Went to have a vehicle checked. They did a quick diagnostic check and found no problems. They were honest and did not try to sell things I dont need. Also got a quick oil change for a good price.

Had a growling noise in the front when driving down the road. I suspect it was wheel bearings going bad being the vehicle had 120,000 miles on it. Took it in to H & I Expert Car Care, they called me the following morning and it was the front bearings. Had a choice between a 1year warranty bearing or a 3 year warranty one. I decided to go with the one year warranty just because I will only keep the vehicle for one more year. The work was completed the same day. Ive been driving it for a week now and no more growling. They did a great job and I would recommend H & I.I have had other things done there too and all with excellent work. No complaints from me.

Each time I’ve been to H&I I’ve been taken care of like a best friend. I don’t know much about vehicles. They don’t treat you like you’re a mark and then try and milk you for your money. They tell you like it is. I appreciate that. Super friendly staff. Great work. Timely.

While nobody likes paying to get their car fixed, H and I have always been upfront, honest and very quick with my services and repairs.There are too my auto shops that either do poor work or look to squeeze you for more money and it’s nice to know they aren’t one of them. Highly recommended.

The mechanics Chris and Eli are extremely rude and unprofessional. They screamed at the top of their lungs over the phone while I called to discuss the repairs and price because they did repairs I did not consent to and initially lied about what the total cost was going to be until the day I went to pick up my vehicle. I honestly discourage anyone from coming here to save yourself from these scam artists. I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully before in my life or have been scammed by any other mechanic before ever.

Have had the best service at this auto shop and it has now become the only place we take our cars. They are fair and quick and they always make sure you are satisfied. I have recommended H&I to several friends and family members and they have all had great experiences here. If you need a mechanic don’t hesitate to work with Chris. Since owns the place he will do everything to make sure you are happy.

This is one of the best auto service centers in metro Detroit....I wouldnt take our cars anywhere else...not even the dealership can top H&I.... service...!!This is an update May 2021 and this is still the best auto repair shop in tri-county, you cant beat the service that youll get a t this shop...Connie and Christina are excellent.. and the guys all do an amazing job......

Be careful before you choose to do work here. My mom called a few days ago for a price check for a cabin filter change (labor only), over the phone they said $10. When she came in today and got it replaced, the owner tried to charge her $40.

They were able to provide diagnosis in half hour and estimate was reasonable, middle of the road. I suspected it was the bearing and he had no issues figuring it out very quickly. Highly recommend. Seem honest and efficient! Any future repairs I will go here first for sure. Thank you!

Found this place to fix my sons college car, misfire in engine. Fixed it at good price with no hassle. Mechanic is knowledgable, I worked on it for 2 days chasing electrical gremlin before I gave up. Im happy and will recommend.

I have referred family and friends and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for basic maintenance to major car issues.

Everything was fine except for the price

I have gone to H&I Auto Care for numerous years with numerous cars. They preform great work at a fair price. They are always honest and they will tell you if the problem is truly safety related or a must fix. I always know my car or van is in good hands with them and I have continuously refered friends and family to their shop. A few years back, they moved to a larger shop. While there are many more auto shops now between my house and their place, I gladly go the extra miles knowing the vehicle will get fixed right.

They are beyond amazing! I went in for a brake check told me my brakes were shot and also found a leak that they repaired! If I would have taken it elsewhere it would have been 1200 dollars! I paid almost half that and they even got the dent out of my bumper and I didnt even ask about it! I love this place

On a Friday 3:30 pm my car stalled in Sterling Heights. AAA took me to H&I. They were able to fix my car in the 2 hours left of the day and I was able to go back home to Toledo (2 hours away). Chris and his staff were great. They saved the day and the weekend for me. I wish I had such honest car service close to my home. Way to go Chris !!!

Brought my mini cooper in because it had an issue of over overheating when it sat idle for 15-20 minutes. was told radiator had a leak, But it never leaked in my driveway, and I never had to put coolant in, except when it over heated and spewed out. Also was told radiator was hanging and about to fall off, said I needed thermostat and radiator core support along with a fan shroud, quote was $12,00.00. Took my car somewhere else and all I really needed was a cooling fan which only cost me $460.00. First shop also told me parts that were ordered for my car could not be canceled.

Worst place to take your car there. Owner committed fraud. Switch & bait beware new customers. They will make you pay for new parts but will switch to used parts. When confronted they will shift the blame on you. Shame on that place. So IF YOU DONT WANNA GET SCAMMED DONT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE.

This is the worst automotive shop I have ever visited. First they lie to their customers and keep their cars for so long to keep adding the stuff so they can rip you off. I paid $1200 just to get my heat fixed and they kept my car for 5 days when they initially told me only one day. Secondly, they gave me a year warranty and after 5 months I had exact same issue and took my car and they said its not the same problem they fixed earlier and asked for another $706. When I insisted that I have a year warranty, the lady at the front desk started screaming just like when someone get caught cheating and shouts to protect him/herself. Very unprofessional, rude, not trust worthy at all, very dishonest and have serious attitude problems. Not recommend at all. Save your money or you will be posting something just like I am. Heads up!
