Great service! I cant say enough good things about this business and their staff. We had serious car trouble while traveling and this place went above and beyond to take care of not only our vehicle but us as well. They turned a terrible situation into a good one. While waiting for our car to be finished we heard from other people in town that this place has a reputation for being very skilled and very honest. We found that to be very true.

If I could get any less, I would! This company takes advantage of people. My 16 year old son came in there with a coupon for a $21.00 oil change and left with a $77 bill. He is a child. No his little Chevy sonic does not call for fill synthetic oil but that is what they “up sold” him. I can only imagine what they would have sold him if he was female!
My husband and I were traveling from Charlotte, NC to Virginia. We had a mishap with a tire. I called NTB in Statesville, NC, spoke with Lisa. She was super nice. We explained our delima to her and without hesitation, they were happy to help us. We were greeted with pleasant hospitality when we arrived. We ended up buying 4 tires for a much better price than we had found at any other tire dealer. These folks are super nice and prices are very reasonable! Thank you Lisa and Jake!
Do not go to this place. Ever. They were supposed to replace a hubcap that they broke. The manager yelled out the door to the associate getting the car information and told her to remove the scheduled tire rotation because he didnt want to be blamed for another hubcap. I was treated like a thief and I will not go back.
Very prompt they were nice dropped our vehicle off early and we were called earlier to tell us it was ready
This is one of the best auto services around. The staff are always helpful. They do their best to get you what you need or refer you to someone else who can if they are booked solid.I have had very few problems here and when I did, they went above and beyond to make it right. Just keep that in mind if you have to wait a bit longer. They are servicing your vehicle to the best of their ability. Some things are worth waiting for.Thank you for the working AC! Its nice to be cold in the summer.

Great customer service and sumwhat helpful. 700$ for them to remove an install 2 motor mounts which were 153$. I did it myself in 2 hours. so 153$ for both motor mounts an for them to remove an install was 700$. So 700$-153=547$. So u gonna charge 547$ for labor. Plus it would only take an hour maybe 1.5 hours with proper tools. Yet guy down the street 40 years experience= 65$ an hour bringing the total to 283$. We need honest companies in Statesville not rip off companies, especially in these times.
The service manager here is wonderful. She explains things very well. Very much appreciated when you don’t know much about cars. Nice to feel confident in my vehicle repairs and knowing what is going on.

Took 2 hours for my oil change.he said all my levels were good.i said transmission fluid is good?he replied..yes. I asked him how he did it being that there is no dipstick. Then he changed his story to we cant do that here. I will never take a vehicle here again being that they dont really check what they say they do.
I have had a very positive working relation with Crew at this NTB, they are all ways ready to get their customers back on the road safely.This is first class service here or you could say this is were the rubber meets the road for Service
What a JOKE!!!!! Conveniently make an appointment online for a Sunday service call to verify that everything is good and Im informed they only have 2 techs and are completely booked. They offer nothing to remedy the situation except maybe another day will work. I hung up. Why would you take an appointment and inform your customer that they cant get helped that day. All I wanted was tires.... Isnt that the main thing you do? Wow!
This is the third time I tried to have work done or buy a set of tires only to be told cant do it we are booked out for 2weeks this time for a Inspection. 1 customer and a empty shop and you are to busy? And as always walk in and wait nobody to greet you just stand there and wait for someone to finally appear and tell you Nope to busy no inspections for 2 weeks only have one guy doing them but there is only myself and 1 other customer in the place after 3 times Im done with NTB will never go there again and will most certainly tell everyone I know to stay clear of this place....
Took forever to get service. Employees were in the service area talking pretty loud about things not to be talked about in pubic. When I was greeted, the guy didnt seem to want to help me find a tire for my 07 Mazda speed 3. I left with a quote quite hirer than any other place I checked that day. Not going back and I see why they dont normally have a lot of business. The other day I drove by and there was no one in the parking lot and they seemed to be closed 30 minutes before it had said on their site.

I had a blow out on my wifes car. Was able to get the rim to the store and Mike Nishimoto and his team were able to get us back on the road. I highly recommend them for your tire and service needs.

Arrived at 8:55 just to get a tire low on air checked and maybe get plugged or fixed. There was absolutely no cars in any bay. Was told I had to wait at least an hour because she had two appointments at 9. Its a five minutes fix. Never going back. (This is and edit) Left there and went to Mr Tire. Had it fixed in 8 minutes (I timed them).
I cant rave about this place enough! They will periodically run longer waits, but do not complain! Youre getting quality work!! Theyve earned the right to run longer wait times.

A little pricey compared to others but very nice and polite staff in the front office. Unfortunately cannot say the same about the mechanic that I spoke to in the garage about my car. Will not go into alot of details but he wanted to charge me over two hundres dollars in labor for a twenty seven dollar part that took ME about a half hour to forty minutes to install and complete...
I had a set of tires put on my wifes car a good while back. The car recently started making front end noise. I couldnt quite determine what it was, so today, I figured that I would take a look. I went to loosen the lug nuts, and they were so loose that I could literally unscrew them by hand! After inspecting underneath, I could find nothing wrong. I put the tires back on and TIGHTENED them, and lo and behold, the knocking noise was gone. I cannot believe the negligence. This is very dangerous. My wife travels over an hour to work every day! Also, my wife told me that they lost the wheel stem cover on the passenger rear wheel. I let it go. But today I noticed that the wheel cover itself was also missing. I am absolutely positive that this is the fault of NTB. The missing wheel-stem on the same wheel, and all of the lug nuts loose on the front end leads me to believe that the wheel cover was missed as well... (same tire).Worst service I have ever received from this place. Not very happy. I am a regular customer, and am amazed at the shotty service. I was just getting ready to send my other car down for new tires... but I am not so sure now.I am still in dis-belief that this could happen.
The shop was clear the staff very polite. They just need to keep the free coffee sugar and creamer stocked better. I would still recommend them to others. We didnt ask about the sugar or they would have filled it for us.
Scott and Mike are always very helpful and informative. They’ve never pushed me or tried to up-sell me on unnecessary stuff, I feel totally comfortable sending my wife and daughter without fear of getting ripped off, they’ve always treated them courteously and professionally. I only recently learned they are a full automotive repair shop and not just tires and oil, so now I’m getting repairs and service in same location for both my company vehicles and personal. Thanks guys for being a true automotive business.
I arrived on the back of a AAA auto transporter having broken down on the interstate. We identified 2 broken wheel lugs and three loose ones. After looking up my service history, Service Managers Scott and Mike took over. When a bearing could not be located and available until the next day, they put me up in a motel.Next day arrived and the part due at 10:00 am was delayed to 1:00 pm for which Scott took personal responsibility. Part arrived and putting the vehicle back together proceeded expeditiously. I was back on the road for home.Scott, Mike and the technician (whose name I lost) went the extra mile to ensure a bad situation did not get worse. If they would do this for me, an unknown traveler, just think what they must do for their regular customers. My hats off to you and thank you very much

Good luck getting your services here. We told them three time what all we needed done and arrived to find out they didnt do the state inspection and because were busy they couldnt do it that day no . Even though it was in them that the inspection wasnt done in the first place. And whats worse is when we came to pick the car up the parking lot and most of the bays are empty.
It was just ok, out of conventional oil?!?!?!? Had to get a blend, spent more $ then I wanted. They were not overly busy, make sure to schedule an appt.
They could have more sales on the tires and other parts & products there.
We were about halfway to our destinations on Sunday when our low tire warning came on. After checking and filling all the tires we were back on the road. 10 minutes later the warning light is on again. From a quick Google search we found this location was close and open - eureka! Even better - manager Brian Sanders diagnosed the problem and had us on our way in no time. This location is awesome, fair, fast and honest!
Call ahead to make sure the service you need can be provided. They have always gotten me in and out, fairly quick. They will not take your parts though.
I had a 9:30 appointment today and went home n the guy at the counter told me that since there were walk ins that it would put them 1 to an hour and a half behind. I then I asked don’t you all honor appointments he replied that they did! Well it is 11:15 and called and they still are not done! What do I need to make an appointment for? HORRIBLE service Horrible customer service and flat out right lied to my face! NTB usually impressed and went above and beyond! Will not go back to that location!
These guys are terrific! My girlfriend and I were stranded overnight in Statesville due to alternator trouble, Scott and his wife took care of us and made us feel right at home. Our car was repaired first thing in the morning as promised and suggestions for dog friendly hotels assured us a stress free breakdown. Scotts wife even gave us a ride to our hotel! Good people and great service, next time Im traveling I will certainly stop in for a tune up!
I have been taking company vehicles to this store for 4.5 years. I have always been taken care of. I also have been taken my personal car their as well. If I have something come up such as flat tire etc...... I am always taken care of.You can’t ask for a better store manager then Michael Nishimoto. I came in to get an inspection done on my car, they literally told me that they weren’t going to let my car leave cause one of my tires had a bald spot in the center.I also had an appointment scheduled for 11 o’clock and didn’t leave till 2 pm.I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Went to get alignment and wheels balanced. Normally they do good work but this time they messed up one of my lugs and tried to make it look like it was screwed up before they touched it. Took my truck back to Flow Toyota because I had some work done there a couple of days before. As I thought, they hadnt even touched that particular wheel when they worked on it!Come on guys, own up to your mistakes!
This used to be my go to place for servive work including state inspections. I also was able to scedule an oppointment for work including scheduling an appointment for state inspections. The new management will not scedule an appointment. So I need somewhere else for my maintenance work also. Good luck NTB.

I came in at 3:00 o’clock and the close at 4. I was told that the didn’t have time to do a oil change when they had 3 guys working with 1 car in the service bay. They also turned away 2 more customers that need a tire mounted on a rim and the 3rd gentlemen just turned and walked out the door. I will never return to this location again. I know this comment is going to do anything but hopefully it will give a hoods up for future customers.

A pothole on I-77 Southbound ruined my morning, but the gentlemen at National Tire and Battery saved my day! They opened at 7 AM, and before 8 I was back on the road. I appreciated their willingness to get me on the road fast!

I bought 2 new rotors for the front of my 2001 Ford f150 at $100.00 each. And got lifetime pads. I called to inquire about how much it would cost. And either Mike or Steve said the factory doesnt sale rotors that can be turned they would have to microscope them and see if they could be turned. And it would be $129.95 plus taxes. Will never go back here again. Dont waste your time. And he was rude about it as well.
They are very expensive. But my major peeve would be the managers attitude...while i sat there he embarrassed two employees in front of a room full of customers. I asked for a discount, he said there is none...two minutes later an elderly man walked in and he got one 10 % off...maybe they have discounts for senior citizens. No smile, no thank you. The young guy who drove my car to the front door was very humble...handed me the keys and wished me a good day....i could sense a lot of tension between employees and admin there.
I made an appt to have an oil change. Showed up and of course they tell me all they have is synthetic oil, what a way to make more money. Huntersville NTB would NEVER do anything like that to a customer!! I call BS on not having regular oil

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation, the guy working on my truck showed me a lock nut was broken, he was able to get it free but wanted to show me, didnt try to sell me anything. When everything was complete the sales guy mentioned the real axle was leaking, noting major, didnt try to sell anything. These guys were very professional, they definitely earned my future business.

People were very kind to me and were very helpful. BUT I am very unhappy with how things went. It was very important that I had my car ready by today, I needed to be able to leave and go up North TODAY. I have a very important family event Ive been planning to go to for over a year and family that are there that I will not get to see again after this. The reason this is important is because I was assured that as soon as my parts showed today at noon they theyd get my car finished up today and that it should be but a couple hours before they called me. Well 6 hours later I get a call telling me the part they received was defective and now they wont have a new one til tomorrow because theyre getting it from the warehouse. At this point Im very upset trying not to be mean but asked why no one could tell me this sooner so that maybe I could have just went and picked up one I found in stock at an advance or AutoZone and the response I got was that all their mechanics/techs had left for the day. An hour before they closed. I feel like they conned me and lied to me. I even had gotten the credit card care system yesterday from them in my husbands name so we make the payments and possibly get more work done considering we need tires soon. But now idk. Didnt seem to even care to try to get it over with and now all of my planning and all the money I spent to get it all done and try to see my loved ones one last time just got ruined. My whole weekend is even ruined now. And I went out of my way to be punctual and do what they asked to try and hurry it along. Told them it was imparative I left by tonight. Theres members of my family I now will never get to see again and etc. Very disappointed and hurt that my emergency didnt matter. Plus my mother is sick and I was supposed to be there today to help out in general as well as prepare for our family event. After this I dont know if theyll continue to get my business. Not unless they find some way to make this up to me. Because Im beyond upset. Had no warning, have had people waiting on me to leave all day and still after having my car 7 hours they manage to ***k up my entire 4th of July weekend. Never thought thered be a day where I cried so hard over cancelled plans... Ive already lost 3 of my family in one year and now it looks Ill be losing a couple more and I wont even get to day goodbye now. 😭😭😭

Girlfriend took her car here for an inspection. Told her they refuse to let her leave without buying (from them of course) a whole new set of tires. Absolute highway robbery, and we or any of our friends, will never come back for anything.
We were on a long trip with a towed uhaul trailer. We pulled into the parking lot of NTB and took the farthest parking spots. Before we got 3 feet from our vehicle to ask if they patched tires or if the could help us with the service of a tire, the manager started yelling at us for taking up to many parking spaces. There were at least 15 open spaces closer to the door. My husband continued to approach explaining we needed service and he told us he wouldnt help and to leave. I will never go to them again for any service, anywhere.

Scott realized my need for a speedy repair juggled his schedule to help. I was on my way to coastal Carolina to volunteer on a storm rebuild when my alternator failed. Absolutely the worst! Will never do business with them again. Giving them one star is too much. Prices are outrageous. Go down the road and get your work done at Walmart.

So it was a pretty regular day. Show up mid week. There was system issues. The next day power issues. Power went out. Next day they was pack. Schedule it for saturday at 130. Got there at 120 took it right in. Mrs beyers, Very nice lady, willing to help and do what needed. The staff very friendly while they was working on my car for a oil change. Well all done i was paying the bill i autostart my car thank god. To cool it down inside. Got in and started heading home. On the interstate happen to notice a little bit of smoke. Waiting for the next exit to come the man in charge calls my cell phone because he saw a little bit of oil in the parking lot. Told me to pull over he is on his way to my location. Found out what happen and we got it fix right there. Took the car back and clean the little bit of spill oil. And she was cleaner than what i brought it in. I am extremely impress by the service here and will definitely come back. Never seen anyone willing to come there and fix the problem. Most people would have play it off. I believe his name was scott. But he has my respect for it. That is how you treat a customer and i wont forget about that. Get this man a raised or something.
Great tires but charged for alignment and didnt fix it and said I need shims. If you cant fix it, you shouldnt charge for it. Also, women in front used vulgar language.
Walked in this morning to inquire about getting my oil changed. The guy asked if I had an appointment. When I said no, he abruptly said I dont have anything until Monday. He didnt ask if I would like to make an appointment. He dismissed me as if I were yesterdays trash. Maybe you have to look like youre a millionaire to do business there. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere!
Had a flat this past Saturday night...spent the night in Statesville. Stopped in Sunday morning to get the flat fix or buy a new tire(s). The place was great...gave a fair price didnt over sell (easy to do when you are 12 hours from home) and was out of the shop in less than an hour.Thank youTed
This place is a joke. Im from out of town had a blow out on my trailer so I called these clowns and they say yeah bring it on in and we have a 10 ply tire for your trailer we can put on for you I told them its a 65 foot vehicle will it fit he hesitated but said yeah I get there get it in the lot he walks out shakes his head no I dont have anything to lift it not that heavy hes just being lazy so I then go next door to Lowes buy the stuff to get going and am on my way. Folks this place is a real joke if this was the last place to get tires I would drive on the wheels wouldnt let them fix my wheel barrow tire. Im a small buisness owner and always treat my customers with the up most respect and work hard to please them hope these clowns realize someday that the public is what feeds there familys. Every time I walk into this place I am asked if I have an appointment. No where on the site does it tell consumers that they need an appointment for service. This is a walk in garage! I literally walked in this week, asked for an inspection and when I didn’t have an appointment was told it’d be “several hours” as they had one car in the bay...they have 4+ bays. I go to get an oil change and they tell me I can’t use conventional oil in my car—constantly wanting to upgrade, yet my owners manual states conventional oil is fine! Today I walked out; I drove down the road to Valvoline and was pulled in immediately and out in 10 mins. Seriously, won’t be back at NTB!

The worst experience ever, i was turned away from my appointment for an oil change because it sounded like i had belt issues. Not because my oil was changed and it was witnessed but it sounded like it had belt issues. I was then told that he was not touching my car. Wow wait until the BBB hears of this. The only reason i put one star is because of the cashier, she had good customer service and was respectful and she knew it wasnt right either. Im not upset because ntb is not the only car care center in this area but i just have my own opinion and right is right and wrong is wrong.

Was looking to buy 4 tires, didnt need mount balance..etc just the tires, and on their own website had two prices, one for carry out and another all inclusive (which is the mount, balance etc). I showed the sales associate the website and he refused the price saying he couldnt compete with online prices even though it was his exact store....are you kidding me, what company doesnt honor their own website. This place is a joke.
