Great place if you missed an item when you went grocery shopping other than that they have the rudest manager. As we were going to pay the manager was the cashier and walked away after she checked a white man out, didn’t even tell us she was leaving the register as she walked to two different registers we took out stuff out the belt and went to the next lane as she walked back not even a sincere apology.

Great place to shop! Was a little irritating that the cashier and the bagger were too involved in their conversation to acknowledge me tho.

Food World on hwy 80 west in Statesboro is a good place to shop. This is not a very large store as compared to most new grocery stores today, but the prices seem to be competitive overall. The store is old, but they have some of most of the things you need. I usually go there when I am not making a major grocery shopping trip. There is an adequate selection of fresh produce. The meat selection is just average, but there is a good selection, and I am usually able to find a good choice for whatever I am needing. This is about the same for canned goods, frozen foods, cleaning supplies, and paper goods. Everything is about average. The strong point for the store is the staff. I am always greeted on more than one aisle, and asked if I need help finding anything. I appreciate that. The checkout line is usually shorter than the big stores, and there is always parking close up to the store. Oh yea, and they have great fried chicken.

Very nice! Carts are sanitized after each use, aisles clearly marked for one way traffic flow, store was not crowded due to special hours for seniors, and staff members were very friendly. I found everything on my list.

The one by GSU smells better.

Food store and employees....the meats were a little more exslensive than other grocery stores that I have been to...other than that its a good store

I like it because its not crowded like Walmart. Meat selection could use some improvement but definitely the best place to grocery shop in Statesboro.

They need to pay more attention to the meat that is turning rancid on the shelf. Other than that they have a great selection

Found what I needed and some bargains

It was kinda terrible, there was a young girl and it was obvious she was new and young she needed help and the manager just walked around when she was not sure what to do, I thought she was going to start crying but she just keep trying, Finally after me standing in line for almost a half hour he came over and helped her bag my groceries, I thank her and wanted to voice my opinion of him but did not, It looked to me poor manger skills and lake of proper training, my rating is for the young girl who is just trying to have job, the manger gets 5 - stars

Finally... a store that doesnt require people to wear masks. Because this the Home of the Free, and people are smart enough to make that decision on their own.

The one on 80 I love I like the crab bites on the pic 5 for 25. And this store usually has the the other one dont on rare occasion they might. Plus at the other one out of the same freezer I got breaded mushrooms and they was no good. Meats are good both of them are kinda pricy but u can usually find alternatives.

I always enjoy going to the store on the west side of town. Its clean and well organized. Great service from the employees.

Prices were hit and miss like most grocery stores. Excellent meats. Checkout staff extremely helpful and charming.

I have children that have special dietary needs. They have very little to choose from in whole grain pastas and the only mayo that is carried is regular mayo. They really need to broaden their choices.

I love that they always have specials and deals on things here!

Food World had a great produce section. I was able to find just what I needed at a low price.

I find great deals at this location. I like that I dont need a rewards card to get all the good deals.

Worthwhile to review their weekly sale flyers as they can have some great deals on meats & produce!!! They really seem to want to help people help get more within their grocery budget & eat healthy too!! Staff is pretty friendly & helpful as well!!

Food world has everything you need and a extra Lil something if you want ready to eat fried chicken, salads, and other items at the deli. Prices are reasonable but watch for sales they will usually beat wally world and others when they have good sales goin

CLEAN AND COURTEOUS STAFF HOWEVER ON THE HIGHER PRICE SIDE AND THEYVE DONE AWAY WITH THEIR ORGANIC NUT, SEED AND GRAIN SECTION.THAT ILL MISS

Prices on some items fair, but can use a good cleaning and do better with the freshness of their meat.

I have lived in Statesboro for three years and only use this store strictly for convenience, but still come walking out saying to myself, why did I just go there? Recently had to pick up some produce. It was old and wilted. The prices are always higher...it is always something. I wish I would have posted a review long ago.

Prices are ok. Hate the frosting on the cakes in the deli. It just doesnt taste good at all. Last time i visited i had to bag my grocery items because the bagger was walking around acting like he didnt want to be there. His attitude was so bad. He clearly either hated his job, or doesnt care. Besides these issues its a ok place to get what you need on your way home.
