First time submitting an auto claim, the rep was exceptionally helpful and patient explaining the process, how.he was determining the quote etc. The work they did on my car was great, and I think it looks better after the repairs than when I bought it! Fair, honest, and super helpful. I highly recommend these guys if you need work done on your car.

Poor experience attempting to quote a repair on a 2017 Toyota Corolla. Business wanted to charge $100 to prepare a written estimate when my friend received an estimate from the shop for free going through insurance. Its not right to charge those that dont go through insurance an egregious amount of money when the prevailing wage for an hours labor performing repairs is a fraction of that cost. I hope others see this review and desire to do business with an ethical company.

I was early for the appointment. Completed the paperwork and was then waited on within 10 minutes. Everything that was necessary for the estimate on damages to my vehicle was done promptly, in a timely manner. The personnel were knowledgeable in their field and explained to me what I needed to know for insurance purposes. They were all very friendly and helpful. I recommend their services highly!

I recently had my Mercedes C Class repair at G & W, the finish product could not have been better. Calling around for a time frame on when repairs can be done and was completely turned off by front desk receptionist. She is a complete barrier to progress. Said they would charge me $75 for an estimate! She one of those people who says, no before hearing the whole question. They could see me the soonest of all of the places I called, but I wont bring it there because of the customer service I received.

GW was recommended by the Cadillac Dealership, and I can see why. They got my car done in 11 days when they estimated 12, and they called to inform me on how the car was coming along. I want to say that Tony and Lisa were very pleasant to work with, and whoever did the repair on my car did a fantastic job. If I could give more stars I would.

My car was backed onto in a parking lot and I took it here to get fixed. They had excellent customer service, told me it wasnt safe to drive my car and started the rental process immediately. I had a lot of damage to the passenger side so it took a while to get fixed, but they kept me updated and handled all the insurance needs. They did an excellent job fixing the car, even vacuumed it out which was an added bonus!

Fantastic repair, the car looks perfect. I hit a deer on the interstate in my brand new (7 day old) Audi SQ5 and did a massive amount of damage to the front and both side doors. GW took care of it much faster than anticipated and the car looks perfect. They even took the time to vacuum out the interior before they turned it back over to me.

Front desk was the worst customer service experience I’ve encountered. This being the first impression for a possible client should be unacceptable for a company. The mechanic and/or estimator was fine.

Had my car almost 3 months when originally said 3 to 4 weeks. That would be fine if I got a working car back and a clean car like they were given.When I finally got the car it looked amazing on the outside. Absolutely fantastic. So imagine my surprise when I go down the street and see my blind spot detectors not working. Not only did they not work but the dashboard showed the entire blindspot system was malfunctioning.I immediately took it back and on the way noticed oil/grease fingerprints all around my cars ceiling, like someone had fixed it with dirty hands. I also noticed white powder was on everything inside the car and I mean everything. The best part? They had the floor mats car washes use that say your car has been cleaned. Ha! It wasnt close to being clean. Outside maybe but not inside.I told Tony and showed him what was wrong. He assured me theyd fix it. A week and a half later I get a call saying the dealership (these guys couldnt repair the sensors) couldnt find the issue and that Id have to take the car to my local dealership (Im not living in pa).So in I go to get my car expecting it to at least be clean. Nope, not clean. It still had the powder everywhere.I took a simple wet rag and wiped the powder off most of the things (it came right off so I know they didnt even try) and took it to my local dealership. In just hours the local dealership identified the issue as someone hooked up the sensors backwards and fried the system. Once they installed a new controller and a new sensor everything was normal again. Funny. My local dealership repaired it no issue but the state college one couldnt figure anything out in 10 days.Oh and I went through 3 weeks of hell trying to get my local dealership to work with my insurance. Something I never would have had to do if these guys fixed it right the first time.In all I will never recommend g w nor will I ever return. I didnt even bother having them clean the stains. I just spent an hour and did it myself.

The work was done properly and in a timely manner-that I appreciated. The agent I worked with (Tony) was kind and always answered my questions with patience and helped me to understand the work needing to done. However, the customer service from their front desk/office manager needs to be addressed. I was spoken to in a condescending manner both in person and over the phone, and when I was told my car was ready for pick up, I was unable to do so that day due to my work schedule and stated I would be in the following morning. The staff member in question said to me well remember you have a rental. My thought was yup, I am well aware of that. Since my option for repair work was this shop or one in Altoona, I will likely use them again if needed, but because of how I was treated on multiple occasions and in multie communication venues, Idont feel I can give a higher rating.

Got hit in the back of my bumper in my Toyota tacoma with backup sensor and blind spot monitor. So i take it in to get the bumper replaced and they had to repaint the cap i had on my truck bed. First they have it for a whole week and when i get it back the blind spot monitor says its not available. So i take it back to them and they say oh sorry didnt see that. Turns out only the Toyota dealership can fix it. So had to take it to the Toyota dealership to get it fixed. Then the first day it rains i go into the bed of my truck and water is everywhere. They messed up the liner on the truck bed cap windows. So then had to take it back and go without a car for 2 more days. To cap it all off all the screws look stripped out and are put in crooked. These guys are idiots. Also good luck if you have to deal with Lisa the receptionist. She is extremely rude and condescending.

Worst body repair shop i have ever dealt with. Employees act appalled when you point out problems they didnt address. Quality control is horrible and they dont stand behind their work. Had to get insurance company involved. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of these people.

Came here to get a spoiler lip painted. I went in on a monday afternoon for a price quote and was told all the estimators are out of the office for an entire week for hunting season. Not even one estimator? Come on.Finally I came back a week later for the price quote. The estimator was very nice and gave me a reasonable price. The lip was painted in less than 24 hours.I received a call that it was ready to be picked up. I came in an hour later to pick it up but the lady at the front desk told me she didnt know where the lip was and everyone had left for lunch.I asked her if she could make a quick call so I didnt have to come back - NO!At that point I was really disappointed.The paint job was done well but the service is subpar.I wasted 2 round trips to end up with nothing.

Very poorly run shop...They did work on my car without running it by the insurance company or myself first. I picked up the car, but the repair wasnt done correctly. Then we found out later that there was additional damage that was never addressed. Tried to deal with the issue - one manager there was very rude and acted like he was doing me a favor! Would not have repaired it at all if they had only communicated before doing any work. Very unprofessional

Someone hit my car from behind, so I took it to GW to have the collision damage fixed. The repairs they did complete were done well, but they completely missed doing two things that were clearly specified on the work order. I had to go back a different day and then return to pick up the car yet again.After having wasted 10 weekday hours dealing with this accident, and having to pursue a lawsuit against the other driver, the last thing I needed was to have my boss wondering why I needed yet another hour off work.This level of service is unacceptable. Anyone making even a cursory examination of the car would have noticed that the job was not finished. I will rate them two stars, though, because they offered to drive me back and forth to work while they corrected the problem. Ive never had these problems with other repair shops and they should look over their work before signing off on it.

Had a great experience. Was having my windshield replaced across the street at safelite, I ended up having damage underneath. They repaired it and worked me into their schedule since I had to get it back soon since I was going home after finals. They were in touch with safelite for me. Notified me when necessary and understood I was a poor college student. Really felt comfortable with them because Im very protective of my car. They took my car back to safelite to get my windshield back on and it was ready sooner then I was told!! A wee bit pricey but what can you do. They did work with me which I was thankful for. Thank you!

I took my car in for minor paint touch up on one bumper. My repair was estimated to be completed in 3 days. At the end of 3 days, I had to call and wait on hold for 10 minutes to find out that it wasnt complete and might be done tomorrow. The next day, I called again after not hearing from them, to be told it still wasnt done but again might be done tomorrow. Finally, on the 5th day, my car was finally done. Every phone contact I had with them, I was treated like I was frustrating them by calling in to check when my car would be done, even though it was past the estimate.The resulting paint job was ok, with a small blemish in the new paint. The bigger issue, however, was that there were new scratches on the back of the car that werent there before I took it in. I plan to pursue this, but am so far unsatisfied with both the customer service and outcome.

I was sent to GW by the local GMC dealer as a result of a rattle the dealer thought was caused by a minor parking lot collision. Dave, one of the owners of GW, and his mechanic searched for the rattle and found out it was a drive shaft problem that would be covered by my warranty. After spending time troubleshooting my problem Dave called the GMC dealer to clear the way for me to return there to resolve the problem. Great service and they didnt change me a cent.

I went to G & W because I backed in to a car that was parked on my street. I did not have hardly any damage. In the meantime, before they fixed it, they left it parked outside and it got baseball size hail on it. If I would have known that they were not putting it inside, I would have gone and got it. Well, they had to put every new panel on this suv and even a new windshield, etc. They should have totaled it. Anyway, I kept hearing a knocking sound in the front, and after a couple of months I took it to a mechanic and they said that the K frame did not have any bushings in it on the right had side. They said that when they put the new bumper on the front, they diid not put in the right k frame busings. So now it is going to cost me $2000.00 to get it fixed. They also did not screw in one of the struts. I would never ever take a car here again. The only thing the owner said was that they had BMWs and Mercedes that got hail damage on them also. I did not care about the BMWS OR Mercedes, I just cared about my car. They will never get my business ever again

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED. My car was returned to me after being repaired with additional damage on it that wasnt there when I left it with them. They kept it ALL week long, and didnt fix all of the original damage from the accident Id had, and then when I picked it up and looked it over there was ADDITIONAL damage done to it which, after speaking to the insurance adjuster, was verified through photos he had taken of the car prior to repairs. Additionally, the secretary who sits at the front desk, LISA ADAMS, was very rude and disrespectful when I called to get some basic information while my car was still with them. She had a nasty attitude, raised her voice to borderline yelling at me, and continued to argue with me as I tried to end the phone call. PLEASE do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to get your car repaired. This place is a joke.
