I am a home town guy in Stamford. So, I have been going to Dairy Queen since I was a kid. Tonight, I had a pumpkin milk shake for a change of pace. Although it was a tad to sweet for my taste, it was cold and tasty on a warm day. The line goes relatively quick.I was disgusted by a couple rude people which had aggressive dogs in line which tried to fight.🙄

Dairy Queen on Summer Street is always busy - always has a long line of people waiting to eat ice cream. They should have both windows open serving more people waiting. But as always, enjoyed the treat of delicious ice cream on a hot afternoon. It is a staple in Stamford. Been going there since I was a small kid. My parents loved getting ice cream sundaes from Dairy Queen!!

On a summer day, there is always a huge line on the sidewalk downtown. While it is convenient, the service is bad and the line moves slowly. After you have waited in line, the ice cream is great compared to other ice cream, and there is seating outside.

Blizzards are really good and really expensive. Long line in the warmer weather. I think its closed in the winter. Window service only.

I love this place, I just wish they were open later than 9pm.

Extremely friendly and courtesy young man at the window. He quickly and professionally created my selections. Only outdoor seating but this day had beautiful weather. I highly recommend this spot for to go or outdoor seating of fabulous Dairy Queen treats!

I observed workers here handling cash money and not washing their hands to touch peoples ice cream cones. Even if we were not living in a COVID situation that is disgusting and a health code violation. When I called attention to this, he insisted he had washed his hands. My suspicion is he has no clue of when it is appropriate to wash his hands (before handling food, after using the restroom etc.) and maybe he was more saying I have once washed my hands in this lifetime. I could visibly see his hands were soiled (probably because he had been handling dirty dollars)! I will not be returning.

Super long line but it moved fairly quickly. Theyhad aboutb4 or 5 workers hustling in there.. I messed up my order and they took care of it for me. Would go here again. Good service

They gave us our ice cream and it was awesome! I gobbled mine up and we had a blast! Yhe wait was a little long but it made the ice cream worthwhile!

Ive been to DQ Stamford a lot of time! I love the varieties of ice creams here. I feel like I want to try every flavor. On a sunny day you will never see this place empty, there will always be at least 10 people standing in line. They have an outdoor table, it gives a good feel to sit there & enjoy ice cream!There is a decent number of parking space if youre going by car, I prefer walking when I stay in local. Comparing to DQ in other locations, this is the best & I cant explain why! You will experience it when you visit here! Dont miss!

Great ice cream, but the line of over 11 families as we arrived was very off putting. Especially with many of them not properly socially distancing or there being no enforcement by the business.Edit-Many employees not wearing masks. After waiting over 25 minutes in line we decided to leave. Extremely disappointing. A waste of time and a danger to hundreds of peoples health.

Beat up Old dairy Queen. Only sells ice cream no food. Only one window where you pick up an order at the same time so the lines form pretty big. Only go here if youre jonesing for dairy Queen but its pretty dirty and disgusting

Really good ice cream. They need to fix the line situation though. It often goes out to the parking lot where people are pulling in with their cars. A bit annoying but we made it through to get some fire milk shakes 🥰

Amazing how busy this place is when the service is beyond atrocious. Four workers insude whike one is helping customers. I guess customer service means nothing here. Off to Carvel. At least they care somewhat about their customers.

I miss the ubiquitous Dairy Queen stands from years ago. So, imagine my delight in finding one in Stamford, where I work. The guys get your orders out quickly and always politely, with a thank you. Its like going as a kid.

Dairy Queen on Summer Street in Stamford is a really nice establishment with great 👍 ice cream at even more amazing prices. One of my favorite things is ordering a birthday cake at Dairy Queen with my name on it. We had a really good time and a very happy birthday!🎈Order one day before to get the right date for your birthday 🎂 party or take take your birthday cake with you for a special gift. You can get fantastic ice cream Sundaes large and small for only $4.00 for a small sundae and $4.50 for a large sundae that are exceptionally delicious. The people who work there are really nice and they give excellent customer service. Great location downtown Stamford with parking and close to everything I would definitely recommend this Dairy Queen to everyone I know.

I love the blizzards- so good. However- I took my daughter there right after having her braces put on- as a treat because I knew she’d be miserable. It would have been nice if the gentleman who was there (owner?) could put his phone down for one second. It was glued to his ear the entire time- while taking our order, while making our order, while paying for our order... chatting away. I got the feeling I was interrupting his chat time. Very odd.

Always enjoy coming here even when there is a line. The crew work as fast as they can and the frozen treats are always froze and dont instantly turn to a puddle.

Portions are small here. I would say maybe 1/3 less than what I am use to. The ice cream itself also seems to have changed and is a little more plastic feeling than in the past. Lines can be pretty long though it moves fast. There is parking but it is usually full or close to full but there is also street parking available usually at least a block north on Summer Street.

Nice little place for real quality stuff. For less than $10 you can really enjoy a treat. Such a wonderful place. We never miss a chance to stop at this place. Banana Split is my favourite. The ice creams of real high quality.

My favorite ice cream place! There is no place to seat at the moment because of social distance but you can just pick up your order and enjoy in the car at the parking lot witch the have.

Yesterday I went in with my young son to get an after school treat. I placed the order and while 1 kid made the blizzards, the other kid standing next to him cashed me out. Not uncommon since there was no one else in the line.Once my order was ready, the kid who made my order said the total is 9.80. I told him that I just paid the other kid and he told me it was $5.80. They both looked at me and said that I had not paid... at all. I told them, yes I did, $6.00 in cash and I was handed .20 in change. Please check their cameras. They both start arguing with me and by this time the line is long and everybody is staring.I told them that I am not arguing and the easy solution is to just check the cameras.I look at the kid who cashed me out go back and look at the footage, then he comes back and says oh since you already paid $5.80 you actually owe $4.00 since its $9.80. I said so you did see I paid on the footage? He then said Well we cant actually check it until later tonight. lol . So instead of apologizing he lies.No doubt this establishment will continue to do well financially and losing me as a customer may not matter, but in any company being ethical and having an honest culture should be your first priority. When you dont eventually it will all go downhill in one way or the other.

Confirmed the pineapple chunks were changed after ordering a banana split and experiencing a rancid taste that was only coming from the pineapple chunks. I called this retail location and advised the same. I also advise they (whoever was working there) to taste the pineapple chunks hopping it would incentivize not serving anything with pineapple chunks. Person on the other end of the line stated that they will tell their boss but it doesn’t sound like they were willing to taste test. I hope no one gets ill. As for me, I ate my banana split and spat out the pineapple chunks. Still will come back to indulge but...... hold the pineapples

I treasure my vanilla soft serve in a cup with that beautiful crest on top and smothered in chocolate sauce.

Took the kids here for ice cream. The ice cream is more creamy than normal and made me thirsty. The kids loved it although their cones were so big they couldnt finish them. What a waste.

We can sit outside with our sheepdog and people watch while eating blizzards. Probably the most expensive dairy queen ever, but in a convenient location.

The service was really quick but a cup of ice cream with chocolate syrup is not a hot fudge sundae.

Its Dairy Queen, so you should know roughly what to expect. Recommended for hungry people who love ice cream, hot days and children. Not recommended for people with lactose intolerance or diabetes.

Manager and/or owner very rude. What can I say about ice cream, it was a perfect day for it. The rest of the staff dealt perfectly with the over heated crowd that waited on line on a very hot day.

These guys have been here forever! Been going to them since I was a little kid and theyve never gotten an order wrong. Expect long lines during the warm parts of the year, but its definitely worth it.

Keep in mind that this DQ is not a participating location, and they recently put a sign that says that it wont accept coupons, whether it be on paper or from a mobile app... I didnt like the BR slushy, but you gotta love their Blizzards!

The ice cream that they serve there are really great, the only bad thing i can honestly say about them when it comes to there ice cream, is that theres so much to pick from and all the options are great. it always takes me a while just to pick. Theres parking in back for your cars and a couple of outside chairs and tables

Lets just say Ive had better. Havent had a DQ in years, so decided to stop at this DQ being I was passing by. Ordered a banana shake, that tasted like a basic vanilla shake, didnt want to start anything, I just wont go back.
