customers. Their rudeness is remarkable. Theres a Stop and Shop across the street which is much better, though it tends to be more expensive.

There usually long lines in the evenings. I try to buy some vitamins here once. Before I could purchase it, I learned the product expired 6 months ago. The reason why no one removed it was because it was an unpopular item that customers never noticed. So, the employees only focused the vitamins selling around it. Another time, I tried to buy a bottle of Yup. Its a dairy product that was left on top of the coolers near self check out. For some reason, they left a huge number of them on top. I brought one because I assumed it would be safe. When I got home, I opened it and notice the liquid inside was chunky. There was a weird foul smell coming from it. I had to go back to the store to demand a refund. Another time, when I was at self check out, I tried paying for my groceries. The machine took my money but then glitched out and claimed it never took anything from me. I had to get the manager. Then, I had to wait three days to get my money on my card back. Other than all of this, I admit its still a decent store. There are always sells. You can get coupons for literally everything.
