Hands down one of the chillest spots in town. Low key, great coffee, relaxed atmosphere, the works.If I went to school here, this would be a nightly hang for sure.

Love this place! I lived in the area for about seven years, and I’d frequent this place often. The decor and ambience are so relaxed. The variety of hookah flavors is incredible, and they also offer drinks and snacks. I always enjoy looking through all the vinyls as well.

Im not a hookah smoker but I go here all the time for their coffee while get some work done. Im not one to rave about the atmosphere of a place but the second you walk in this place you feel like youre in That 70s Show and its a really great feeling. Great place to hang out and great drinks. The only thing is I wish they had more food on their menu.

For all the Hookah Lounges Ive been in, this one is actually one of the better quality. Not to mention, cleaner than usual. Ive gotten a few of the drinks they offer. If youre looking for a place that offers a good place to study while listening to decent music, with a very relaxed atmosphere-- where you can also order a hookah, this is definitely it. A good place to come to unwind after a long day.Im Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store on the Citadel.

Really great hookah lounge with a great pinball selection, new and used records and local coffee! They sell record players and do repair for vinyl heads. They also have a selection of glass pipes to those interested as well.I love the atmosphere and the coffee. They also have great musical acts frequently and there is always good music playing.

Its a fun little place, pinball and records everywhere, not a bad date spot. They also sell food they have waffles and cereal bowls too. Their drinks are well priced and the atmosphere is very clean and comfy.

Crazy place you gotta love. Last time i was here it was just a small hookah lounge. it has since grown.. Now they have vinyl, and video games. Recently stopped in with an old high school friend to get some quick drinks on the go, which resulted in our hour and a half chitchat with emily.

Great place to relax with friends. The Hookah pipe is smaller then generally and does not allow for a full smoke.Its open late hours, and has a good atmosephere.

Pretty chill place to hang out. You can sit with a hookah and a drink (non-alcoholic) and play video games or do work. Never seems to be crowded or loud, and they music they play is really nice. The pinball machines are great too.

My personal favorite chill spot downtown. Doesnt sell alcohol and is kind of small. But the hookahs and environment is worth every cent. Which you wont be losing much of, everything is very nicely priced.

I buy a premium rolling tobacco from Chronic Town. The price is good and they always have it stocked. As for a hookah bar, I think its quite uncomfortable. The wooden seats are uncomfortable and lighting that creates more privacy would be nice.

The staff are very friendly but only 1 employee knows anything about any vape help you may need other than to buy more e-juice. That will not stop some of them from giving out bad info about mod settings or coil info of any kind do your research before going or just go to Illadelph smoke shop, wider selection on all vape items and knowledgeable staff. But Chronic Town does have a wide juice selection and sale process on flavors they no longer order.

Of State Colleges four hookah lounges, Chronic Town is my favorite. From the environment, to the uniqueness, to the pricing, Chronic Town has a special draw.Firstly, if youre looking to get drunk and smoke hookah, Chronic town is not the place for you. Chrome is the only location in State College that sells hookah and alcohol.Chronic Town is a quaint underground store with a well-ventilated, relaxing environment, and affordable prices (their pricing is available on their website). They offer free water, and a variety of drinks. They do not sell food, but youre allowed to bring your own food, so thats a plus. Chronic Town also couples as a head shop, but the selection is rather small and expensive. If youre looking to come home with some glass, I would recommend Jamaican Junction instead. Chronic Town also has a medium-sized variety of vinyl records, and has several pinball machines.If youre not interested in renting out a hookah, you can just buy shisha instead.Youre allowed to vape and smoke cigarettes at Chronic Town, and you dont pay per person- you just pay for the hookah itself. The environment is relaxed- the staff wont kick you out for sitting around, even if you havent bought anything.Unfortunately, the seating isnt very comfortable- as all the benches and seats are wooden, but they have a large pile of pillows available to (somewhat) make up for it. In comparison, Redflame has more comfortable seating, but that doesnt outweigh the environment of Chronic Town.In conclusion: if youre looking for a hookah lounge that sells alcohol: go to Chrome. If youre picky about being extremely comfortable, or want loud and clear music: go to Red Flame. If youre looking for a cool, laid-back environment, check this place out- you wont be disappointed.

Has different seasonal drinks and selection of breakfast cereal which is coolCONS:1. Hookahs are cheap quality2. Staff is very inattentive and you will have to ask them for new coals even when they are sitting doing nothing, at Red Flame hookah lounge the staff is constantly circulating the rooms refreshing the Hookahs3. Staff is very snooty4. Staff plays very bad quality indie music(My ears bleed because I prefer music that is less than 90% effects and synth)5. The bathrooms, somehow, always smell like poop. Which I really cant blame on the establishment as much as the customers. But seriously do yall seriously just hold up your bowels all day so you take huge monster craps in the bathrooms hereEvery time I come, when Red Flame is closed, I always just regret it. But we can add that to the PROS: good hours. Just cheap hookas, cheap staff, annoying hipsters spawning out of the woodwork like a fungus, and just all over im sooooooooooo tumblr alternative feeling. Now if youre into it then this could be your second home, and for some people, the regulars, they probably spend more time here than their actual house, but not for me. Red Flame is authentic Egyptian made hookas and a way better atmosphere. Thats why all the Middle Eastern students go to Red Flame; its the real authentic hookah lounge feeling.
