Went here this afternoon for the first time with my grandparents who were visiting from 1.5 hour away. Food was great!! I highly recommend the pretzels! The plain was so good, I got a cinnamon sugar pretzel to take home. Everyone is super friendly and the food is made fresh! We will definitely be going here again!

The food was amazing and the smoothies where perfect! We got the bacon chicken ranch panini and it was perfect for a light brunch. The atmosphere was also super cute with multiple handheld games to play while you wait for your food. The only reason I say 4 out of 5 is because it is just a little pricey for the amount of food you get, however everything is super fresh so its worth it.

Great food! Loved our beatiful morning breakfast with some fresh taste! Ordered sandwich and coffee, and loved it. Cozy comfortable space to enjoy with family. The outside seating was perfect, as there aren’t much space inside. Heard a lot of compliments from friends as well, next time will try their burger.

Sowers’ is a great spot for a quick bite, a nice place to relax during the day. Their paninis are great and are my go-to.

Stopped for lunch with my daughter as we were passing through and happy we did. Seems to be owned and operated by Mennonites, all of whom were very pleasant. Cafe was very up to date and clean. My daughter got the Caesar salad with chicken, and I got the Greek salad with chicken at a very reasonable 10.50 each. They also did a great job with my almond milk latte. Place is just off the main drag through State College. Try not to hit the college kids who were everywhere. I would definitelygo out of my way to visit again.

Loved it. Food, drinks and service were great. Expected line given how good this place is. But more importantly, the flavor, quality and care was not compromised despite the line. Definitely our family’s go to breakfast place going forward when visiting Penn State. Next on our list is to visit for lunch to try more of the menu.

My salad was scrumptious and the staff was so friendly! Poppyseed dressing is my favorite and it blended the different flavors together so well. I would definitely eat here again. My blended mocha coffee came with a reusable metal straw. I would definitely eat here again.

Vegetarian options easily made vegan. Gluten free and vegetarian options are noted on the menu board. Good, fresh food and excellent service.

So good! We had breakfast, made with lots of fresh veggies!! Very food coffee and baked goods. A nice treat that is apparently very popular on Saturday mornings, as it was quite busy, but very organized and quick nonetheless.

Staff is so welcoming and nice. Food is delicious and very fulfilling. They have board games and a bunch of seating options. Absolutely recommend this place. I unfortunately was not able to take photos of the place or food but I will definitely update this post next time I head up there.

I ate here every day I was in State College. Fresh, healthy, and delicious food. Good coffee with several brews to choose from. Great breakfast menu. The breads are handmade. Try the pretzels! Staff are helpful and flexible with changes you ask for.

I’ve been to many restaurants in State College and Sowers Harvest is my favorite, hands down. The staff is very friendly, food is consistently high quality and made using locally-sourced ingredients, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They were fantastic before COVID and have done a great job adapting during COVID. Portions are huge, so go hungry! And don’t miss out on their baked goods and pretzels... they’re some of the best I’ve ever had.

I love Sowers cafe and so much so that I am going to miss their Veggie grillattias when I move. They are just the most delicious! As a vegetarian, its so hard to find flavorful options here in the area but they are just the best. Its my go to order. They have plenty of vegan options too! A must visit breakfast place if you are in the area. The parking takes quarters only so be sure to keep some of that with you.

My veggie pesto omelette was outstanding. Service is wonderful too. I am giving Sowers just one star because they tolerate the outrageous parking enforcement policy at their otherwise great cafe.Sowers is in Ambassador Square. Its property owners contract with Walk’s Towing to enforce their private parking meters. Those meters take quarters only—I deposited the two I had. My meter expired at 10:15. The $20 violation I found when I returned to my car at 10:18 was marked 10:16. The fine businesses of Ambassador Sq should not put up with parking being a profit center for the property owner at the expense of their customers.Incidentally, State College is currently not charging for parking. If you visit Sowers, park in any municipal space for free and walk to Ambassador Sq.

This is the first Ive been to Sowers Harvest Cafe and I will certainly return! My first impression of the cafe was quaint and rustic - a very welcoming atmosphere. The menu was straight forward and easy to read. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the apple cheddar and turkey panini - my gosh was it delicious!!! The bread tasted to fresh (most likely homemade), the cheddar was perfectly melted, turkey was sliced just thin enough, and the apples were the star of the panini. The apples by themselves would be delicious served hot with vanilla ice cream.

We were blessed to be at Sowers Harvest Café! Great staff, atmosphere, and food! Thank you!

Phenomenal experience! This was one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had .... The Jalleluia Burger....Very good side salad as well. Enjoyed snacking on a fresh, warm and soft pretzel 🥨 on my way back to the office! I’ll definitely be back! Very wide variety on the menu 👌🏽👍

I didnt know what to eat today so I asked what she recommended. She recommended the Buffalo Chicken Grillatilla. Really good recommendations, it was very tasty. The place is not too big, but big enough. Parking could be difficult. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back. Good job...

Best brunch and coffee spot in town! The staff are extremely friendly and enthusiastic. I tried the seasonal special cheesesteak omelette and brown sugar latte. Both are made to order with really fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!

Friendly welcoming staff. Great food. Relaxing atmosphere. Chipotle South Western Panini is the best. Nutella muffin is also great! Metered parking area though. They monitor it constantly, make sure to put enough money.

I always enjoy sowers coffee products but I tried the food and it was not good. Of course, this is because I do not eat pork but I am sure that the cooked my turkey in pork grease. It made me very sick.Now I know to just buy the drinks.

Ordered here for the first time today, and I have to say, I wasnt very impressed. I had the Spicy Mango Siracha press. The flavor was good, but it had so much cheese that I considered it to be more of a quesadilla. The excessive cheese kind of ruined it for me. The flatbread/wrap was also extremely soggy by the time I got to sit down and eat it (it was a pickup order, so were talking about 20 mins). I ordered a yogurt with fruit as well, which I expected to be much larger for the price.The location is hard to find if youre not familiar with the area. The main entrance is on the back side of the building, where you can only drive in from one direction and there is barely any room to pull into/out of a parking spot. They did have a handful of small outdoor tables, if thats your thing.

Very cozy little café that is well worth the struggle of finding parking. Brian recommended the Chipotle Chicken Bacon Ranch Grillatilla and it was one of the best things ever. Be warned the portions are large but every bite is delicious. Prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly. Theres also a piano in the one corner that people are welcome to play on.

Absolutely the kindest place of all the restaurants I’ve visited! Their customer service is a solid 6/5 (yes, they break the scale). Food is fresh and flavor is just right. The only downside is that because of high demands, sometimes it takes 30 minutes to get your order. But otherwise, highly recommend a visit to this place if you wanna try varied American meals.

Daughter made us aware of this hidden gem as it opened her senior year at PSU. We have enjoyed visiting on football weekends since then. Never disappoints. Soft pretzels are excellent.

I came to this area for college visits with my family and stopped by for a quick lunch because it had high ratings.I ate the chicken and Caesar grillatillas and it was the best form of sandwich I’ve ever had I was so shocked and amazed Of how fresh and immaculate the flavor was. I took a bite out of the different paninis my family ordered and the taste was equally amazing if not better.The staff was so kind and sweet and I was about to order another chocolate banana muffin if I wasn’t so full.Please come here if you haven’t because the food and drinks will not disappoint. I might even consider to apply to colleges here just so I can come here regularly

After spending 4 years at Penn State, and trying almost every food place numerous times, I can confidently say this is the best place to eat in State College. To start, their service is unmatched by anywhere else - they are all so friendly, helpful, and really brighten your day. The atmosphere is great, also, with multiple places to get work done. But as those things are amazing, the food is still the best part. My go-to is the chipotle bacon omelette, but many of my friends get the chipotle bacon breakfast sandwich. Both are amazing. Every time I go in there, I always leave with a Pretzel as they are just too good to resist. One day I brought my brothers for their first time, and Sowers’ smoothie’s were so good we ended up trying half of them on the menu. The French Toast is very good and seems to be a crowd favorite. With my food each time, I have gotten a coffee, latte, or other coffee product and I am always extremely pleased with it. Every place I go I try to stop by each coffee shop, which I have tried almost every coffee shop in state college also, and Sowers is right up there with the best of them. Although these are my recommendations and experiences, at a place like Sowers Harvest, you can’t go wrong with whatever you end up getting
